Part i
Korah and Company
Genesis 6:4-7
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4)
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (Genesis 6:6)
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. (Genesis 6:7)
  What a condemnation of mankind by his Creator! What a testimonial against man! And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5) What is YOUR opinion of mankind? Let me guess, you may be thinking that within man is some good, and after all, what is written in Genesis 6:4-7 happened (or may not have happened) thousands of years in the past; consequently, man has ‘evolved’ into a better specimen of human behavior in goodness and in achievement of great accomplishments in aiding the human spirit, body and mind to greater heights of love and charity. (What a bunch of BadSense reasoning.) If you agreed with that sentence then you need to turn off your television, throw out your reading material, or consider getting a lobotomy. (Tragically, I think that many have already been lobotomized.) Am I too harsh? NEVER! To the unsaved, and non-Christian, I say, You deceive yourself! To the Christian, I say, Don’t deceive yourself!
  Being naïve and gullible should not be qualities desired by any Christian. In fact, the unsaved believe that all Christians are both naïve and gullible because too many professing Christians display their ignorance of Scripture every time they open their mouths! (Now I will admit that I am often frustrated by the lack of common sense regarding the Word of God from so-called church followers.) Yes, there is a spiritual sense in common sense, and common sense in spiritual sense; sadly, however, ‘common sense’ is not very common among those with any sense.
  Now back to God’s knowledge about ALL of humanity. (You are included in ‘ALL of humanity’ and for the feminists who may be reading this article (and I doubt that any feminists follow any of my articles) you are also included in the term ‘mankind.’) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5) This was not an opinion, God doesn’t have opinions, because God is Spirit and Truth. And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, (Exodus 34:6) God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
  What God the Holy Spirit penned by the hand of Moses is TRUTH, not opinion. All of mankind is wicked, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Almost all of mankind will admit that they are sinners, however, not many can define ‘sin’ according to God’s dictionary and thesaurus. The problem is that ‘sin’ is seen as only being an ‘act committed.’ Sin is much, much more than committing an act. Sin is the human state of being. We are born in sin. We are sin. We have within ourselves the D.N.A. of the sin gene — do you get it now? Adam was formed from dust, not born, when Adam brought sin into the world, his DNA changed (yes, DNA can change) and we (all of mankind) now have the sin gene. (Now that is Genetics 101 according to Professor Mary.) I do not know how Adam moved from one state of being to another state of being in sin, that is God’s domain. I do not know if or how Adam’s DNA changed, that is God’s domain! We are not told to analyze and dissect His creation, nor does God expect us to understand His creatorial powers; however, we are told to BELIEVE and to OBEY His Word.
Side Note : Belief and Obedience: That was what Eve failed at (as she was gullible, deceived, tricked, flimflammed) all because she refused to believe GOD. But the difficult part for us to comprehend is that Adam was not gullible, nor was he deceived, tricked or flimflammed, Adam KNEW, and because he knew the truth and was the Federal Head of a brand-new creation called man, he is the one God holds responsible for the fall of mankind, and rightly so! To this day, man in Adam, shuns responsibility. And women (I know this because I am a woman and understand women) hunger for control (not responsibility as much as the power of being in control). (Please note that I did not write ALL women.) From business to personal, from men to children, from situations to events, from planning or plotting women are very skillful in manipulation techniques. (Sorry women, that’s the truth.)
For Adam was first formed, then Eve. (1st Timothy 2:13) And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. (1st Timothy 2:14)
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. (Genesis 3:6)
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (2nd Corinthians 11:3)
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. (1st Corinthians 15:21) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (1st Corinthians 15:22)
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:Â (Romans 5:12)
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. (Romans 5:13)
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. (Romans 5:14)
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. (Romans 5:15)
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. (Romans 5:16)
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:17) ♦ End of Side Note: Belief and Obedience:
Side Note of a Side Note: Although there were many women in Scripture that God honored to serve Him, they did so in many roles: as mothers (Sarah, Hannah, Ruth), as a warrior (Jael), as a messenger (Abigail), as a prophetess, judge, leader (Deborah), as teachers of the Word (Priscilla Lois, Eunice), as servants of the Church (Phebe). ♦ End of Side Note of a Side Note.
Men of Renown United
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4)
  This phrase ‘men of renown’ is recorded twice in scripture. The first record is found in Genesis 6:4. We too often think that this phrase means honorable men, men of character, men of principle, men who are respectable and even men who are righteous; however, this first mention in Genesis 6:4, definitely does not refer to this definition of renown. How do I know this? The following verse 4 describes these mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (Genesis 6:6)
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. (Genesis 6:7)
  The place where these phrases are recorded speaks volumes about these men of renown. Genesis 6:4, was, of course, before the universal flood in judgment against the evils of mankind. The second and last mention of men of renown is found in Numbers 16:2, (approximately one thousand years after the flood, of course, this is a rough estimation of time). And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown. Read Chapter 16 of the book of Numbers to understand what kind of men these were . . . these men of renown.
  The last verse in the 15th Chapter is a good lead into the 16th Chapter. I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God. (Numbers 15:41) In this 4th book of the Pentateuch, God set His righteous and holy parameters around His fledgling nation of Israel. After this statement by God in Numbers 15:41, His nation was ready to worship and obey Him. NOT! Follow the hearts of men, and see in their hearts, YOUR heart. See in their acts, the acts of the men of renown today at this very moment in time November 15, 2020, the evil hearts of hatred and rebellion through the Voter Fraud Election Coup that we are engulfed with by men of renown.
Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: (Numbers 16:1)
And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown: (Numbers 16:2)
And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD? (Numbers 16:3)
  AAA . . . HAH . . . a conspiracy. A real life conspiracy: not a conspiracy theory, nor a ‘there is nothing to it’ type of conspiracy, BUT an actual conspiracy. You see, there are such things as conspiracies, and men of renown gathered themselves together AGAINST Moses and AGAINST Aaron.
  By looking closely at these men of renown, we may see something about OUR current men of renown. Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: (Numbers 16:1) Korah was the leader, and Dathan and Abiram (brothers) followed, and also lastly but not unmentioned is On. Four men were the originators of this political and religious coup attempt. These four men caused thousands to perish. But what did they care where their rebellious coup would take them.
Side Note: Why names? Stay focused. You will be reading names upon names, and each name has a specific meaning. These names will lead to the reason why these men believed that they had a right to overthrow Moses and Aaron. These names will also show the connection and family relationships within the twelve tribes of Israel. EVERYTHING in Scripture is important. Sadly, many Bible readers have a tendency to skim quickly over names without ever seeing God’s purpose in these names. Stay strong, and if you miss a point, or you don’t understand a point . . . keep reading, the Holy Spirit of God has something waiting for you further in His Word. (I was not always able to see connections as a new Christian. I could digest milk easily, but as a child needs teeth to chew, a Christian also needs teeth . . . so chew on.) ♦ End of Side Note: Why names?Â
  These lowlife individuals were from two tribes: Levi and Reuben. Let us look at the tribe of Reuben first. You remember Reuben don’t you?
And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. (Genesis 49:1) Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father. (Genesis 49:2) Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: (Genesis 49:3)Â Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch. (Genesis 49:4)
  There were many twists and turns in the tribe of Reuben, some acts of bravery, and valor, and some acts of shame and disgrace. Reuben was a man divided within, and without. And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine: and Israel heard [it]. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve: (Genesis 35:22) Willing to lay down all that he had to undo his treachery against his brother Joseph. And Reuben spake unto his father, saying, Slay my two sons, if I bring him not to thee: deliver him into my hand, and I will bring him to thee again. (Genesis 35:22) A double minded person is a tormented soul without peace. A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways. (James 1:8) The tribe of Reuben was also one of the tribes that made the decision to remain outside of the borders of the nation of Israel. And it was also the tribe (during the wilderness journey) that encamped on the South side of the Tabernacle. When they broke camp, the order to march was very specific: Judah’s standard went first (from the East side) with the tribes of Issachar and Zebulon. The second group that followed Judah’s standard was Reuben’s standard with the tribes of Simeon and Gad. The third group to follow was the Levites with the Tabernacle and the articles of the Tabernacle, and this would be Levi and Kohathites. Let’s begin a character profile of Reuben and his tribe. Although Reuben was first born, he was never first in camp life. Second place was his designated marching placement. Judah’s standard was the lion, Reuben’s standard was a man. Here is the distinction in types and placement. Always second, never first.
The Names of Men of Renown
  Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men. The meaning is all in the names. Reuben means ‘see ye, a son.’ And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren. (Genesis 29:31) And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore my husband will love me. (Genesis 29:32) Being a first-born son is no light thing. Responsibility and leadership are seen in the first born. Being the heir apparent was the accepted future of first-born sons, BUT not for Reuben. First, it was Reuben’s younger brother Joseph who was loved by Jacob, and it was Judah (Genesis 49:8-10) who received the prophecy of leadership, sonship and heirship in the prophecy by Jacob. Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright. (1st Chronicles 5:1) This must have been a deep wound to Reuben’s pride because three of his descendants (Dathan, Abiram, and On) sought to become the leaders in Israel instead of God’s selected men Moses and Aaron (both from the tribe of Levi). They wanted more responsibility than what they had. They wanted more authority than what they had. They wanted control over all civil and religious actions. (Have you not been victimized by various state Governors of Marxist thought concerning ‘the so-called pandemic’?) Evil men and women decreeing where you go, whom you meet, how long you meet, what you cannot or can purchase, what time you can leave your home, and what you can or cannot say . . . this isn’t control? . . . it is all for your health . . . this is slavery under the rule of tyrants.
  They wanted to be the ones to command and to have control over the nation . . . and ye shall be as gods. This desire to be as gods exists within the DNA all of mankind, and especially within the serpentine souls of politicians . . . OUR politicians.
  Let us continue on past Reuben to Dathan, Abiram, and On. The name of Dathan means ‘their law, their decree.’ Dathan and Abiram were brothers from their father Eliab, a son of Reuben. Interesting that Eliab would name one son ‘their law, their decree.’ Hmmm . . . sounds a bit hostile, ‘their law, their decree.’ This appears almost defiant and headstrong against authority. Then Eliab names another son Abiram, ‘my father is exalted.’ There it is — the desire to be number one. Now on to Eliab (a son of Reuben). Eliab’s name means ‘my God is father.’ It was Reuben who gave Eliab this name, and it is very notable that Reuben would recognize that His God (Jehovah) is his Father ‘my God is father.’ Notable, and correct because it is true that ‘my God is father,’ but as it quite often happens in twisted minds it leads to a twisted tongue, and to a twisted concept, and a twisted doctrine. It is an easy slight of thought to go from ‘my God is father,’ to ‘my father is God.’ Consider this: ‘My father is exalted’ (Abiram) becomes his reason and purpose for being, it becomes Abiram’s character to see his father (Eliab) and his grandfather (Reuben) as number one, as exalted, as preeminent, as the TRUE leader of all the tribes. The core of this rebellious coup against God’s declared leaders in Moses and Aaron in the sons of Reuben is their desire and belief that they are the TRUE leaders of Israel, and because of ‘their law, their decree,’ they have been set aside and removed from their proper position of leadership. This is the Cain syndrome repeated again and again throughout the history of fallen man.
  There is one more individual to examine, and this is the man called On. He is ON alright, but he is also very off. Dathan and Abiram had what they would call a moral issue with Moses and Aaron, but it was On who had the Machiavellian ruthlessness to actively proceed with this rebellious conspiracy. The name of On means ‘vigor: strength: iniquity.’ Dathan and Abiram gave the rebellion ‘a reason,’ and On gave them ‘the means,’ but it was Korah who led and organized it all, he was the spokesperson.
Side Note:Â As in all conspiracies there are many players. As in the conspiracy in Numbers Chapter 16, we are witnessing the greatest conspiracy of all time in the massiveness of the number of conspirators in our 2020 Election Voter Fraud Coup attempt. There are the planners, the reasoners, the means, the influencers, the financial backers, the organizers, the thought manipulators, and the cleanup crews. You want names: list the names of your Senators and Representatives, list the names of those in your state designated by your Governor to oversee the integrity of elections, list the names of your Newspapers and your T.V. personalities, list the names of your entertainment industry, list the names of your college presidents, and the names of your schoolteachers. Massive treachery is still treachery.
[Though] hand [join] in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered. (Proverbs 11:21)
Every one [that is] proud in heart [is] an abomination to the LORD: [though] hand [join] in hand, he shall not be unpunished. (Proverbs 16:5) ♦ End of Side Note: As in all conspiracies there are many players
  Peleth ‘separation’ was the father of On. Remember that names reveal character or personality in the one who bears the name, and of the individual who gives the name. On’s father was called ‘Separation,’ Eliab and Peleth were brothers, very interesting that Eliab was called ‘my God is father,’ and Peleth was named ‘Separated.’ Peleth was separated from those around him, but why? Did he consider himself to be above others? Did he consider himself on a higher plain than others? Man is separated from others by choice or by the choice of others. Separation can also imply rejection. Rejection is a hard thing to endure and to accept, but separation is entirely different from rejection. In Peleth I see an attitude of arrogance, and a superiority complex.
  Peleth’s son On is a bit of a mystery man. We know the meaning of his name: ‘vigor: strength: iniquity,’ but he (at this point in my study) is untraceable. He appears in Numbers Chapter 16 but disappears from any documentation about him. He only is seen in the organized conspiracy of Korah, but is never mentioned again in this Chapter.
Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took [men]: (Numbers 16:1)
Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. (Numbers 16:24)
  The Holy Spirit does not inform us of On’s death, or his judgment from God with the judgment of his fellow conspirators, there is nothing about On or his family. This man of vigor, strength and iniquity (the muscle of the conspiracy) disappears without the Holy Spirit of God telling us more about why he disappeared. This shadow man (or the infamous ‘anonymous source’) hides in the shadows then disappears into the unseen world of darkness. He was numbered and named with the conspirators, but when it was God’s time to judge these men, On was no where to be found. Anything that I may write now would be clearly conjecture without scriptural evidence. I have my thoughts about his disappearance, but again I have no basis for even an opinion on the matter. (I love a mystery, don’t you?)
The Leader of the Men of Renown
  The leader was Korah . . . Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: (Numbers 16:1) Let us trace these four names to see what we shall see. Levi means ‘joined.’ And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi. (Genesis 29:34) In the book of Genesis Chapter 49, verses 5 – 7 in Jacob’s prophecy of his twelve sons.
Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations. (Genesis 49:5)
O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall. (Genesis 49:6)
Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel. (Genesis 49:7)
 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi . . . One of the sons of Levi was named Kohath meaning, ‘waiting: obedient: assembly,’ and his son was called Izhar ‘oil.’ Not just any oil, but a special oil, an anointing oil. His name sets him as someone that shines forth in the things of the holy. However, his name is tied to the chief antagonist against the men of God. This leads us to Korah (Old Testament spelling and New Testament spelling Core). Before we tackle Korah we should do a deep dive (maybe not so deep, but at least a toe dip into the word of God regarding Kohath). Kohath meaning, ‘waiting: obedient: assembly,’ lived to the meaning of his name.
Side Note: Back to Bible basics: All priests were determined by God to be Levites; however, not all Levites were priests. All who ministered IN the things of the tabernacle were chosen by God from the tribe of Levi. Aaron was made (by Jehovah) to be the high priest over Israel, and his direct line of sons were to serve Aaron in his role as high priest, and at Aaron’s death his eldest son would then become high priest, and in turn his eldest son would become high priest at the death of his father the high priest. The Levitical priesthood was set as a dynasty based on sonship.
All outside of the direct line of Aaron, such as Aaron’s brothers, and their sons had specific responsibilities and within these responsibilities ALL priests and Levites had to have certain physical and age qualifications. Jehovah left nothing to chance, and He had a purpose for every detail. The Almighty God (through the pen of Moses written by the Holy Spirit of God) took many chapters in the Old Testament setting the rules dealing with the priesthood and the Levites in their responsibilities to the Tabernacle, to the nation of Israel, and to their Creator God. (The reason why God was and is very protective about all that concerns His priesthood can be seen in the summary of His priesthood in the book of Hebrews.) The reason and role of the priesthood are not for this article at this time. ♦ End of Side Note: Back to Bible basics
  Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi . . . as in many families with many sons, families become divided along lines of self interest. Remember, all sons of Levi were Levites, but not all Levites were priests. The following verses will serve as a very basic genealogy chart.
And these [are] the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi [were] an hundred thirty and seven years. (Exodus 6:16)
And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath were an hundred thirty and three years. (Exodus 6:18)
And Amram took him Jochebed his father’s sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years. (Exodus 6:20)
  And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, [even] Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons. (Exodus 28:1) The line of the high priest through Levi went to Kohath through Amram and on to Aaron (the first designated high priest of the nation of Israel), and onto Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, (and as you probably know Nadab and Abihu perished leaving the next son Eleazar as the high priest after Aaron’s death).
  Now don’t get restless . . . this is all necessary in order that we might see the reason for the conspiracy in Numbers Chapter 16. Well . . . we all know the reason for ALL conspiracy and that is ENVY and JEALOUSY! And so also, these men of renown were all envious and jealous of their cousins: Moses and Aaron.
  Here was Korah, so close to the throne of power, and the place of influence . . . as in the conspiracy against our elected President Trump and his administration at this exact date (November 15, 2020) that the conspirators actually believe that they know how to run/rule a country. (These delusionists believed their own delusions.) The last one hundred years have proven that they haven’t the faintest concept about honesty, representation, business sense, common sense, people sense, and knowledge of the nature of mankind. (There has never been a politician who could run a lemonade stand honestly without stealing the lemons, the water, the sugar, and any profits made; then they tax all lemon trees, the water in the clouds, and any sweetness left to enjoy.) One of the definitions of a politician is one who punishes honesty, efficiency, responsibility, and success. We (at this exact moment in history) should relate to Numbers Chapter 16 and these men of renown in the conspiracy against God, and His chosen men: Moses and Aaron.
And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD? (Numbers 16:3)
  These conspirators worked against Moses and against Aaron, they were jealous of the men who God has placed over them to lead them. They hated God’s order of government over His own nation. Notice in Numbers 16:3, they had the audacity to claim that all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them. What a hypocritical statement to make under the guise of, Ye take too much upon you, as if they cared about Moses or Aaron. These men of renown were jealous liars and wished to usurp the power that Moses and Aaron had by the hand of the Almighty God.
Side Note: Oh, yes, we in the United States know all about men of renown. Our Senators and Representatives have been trying for years to take over the powers of the Executive branch because they are all knowing, every one of them is (according to their own opinions) all righteous. Our political men of renown have already usurped judicial power and executive powers away from the office of the President of the United States. ♦ End of Side Note.
Side Note of a Side Note: Man’s government is always built on a wrong foundation
• It’s built on the presumption that men have the ability to govern with truth, justice, and righteousness.
• It’s built on the presumption that men know what is “right” for the masses.
• It’s built on the presumption that because men know what is right, they will do what is right. ♦ End of Side Note of a Side Note:
  It is no coincidence that Numbers Chapter 16 of the book of Numbers lays bare the heart of evil men of renown, and connects to Genesis Chapter 6 in the statement by the Almighty God of the deep evil within ALL of humanity.
  Through the spiritual numbers we learn that in the book of Numbers we have evil men of renown attempting to bring down the divine order of God in the number 10. In the double digit of 16, we have 6 (the number of man) and the number 10 is the number of man’s responsibilities to God, and God’s perfect order that nothing more can be added to make it more perfect, that all is complete, and no more can be done or fulfilled to make it more perfect. As the first dual number in two digits complete the end of the single digit, it also begins a new sequence of a double digit. Number 10 COMPLETES the cycle, and nothing more is necessary for its completeness. Looking at this number from God’s view, we are responsible to God individually and collectively. When you read Numbers Chapter 16 understand it from the point of men of renown rebelling against God and His set order.
Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: (Numbers 16:1)
And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown: (Numbers 16:2)
Andthey gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?(Numbers 16:3)
And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face: (Numbers 16:4)
  It would be well worth your time to read the 16th Chapter of the book of Numbers. These men of renown hungered for control over the people of Israel. They not only wanted the power of Moses, but they wanted the things that Aaron was responsible for as well, and that was the order of the priesthood. Civil control and religious control was their goal. Recognize the battle lines?
And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi: (Numbers 16:8)
Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them? (Numbers 16:9)
And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also? (Numbers 16:10)
For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him? (Numbers 16:11)
  These men of renown were not satisfied with the responsibilities that God had assigned to them. They wanted their assigned places PLUS they wanted more, and they wanted control.
  Recognize the battle lines? You should . . . you have heard their voices and seen their hatred against the citizens of this nation. As Israel experienced these men of renown, we also have experienced the same thing, and are now (this very day November 15, 2020) experiencing the weapons of these men of renown. This was not a small group of men attempting to bring down Moses and Aaron (two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly).
Side Note: In the ongoing election coup against President Trump and the voters of this nation, it is not a small group of anarchists that we are dealing with. The Marxist-Democrat-Republican-Uniparty of the Congress of the United States purchased by the Communist Party of China and preserved by the rulers of influence are our men of renown. The famous men of systems of so-called Artificial Intelligence are giants of controlled communications . . . are our men of renown. The message carriers of our men of renown are very renown for pedophilia, slave trading, baby part dealers, treason, arms dealers, and because they are so very renown God’s description of them is spot on to this very moment in time . . . every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. ♦ End of Side Note.
  In Numbers Chapter 16, they claimed a moral ground for their basis. They claimed to be equal in knowledge of the holy, they claimed to be on the same spiritual plain as both Moses and Aaron. Men of renown live in the lies of their own delusion. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.(2nd Timothy 3:13)
  In Numbers Chapter 16, these treasonous men of renown refused to obey Moses when he called for them.
And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him. (Numbers 16:5)
And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up: (Numbers 16:12)
Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us? (Numbers 16:13)
Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up. (Numbers 16:14)
And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them. (Numbers 16:15)
And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow: (Numbers 16:16)
  These self-righteous men of renown not only rebelled against obeying Moses to appear before God, but they lied about the motives of Moses, and they deliberately misconstrued the historical truth of their exile out of Egypt and their situation in the wilderness. Thus, the rebellion spread because of the lies of these men of renown.
  The Almighty God drew the proverbial line in the sand when He stated, Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. (Numbers 16:21) And they (Moses and Aaron) fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?(Numbers 16:22) And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, (Numbers 16:23) Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. (Numbers 16:24) And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him. (Numbers 16:25) And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins. (Numbers 16:26)
  Throughout this rebellion God was more than gracious, and long suffering. He said, Separate yourselves, Get you up from, and Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins. The people were given a choice. The seditionists were given a chance to remove themselves from the sedition. Here was man’s responsibility to respond with reason and understanding, and more than reason and understanding . . . God was giving them a chance to follow Him in faith, believing that all that He promised He would accomplish. That all He had already accomplished, He would fulfill. There is an old proverb that says, Do not change horses in mid-stream. There is a lot of wisdom in this proverb. I have a better word of wisdom that says, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: (1 Kings 18:21) Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. (Ephesians 5:6)
  Sometimes Christians think that God is slow in acting. He is not. I have never heard of anyone complaining because God was too quick in acting. He is not. It is not about how or when God acts that should be our concern. Our concern for ourselves and for the souls of the perishing is that GOD ACTS. God is not passive, nor is He unconcerned or apathetic. He acts on His own timetable in time and in timelessness. It is a difficult thing for us to comprehend that God’s purposes are not based on our own purposes and wishes. After all, we know all the conditions within all events. Does this not sound like the words from the men of renown when they said to Moses, And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD? (Numbers 16:3) God judged these traitors, and very swiftly.
And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. (Numbers 16:28)
If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me. (Numbers 16:29)
But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. (Numbers 16:30)
And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: (Numbers 16:31)
And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. (Numbers 16:32)
They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. (Numbers 16:33)
And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also. (Numbers 16:34)
And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense. (Numbers 16:35)
  Ding . . . Dong . . . the wicked men of renown and all of the people who rebelled died very swiftly. Would this not be classified as a Supernatural act? It is over! IT IS OVER! Hey . . . Hey . . . It is over! The bad guys are all gone, and now we can all live happily ever after.
  These men of renown disappeared into the bowels of the earth, BUT, and there is a BUT, the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5) Men of renown may cause rebellion, and men of renown may be treacherous and treasonous, and men of renown may influence many others to join with them in their sedition against man and God, but there is within ALL of mankind, whether they are renown or unknown, a heart steeped in sin and wickedness. But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD. (Numbers 16:41) Can you believe this? You may say, How stupid. You may accuse these people of ignorance, but it was not stupidity nor was it ignorance . . . IT WAS/IS SIN! They love being sin. They love their lies. They are so attached to their sin that insanity is the only thing they now have to cling to. Truth, facts, common sense, reason, even what their eyes saw, and what their ears heard no longer have any meaning to these Israelites. (Notice that I sometimes switch between past tense and present tense because although these events recorded in Numbers Chapter 16 happened in the past, it is quite real and contemporary to the events of this day, ON this very day.) Mankind has not changed. Mankind will never change. The only change that anyone can pray for is that others may be changed by the Holy Spirit of God through the new birth in Christ. From grace to grace. From faith to faith. From old man to new man.
And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared. (Numbers 16:42)
And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation. (Numbers 16:43)
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, (Numbers 16:44)
Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces. (Numbers 16:45)
And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun. (Numbers 16:46)
And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people. (Numbers 16:47)
And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed. (Numbers 16:48)
Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah. (Numbers 16:49)
And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed. (Numbers 16:50)
  Thousands, and thousands of people perished because of the evil acts of two hundred and fifty men of renown which originated from four men. Do not feel pity for these people. Do not think that they did not experience the grace of God many times over. Do not think that God did not warn them. Do not think that God was not Just. Do not think that God was not caring and loving. But God sees ALL, He hears ALL, and He Judges ALL.
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, (1st Corinthians 6:9) Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (1st Corinthians 6:10)
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7)
 Men of renown do not go gently into the darkness of night, nor do they dwell forever hidden in the shadows of death and sin without resurfacing under many different guises.
 Korah continues on.
