Through the second river Gihon God divulged what lay ahead for mankind through five verses saturated with the mystery of the history of man in sin and in rebellion and intermingled throughout these five verses God also disclosed that His GRACE, His MERCY and His TRUTH would be rejected, refused and rebuffed again and again.
The religious hypocrite is described in the Bible as a beastly person who acts in ecclesiastical corrupt madness united with evil governments to overthrow God and His Christ. Balaam is one example of all religious hypocrites.
WHO WAS BALAAM?
Train a child to lust after money, and the child will become a political Balaam. Train up a child to sell his soul, and the child will become a news reporter and journalistic Balaam. Train up a child to twist words and meanings, and the child will become a judicial Balaam. Train up a child to use the pulpit as an occupation and means to acquire wealth, and the child will become a corrupt religious Balaam. WHO WAS BALAAM?
