The Last Great Mystery

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)

This series called Men of Renown will begin with these verses in Chapter 6 of the book of Genesis because it is the perfect scene setter for whatever and whoever follows that enables men of renown to act in conflict against God and His Word. Genesis 6 verses 4 and 5 are an accurate definition of men of renown.

The phrase ‘men of renown’ occurs in the Bible only two times. The second and last mention can be found in the 4th book of the Pentateuch in the book of Numbers, Chapter 16. This last mention of ‘men of renown’ goes beyond the definition of men of renown and expands what ‘men of renown’ are not only capable of, but what lurks in the inner most recesses of their thoughts.

The Last Great Mystery Begins

Approaching the last documentation of the word mystery we will be delving into the last book of the Bible (the 66th book) called The Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many refer to this book as ‘the Revelation of the apostle John,’ and in one sense the Holy Spirit of God which is the Spirit of Christ, revealed everything within this 66th book to the apostle John, but the Lord Jesus Christ is the ONE who was revealed; consequently, because Christ is revealed and it was Christ (through His Spirit) who did the revealing the proper title to this 66th book is The Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Chapter 1 has twenty (20) verses, you may think that this a bit of trivia, but it is not. The very first verse informs us of the purpose of this last book of the Bible: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John. The purpose of this book of revealing is to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass. God WANTS us to KNOW what is going to happen in the spiritual realm and in the tangible realm. No one can ever say that they did not know about the failure of the professing church, or the translation of the possessing Church, or the damnation that awaits the peoples of the earth, or how the current social world will collapse, or how the technical, industrial, and economic complex will come to a complete end in ONE HOUR.

• Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. (Revelation 18:10)

• For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, (Revelation 18:17)

• And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.(Revelation 18:19)

No one can ever claim that they never understood how an entire planet in ONE HOUR will transition from a technical, educational, industrial, economic and military complex to a primitive agricultural society. (Most everyone is so consumed by their obsession with their god of technology that they cannot imagine for one moment that technology is a frail and vulnerable system that completely relies on the unseen beyond their control. I am speaking of the unseen that can be measured, but not seen, and I am speaking of the unseen beyond the measurements of mankind. One massive solar flare can destroy national infrastructures in seconds, and disruption within the electromagnetic spectrum is not a light thing. And beyond this unseen world of measurement do not forget the immeasurable unseen spiritual world of God.) This truth is put out front and center and made available to ALL. Refusing to read or to understand is not an excuse. Most all have heard of this last book called ‘the Revelation.’ (They may not know much, but they have HEARD about this book, whether atheist, agnostic, cynic, scoffer, churched or unchurched The Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is not unknown.) Although the premise of ignorance of the law in the United States is founded on the principle of the Roman law ‘ignorantia juris non excusat,’ which means ‘Ignorance of the law is not an excuse.’ Ignorance of the law does not matter. All who break the law is still guilty of the law. The law of the tangible world loudly reiterates the principle within God’s word: that all are without excuse when they reject God and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (Romans 1:20) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (Romans 1:21)

For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: (Romans 2:14) Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) (Romans 2:15)

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.  (John 12:48)

This principle was first designed by God to reveal that man is guilty before the law and after the law. Everything that you do not want to know is in this last book of the Bible, and everything that you want to know is also in this very same book. As prophecy is a topic which draws many: some out of curiosity, and some earnestly seeking, the Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ is also a book which draws the interests of many: some out of curiosity, and some earnestly seeking. Although this particular article is not focused entirely on this book, we will be delving or deep diving into this book focusing on what this book has the reveal to us of Babel (Confusion), Shinar (Confusion), and Babylon (Confusion).

In the second verse we have the seen and the unseen. In the seen we have these words Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. (Revelation 1:2) In the unseen spiritual sphere of numbers we have the witness of the word of God, and the testimony of Jesus Christ and of the apostle John . . . . two is the spiritual number of witness. So from the very first two verses we have the testimony of Jesus Christ mentioned twice, He is the Ultimate and Complete and FINAL Witness of His own Word: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, and the testimony of Jesus Christ. This double witness is a strong indication of what lies within these pages of His Revelation. (The Revelation of Jesus Christ is NOT an easy book to read, not because of the lack of understanding, but because it is painfully grievous to see how low and debased mankind has fallen, and the righteous judgment that awaits mankind because of man’s depraved madness.) Sitting on the abyss of certain and sure judgment (those of us who have the hope of glory before us await our translation or sleep) and looking into this dark and formidable abyss we tremble in sorrow for those who cannot and will not accept the testimony of Jesus Christ.

• Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: (John 11:25) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:26)

• Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

• I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. (Revelation 1:18)

The word mystery is mentioned four (4) times in The Revelation of Jesus Christ. The first reference deal with the mystery of the seven stars and the mystery of the seven golden candlesticks. The second reference of mystery is the mystery of God.  The last two references deal with MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT and the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her. There is an obvious division between these references dealing with two extremely different areas: God’s Supernatural realm of the heavenlies, and the last two references deal with Satan and man’s realm on the earth.

♦

The First Mystery in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ

The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. (Revelation 1:20)

∼

The Second Mystery in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. (Revelation 10:7)

∼

The Third Mystery in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ

And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Revelation 17:5)

∼

The Fourth and Last Mystery in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ

And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. (Revelation 17:7)

Knowing that there are a few readers who would like to rush into what many consider to be the unknowns of The Last Age of Babylon or The Age of Confusion (I sometimes refer to our age as The Age of Madness or The Age of Insanity) also known as THE END . . . . it is needful to not rush, but to lay the groundwork to enable readers to have a strong foundation of scriptural understanding. Let us, therefore, begin with the first mystery in the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ. (Not bad for a quick beginning . . . . we are only at page 4 before we begin.)

—— The First Mystery ——

The Seven Angels and The Seven Churches

The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. (Revelation 1:20)

You can’t see me, but I am smiling. The reason that I am smiling is because I am thinking, What an idiot. . . to think that I am going to cover the topics of seven angels and seven churches in one article that can be read in one sitting. These are topics for a lifetime of study! Oh well . . . . let us put aside all doubts and fears and let us proceed prayerfully asking for guidance of the Spirit of Christ knowing that He desires that His children seek Him out of the book and read . . . . Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read. (Isaiah 34:16a)

He saith to him again the second time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him,  Feed my sheep. (John 21:16) He saith unto him the third time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. (John 21:17)

This call of the Lord Jesus Christ to Simon Peter was to supply spiritual nourishment to those in the flock, His entire fold . . . . it was not to lay before them a social and political agenda, but to spiritually sustain, refresh, comfort, and provide the words of God to those who hunger for the truth of God so that they might grow and feast on His word, find strength in His counsel, and be encouraged by His precepts.

• Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual [gifts], seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church. (1st Corinthians 14:12) — Feed my sheep.

• The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good [thing]. (Psalm 34:10) — Feed my sheep.

• And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. (Psalm 119:45) — Feed my sheep. — Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors. (Psalm 119:24)

The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. (Revelation 1:20)

Let us dissect this first mystery into sections. Why did the Spirit of God direct us to my right hand? You’re thinking, Why should we be concerned about which hand the Lord is holding the mystery of the seven stars and the seven golden candlesticks in, whether it is the right hand or the left hand? Trivia? No. The right hand is the hand of blessing and power. The Law of First Mention is a scriptural tool that is used to follow the trail of the core meaning to a word, or phrase, or precept, or concept. Let’s follow the trail of the right hand. (I suggest that you read the entire 48th Chapter of the book of Genesis, and because I know that you will not do this because of time constraints or because of boredom, I will, therefore, select the references with the words right hand, and this will quickly allow you to see that the right hand takes on the meaning of the place of blessing and of power.)

And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel’s right hand, and brought [them] near unto him. (Genesis 48:13) And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid [it] upon Ephraim’s head, who [was] the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh [was] the firstborn. (Genesis 48:14)

And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto Manasseh’s head. (Genesis 48:17) And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this [is] the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head. (Genesis 48:18) And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations. (Genesis 48:19)

Through this first mention of the right hand of a specific person, the man named Israel, the Holy Spirit of God teaches us that God’s will was to bless Joseph (Israel’s son) through Joseph’s second son Ephraim, not his first son, Manasseh. The Spirit of God guided Israel’s hands wittingly. God’s blessings cannot be manipulated. Israel’s blessing on Ephraim gave power to the tribe of Ephraim, but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations. There is so much more that can be said about this event in Genesis 48, but we are picking up breadcrumbs on the trail of the Law of First Mention. Now let us continue on this trail of right hand in the Old Testament. As the Lord Jesus Christ is the wisdom of God personified, so we also see that the Lord Jesus Christ is the personification of the Right Hand of God. Christ is the Right Hand of God in action, in power and in blessing. (Remember that there is no such thing in the Bible as coincidence. Since the Spirit of God spoke the words of God to the prophets of God, it is no surprise then that He would know what would occur in time when a system of numbers would be added as place-markers to follow His words. These place markers that we call chapter and verse numbering also coincides with the system of law when lawyers mark each line in their documents with a number to keep the integrity of words.)

The Lord Jesus Christ has always been the visible and the invisible personification of God in both time and in timelessness.

Having written all that, therefore, let us connect Genesis Chapter 48:13 (the first mention of His right hand) to Chapter 48, verse 13 in the book of Isaiah where we have CORE of who is the right hand of God. Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: [when] I call unto them, they stand up together. (Isaiah 48:13) The Lord Jesus Christ has always been the visible and the invisible personification of God. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:9) Christ IS the RIGHT HAND of God. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: (Hebrews 1:10)

• Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. (Psalm 102:25)

• In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

• In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1) The same was in the beginning with God. (John 1:2) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:3)

• He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. (John 1:10)

• Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: (Colossians 1:15) And by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Colossians 1:16) And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (Colossians 1:17)

It was the Lord Jesus Christ in His glorified bodily form and outward state who appeared to Moses and gave the Law to Israel . . ..

And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. (Exodus 33:20) And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: (Exodus 33:21) And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: (Exodus 33:22) And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen. (Exodus 33:23)

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. (John 1:18)

Side Note: The Blood of the Covenant Reveals God. It was only after Moses had taken the blood and sprinkled it on the people and proclaimed that God had made a covenant with Israel THROUGH blood that Israel was able to SEE God. See the connection of the first covenant of blood in the Old Testament to the covenant of blood in the New Testament.

And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words. (Exodus 24:8) Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: (Exodus 24:9) And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. (Exodus 24:10) And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink. (Exodus 24:11)

• Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. (Luke 22:20)

• Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. (Hebrews 9:20)

• Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:29)

• And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel. (Hebrews 12:24)

• Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, (Hebrews 13:20)

• Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. (1st Peter 1:2) ♦ End of Side Note – The Blood of the Covenant Reveals God.

When Gideon, Manoah and his wife, and later when Isaiah saw God, they saw The Right Hand of God actively revealing The God of Glory in the face of Jesus Christ. No one can look on the fullness of the glory of God and live. It is ONLY through the veiled glory in the face of Jesus Christ that man can look and live and the connection of blood sprinkled as in Exodus 24:8-11. And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand [went] a fiery law for them. (Deuteronomy 33:2)

The Right Hand of God exemplified pleasure, righteousness and power. The Right Hand was and is Christ Jesus in presence. The Right Hand of God is the physical personification of Jesus Christ and the symbolism of the right hand in His position and state within the Godhead. Allow me to rewrite this as: the Lord Jesus was/is the pleasure, the righteousness, and the power of God in visible form. Whenever you readthy right hand,’ or ‘his right handit is specifically referring to the Lord Jesus Christ because Christ was/is the Godhead BODILY, or the BODILY part of the Godhead revealing God to mankind. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:9)

• Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore. (Psalm 16:11)

• According to thy name, O God, so [is] thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. (Psalm 48:10)

• And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, [even to] this mountain, [which] his right hand had purchased. (Psalm 78:54)

• O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. (Psalm 98:1)

• Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. (Exodus 15:6)

There is yet much more to be written about The Right Hand of God, but nevertheless, let us proceed . . . .

♦

The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.  (Revelation 1:20)

I have read that one cell of the human body under the measurement of magnification reveals a universe of its own. The written word of God also reveals a universe of its own because the One who created the universe also gave us His word. The last verse in the 1st Chapter of the book of REVELATION is a universe of its own. In our known universe we are told that there are stars, galaxies, gas, measurable elements, and elements that cannot be measured. Within this constantly moving body called the universe are also elements within our own constantly active bodies called the human race. Our own bodies are unique miniature replicas of the universe containing things that can be seen with the eye and things that cannot be seen. Then the universe can also be viewed as the magnification of the human cell in things that can be seen and in the things that cannot be seen, such as from dark matter. (The difference between dark (unknown) matter and matter (known) is that dark matter can neither be seen directly, nor measured directly, but it is said to exist because of its effects on objects and on space-time through light and energy. Now compare this to God’s Supernatural spiritual world. Do you see any similarities? I certainly do.) The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. (Psalm 19:10) The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. (Psalm 97:6) God uses His very creation to teach His creatures about Himself. Mankind is so focused on one drop of water that they cannot see the endless ocean of God’s natural and spiritual wonder spread before them as a universe of cosmic glory. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. (Romans 1:19) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. (Romans 1:20)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) For by it the elders obtained a good report. (Hebrews 11:2) Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:3)

View the word of God also as a universe within each word and phrase. God wrote His universe of words designed as His ever-expanding universe discloses His handiwork to us. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. (Psalm 19:10) The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. (Psalm 97:6) As you read the 20th verse of Chapter 1 of the book of Revelation, notice that the Holy Spirit of God presents the Lord Jesus Christ not only in words, but in types, and in symbolism, and through tangible and intangible items . . . . a universe of thought specifically designed to communicate with mankind wherever man lies in the spectrum of understanding.

Just to get your minds back to focus on the subject at hand . . . . this series is about Men of Renown, and specifically the man called Nimrod, the man who built the first empire on earth, and how this first empire relates to the last empire on earth which IS the Empire of Babylon. The first confederate city of Babel in the land of Shinar became the Empire of Babylon that further developed into our current age and state of confusion. The Empire of Babylon rose from the ashes of the old Babylonian empire and culture and through its energized rebirth in the Roman Empire it is today (although not called Babylon) we are (ALL of us) citizens of Babylon. This is one of the many reasons that Scripture shouts to us And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Revelation 17:5) Once in a while I find it necessary to reiterate where we are in this article, and why we are where we are because many may get lost in the universe of thought in God’s word. (Is anyone out there? Is anyone still reading? Oh, well, it matters not, it only matters what the Spirit of God directs my heart and spirit to do, I must write whether or not anyone is reading.) OK . . . . let us proceed . . . . The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. (Revelation 1:20)

The first mystery in the first Chapter is the mystery of the seven stars . . . . and the seven golden candlesticks. Everything in this verse points to the Lord Jesus Christ. Did you notice something? The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. This is also another part of God’s communication universe. Six (6) times we have the word seven (7). The number of man (imperfection – the number 6) hidden behind the scenes in this verse only seen when counted because the Perfection of God in the visible number of seven (7) is made preeminent. (Here is another hidden message, not as much hidden as it is unseen by many readers.) The One who is holding in His right hand (because He is the complete power and blessing of God) the SEVEN stars and the SEVEN golden candlesticks is the PERFECTION and COMPLETENESS of God as the Light of the world, and as the Perfect Testimony to the world through the voice of His Body, the Church.

This is given to us in the form of a mystery, but not that we should be mystified by it, nor should we never see within this mystery, but its mystery lies in our very nature that we as the human race are outside of the spiritual garden of God. This is one of the many great things that we lost when Adam willfully brought sin into the world. We lost our spiritual connection to God, and we lost our physical connection to life because sin brought forth death. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5:12)

What is this two-part mystery within the first mystery in the first Chapter of the mystery of the seven stars . . . . and the seven golden candlesticks? Now do not complain because although many want to know what happens in the book of the Revelation, many really do not want to know what is in God’s universe of words. I am going to travel ahead of the word seven because this word will rise up through the unseen to reveal itself many times.

The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches. There have been a few ‘scholars’ who have claimed that these angels were men who were given positions of leadership over the churches. Although this is a fallacy, yet, if it were true, it would be to their shame and not to their honor for the early state of the infant church was not an honorable state; consider the carnality within the church at Corinth, or the failure of the church at Laodicea and Colosse to recognize the Lord Jesus Christ as God. And in the current condition of the professing world church those in leadership positions also reveal that same failure as the earlier leaders of the church in its infant stage. So, therefore, to make ‘scholarly statements’ that these angels in Revelation 1:20 are men in leadership is not a point of honor, but a condemnation of spiritual failure within these so called ‘angels;’ as ‘the angel’ called Diotrephes (a leader OVER the church) as recorded in 3 John 1:9, I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not. You mean this man was an ‘angel’ of God that God referred in Revelation 1:20. I think not! However, we do have these same so-called ‘angels’ today in every professing church making decisions of a spiritual nature that is beyond their spirituality because they are not of God. Because of these Spiritless ‘angels,’ the church today is in ruin. These ‘angels’ have made the church what it is today: wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. These men of renown promoting themselves above the true sons of God could never be called by God ‘angels.’

The seven candlesticks are the seven churches. Notice that in His right hand He holds seven GOLDEN candlesticks, but this word is not mentioned again with the seven churches. There is a major distinction made by the Spirit of God. And this is part of the mystery. In the first church of Ephesus, the Lord Jesus Christ is described as HOLDING the seven stars in His right hand, and He walks in the midst of the seven GOLDEN candlesticks. (Note that the Lord holds securely His Church, no individual can be plucked out of His Hand or from His Church (the unseen Church).  Also note that in this first church He holds, and He walks in the midst of His Church, but as this church later corrupts itself then at the last and seventh church, He is not holding this church in His hand nor is He walking in the midst, but He spews this last church out of His mouth.) Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; (Revelation 2:1) The candlesticks that He walks amongst are GOLDEN, they have the righteousness of God, and as the church progresses through time from corruption to corruption when we see the last church called Laodicea they are told to buy of me gold tried in the fire. This last church (the age of the current visible world church) is void and empty of the righteousness of God. I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. (Revelation 3:18) After the first church Ephesus was warned that unless they repented, He would quickly remove the candlestick from their presence, thus, throughout the following ages of church history we no longer have the words candlestick for God removed their righteous witness from them. God stripped them of their witness not because of their failure to maintain His righteousness, but because scores of ungodly had come into the church under the guise of Christianity and became the majority usurping rights from the sons of God. These usurpers were NEVER righteous in the first place; thus, they no longer had a witness for God, they were no longer lights for Him in a dark world. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. (Revelation 2:5) He warned the first church that He would remove their light as a witness to the world if they failed to repent and failed, they did. The candlestick of witness flickered and slowly went out because through the centuries the visible church denied the righteousness of God, they denied the work of the Holy Spirit, and the two elements that were required for the flame in the candlestick to burn with fervor was the oil of the Holy Spirit of God and the breath of God blowing His power and blessings on them.  How is the Holy Spirit of God denied? He is denied when unholy men decide what to preach, when men without the Spirit of God decide who should preach and who should teach, when men without the Spirit of Truth decide what is truth and what is error, when men decide that their authority is above the word of God, when men decide who is accepted into the church and who is rejected, when men decide who goes to heaven and who goes to hell,  when men decide that their organization is the only system that speaks the words of God, when men decide that they should rule over others, when men decide that they have the right to forgive sinners, when men decide  that their approval is essential in order to be blessed by God, when men decide it is better to protect the sin within their system then to obey the truth of the word of God, . . . . WHEN men decide . . . . when MEN decide . . . . when men DECIDE . . . . it is THEN that the Holy Spirit of God is denied!

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. (John 4:23)
God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14)
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. (1st Corinthians 2:12)
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty. (2nd Corinthians 3:17)
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, [see that ye] love one another with a pure heart fervently: (1st Peter 1:22)

The last reference in the 1st Chapter of the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ states that this mystery of these seven stars and these seven golden candlesticks are directly connected to the history of the visible churches. The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. (Revelation 1:20) This verse is the foreword, the preface, and the prologue of what occurs in Chapters 2 and 3 of the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. It is much more than a scene setter for the Holy Spirit of God discloses God’s Perfection in the numbers. Remember this previous statement? Six (6) times we have the word seven (7). The number of man (imperfection – the number 6) hidden behind the scenes in this verse only seen when counted because the Perfection of God in the visible number of seven (7) is made preeminent. (Here is another hidden message, not as much hidden as it is unseen by many readers.) The One who is holding in His right hand (because He is the complete power and blessing of God) the SEVEN stars and the SEVEN golden candlesticks is the PERFECTION and COMPLETENESS of God.

Part of this mystery (The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks) is that everything that God allows man to take part IN, then man takes control OVER, thus, the righteous are overcome by the false ministers of righteousness. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (2nd Corinthians 11:14) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2nd Corinthians 11:15)

Side Note: A Simple Outline of Church History. Throughout Church history each successive church became more corrupt than the preceding church.

Ephesus – (100 A.D. – 200 A.D.) — the church in its infant foundational state fighting against outside forces making advances with heresies and attempting to replace its foundation with Old Testament rituals and structures.

Smyrna – (200 A.D. – 300 A.D.) — the unpolitical church severely persecuted by the pagan governmental world.

Pergamos –  (300 A.D. – 425 A.D.) —the church marries with the world and is completely infiltrated by its enemies – the age of Constantine and his edicts.

Thyatira – (425 A.D. – 590 A.D.) —the church politically at its prime in corruption and influence over the world — the church militarizes against all opposition — the Bible removed as the sole spiritual authority — intellectualism and elitism rules.

Sardis – (590 A.D. – 1500 A.D.) — division within its ranks, the Protestant Reformation, and philosophies of Eastern and Western worlds take root.

Philadelphia – (1500 A.D. – to current year) —a ground root movement outside of the visible church advances to bring the Bible and Christ as the Center point back to the church, the age of the advancement of the gospel and missions — the written word of God made available to the masses.

Laodicea – (1700 A.D. to current year)— the church in spiritual ruin, fragmented, and indistinguishable from the corrupt social and political world, this last church goes into the end time. This church is proof against the wishful teaching of universal salvation and that man is basically and inherently good.

Disclaimer: these are mere date approximations and are not to be taken as historically precise and exact but are given only to provide a place in time to research church documents and edicts. The timing when each church age began was not an abrupt and sudden event, but the differences between these churches in Chapters 2 and 3 are indicative of either corruption rooted and solidified, or a period of recovery, such as in the church of Philadelphia. Also, it is IMPORTANT to understand that each spiritual state and condition that the church went through just did not end at a specific date, but the evil that infiltrated into Ephesus (the first Church) took root and this evil root grew and flourished throughout time in the history of the Church. The evil seed that began and took hold in Ephesus became rooted in Laodicea, the seventh and last church of Church history. ♦ End of Side Note an Outline of Church History.

The current and the historical visible church does not represent the invisible church, notice that the Lord Jesus Christ is OUTSIDE of that which is inside . . . rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. The One standing in Chapter 1, the faithful witness, the first begotten of the dead, the prince of the kings of the earth, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the Almighty, the Son of man, and the Ancient of Days is knocking at the door of the heart of the individual if any man hear my voice. The LAST and FINAL CALL is not to the collective, but to the OVERCOMER, to the individual . . . if any man hear my voice.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (Revelation 3:21) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. (Revelation 3:22)

Two thousand years plus of church corruption has affected spiritual understanding and reasoning regarding the truth of the Church. The Church of Christ, the Body of Christ is founded on The ROCK — CHRIST, and CHRIST ALONE. Neither storm nor wind can bring HIS CHURCH down. It is the OVERCOMER who overcomes the world who fellowships with Christ. It is the OVERCOMER who overcomes the world within the visible church who fellowships with Christ. There are not two churches. There is only ONE CHURCH and THAT IS CHRIST ONLY.

—— The Second Mystery——

The Mystery of God Should be Finished

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. (Revelation 10:7)

This phrase (the mystery of God) is recorded twice in Scripture. This second mention in Revelation 10:7 is the last mention that deals with the realm of the heavenlies of the Supernatural sphere of holiness and godliness, and hereafter the next two mysteries revolve around Satan’s evil spiritual realm and the depraved evilness of mankind. (I know . . . I know. . . . that you know this, but repetition can be a good thing.) That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; (Colossians 2:2) This was already covered in the previous article, nevertheless, I will proceed. (See what you miss when you don’t bother to read previous articles!)

This mystery (the mystery of God) is the mystery of Fathership. It is centered in God and the relationship of the love of God within the Godhead. And indeed, it is because of this mystery that the Godhead became active in Their joint creative powers where He made, created and formed the tangible world. (The words created, formed, and made cover all the avenues of the construction of the cosmos. And interestingly there are only two references within ALL of Scripture that contains these three words of creative action: created, formed, and made; thus, witnessing and certifying to His power of creation.) [Even] every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. (Isaiah 43:7) For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else. (Isaiah 45:18)

Baby Side Note: Laws of Grammar Versus Principles of God. To my amusement, the free grammar programs that I use to double check what I write just cannot deal with ‘Their’ and ‘He’ in the same thought or even in the same sentence. There have been many other contrary grammatical statements that I have written that drives these programs bonkers, and probably readers also. And I continually fight against the corrections that these programs try to force into every article (and sometimes I lose). But I always try to favor the side of God’s principles by totally ignoring the laws of grammar, and I also do this to emphasis a particular principle. ♦ End of Side Note: Laws of Grammar Versus Principles of God.

In order for the mystery of God to be finished, it had to begin. All we know of this is in Genesis 1:1 and 2, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. But why was God moved to move upon the face of the waters? What moved God to create the heavens? This is our tangible world, because it was CREATED. The Supernatural Realm of God was already established, but our heavens (the tangible, the physical and the seen) were CREATED. Our earth was FORMED and MADE . . . . to form and to make something, it had to be formed and made from something. The book of Hebrews, Chapter 11 verse 3 adds to this point, Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. We have the seen which was made by things that we cannot see, the unseen. The tangible world was created by the intangible. Even in the tangible world there are tangible things that we cannot see, yet they exist, even more so in the world of the intangible. The spiritual world came first, then the natural or tangible world.

In Isaiah 45:18 we have a scene of both timelessness and of time. For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else. We have a scene of perfect order and perfect planning. (The heavens were created BEFORE time; thus, it is beyond our timing systems to place time onto this creation, no matter how we establish billions and millions of years to our universe, it is outside of our measurement abilities. The system of carbon dating is a fallacy because it is neither accurate nor consistent. It is built on supposition that is fed by using a predetermined range of possibilities with too many variables dealing with carbon, and the ‘unknown’ affects within the ‘unknown’ past universal carbon environment, but that is just my opinion. Although man has an amazing range of tools to measure the solar system, and the outer reaches of the solar system, and even to a small portion of our universe, all measurements dealing with matter come down to the basics of light and energy, and this is where man faces the unknown because within both of these areas of light and energy there are things that he KNOWS that he cannot see but he also KNOWS that they exist and are there — what a conundrum for the person without the faith of Christ within.) Then, after the creation of the universe, God FORMED and MADE the earth, He then ESTABLISHED it, and time began, and He FORMED it to be inhabited. (How does this all relate to the MYSTERY OF GOD?) When God proclaimed these words, then TIME BEGAN. Time could now be measured!

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:2) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Genesis 1:3) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. (Genesis 1:4) And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. (Genesis 1:5)

Stay with me . . . . “This mystery is the mystery of Fathership. It is centered in God and the relationship of the love of God within the Godhead.”

It was LOVE that began the mystery of God: the LOVE of a FATHER — the LOVE of The Everlasting Father.

The mystery of God, yet to be finished, was founded and begin with LOVE. God is said to be many things, such as, God is holy, God is true, God is faithful, God is good, God is a consuming fire, God is light, and God is Spirit, but His LOVE began the mystery of God. One of the clues to this is when God spoke these words, And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him. (Genesis 2:18) God was not alone because the Godhead was possessed with ALL love, and ALL holiness, and ALL righteousness, and ALL truth. There was nothing within the Godhead that had a need yet to be accomplished or fulfilled . . . it wasn’t a need that began the mystery of God. It was LOVE that created the heavens, it was LOVE that formed the earth and made it, it was LOVE that established and created the earth, and it was LOVE that inhabited the earth with God’s creation called mankind. It was LOVE that brought God to walk with Adam in the garden in the cool of day, it was the LOVE of God that translated Enoch, because he pleased God. Yes, it was LOVE that began the mystery of God: the LOVE of a FATHER — the LOVE of The Everlasting Father. The core of this thought is found in Isaiah 9:6, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Here is the core of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.

His Supernatural Realm knew of God’s goodness, His holiness, His truth, His righteousness, oh, how well, they knew of His power and wisdom. This Supernatural Realm has an economy, it has structure, it has a societal form of interaction between and with its citizens, it is a Kingdom, but because it is a spiritual kingdom its structure cannot be grasped by earthly minds. It wasn’t THIS realm of the Supernatural that God chose to display His LOVE through His sacrificial offering of Himself for the sins of the world. No, it wasn’t the realm of the Supernatural that the holy angels desired to look into. They desire to see the salvation of God, the grace of God, and the love of God in the world of the tangible. (Think on these things: why was not salvation and redemption made available for Lucifer and his rebel angels?) Why did the holy angels desire to look into the things of grace? The sufferings of Christ (the Mercy-Seat) and the glory that would follow was, and is, of great interest to the holy angels of God.

Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: (1st Peter 1:10) Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. (1st Peter 1:11) Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. (1st Peter 1:12)

Our tangible world, the world of the seen, the world of sin, this is the world that God began His mystery of godliness. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1st Timothy 3:16)

• Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. (1st John 3:16)

• For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

• In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. (1st John 4:9) Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1st John 4:10)

Paul, through the voice of the Spirit, wrote in one sentence a basic summation of the interaction of the Godhead: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, [be] with you all. Amen. (2nd Corinthians 13:14)

♦

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. (Revelation 10:7)

So far, we have been concentrating on the beginning arena of the mystery of God, but this is only the first part of the phrase the mystery of God should be finished. This mystery will end in the days of the voice of the seventh angel. What occurs when the seventh angel begins to sound? The seventh angel is mentioned three (3) times in the Bible, and all are found in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

• But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. (Revelation 10:7)

• And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. (Revelation 11:15)

• And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. (Revelation 16:17)

As Christ finished His course on earth, He uttered three words: It is finished. And as the mystery of God finished on earth came a great voice (Christ) out of the temple of heaven from the throne, saying, It is done. These are two distinct events. As the Lord Jesus ended His sacrificial redemptive work on the cross on earth He said, It is finished, and as the mystery of God was completed in both of His realms, the Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed in three words, It is done.

Two times these three words  It is done are recorded in Scripture. The first time is in Revelation 16:17 when judgment of the earth begins and is accomplished . . . . It is done, and the mystery of iniquity is overthrown. Then the second and last time that we see these three words it is in Revelation Chapter 21, verse 6, And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give uto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. This is the culmination of the first earth and the first heaven. IT IS DONE.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (Revelation 21:1)

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (Revelation 21:2)

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. (Revelation 21:3)

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:4)

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. (Revelation 21:5)

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. (Revelation 21:6)

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (Revelation 21:7) HERE IS THE LOVE of the EVERLASTING FATHER.

The determinate counsels of God were complete. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost had fulfilled all that had been written, and all that had been determined. And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. (Luke 24:44) Not only on earth, but in heaven the promises of God are completed through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The promises to Israel is completed, the promises to the Church is fulfilled, IT IS FINISHED on earth, and IT IS DONE in the complete Supernatural realm of God . . . . the mystery of God is finished. But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. (Revelation 10:7)

Although ALL is FINISHED and ALL is DONE, and there is also much more that can be written, let us examine where the Holy Spirit of God chose to place His words of the mystery of God should be finished. It is in the last book of the Bible, the 66th book (a double witness to mankind), in the Revelation of Jesus Christ, in Chapter 10, and in verse 7. Very appropriate is it not? Since ten (10) is the number of God’s Divine Perfection of Order, and the number seven (7) is God’s Divine Perfection of Himself, thus, the mystery of God has always been and will always be perfectly accomplished in a particular manner of perfect arrangement and perfect sequence of events, and how could it be otherwise since God Himself is DIVINE PERFECTION IN HIS DIVINE ORDER.

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (John 14:2) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also. (John 14:3)

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.  (John 17:24)

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (1st Corinthians 15:55) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. (1st Corinthians 15:56) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1st Corinthians 15:57)

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. (Isaiah 25:8)

—— The Third Mystery——

And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Revelation 17:5)

There is absolutely no doubt that the Holy Spirit of God placed a great emphasis on this woman, a mother, a harlot and the mother of harlots through His voice sounding out as a SHOUT to us through capitalization. Even in our age of internet conversations, whenever capitalization is used it is considered to be SHOUTING. There are just a few times in Scripture that the Holy Spirit of God SHOUTED through capitalization. (Good point to research.)

Three women are mentioned in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. First, Jezebel is mentioned in Revelation 2:20, Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. We have written much about Jezebel throughout posts in other of our websites; therefore, I will place links so that you can safely access some of these posts. (CLICK HERE to learn of Jezebel in idolatry. CLICK HERE to read of Jezebel in the church age. CLICK HERE to understand how Jezebel was part of an evil alliance in the Old Testament.)

Why is Jezebel the first of three named as women in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ? Always return to the beginning whenever you need to understand the present or the future for it is through the beginning that the seed is planted and nourished. Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work [be] pure, and whether [it be] right. (Proverbs 20:11) The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise [child] shall have joy of him. (Proverbs 23:24) Even at an early age many children exhibit a gentle and kindhearted spirit wherein wisdom can be seen. Yet, how a child is nurtured and encouraged whether to act in the fear of God in reverence and respect, or to act in rebellion against God is the turning of the soil for the seed of good or for the seed of evil to take nourishment. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6) The original Jezebel was trained well by Ethbaal king of the Zidonians to do evil, all of her thoughts were evil, whatever she touched and wherever she planted her feet she spread evil. This is one of the reasons why even the dogs that ate her refused to eat her skull, her feet and the palms of her hands. Even the dogs could not stomach her thoughts, her walk and her works. Even the dogs that are considered to be the lowest and the filthiest animal in the minds of Eastern cultures rejected Jezebel.  And they went to bury her: but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of [her] hands. (2nd Kings 9:35)

The first time that Jezebel is recorded in Scripture is in 1st Kings16:31, And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him. Jezebel was a product of her father. God only gives us one reference about Jezebel’s background. He doesn’t waste His time on her family except for her father because evil has a father. Evil always had and has a father. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44) He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1st John 3:8)

Also, there is another point . . . God the Holy Spirit deliberately did not write more concerning Jezebel’s background than what He has given us in 1st Kings 16:31. It is enough to know that she was born from an evil line, that she served and worshiped an evil deity, and that she gave birth and trained an evil daughter. There is only one Jezebel in the Old Testament and in biblical history because one Jezebel is enough evil for the entire world.

Her politically arranged marriage to the king of Israel (Ahab) was to broaden the territory of Zidon (Sidon). The area of Lebanon is approximately the same territory as the ancient area of Zidon, a seafaring people on the Mediterranean Sea also known as the land of the early Phoenicians. The Zidonian influence was widely felt in the areas that developed along the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea that extended to the Iberian Peninsula. If you know a little about geography, you will understand the significance that the Zidonians played in spreading their worship of Baal throughout the countries that bordered the Mediterranean Sea.

Ethbaal is only mentioned once in the Bible. His name means ‘With Baal.’ He was with Baal in everything that Ethbaal did, everything that he thought, and that he enacted was based on the evilness of the god that he worshiped. Think on this, who named Ethbaal? Do you see that the root of evil in the line of Jezebel extended generations before her birth, her grandfather named his son Ethbaal because even in this child’s name Baal HAD TO BE RECOGNIZED? Ethbaal was much more than ‘With Baal,’ he was stamped with evil, he was evil personified. Therefore, would not his own daughter (Jezebel) exemplify ‘With Baal.’ The root of Jezebel was Baal, and the root of Baal was Satan. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. This also works for those who are of Satan. You cannot truthfully say that evil is not evident today in those who rage with hatred against God and against those who are the sons of God. Thousands of people who profess (remember that profession and possession are two very different areas) to follow God have been slaughtered, and are being slaughtered daily, but the News Liars do not report on these deaths. Evil is revealed . . . evil no longer hides in the shadows but slips out of the shadows when it is beneficial for the cause of evil.

Also be fully cognizant of the methods that the Holy Spirit of God uses to teach, and to instruct, He uses all that He has written, and things that He leaves out to disclose to readers what He desires to reveal. I always feel that I must state some form of disclaimer whenever I write about the lessons in the numbers. When dealing with numbers, do not go beyond what Scripture proves. So therefore, onward . . . . how many times is the name of Jezebel mentioned in the Old Testament? Her name is seen in nineteen (19) verses for a total of twenty-two (22) times. Soooo . . . . we have the number 19 attached to the number 22. In twenty-two (22) we see the strength and emphasis of the double witness of God testifying about the number nineteen (19). What is God’s double witness of Jezebel? That her ending (9 is the conclusion which usually is in judgment) is in God’s Perfect Divine Order (10). As the ending of Jezebel in the Old Testament was the perfect ending of an evil woman, so also shall be the ending of her namesake in the New Testament. God’s double witness is the validation that what He speaks, He accomplishes.

• Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, (Isaiah 46:9) Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: (Isaiah 46:10) Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. (Isaiah 46:11)

• God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (Numbers 23:19)

There is yet much more in the message of numbers. Guess? Come on . . . guess, in what number Chapter is the end of Jezebel prophesied and her death accomplished? In Chapter 9. What a coincidence! NOT. There are no coincidences in Scripture. And in Chapter 9 of 2nd Kings how many times is Jezebel’s name recorded? SIX . . . the number of sinful man, the number of mankind in his unrepentant state. SIX . . . man’s number.

• And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel. (2nd Kings 9:7)

• And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and [there shall be] none to bury [her]. And he opened the door, and fled. (2nd Kings 9:10)

• And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, [Is it] peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts [are so] many? (2nd Kings 9:22)

• And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard [of it]; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window. (2nd Kings 9:30)

• Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This [is] the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel: (2nd Kings 9:36)

• And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; [so] that they shall not say, This [is] Jezebel. (2nd Kings 9:37)

What does the Spirit of God reveal about Jezebel in these six mentions in the 9th Chapter of 2nd Kings? She murdered the servants of God, she was a whore and the mother of whoredoms (she was the leading advocate of sexual obsession and perversion), she practiced witchcraft, she was vain, she wore her authority as a crown on her head, she was as dog dung in her life and so at her end she became dog dung. This was Jezebel in the numbers of 22, 19 (10+9) and 6. Now tell me that God’s spiritual numbering system is meaningless. But there is also another aspect concerning Jezebel that is recorded in Scripture. Now therefore send, [and] gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel’s table. (1st Kings 18:19) This was the scene were Elijah had the great face off conflict against the forces of religion — the religion of Baal. Jezebel was not merely a supporter and patron of the religion and worship of Baal, but as all extremely wealthy and influential patrons she was its leader, its public face, she called the shots, she determined its advancement, she dictated its policies, she feed the entire priesthood of eight hundred and fifty priests daily which would make her their Mother Priestess. Jezebel’s power was much more than political because through religion she captured the hearts and souls of her followers. Take all of this and connect this religion to the world’s religion at the end of the time of Gentile rule in the book of Revelation where Jezebel is seen in And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

This is one of the first questions that I asked at the beginning of this section. Why is Jezebel the first of three named in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ? Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Jezebel was deliberately seen first as planted in the church of God at its prime. (Back on page 14 there is an outline of the seven churches of which Thyatira became the political church in its prime in corruption and influence over the world and continued further into time than 590 A.D. as this corruption and influence is still with us in the Age of Laodicea.)

Four hundred plus years after the early church fathers had long departed from the world, the name of Jezebel came to the forefront. She had been in the church from its very beginnings, but as evil prefers to hide itself when it is growing in numbers and in influence it cannot show itself until it is sure of overcoming its enemies. And in Thyatira, the spirit of the Old Testament Jezebel was sure of its power, thus, Jezebel surfaced. Who is Jezebel? What began in one very religiously pagan woman, later surfaced as a very religious pagan organization under the banner of a false Christianity. (Now try and convince me that there is no similarity to how Communism has worked in your country to how Satan worked and works in the religious realm. Of course, it is similar because Satan is behind both: same tactics, and same instigator.) And this leads us into our current age in the Babylon of Revelation when religion and politics become united together. Religion and politics meld together as one force in the Age of Babylon the Great because they were one force in the first Babylon, in the land of Shinar, and in the first city of Nimrod called Babel. Religion and politics were one in the Dark Ages, and religion and politics have always been friends. But the difference in the End Times in this unification of politics and religion is its global power under one tyrant. See ‘what goes around comes around,’ however, I prefer how God the Holy Spirit stated this in Galatians 6:7, Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. What the first world rebel (Nimrod) began in Babel influenced all later governments and its rebels to attempt to successfully complete a one-world government scheme. This one-world government greatly advanced through a one-world religious organization under the influence of Jezebel IN the church and OVER the church.

We are about to venture into the time frame of Church History as disclosed in Revelation Chapters 2 in the church in Thyatira. So, it would be right for you to know something about this church of 425 A.D. – 590 A.D. Go ahead . . . read the following references, don’t be afraid, it can’t bite you . . . ! (If you had read the previous articles, you would know that the meaning of Thyatira is ‘an odor of affliction,’ in other words ‘It stinks,’ or ‘she stinks.’ This odor or aroma or atmosphere of this woman Thyatira is agony. The ambience of her presence is torture . . . . sounds like a narcissistic personality. This was not only the church in Thyatira, but Jezebel also embodied the character of the city of Thyatira that is one of the reasons why the Spirit of God attached Jezebel’s name to the church of Thyatira. Everything about this fourth church of Thyatira was and is repulsive to God. It was and continues today in sexual perverseness, it feasts on idolatry, and hides behind the hypocrisy of good works and service.) You may think that what I have just written cannot possibly describe a church or even a city such as the city of Thyatira. But there is a city where the citizens and leaders are exactly like Thyatira – narcissistically evil . . . . Washington, D.C.  Here is a medical description of narcissism: “an exaggerated sense of self-importance, persistent need for admiration, lack of empathy for others, excessive pride in achievements, and snobbish, disdainful, or patronizing attitudes.” Add witchcraft, murderess, and Jezebel on steroids. This is Washington, D.C., this was and is the church in Thyatira, and this is Jezebel IN the church then and in the world church now.

And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; (Revelation 2:18)

I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. (Revelation 2:19)

Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. (Revelation 2:20)

And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. (Revelation 2:21)

Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. (Revelation 2:22)

And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. (Revelation 2:23)

But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. (Revelation 2:24)

But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. (Revelation 2:25)

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: (Revelation 2:26)

And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. (Revelation 2:27)

And I will give him the morning star. (Revelation 2:28)

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. (Revelation 2:29)

Side Note: Time and Ruin in the Church of Jezebel. This one-world religious organization became accepted as ‘The Universal Roman Syndicate,’ alias, ‘The Roman Catholic Church.’ And to this very day, this organization is accepted and viewed by thousands and thousands as the epitome and only accepted form of Christianity. Now for any Protestants still reading this, don’t get too heady because I am about to goad your ox also. (Were all those in the church era of Romanism, or in the era of Protestantism wrong? No, but this will be followed up later in this article . . . if by the time that you get to that section you are still talking to me.)

When Martin Luther nailed his divisive religious catalyst ‘Ninety-Five Theses’ to the door at the castle church in Wittenberg 505 years ago, every aspect of this world changed, every person since then has been affected in some measure to what ensued. I will not get into the details, but I will only concentrate on some very obvious happenings due to this division within the realm of religion. Five hundred plus years is an eternity in earth time, it is almost ridiculous to write that much can happen in this span of time, because as we all know so well, much can happen in a ten-year span. Think of the history of your own country through this time span of five hundred years. The United States did not exist then, early colonization was the aim of various colonizer nations, so yes, much can happen in a five-hundred-year time frame. Why am I concentrating on this time frame? Easy . . . Thyatira 425 A.D. – 590 A.D. — more than five hundred years from the infant church of the Bible.

The church of Thyatira WAS NOT the Church of Peter, Paul, James, John, Jude and Timothy. They prophesied about it, they warned about it, they cried over it, but they never actually lived or saw the church of Thyatira in the age of its early ascendancy. Just think how far the church of our age has fallen from 1517, and from the age of 590 A.D. Although the epistles Peter, Paul, James, John are read today, these men would be thrown out of every church today if they were to appear teaching and preaching what they taught and preached in their own age. But you may say, That’s not so because we believe what they wrote, so why would they be thrown out? Here is where the Protestant Reformation went astray! I warned you that I was going to goad your ox!

Martin Luther never thought to separate from the Roman Catholic Church, his focus was on reformation of the church as he knew it, not its removal, but a reformation. He agreed with its form, ritualism, and its hierarchical system of priesthood, he disagreed with many of its teachings and man-made doctrines. Again, let me state that I am not going into specific doctrines, and theological maneuvers, or Greek and Latin language etymology because these are all irrelevant to how we should see the state and condition of the church today. The tragedy of the Protestant Reformation is that it continued to follow what it was supposed to reform. Yes, the doctrine of the just shall live by faith was (and in a FEW churches is still) upheld from its awakening in 1517, this would be the church of Philadelphia (1500 A.D. – 1700 A.D.)

I am going to skip over the church of Sardis for now, and leap forward to the era of the Protestant Reformation. But hopefully, we will backtrack to the era between Jezebel’s appearance in Thyatira to the Roman Catholic Church in its prime in the church in Sardis.

The church in Philadelphia was the open door to the truths within the word of God, and to that which is holy. Those who separated themselves from the system of the world church were led to the truths within the word of God through the Protestant Reformation are those in the church in Philadelphia. The church in Philadelphia WAS NOT the Protestant Reformation. The Philadelphia church was a movement that came out of, or developed later, from the Protestant Reformation. As you read, understand that those in the church of Philadelphia were not of a collective church, but a moving of the Spirit of God through individuals drawn to the Center and Head of the Church in Christ Jesus. As the other churches listed in Revelation Chapters 2 and 3 seem to be sequentially arranged, they also exist side by side as they all advanced together in time. This is seen in the church in Philadelphia because AND although we are in the age of Laodicea, the overcomers in Philadelphia live in the age of Laodicea, but not IN the church of Laodicea. (Read on, so that I can confuse you more!)

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; (Revelation 3:7)

I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. (Revelation 3:8)

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. (Revelation 3:9)

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10)

Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. (Revelation 3:11)

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. (Revelation 3:12)

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. (Revelation 3:13)

How did this church of Philadelphia evolve into the ruined church of Laodicea? What was the tragedy of the Protestant Reformation? When Martin Luther began to question and to search the word of God, those who also sought answers to those questions did not lay hold of WHO was at the Center. Those men of religion saw only one way to follow, they only knew of one way, they could not conceive of anything outside of their familiar settings, and in their thoughts ‘proven hierarchical structure’ of clergy and laity was the only true form of church-hood. All their religious understanding lay in the past, in the Old Testament Jewish ordinances of the Law of Moses; consequently, the Protestant Reformation also built on the past, and therefore, because they built on the foundation of that which was corrupt, the Roman Syndicate, and in doing so, they created another form of corruption. (Now that I have enraged all Roman Catholics, and all Protestants, let me not stop here.) The understanding of being followers of Christ only, did not exist outside of their accepted thoughts of following man. Man had to be the center of their religious existence. In order to be spiritually approved as ‘spiritual’ man had to be approved by other ‘spiritual’ men. What came out of the Protestant Reformation wasn’t total reformation, but another form of a Roman Syndicate, Protestant Syndication. But this time we have many syndicates, called denominations.  (Now I’ve done it, oh, oh.) Let me encourage those still reading, if there is any left still reading.

The Church of Christ, the Body of Christ is founded on The ROCK — CHRIST, and CHRIST ALONE. Neither storm nor wind can bring HIS CHURCH down.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Galatians 3:27) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28)

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: (Colossians 3:10) Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. (Colossians 3:11)

[There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; (Ephesians 4:4)

Placing dates on the various churches in the book of the Revelation is really not a smart thing to do, for many will place these dates in concrete. As my husband often reminds me that we could learn more from the wane and wax of the visible moon not merely as instructions on plant growth, but also through the cycles of waning and waxing of spiritual growth. That time plays an important part in this process of wane and wax that between each extreme there are small transitions that lead to the other extreme. And whenever we are dealing with a newborn Christian, or an old born Christian we have to always keep in mind where they are in their Christian cycle. Some take longer than others to develop in their growth and to act on their knowledge of the holy according to the measure of their faith.

Throughout each of the seven churches in the book of the Revelation there are and were Christians often left by the wayside in our understanding because many in the visible church see them as nothing. These are the Overcomers. In every Church age there were Overcomers. (This is a continuation of what I previously write about the Philadelphia Church.) ♦ End of Side Note of Time and Ruin in the church of Jezebel.

Side Note of a Side Note: The Overcomers have been in every church since the first church of Ephesus.

EPHESUS –  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. (Revelation 2:7)

SMYRNA – He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. (Revelation 2:11)

PERGAMOS – He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [it]. (Revelation 2:17)

THYATIRA – And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: (Revelation 2:26)

SARDIA – He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. (Revelation 3:5)

PHILADELPHIA – Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new name. (Revelation 3:12)

LAODICEA – To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (Revelation 3:21)

Just in case you have continued reading up to this point of this article in spite of your anger that I have written things contrary to the Roman Catholic Church, the Protestant church, and to denominationalism, I offer these thoughts to you. Within EVERY church, regardless of its spiritual state and condition, and regardless of its corruption and evilness, God through His mercy, informs us of OVERCOMERS. They overcame the system that they were in, they OVERCAME the evil that surrounded them, and surrounds them. They OVERCAME. And there are still today OVERCOMERS.

The wordovercomethis recorded only in the New Testament, and of the ten (10) times that it is mentioned, seven refer to each of the seven churches. Every church from Ephesus to Laodicea had and has OVERCOMERS.

In the epistle of 1st John, Chapter 5, verses 4 and 5 the OVERCOMER is victorious. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith. (1st John 5:4) Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? (1st John 5:5) Notice that three (3) times victory over the world is mentioned. The world came into the church at its very beginning. The world with all of its pretensions of godliness in its delusions of self-righteousness and unrepentant state of sin never ceases to attempt to gain ground into every sphere of Christian spirituality. But understand, beloved, and know that He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (Revelation 21:7) God did not leave the overcomer outside of His grace and mercy throughout the ages of church history. No matter how low the church fell and continues to fall in sin and pride and worldly power and fame . . . . God has given the victory to the OVERCOMERS. ♦ End of Side Note of a Side Note.

Back to this first question that I asked at the beginning of this article. What began with Jezebel and all of her acts of wickedness, witchcraft, sexual perversions and murders were brought into the church until at its apex in the age of Laodicea ends with the church being spewed out of the mouth of Christ. The professing church is good for nothing and becomes a place that the Spirit of God can no longer tolerate. As Israel fell in its rejection of God, so also the church fell away from Christ as the Head of His own church in its rejection of the Spirit of Christ. The message of sin and how sin eats away at everything that it touches is the story of man that in man is no-good thing. Man is good for nothing, his religion is good for nothing, his society is good for nothing, his goodness is good for nothing.

This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing. (Jeremiah 13:10)

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. (Matthew 5:13)

It is the OVERCOMER who overcomes the world who fellowships with Christ. It is the OVERCOMER who overcomes the world within the visible church who fellowships with Christ. There is only ONE CHURCH and THAT IS CHRIST ONLY.

The Spirit of God began with Jezebel in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ through the introduction of the first of the three women written in this book because Jezebel contains the seeds of evil, and its growth until the spirit of Jezebel swallowed up the professing church, until there was nothing left in it that even resembles true Christianity. MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH is the heart, spirit and soulless work of Baal (Satan), through a woman, a mother, a harlot, a priestess at work. As we get to this section of MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH we will be writing about motherhood and harlots at the end times. But, for now, Jezebel exemplified how motherhood is used to train daughters to become whores and harlots. Tell me, have you not heard and seen the vileness spewing out of the mouths of young women, and mothers, demanding what they claim to be their right as a woman and as a mother to kill their own children before birth, during birth, at birth, and AFTER birth? They are proud of their promiscuity; they unhesitatingly and vehemently defend their wanton sexual acts. They are liars and haters of men because they want to rule OVER man, any man, and every man. (This is the culmination of the Eve syndrome.) THIS WAS JEZEBEL and THIS IS JEZEBEL.

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH  not only found a home in the church, but every form of religion (pagan and Christianity) was her breeding ground as Jezebel of the Old Testament exemplified. Therefore, God enforced this spiritual truth to us through the first woman mentioned in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Remember that the oldest historical book of Job instructs us that when the sons of God came to worship God that Satan came among them, he was in their midst. In any form or point of worship Satan will be there. (Religion is not Christianity and Christianity is not a religion. I have written many times of the differences between Christianity and religion. Christianity is revelation, it is regeneration, and it is relationship.) Satan is a religious creature. Scripture informs us of this in Isaiah 14:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:13-15. Whenever and wherever a visible collective church opens its door, the first one through the door will be Satan.

We are at page 34 in this article, and yet, there is much more that can be written, but as with all things, that is with all good things, we should end this article at this point. I know that this was a difficult article to digest for many, and I pray that you would take all that has been written (especially the points that you hated) and pray over any of the points that you wish you had not read. However, if you are still here with me, congratulations, you must have a strong pain level of tolerance.

The next article to follow will be on the second woman mentioned in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. However, I will leave open the option to return to Jezebel whenever I feel led to do so.
