Men of Renown – Part xxii – The Last Great Mystery Continues in the Second Woman –

Men of Renown

Part xxii

The Last Great Mystery

Continues in the Second Woman

in the book of the Revelation

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)

This series called Men of Renown will always begin with these verses in Chapter 6 of the book of Genesis because it is the perfect scene setter for whatever and whoever follows that enables men of renown to act in conflict against God and His Word. Genesis 6 verses 4 and 5 are an accurate definition of men of renown.

The phrase ‘men of renown’ occurs in the Bible only two times. The second and last mention can be found in the 4th book of the Pentateuch in the book of Numbers, Chapter 16. This last mention of ‘men of renown’ goes beyond the definition of men of renown and expands what ‘men of renown’ are not only capable of, but what lurks in the inner most recesses of their thoughts.

Again, I can only emphasis that if this your first time to venture into this series, and the first time to read of Nimrod or Babylon it will help you to stay up with the rest of the readers of this series if you click on the following click links. CLICK here for the 1st of the series on Nimrod. How did we get from the book of Genesis to the book of the Revelation through the springboard of Nimrod? Easy . . . Nimrod led us to Babel, then Babel led us to Babylon, then Babylon led us to Revelation. There’s the connection, and in Revelation we have the instigator of all evil: Lucifer/the great red dragon/Satan. From a previous study I had written: Through this study of Nimrod, we will journey into the prophecies of the book of Daniel and tie the book of Genesis and the book of Daniel to the last Nimrod revealed in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

And perchance, if you don’t want to follow my suggestion, then at least, click on this link for the previous article that is essential for you to understand what this current article is all about. I can only try to lead you to the trough, not that I am calling you a horse or anything like that mind you, but if you are like me and do not take directions well, then at least I tried.

— The Last Great Mystery Continues —

  4. The Seen Enemies of God’s Nation

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. (Revelation 12:4)

If you did not read the previous article then this is what you missed: what enraged Lucifer to the point of madness that he declared war against God; the patterns in God’s realm; principalities, powers and rulers in the spiritual realm; the pattern by which the tabernacle on earth was built from that which is in heaven; the pattern of the first temple on earth; the substance of the True Pattern in heaven, and the Heads – the Horns – and the Crowns. That is what you missed.

Although our study will be Revelation 12:4, it is still all based on Revelation 12:3, And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. Lucifer envied the Son of God (the Lord Jesus) the High Priest of God (Melchisedec) having the preeminence in the holy realm of God. Lucifer could not stand to be merely a proclaimer of God’s holiness and righteousness, he desired to be the object of worship not a proclaimer of worship, but that is what angels are, angels are messengers, proclaimers, announcers, criers, and heralds of GOD’s holiness and righteousness. Displaying the glory of the Godhead on his being became too much for Lucifer to bear. Lucifer’s high position and rank were not enough to satisfy his desire to be worshiped. The sin and fall of this covering cherub are rooted in the symbolism of the seven heads, the ten horns, and the seven crowns. From this point onward into time and space, what the seven heads, ten horns and seven crowns symbolize becomes a self-destructive obsession with this demented cherub.

In the book of Ezekiel, Chapter 28:12, the Lord said this about Lucifer, Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Lucifer was the epitome of beauty and wisdom, although Scripture informs us that angels cannot die, Scripture also informs us that beauty and wisdom (a gift from God) can fade and cease forever. The wisest man ever to exist on this globe, Solomon, was most probably also very handsome, but that is my opinion based on the following scriptures: David was called comely in 2nd Samuel 11:2, and Bathsheba, Solomon’s mother was called beautiful in 1st Samuel 16:18; therefore, I am quite safe in writing that most probably Solomon was both wise and beautiful. How does this connect to Lucifer and his wisdom and beauty? Solomon’s end was a tragic end, he had failed to be faithful to God, he had burdened his people with excessive taxation, using strong arm tactics against the nation in his attempt to draw more goods and land from them. The kingdom of Israel divided into two separate nations because of Solomon’s wayward heart. (It takes a LOT of money to keep seven hundred wives’ content in the lifestyle that they had become accustomed to as princesses, and now as trophy wives. His three hundred concubines, however, may have been very content with adolescent Tik-Tok games. In total, just their clothing and shoe allotment must have been an enormous burden on the people of Israel.) And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart. (1Kings 11:3) Although this rift and division of Israel occurred under Solomon’s son Rehoboam, it was ALL because of Solomon’s policies of intolerable taxation policies and seizure of goods and lands. (Y’all know what tyranny is . . . right? If you don’t today, you will tomorrow!)

Back to Lucifer. . . . Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Outside of and disobedience to God’s authority, wisdom becomes madness, and beauty becomes beastly. Madness transformed Lucifer’s beauty into an image of a beast, a red dragon. (Have you ever seen pictures of some poor person before drugs and after drugs have eaten away their minds and bodies? They become outwardly a visibly tortured person reflecting the tortured soul within.) From wisdom to foolishness, to ignorance, to a beast can be a short and quick journey of devolution. I am taking the following verse out of context, but I find it fits perfectly here at this point in this article. So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee. (Psalm 73:22) And those who use their beauty for fame, wealth and power cannot deal with the effects of age for they do not age well. Beauty can be a difficult, dangerous and deadly gift. (I make this statement from observation not from experience.)

Side Note: Wisdom and Beauty. These two words in the same verse are documented three times in the Bible. All refer to Lucifer/Satan.

Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.(Ezekiel 28:7)

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. (Ezekiel 28:12)

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. (Ezekiel 28:17) ♦ End of Side Note. Wisdom and Beauty.

3. The Seen and Unseen United Adversaries of God’s Nation

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. (Revelation 12:3)

4. The Seen Enemies of God’s Nation

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.  (Revelation 12:4)

We are going to plant the left side of our brains on Revelation 12:3, and the right side of our brains on Revelation 12:4, but instead of being guided by a divided brain, we will seek guidance from the Spirit of God. He never fails to guide where HE wants us to go. Having written about the left side and right side of our brains, all I really want you to understand is that we will be dealing with two distinct issues . . . . well, maybe there will be a few more issues involved. In order to comprehend more of the tactics of the great red dragon against the nation of God’s choosing, the nation of Israel, we will bounce (bounce may not be a good word here) maybe we will move with purpose between the target of the great red dragon, and the objective of this dragon.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.(Isaiah 9:6) At the moment of Israel’s giving birth to her child, her Savior, her Redeemer, and her King from the tribe of Judah, the Lord Jesus Christ, the ground had already been prepared by Lucifer/Satan. Christ was born at NIGHT setting the spiritual condition and the political and religious scene as the world was saturated with spiritual darkness. It took God’s adversary thousands of years to remove God’s true word from His nation and replace it with a political and secularized form of ceremonial religionism. It took God’s enemy thousands of years replacing the well of God’s word with the dragon’s pool of paganism. As in the days of Noah, so also the world had become overcome with evil imaginations and wickedness.

At the time of the Lord’s birth, the greatest tyranny ruled over the known world, and that was Rome. The greatness of Rome was not merely in its iron strength of domination over all it sought to enslave under its rule of the symbol of the eagle, but its greatness was made greater through its extensive time period of global power. Rome’s influence foundationally formed the nations that we know today as the European nations, and England, and consequently the United States of America. Therefore, pagan Rome thrives today as richly as it had in its past glories. For example, the Capitol city of the United States: Washington, D.C., its buildings and monuments are Roman in design. This city, unlike the majority of cities, was planned and designed before it became an actual city, and its former law, formerly known as the Constitution and the Bill of Rights was designed by men influenced by Roman law. The United States, as a nation, hasn’t even been able to maintain its national existence in oneness before and since the coup in the late evening of 11/3/2020.

and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.  (Revelation 12:4)

In the Old Testament, especially in the prophetic book of Daniel, there have been many kingdoms which fought against Israel (the united twelve tribes) and Israel (the ten tribes) and Judah (two tribes.) However, remember that Satan’s target HAS ALWAYS BEEN the nation of Israel from its supernatural birth in one day in the furnace of Egypt.

Don’t become immersed in world history seeking to understand the powers that will rule at the end of the world but focus on the nations in the Middle East as the nations that will have power at the end of man’s history on earth. The Bible is an Eastern book, with Eastern thought, and Eastern manners and concepts. Those who do not understand prophecy, nor biblical history, try to force nations outside of the Eastern scope into Bible prophecy. Although many nations outside of the Eastern culture have influenced the course of global events, these nations however, do not and will not have primary roles in Bible prophecy at the end. England, European nations, and the United States have been used by God (notice that I wrote ‘used by God,’ and not ‘used for God’) many times in Satan’s battle over Israel, so much so, that these same nations deeply believe that nothing can move on this planet outside of their hidden political maneuvering and evil manipulations. If you want to know who the players will be at the end, then go to the beginning. Want to know about the last war on earth, then go to the first war on earth. (We have already written about this first war.) Want to know what kingdom and king will rule on earth at the end, then go to the first kingdom and first king on earth. (There are many articles previously posted on these subjects.) It is a good thing to know the history of nations, but it is a better thing to know the history within the Bible. Want to know what happens at The End, then begin at The Beginning. That is why this series always begins with the first book of Genesis. To know the end, one MUST know the beginning.

and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.  (Revelation 12:4)

At the birth of Christ, Caesar Augustus ruled over most of the accessible world, and Herod the Great ruled over Galilee and Israel. At the Lord’s death on the cross, Caesar Tiberius ruled over the known world. Christ was sent by the determinate counsels of God to earth at the exact time, the fulness of time, the time when His land had become a bargaining chip in the game of political merchandising of lands, nations and peoples. (You should know about land merchandising: that is when the powerful deal away territories between themselves to gain more power. Nations become but mere property spaces on a monopoly board. And don’t dare say that you do not know that this has happened in our recent past, and it continues today around the globe. When a nation falls it is because someone purchased that nation.)

Christ was sent to earth at God’s perfect time when His land was sonless and without hope, having no evidence of life where only a few individuals, as Simeon and Anna, and Zachariah and Elizabeth, believed in His promises and prophecies.  But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law. (Galatians 4:4) Why do you think that God particularly chose night for Christ to be born? He was born in darkness, and He died in darkness. He brought light and life into a dark and dying world, and He was rejected by His own creation, therefore, the word of God is true. The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. (Matthew 4:16) And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:5) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:19)

He was rejected before His birth, for there was no room for Him at the inn. He was rejected and hunted after His birth and had to flee into Egypt to escape from the madman called Herod the Great. (Many rulers have been insane, ever wonder why the mentally challenged have an inordinate desire to rule and to become politicians? Maybe, just maybe, it is because Satan who rules over these people is himself insane with rage and hatred against God and His people. Somehow it is no coincidence that politics and insanity comfortably exist together . . . . look at our current rulers and tell me that I am wrong.)

As soon as He was born, the spiritual world became energized in their hatred against God to destroy the One who was sent down from God. Finally, Lucifer/Satan thought he had Him. Deliriously drooling over the opportunity of finally overcoming God, NOW IN THE FLESH, since previously in Satan’s first estate, as a covering cherub, he failed to overcome the Lord Jesus Christ in the heavens; consequently, the devil pounced on this opportunity to slay this infant child by Roman sword. However, once again, Satan had unwisely underestimated his Creator God, and did not realize that this infant was just not another infant in the likeness of an infant of Adam, but from the womb of Mary, He was that holy thing. He was not of Adam. Mary was a young woman born from the earth, a product of Adam, but this Seed within her was Supernatural, not of this earth. He was Emmanuel, GOD WITH US. Paranoid Herod could not allow a King to rise up out of a people called Israel, ‘A Prince with God.’ In Israel’s prophetic history there were many crimes committed against Israel, but never one as the one committed against the male children and infants of Bethlehem. How could those Roman soldiers ever sleep peacefully again with the memories of that great slaughter of infants? They had been trained to stand against warriors holding weapons of assault, however, under orders from a madman, those brave and fearless Roman soldiers fought brilliantly against babies. There were no medals of bravery and courage given to those soldiers celebrating their victory over dangerous babies on that dark day. Mankind knows no limits in his willingness to commit wrong! Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, [and] bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they [were] not. (Jeremiah 31:15)

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. (Matthew 2:16))

Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, (Matthew 2:17))

In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not. (Matthew 2:18))

But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, (Matthew 2:19))

Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life. (Matthew 2:20)

And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel. (Matthew 2:21)

But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: (Matthew 2:22)

And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.  (Matthew 2:23)

Satan had very early in the history of mankind discovered a willing helper and ally in those who rule over others: politicians, kings, emperors, presidents, and czars. For in these individuals of prominence their hearts beat to the sound of war drums. A fact: Satan is the originator of population control. Fact: Satan is the originator of mass psychosis. Fact: Satan is the originator of using emotionalism to advance political wars. Follow all of these points to their beginning, and guess who will be there?

Side Note: Why do we have wars? Why must mankind fight against himself? Why do rulers fear their own people? Why is peace so elusive? These are just a few questions that many have not been able to answer. Don’t you find it strange that those who say that there is no God have no difficulty in blaming God for what they themselves fail to understand? In the book of James, Chapter 4 (the earth number), verses 1 thru 5 states the cause of war among the people of the earth.

From whence [come] wars and fightings among you? [come they] not hence, [even] of your lusts that war in your members? (James 4:1)

Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. (James 4:2)

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. (James 4:3)

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (James 4:4)

Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? (James 4:5)

∼

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)

This is what mankind refuses to see. This is what mankind rejects that within every person is the DNA of sin. Remember, in order to understand the result one must understand the beginning or the cause. This is one of the reasons why this series always begins with Genesis 6:5 because the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Just recently a woman said to me, Well, we are not perfect, you know. We are sinners. She never went on. She never followed this truth to its beginning. She stopped at ‘we‘ and never completed this thought with ‘me,’ or ‘I am a sinner.’ This is always said as an excuse, not as a reason. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. (James 4:3) How do we ask amiss? We rarely seek to know more about sin. Why are we sinners? How can sin be overcome? This is not a distraction from this article, it is adding to this article because SIN is the enemy of God. And since SIN is the enemy of God, and ALL are sinners, then ALL are enemies of God. And since ALL sinners are enemies of God, then ALL sinners are allies of God’s enemy Satan. Keeping this principle in mind, that ALL are enemies of God. ♦ End of Side Note: Why do we have wars?

Let us continue on with this article concerning the second woman (Israel) mentioned in the book of Revelation Chapter 12. Although Christ has always been and is the main target of Satan, the nation that was created to be set aside as priests for God has also always been in the cross hairs of Satan’s arrows of death and destruction even before their birth as a nation.

5.  The Messiah Savior of God’s Nation

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. (Revelation 12:5)

What a profound sentence, no one of the human race could have written this sentence that spanned history and eternity in a few words without the voice of the Holy Spirit of God guiding the pen. From the nation of Israel, and from the tribe of Judah came a man child who was proclaimed by Jehovah God to be the sovereign Ruler over ALL nations.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. (Isaiah 9:7)

Within this verse of Revelation 12:5, we not only have the birth of the promised and prophesied Messiah, but we have His millennial reign, His death, and His identification as God on His throne. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. (Revelation 12:5) Also note the rejection in this phrase, who was to rule, He was to rule only if His nation had received Him as their Messiah. And also, in this same phrase we have the promise and prophecy of His sure rule. A rod of iron is the method by which Christ will bring peace and unity to this earth. Isn’t the phrase rod of iron a phrase denoting enslavement? No, it is a phrase of judgment. When Christ rules on His throne on earth, it will be to establish it with judgment and with justice. However, every time that an earthly ruler has reigned it has also been with the force and strength of the iron of slavery. See the distinction and difference of a rod of iron in the hand of God’s Christ, and the rod of iron in the hand of a man of the earth.

Side Note: Rod of iron. This phrase a rod of iron is only recorded four times in Scripture. Four, of course, is the earth number. Adam, all of mankind, has proven that he can neither rule himself, nor rule with judgment and with justice over others. THIS IS A FACT! Those who have set themselves up as rulers today are not only incapable of ruling, but they lack the necessary skills needed in common sense. Four times this phrase a rod of iron is used to show the strength (iron) in the hand of our Creator in judgment and righteous justice when dealing with His creatures, who are His creations. The nations of this world need the strong arm of God in judgment and justice to bring order into their understanding. Thus, the number four anda rod of iron‘ are tied together because mankind is born as a wild ass’s colt. (Job 11:12a) Mankind, in sin, is the offspring, or colt of the first man to sin, Adam; consequently, man needs the strong arm of the Lord.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. (Psalm 2:9)

And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. (Revelation 2:27)

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and [to] his throne. (Revelation 12:5)

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. (Revelation 19:15) ♦ End of Side Note: Rod of iron

Let’s take this verse and examine it closely: And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. (Revelation 12:5)

• And she brought forth a man child. A man child. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given (Isaiah 9:6) A son is given. Why are we stopping here? We have stopped because this has become another point of attack against God and His Christ. Lucifer/Satan has used every word in Scripture as a specific object to challenge God’s truth. God formed His written word around the understanding of malehood. Oh, oh, I just made up a word, oh dear me, am I in trouble now with the feminists of femalehood! God created two beings, the first was a male, and the second was formed from the first created being, that was a female. Scripture leaves no doubt of God placing Himself as a Father (MALE) over His creation. I am drawing attention to a man child to simply show you how petty Lucifer/Satan’s lies are. God is not female. GOD IS SPIRIT! The Godhead is not of the earth. The Godhead bodily is of the Supernatural spiritual realm of God who is Spirit. The Spirit of God wrote His written word using spiritual concepts through earthly words, terms, and phrases, Fatherhood being one of these concepts. The sorry mess that calls themselves ‘feminists’ are very angry narcissistic women who are miserable in their imperfect bodies controlled by their wild imaginations of being unworshipped goddesses.

• and her child. Israel is always denoted as female: her, and she. Do you really not know why? The Spirit of God wrote of His faithfulness to Israel because of Israel’s unfaithfulness to Him; thus, Israel is seen as an adulterous woman. The following verses disclose God’s love for His people, His backsliding children. Israel broke God’s heart many times. Consider God’s heart in this verse from the book of Jeremiah 13:17, But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD’S flock is carried away captive. Although these words were penned by the prophet Jeremiah, these words disclose God’s heart for His adulterous nation. Jeremiah is often called the weeping prophet, but it was more than Jeremiah who wept, it was God Himself who wept over His beloved nation. God had and has a marriage love relationship with Israel as a loving Husband to His people. (Jeremiah 3:14; 31:32; Hosea 2:19-23)

• and her child was caught up unto God. The Spirit of God is a thesaurus, and yet He chose the words caught and caught up. Always go to the first mention of a word and follow it to the last mention. The first mention of the word caught is in Genesis 22:13, And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind [him] a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. Everything in this verse speaks of the greatest sacrifice by the greatest Sacrificer, the Lord Jesus Christ. Abraham LIFTED UP his eyes (into the heavens) and looked and behold BEHIND him (coming behind him in time) would be a RAM (a MALE SHEEP, a MATURE MALE LAMB) caught in a thicket (thorns of sin wearing a crown of thorns) by his horns (POWER and AUTHORITY). Then the verse continued on with the action of Abraham (as a father, symbolizing God the Father) took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering. This was God’s part in offering His Son as a burnt offering for the sin of the world. This act of Abraham was a joint action by both father and son. Isaac never fought against Abraham there on one of the mountains of Moriah. Isaac never questioned Abraham over what Abraham was about to do. The only question that Isaac asked was but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? Also note that this phrase both of them together is mentioned TWICE in Genesis 22, thus denoting the witness and testimony of truth. As both Abraham and Isaac were joined together in this sacrificial act on Mount Moriah, so God the Father, and God the Son were joined together in their sacrificial act on the cross at Calvary that was planted on the ground of Mount Moriah.

And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. (Genesis 22:5)

And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. (Genesis 22:6)

And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? (Genesis 22:7)

And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. (Genesis 22:8)

The very first time that the word caught is recorded, it is found in a place of sacrifice. And the last mention is found in our study verse in Revelation 12:5. Coincidence? There is no such thing as coincidence in the word of God. Therefore, this phrase and her child was caught up unto God in Revelation 12:5 point to the cross of Calvary. And just in case you have missed this point of the word caught pointing to the cross of Christ, let us follow the phrase caught up. This phrase is only recorded four times in the Bible. To sum this up: caught up to the third heaven (2nd Corinthians 12:2), caught up into paradise (2nd Corinthians 12:4), caught up together with them in the clouds (1st Thessalonians 4:17), and her child was caught up unto God (Revelation 12:5).

Side Note: Why did Abraham believe in resurrection? Why was Abraham so sure that he and Isaac would both return, and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. (Genesis 22:5) The book of Hebrews in the New Testament presents Abraham as having knowledge of the resurrection. By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, (Hebrews 11:17) Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: (Hebrews 11:18) Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. (Hebrews 11:19)

The answer to the question of Why did Abraham believe in resurrection? is simply because Abraham not only met the Lord Jesus Christ in His divine position of High Priest of God as Melchisedec, but Abraham sat with Him and communed with Him when Christ (Melchisedec) offered bread and wine at this monumental meeting documented in Genesis Chapter 14, verses 18 and 19. And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth. Abraham took the cup from the unscarred hands of the High Priest of God looking forward to that day when Christ with scarred hands would offer His divine pure blood to redeem man from sin.

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; (Matthew 26:27) For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Matthew 26:28)

Abraham took the bread from the hands of the High Priest of God knowing that this One who brought the bread was the Bread of life. Abraham, the friend of God, was shown this great mystery of redemption from the Redeemer Himself. And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. (Matthew 26:26)

The servants of God in the Old Testament knew much more about God then we realize. Somehow in our minds we think that because technology is more advanced from ages past, that the ancients lacked ‘smarts.’ Sadly, we of the age of IT (Information Technology) lack ‘smarts.’ When did math begin? When did geometry emerge? How did the ancients survive without Tik Tok? The global community is about to experience the truth that the majority lack the skills necessary to survive another plandemic, and a systemized starvation, and a contrived removal of abundance where all (except those of the better class) will be equally impoverished. Those of the Old Testament saints understood the trial of faith, and because of their belief in Jehovah God, they knew that spiritual blessings awaited them in heavenly places.

God did not keep secrets from Moses or from Abraham. Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7) There is a wonderful message in Song of Songs, Chapter 2, verse 14 that reveals God’s love through Christ to His loved ones. O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely. Read this as an expression of love from God to His dove (His proclaimer of peace, the Prince of peace). The Holy Spirit of God sets the place of the Prince of peace, the dove, as secure in the clefts of the rock because He is the Rock, and that Christ can be found in the secret places of the stairs. The stairs, the steps, the way upward, the ladder that leads into the secret places of God is available to all who desire to know more of the secret places of God. The mysteries of God are not mysteries to those who see the One who stands at the top of the stairs. And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. (Genesis 28:12) And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; (Genesis 28:13) At every step up in the stairway to heaven He reveals another secret, and then another step upward and there is another secret disclosed.

As Jacob saw who was at the top of the stairs, so, we also see Him. We see His face, and we hear His voice. I and [my] Father are one. (John 10:30) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:(John 10:27) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20)

Abraham believed God, and look what God revealed to Him. ♦ End of Side Note. Why did Abraham believe in resurrection?

• and to his throne. This last phrase of Revelation 12:5, profoundly proclaims that this man child, this ruler, this crucified child of Israel IS GOD! And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. IT IS THE THRONE OF GOD. There is only one throne sitter and that is Christ. To those who erroneous state that Christ never said that He was God. Here are some verses that refute your claim. (John 18:36)

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. (John 18:36)

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king.  To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. (John 18:37)

There are those who believe themselves to be kings without kingdoms: men of excessive wealth, movers of influence and manipulators of mind and wallet control. There are also those who have kingly power with kingdoms, however, these leeches all have one thing in common: they will all die. They can neither stop death, nor manipulate or control death. There has only been one who has the power over sin and death, and that was and is the Lord Jesus Christ because His Kingdom is not of this world. Three times, at His trial before Pilate, Christ claimed that He was a King for He had a kingdom. Only One can make this claim and that is GOD.

Christ also spoke of His power over death. No one of the human race has ever had power over death, although many have tried to have themselves preserved through eugenics or immortalized in marble. Eternal life is the greatest need and desire of mankind, yet death is his end. The wealthiest cannot purchase life, the most intellectual cannot understand life, and the most preeminent religious entity cannot continue life because ALL die. Life, the life of Adam, the life of the race of man will end in death. Yet, God offers life everlasting to His creatures, but His offer is based on the one thing that man finds repulsive: faith. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: (Ephesians 2:8)

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:10) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (Romans 10:11)

These words of Christ are documented in the gospel of John 6:47, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Only GOD has the power of eternal life. Only GOD can give everlasting life. There is only one GOD and one Savior, Jesus Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:9) The Jews at the time of God KNEW that He claimed to be God.  Read the gospel of John 10:33, The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. They knew, and yet many do not know today. They know today, they just refuse to accept the truth.

This completes And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. (Revelation 12:5) Although I wrote that this completes Revelation 12:5, it really doesn’t because the word of God is a universe of learning and there is always so much more to see because every verse contains a galaxy of truth.

6. The Supernatural Escape of God’s Nation

And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.  (Revelation 12:6)

This is the last section of our film Trailer before we grab some popcorn (or maybe an aspirin) and watch the coming thrilling Feature film. However, this is the 17th page of this article, but thankfully, for those who are insomniacs, I am positive that if you continue reading, that this article will help you to overcome your insomnia . . . Guaranteed!

As the apostle John wrote these words from the Spirit of God, he believed although he did not totally comprehend its scope and dimension. We can also say this of ourselves. More than two thousand years ago, this was a prophetic event, and at this moment in time it is still prophetic, however, we are so close to this event happening that we, those who believe the truths within the word of God, have a keener comprehension of Israel’s survival battle.

I cannot write this enough since Satan’s main target has always been Christ. However, his earthly target has always been and will always be (until Satan is defeated) the nation of Israel. I know that there are those who hate the nation Israel with an intense hatred, and there are those who hate all who are Jews, and I have written much previously about this topic, nevertheless, whether your hatred is grounded on facts or emotions. GOD DOESN’T CARE HOW YOUR OPINIONS! Soooo, get over it! The Bible is really not about your opinion or how you feel about politics, or how you think God should act. The Bible is about God. The Bible is about Christ. The Bible is about God’s plan of redemption and man’s need of redemption. The Bible is about SIN. The Bible is about how God plans to judge sin. So, basically the Bible really does not take in your opinions in guiding God in His will and purposes. I know that many would like me to write more about how great YOU are, well, correction . . . many would like me to write. Well, we are now up to page 18.

And the woman fled into the wilderness

Remember that this article began many articles past about this woman, Israel, being the second woman mentioned in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. And she has to flee for her survival! But where to? Survival has always been Israel’s objective as a nation among enemies.  The Feature Film part of this article will have much more about this event, therefore, we should focus on Israel’s history and her reason to flee. Israel was born in one day in the iron furnace of Egypt, she was given a constitution of Law and ordinances at the base of Mount Sinai, she became an active moving community struggling in the wilderness to survive while God honed her people as skilled warriors, and gifted craftsmen, preparing them as a cohesive unit to face the challenges that lay before them; consequently, this community became a nation prepared to occupy a land, a land of promise, and a land waiting for its rightful owners to once again lay claim to what was once their inheritance.

But, at every turn, the enemy was there from the giants of Og to Balaam, from Balaam to Israel’s own brothers in Esau and Ishmael. The enemies never stopped, they kept coming, from the offspring of Lot in Moab and Ammon, and added to these enemies were the six sons of Abraham and Keturah, with Midian the father of the Midianites the avowed enemies of Israel. You would think that these tribes that sprang from Abraham, and indirectly through Abraham by Lot, would have been enough to overcome any small nation, but NO, Satan didn’t stop the assault against God’s people. The giants in the land, the blood tribes from Abraham, and the Gentile nations that surrounded Israel were ALL enemies. Then Satan added to this the infiltration of nomads in mixed marriages with Israel, and this was so successful that Israel almost lost its language, and eventually, the original Hebrew language is now considered a lost language.

Satan swallowed up all that united Israel as a nation. Satan corrupted the blood line of the people, he corrupted their language, he corrupted their priesthood and their worship center Jerusalem. Then trying to stop the birth of the promised Messiah, Satan attempted to annihilate the dynastic line of David many times. However, God always thwarted Satan’s end goal which was to annihilate Israel to prevent the Messiah from taking His place on the throne of Israel. Athaliah, Jezebel’s daughter, (was the only queen that ever ruled over Israel) slew ALL of the royal blood line of David except for one child who was hidden for six years by the priest Jehoiada. This is a very simple summary of what Israel faced from the pages of Scripture. But the story did not end there with Israel’s failure, nor did the story end when Israel (or part of Israel) returned from captivity in Babylon and attempted to rebuild on its ruined ashes.

Skipping over centuries and millenniums, Israel, as a nation ceased to exist as she was scattered into the winds of the earth when Rome destroyed Jerusalem in 70 A.D. At that point in time, I envision Satan boldly waving his flag of victory over the ruins of Jerusalem and Israel which was once a great and powerful nation under Solomon, but now was only a memory of past glory.

Satan thought he had won the war, but he had only won a battle in the war. He had dispersed a nation, but that wasn’t enough, he had to annihilation every Jew. Satan had removed the people of Israel from their land, and he had destroyed their nation. Satan is a workaholic, consequently, he had arranged the perfect time, and formed the prime opportunity to kill every Jew on this planet. Satan’s ultimate weapon of war and destruction was Adolph Hitler. This deranged paper hanger, became Satan’s polished political ploy to destroy every Jew in Germany. Hitler’s scheme and Satan’s scheme was the same scheme, to become emperor over every nation and thereby, everyone who disagreed or dissented to his madness would be annihilated. They (Hitler and Satan united) came so close, so very close to achieving Israel’s total removal from this planet. Always keep in mind the bigger picture. Regarding all Jew haters of the past and of the present: they are all but little paper hangers and friends of Satan, they neither see, nor comprehend their role in this war of the bigger picture.

Side Note: Interesting Names of the Enemies of Israel. This little side note means very nothing, it is just a minor point of interest. Write all the names that you know from current events who have been active (actual war) enemies of Israel, or who are today implementing national policies to destroy Israel. Count the letters in their names, many names will total just five letters, some six and others seven. However, Adolph Hitler’s two names totals six letters in his first name and six letters in his last name: 6 – 6. He was a double six not a triple six as the man of sin is known as 6 – 6 – 6. Hitler was a type of the man of sin or the antichrist, but he fell short of being the capstone of the first world ruler in Nimrod, and the culmination of evil in last man world ruler. the antichrist.

This all really means nothing, but just to see the hidden unseen aspects of Satan’s movements behind the red curtain of the land of imagination. You see, Satan operates behind an iron curtain, safe in the fallacy of his non-existence, he doesn’t want to come out of his closet yet, until the whole world has been properly prepared to joyfully and whole heartedly accept him. This alone should make you aware that we are very close to the time of . . . And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. (Revelation 12:6) Now I am going to rub an eraser into my own side note. The names of the enemies of Israel in the age of the Old Testament were not five and six letter names: for example, Tiglathpileser, Shalmaneser, Sennacherib, and Nebuchadrezzar. (These names will again appear in our study of Israel, but not just now, and there is a reason why the biblical names were long, and our current names are mostly shorter in comparison.) ♦ End of Side Note of Unimportant Names of the Enemies of Israel.

Why will Israel flee into the wilderness? . . . And the woman fled into the wilderness . . . Although Israel was a nation under God, created by God, and formed by God and led by her first leader, Moses, she became as other nations when she rebelled against God and chose to be led by a man (Saul, the first king) rather than to be led by God. However, from that point onward she became a nation in the eyes of man because she was as other nations under the control of kings. And because despots ruled, she became as other pagan nations and having been willing captives to serve the idols of imaginations, God dispersed His people and made them unwilling captives of their enemies. That marked the beginning of a people without a nation, although many returned to the land to rebuild, they never regained a national position until 1948. For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and [without] teraphim. (Hosea 3:4)

Having been dispersed in 70 A. D. by Rome, Israel became a nation in forced exile without a land, a people as fading leaves on a dead tree separated from the nourishment of its roots until May 14th, 1948, when she was proclaimed a sovereign independent nation by David Ben-Gurion, the first premier of Israel. I have skipped over the Babylonian captivity, the Greek invasion, the Roman invasion and the time of the Maccabees, the Ottoman Empire, the European and German Holocaust, and Britain’s conflict (The Balfour Declaration) with Israel. Two thousand years of constant conflict lay between Israel as a powerful throne and Israel as the battered and scarred survivor. It was two thousand years of a nation in exile . . . without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and [without] teraphim.

After two thousand years she was finally back in part of her own land. Satan shifted tactics once again, and Israel had to battle for every inch of her own land over and over. As she once fought against the first giants in the land with Og, she again faced the same giants. Remember the Six-Day War in June 1967? Well, maybe you don’t remember because you were not yet born, but Israel fought in a bloody conflict that many never thought she would ever be able to win. She had no long-standing army. She had no notable military presence on the ground or in the air. But win she did against the combined greater forces of Egypt, Jordan and Syria. (I was privileged to know one man who played an important role by the name of Rex, he (with a few other courageous souls) through clandestine plans flew unmarked fighter planes from the United Stated undetected into the Southern hemisphere, then across the Atlantic, then over North Africa into bases in Israel established to help train Israeli pilots.) Since that massive failure of Israel’s neighbors to invade and conquer Israel, her enemies have changed war tactics. But Israel’s battles and her survival is now thought of as daily normal routine existence for those who do not live within her borders. She has ceased to be a victim and is now a fierce warrior lion among lions. Israel has stood her ground refusing to be moved off of her land, so what therefore, would cause her to flee into the wilderness?

What changes? Every man and woman at a young age are militarily trained to stand and defend their land. So, what changes? The political winds change. Israel’s nation allies (of which she has very few, if in reality any) have fallen or cease to exist. Her enemy neighbors gain more power, and her allies cease to have power. She has stood alone many times, but never has she ever had to face what is about to come upon her. (Although, God calls them His people, and they are His people, they at this moment and at the moment to come, are far from being the people of God’s heart, they failed Him in the past, they are failing Him still today and they will continue to fail God up to the point when they finally realize what they, as a nation, have done.) But what causes them to realize that they rejected Jehovah God, and that they rejected their Messiah?

Why will Israel flee into the wilderness? Matthew Chapter 24 has the prophetic history of Israel laid out for all to understand, and of course, it has to be in the 24th Chapter. What is described in this Chapter is not the long-awaited translation of the Church, because this gospel is about Israel’s King, and His kingdom. This is all about the tribulation period and how it will affect His people, Israel. Why will Israel flee? (Matthew 24:15) When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) (Matthew 24:15)

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: (Matthew 24:16)

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: (Matthew 24:17)

Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. (Matthew 24:18)

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! (Matthew 24:19)

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: (Matthew 24:20)

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:21)

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. (Matthew 24:22)

The Spirit of God through the words of the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 24:15 deliberately carries us back to the age of Daniel. There have been many prophets and servants of God greatly loved by God, however, the phrase greatly beloved is recorded in only three verses and all in the book of Daniel, and all about Daniel. (Daniel 9:23; 10:11, 19) God allowed Daniel to see into the future of the nation of Israel, and the visions that God gave to Daniel were so massively mind-boggling that Daniel (after these visions) often became physically ill. (Most all want to venture into the book of the Revelation without any background of biblical history. Since many are naturally lazy people and prefer to learn by the osmosis system; to expect these same individuals who say that they would like to know what happens at the time of great tribulation to actually read thoughtfully is a lost cause. To know the book of the Revelation and the time of tribulation it is absolutely imperative to understand the book of Daniel.) The book Daniel is not considered by any as ‘light reading.’ I am trying to gently tread through this article by being very selective with verses.

And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it. (Daniel 8:27)

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.  (Daniel 10:1) In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. (Daniel 10:2) I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. (Daniel 10:3)

What Daniel wrote of his visions was not lightly taken by Daniel for he mourned for three weeks over what was about to happen to Israel in the far distant future. He could not eat, nor was he occupied with daily sustenance for he had seen God and heard the voice of the Ancient of days speak of the most tragic of times brought on by man’s complete rejection of the Godhead. I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment [was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne [was like] the fiery flame, [and] his wheels [as] burning fire. (Daniel 7:9) (Notice that this all is documented in the 7th Chapter. Now how did God the Spirit know that these words would later be set into a numbered system as a numbered legal document?)

Side Note: The Ancient of days, Godhead, I AM. Also, there is another ‘coincidence,’ the words Ancient of days is only documented THREE times in the entire Bible. (Daniel 7:9,13; 7:22). The word Godhead is also mentioned THREE times in the entire Bible. (Acts 17:29; Romans 1:20; Colossians 2:9) The Godhead is the Ancient of days. And again in the Old Testament we have this . . . . .And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. (Exodus 3:14) The thrice called I AM in the Old Testament is the Ancient of days. ♦ End of Side Note: The Ancient of days, Godhead, I AM.

Daniel was so overcome with grief that he mourned three full weeks for what would come to pass thousands and thousands of years yet in the future. (We can’t even mourn over the current demise of our country, never mind the tragedy of thousands of souls being dismissed as mere fodder and no longer of any use to their betters.) The book of Daniel intertwines time together with places, events and personalities of power over the merchandising of the land of promise (dividing the land for gain – Daniel 11:39). What Daniel saw, the people in Israel will see, and what they see will cause them to immediately flee. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) (Matthew 24:15)

What is this abomination of desolation that causes . . . the woman to flee into the wilderness? Let’s look at the connection between Matthew 24 and 13, and Daniel Chapters 11 and 12.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) (Matthew 24:15)

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: (Mark 13:14)

The phrase the abomination of desolation is recorded only twice in the Bible, and the phrase the abomination that maketh desolate is also recorded only twice in the Bible. This double witness is seen from two points: the abomination that maketh desolate is the prophecy and the abomination of desolation is the fulfillment of the prophecy.

And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily [sacrifice], and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. (Daniel 11:31)

And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days. (Daniel 12:11)

Chapter 11 of Daniel is written by the Holy Spirit of God in detail summary form describing the events from Greek, Roman and Egyptian political and military maneuvers with the land of Israel as the prize. Why Israel as the military and political prize? It is situated between East and West, besides trade routes converging at this point, it was also a corridor that allowed northern and southern powers to quickly advance against each other. This Chapter is the greatest summary of political intrigue and betrayal spanning hundreds of years from Alexander the Great to his death and the distribution of his kingdom into four districts, from Cleopatra and Caesar and the schism of Roman authority to the dissolving of Egyptian power, and onward describing in exact detail the many conflicts that flowed over this small piece of territory that was caught between the greatest forces ever to exist in the history of mankind. I am attempting to squeeze hundreds of years of historical conflict as recorded in Daniel 11 and at the same time place us in our current age, and then as also recorded in Daniel 11 to reveal the future. When Daniel wrote this Chapter with his pen of tears, it was ALL prophecy. But now in 2022, it is mostly historical, yet there is still much yet to happen and thus it is also prophetic. (I suggest this: in order to see the history within Chapter 11 of the book of Daniel, read Greek history, Roman history, Egyptian history, and Ottoman history, and English history . . . I jest of course . . . but, better yet, read the Bible!) So, since reading history is out, let us tackle the prophetic part of Daniel 11 and 12.

What awaits Israel that will cause her to flee? As you are aware that at this moment on the foundation of Solomon’s Temple there is a Muslim shrine built in 691 A.D. called The Dome of the Rock in the heart of Jerusalem also known as Mount Moriah. For 1,331 years (based on 2022) this insult to every Jew has been a visible thorn to them. But biblical prophecy moves over this thorn and discloses that there will yet be another Temple built with a sanctuary, and an offering. I don’t know the ‘hows’ or the ‘wherebys,’ or the ‘whens,’ but I know that this will be . . . because of what Scripture tells us. Let’s follow this thought . . . . remember that we are viewing this as both historical and prophetical at the same time.

•And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: (the Messiah, Christ was crucified for the sins of others), and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; (and Rome, the people of the prince of the air destroyed the city and the temple) and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined (and from this point forward until the end of the conflict with Satan, Israel will be faced with great oppression because it has all been determined by the determinate counsels of God). (Daniel 9:26)

This next verse is totally prophetic for us as well as it had been for the prophet Daniel. The Holy Spirit of God waste no words in reaching across the gulf of time.

• And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: (the ‘he‘ here is the man of sin, the last earthly man to rule over the world, the last Nimrod. He will deceptively act as one with Israel, and institutes a covenant with them, an alliance and a treaty to honor and protect national Israel, and their newly constructed temple and sanctuary for a period of seven years. The word ‘week‘ represents the number seven, in seven days is one week.) and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, (however, he breaks this covenant after 3 ½ years, and stops all activities and worship) and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate (the Antichrist, the 6 – 6 – 6, then shows himself as the abomination of desolation, and spreads his evil when he declares himself to be god). (Daniel 9:27) The New Testament confirms this through 2nd Thessalonians Chapter 2, verse 4, Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

There is one point that I would like to emphasis: in order to cease the sacrifice and the oblation means that it had to begin; thus, there is temple yet to be built where Solomon’s temple once stood. Think of what would have to transpire that the Eastern nations would allow this to happen. How will Israel build another temple without having to defend her decision? This unique piece of territory is like no other piece of ground in all of history. Politically, socially, and religiously it has always been much more than mere real estate. This is a particular land like no other where two extremely different religions and people claim as their inheritance, the place of their nativity, and out of the same earthly progenitor, Abraham. How can this not be a reason for conflict? And how will Israel form a priesthood within the guidelines of the Law of Moses? Just things to consider! (There is also another point of thought: this treaty (covenant) that will be signed by the false peacekeeper could also contain a compromise between the Arab world, and Israel allowing Israel to construct alongside the Dome of the Rock, a place of sacrifice for Israel. Since this false peacekeeper is an enemy of Israel, it would be a matter of political expediency to draw the Arab world into his plan of lulling Israel into a false sense of peace, and therefore, the Arab nations would agree to sign this seven-year treaty.)  And besides all that, there is also this; the hatred of the entire world places the blame on Israel for all of their self-inflicted problems. Chapter 12, verse 3 from the book of Zechariah sets this all up in one phrase that Jerusalem is a burdensome stone for all people. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. Israel flees because the military force of the entire world is coming against her, led by the person who had just 3 ½ years previously covenanted with her to guarantee her peace for a period of seven years: a seven-year treaty guaranteed by the false man of peace. And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. (Revelation 13:11)

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. (Daniel 8:23) And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. (Daniel 8:24) And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:25)

The revealing of the antichrist, the enemy of Christ and Israel is what causes Israel to flee. Israel races to escape the forces that have been gathered to annihilate her by the very one who formed a treaty with her to protect her. The world united with Satan and the antichrist (the personification of Satan), and the false prophet (the religious guiding influence) who draws the people of the nations to accept the manifested image of Satan in his embodiment in the antichrist as god is also the fulfillment of 6 – 6 – 6. (The three prongs of satanic force: Satan (the head of all evil), the antichrist (the embodiment representing and acting in the power of Satan), and the false prophet (the religious spiritual evil influencer). This is Satan’s attempt to counterfeit the Godhead bodily.  Mankind supposedly and finally achieves his ultimate goal, he is god. And Satan also supposedly and finally achieves his ultimate earthly victory: ALL the peoples and ALL nations are now completely under his control; he is the master over the earth AND ALL WORSHIP HIM. What he failed to achieve in God’s realm in the heavens, he achieves over God’s earthly creation (for a short time). . . . . And the woman fled into the wilderness. But we are not yet at the end of this 6th Trailer of Revelation Chapter 12 . . . . . . . . .

Side Note: The Twelves: Revelation Chapter 12, Daniel Chapter 12, Zechariah Chapter 12 and the double of Matthew 24 have a common theme. They all deal with the same time period in the prophetic history of Israel. The same 7 year period, the same 3 ½ time frame, and the same 42 months. ♦ End of Side Note: The Twelve.

. . . . . . . . .  . . . . 6. The Supernatural Escape of God’s Nation

And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.  (Revelation 12:6)

This darkest period of Israel’s existence will also be the darkest period of human existence. Freedom will become an empty meaningless word. Social chaos masquerades as peace, and betrayal is goodness in action. Life becomes so unbearable that man desires death. And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts. (Jeremiah 8:3) And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. (Revelation 9:6)

The Holy Spirit distinguishes this darkest period of time for mankind as a time of tribulation and a time of GREAT tribulation. This is a time period lasting seven (7) years: 3 ½ years of tribulation and 3 ½ years of GREAT tribulation. (Here is another thought that your mind needs to remember: the 3 ½ year period. Why 3 ½ years, and what happens in the first 3 ½ years and what happens in the last 3 ½ years? Can you name things or events in Scripture that has this exact time frame?) Another interesting thought, the word tribulation is mentioned three (3) times in the Old Testament and sixteen (16) times in the New Testament. The words great tribulation is only mentioned in the New Testament for a total of three times. This monstrous age can be considered the Age of Madness, when mankind will no longer be able to function with reason, understanding, justice and truth; competing to see how base and beastly they can become in words, thoughts and deeds.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:21) And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. (Matthew 24:22) The prophet Zechariah was also given words from the mouth of God by the Holy Spirit of God to express a future event that is beyond the range of emotional human comprehension.

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. (Zechariah 14:1) For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. (Zechariah 14:2) This is where Revelation 12:6 sets the scene of people frantically attempting to escape. . . . And the woman fled into the wilderness. Then the story line picks up in verse 5. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. (Zechariah 14:5)

Side Note: Uzziah and one of the seven sins of the sanctuary. In Scripture there were seven sins connected with the sanctuary. King Uzziah committed one of these seven sins. Being a powerful king wasn’t enough for him; he had to also be the high priest.

Since Zechariah 14:5 is a prophetic scene of the End Time in the days of Israel’s GREAT tribulation the connection to Uzziah, king of Judah, is not a minor reminder of just a geological earthquake. The Spirit of God is drawing us to a spiritual lesson based around Uzziah in His connection when the people of Israel fled in panic into the mountains for refuge. It is up to us to follow the stones leading to the path of Uzziah’s great sin against Jehovah and His sanctuary. What Uzziah did was a spiritual earthquake because in his pride and arrogance he assumed to take on the role of priest as well as a king. God had set up specific conditions of priesthood and only ONE is both priest and King and that was the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. Uzziah greatly overestimated his favor with God and went beyond God’s laws and ordinances. The following verses are selected, and not continuous.

Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Jecoliah of Jerusalem. (2nd Chronicles 26:3)

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did. (2nd Chronicles 26:4)

And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gurbaal, and the Mehunims. (2nd Chronicles 26:7)

And the Ammonites gave gifts to Uzziah: and his name spread abroad even to the entering in of Egypt; for he strengthened himself exceedingly. (2nd Chronicles 26:8)

Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry. (2nd Chronicles 26:10)

And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong. (2nd Chronicles 26:15)

But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense. (2nd Chronicles 26:16)

And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD, that were valiant men: (2nd Chronicles 26:17)

And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour from the LORD God. (2nd Chronicles 26:18)

Then Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar. (2nd Chronicles 26:19)

And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him. (2nd Chronicles 26:20)

And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham his son was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land. (2nd Chronicles 26:21)

Eighty priests and Azariah, the chief priest, confronted Uzziah knowing that by their actions that the king could have very easily had them killed, however, they acted in truth and righteousness. As Lucifer had been cast out of the realm of the heavens and separated from all that he ruled over and removed from his position as covering cherub, so also God removed Uzziah from his throne, from his family, from the nation of Israel; Uzziah was cast out to live separated from everything, and everyone as a leper.

The connection of Uzziah, the End Times, the antichrist, and Lucifer is this: But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense. (2nd Chronicles 26:16) As Lucifer polluted the Temple of God in the heavens and attempted to usurp the authority of Melchisedec (the High Priest of God); and as Uzziah polluted the temple of God in Jerusalem during the Age of Israel’s kings, and attempted to usurp the authority of God’s earthly priesthood in the line of Aaron; so the antichrist will also corrupt the temple of God (the temple yet to be built at this writing), and will attempt to usurp God’s authority of the coming Messiah by unlawfully acting as both priest and king over Israel and over the entire globe. Lucifer/Satan has always craved the place of being the object of worship and salivating over wrenching the position of Melchisedec away from God’s True High Priest. Lucifer is the master imposter and great counterfeiter. The same sin, pride, his heart was lifted up, was the cause of Lucifer’s fall. Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. (1st Timothy 3:6) The sin of pride was Uzziah’s fall, and the culmination of the acts of the antichrist will be his destined fall. This is why God connects Zechariah 4:5 to Revelation 12: And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. (Zechariah 14:5) And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. (Revelation 12:6)

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (2nd Thessalonians 2:3) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2nd Thessalonians 2:4) ♦ End of Side Note: Uzziah and one of the seven sins of the sanctuary.

• where she hath a place prepared of God. Where does Israel flee? They flee to Azal. Azal is only mentioned once in the entire Bible, and its meaning confirms Revelation 12:5, because Azal means ‘reserved.’ God has a specific place that He has reserved, set aside, for future use. Through all the horrors that Israel has faced, and will yet face, GOD has it all under control. He has prepared a place for Israel to survive. For 3 ½ years God preserves Israel in the cleft of the rocks in the valley of the mountains. Later in our Feature film section, God, through the Holy Spirit, teaches us more of this time of Israel’s supernatural escape and preservation from the terrors of the whole world militarily searching for her. Leaving Israel safely in the preserving hands of God, we will now move on in our study and examine the last section of our study verse in Revelation 12:6. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. (Revelation 12:6)

• that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. Who isthey?’ I will leave that question for you to think on it. Let us move on to God’s timetable. In Revelation 12:6, we have 1,260 days (3 ½ years or 42 months, remember that God loves detail) Israel is fed and preserved in the valley of the mountains. In Revelation 11:2, the Gentile powers take Jerusalem for forty and two (42) months (42m x 30d is 1,260 days).

In the first part of this seven-year period (3 ½ years) Israel will feel the power of God in judgment against her. During the last 3 ½ years she will be protected in the clefts of the Rock in the valley of the mountains by the power of God to preserve, while the world outside of her exiled existence will undergo catastrophe after catastrophe, destruction upon destruction upon people, land and ocean. As each of the seven seals are opened the world becomes inescapably engulfed with judgment upon judgment.

During the first part of this seven year period (3 ½ years) the world will feel the power of God in judgment, and during the last 3 ½ years (although the Church is no longer in the world because For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 1st Thessalonians 5:9; the world church remains in the earth and will experience the WRATH of God in great tribulation because the world church is part of the world, and therefore, it must be rewarded with the same rewards of judgment against her) all of the children of disobedience will know the WRATH of God in the GREAT tribulation of the Almighty God. (Throughout Scripture we learn that there is tribulation, and then there is a great tribulation, and then there is the wrath of God, and the great wrath of God. But sometimes we overlook the wrath that began in the age of timelessness, and spilled over into the age of time, and this is the wrath of Lucifer/Satan, the beast and dragon of madness. And guess where we find the last mention of great wrath? Of course, in our current study Chapter of Revelation Chapter 12, verse 12. What a coincidence that it is 12.12. (Remember: Daniel Chapter 12, Zechariah Chapter 12, then the double 12 of Chapter 24 of Matthew, and now we have a double 12 in Revelation 12:12. All of these notable twelves have brought us to the last mention of great wrath because it the great wrath of the devil not only against God’s people Israel, but now Satan’s madness comes out in full vengeance against the inhibitors of the earth. He eats his own, his children of disobedience. When you play with the devil do you believe that you can escape from his great wrath? . . . . Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. (Revelation 12:12) (This verse will again come up in our Feature section of our study later.)

We have just peeked through the lattice of God’s supernatural word. My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice. (Song of Songs 2:9) We have much more to see and to learn of why Israel flees, and why she is preserved for 3 ½ years in exile in the clefts of the rock in the valley of the mountains, and why does the Lord Jesus Christ through His words in Matthew 24, tell us to return to the book of Daniel, and what is the connected between Daniel and the book of the Revelation, and why does God insist on setting dates, and times, and years, and weeks, and months, and days into His narrative? There is still much more to learn. Nevertheless, I must end this section of our study because I am tired and drained physically and spiritually. Hopefully you may again join with me in the next article to follow.
