Men of Renown

Part xxviii

Out of His Mouth

∼

The Last Great Mystery Continues

in the Second Woman

in the book of the Revelation

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)

This series called Men of Renown will begin with these verses in Chapter 6 of the book of Genesis because it is the perfect scene setter for whatever and whoever follows that enables men of renown to act in conflict against God and His Word. Genesis 6 verses 4 and 5 are an accurate definition of men of renown.

Out of His Mouth

And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. (Revelation 12:15)

And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. (Revelation 12:16)

This is another interesting phrase in these two verses, out of his mouth is twice referred to. Is this only symbolism? Is this actual water? Let us trace this phrase through scripture. In the Old Testament this phrase occurs ten (10) times, the number ten, of course, represents divine order, the Law, and man’s responsibility to the Law of God and to God Himself. In the New Testament, this phrase is recorded seven (7) times. There is THAT number again. Let’s tackle the Old Testament first.

The Bible is an easy read, it is written by the Holy Spirit of God for man at a sixth-grade reading level. Well, maybe, today since educational standards no longer exist, the Bible may be now at a twelfth-grade reading level, but this is just my opinion. I do know that many cannot read at all at no fault of their own. Satan has taken away the ability to read and removed the desire to read away from the young and has replaced words with hieroglyphics. I would say that this is more than a step back into the Dark Ages, but it is a push into ignorance. Serfs do not need to read, neither do they need to know how to sign their own names because an X is quite suitable for slaves. This is our world today, the world of serfdom. Since knowledge is power, knowledge of the word of God must be eliminated by the haters of God.

Now, where was I? Oh, yes . . . the Bible is an easy read. Yet, to gather nourishment from the word of God it is necessary to do more than light reading. To enjoy the beauty of God’s word, one must sometimes use a magnifier and a telescope. In the phrase out of his mouth in the Old Testament we will employ a telescope. Ten times this phrase out of his mouth is documented in the Old Testament, remember that the number ten (10) represents divine order, the Law, and man’s responsibility to God’s Law and to God Himself. (Repeat and repeat again!) Always follow The Law of First Mention to see a theme or the underpinning of a theme in how it is first mentioned.

—– OUT OF HIS MOUTH —–

in The Old Testament

• The Mouth of Man

• The Mouth of the Serpent

• The Mouth of the Dragon

•  The Mouth of Bel of Babylon

and

• Out of the Mouth of the Righteous Judge

• The First Mention: If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. (Numbers 30:2) Man’s responsibility to honor his word sets the tone for this first mention of out of his mouth. This first mention also reveals that it is the LORD who mankind is responsible to.

• The Second Mention: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered [it] out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught [him] by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. (1st Samuel 17:35) This is from the famous event of the battle between David and Goliath. (The giant Goliath is a type of the giant adversary Satan.) David is recounting to king Saul, his fight with a lion and a bear (both types of Satan) and rescuing a lamb from being devoured.

And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: (1st Samuel 17:34)

And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it  out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. (1st Samuel 17:35)

Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. (1st Samuel 17:36)

David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee. (1st Samuel 17:37)

Notice also how the Holy Spirit places the lion and the bear as personal in him, and his, not as it. Just a small turn of a single word draws us into a typology of Satan. Also, David is a type of Christ, unveiling to us the victory of Christ over Satan.

The first mention of out of his mouth shows man’s responsibility to God. The second mention shows Christ’s victory over His enemy.

• The Third Mention: There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. (2nd Samuel 22:9) This was sung by David praising God for delivering him from his enemies. It is also Psalm 18 with fifty verses worshiping the greatness of the LORD God. I suggest that you read all of Chapter 22 with is fifty-one verses. This is the third mention of out of his mouth.

And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: (2nd Samuel 22:1)

And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; (2nd Samuel 22:2)

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. (2nd Samuel 22:3)

I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. (2nd Samuel 22:4)

When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid; (2nd Samuel 22:5)

In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears. (2nd Samuel 22:7)

Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth. (2nd Samuel 22:8)

There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. (2nd Samuel 22:9)

He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet. (2ndt Samuel 22:10)

And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind. (2nd Samuel 22:11)

The song of praise is also a prophetic psalm connecting Israel’s plight in Revelation Chapter 12. Also, our study phrase of out of his mouth is in verse nine (9) the number of judgment in finality.

The third mention of out of his mouth reveals that God’s great wrath will completely devour the enemies of His people.

• The Fourth Mention: Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound [that] goeth out of his mouth. (Job 37:2) This is the fourth documentation of our study phrase. It is rightly the fourth because it exalts the greatness of God to the people of the world . . . the number four is the Earth number. His greatness is seen through the sound of His voice in the voice of His Word. Having eyes to see, we see not; and having ears, we hear not, and thus, we cannot hear His voice of His Word. Lacking to see and to hear God’s excellence in His perfection we move through our existence truly unable to appreciate who our God is, and what our God is. The following verses have been selected from Chapter thirty-six (36) which leads into the meaning of this fourth mention of out of his mouth.

Elihu also proceeded, and said, (Job 36:1)

Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf. (Job 36:2)

I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. (Job 36:3)

For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee. (Job 36:4)

Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom. (Job 36:5)

Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out. (Job 36:26)

At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place. Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth  out of his mouth. (Job 37:1)

After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. (Job 37:4)

God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. (Job 37:5)

The fourth mention of out of his mouth teaches us of God’s great excellency and perfection in knowledge and in righteousness.

• The Fifth Mention: Out of his mouth go burning lamps, [and] sparks of fire leap out. (Job 41:19)

• The Sixth Mention: His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth. (Job 41:21)

The fifth and sixth mention of out of his mouth can be viewed two aspects. First, part of Chapter 40 and all of Chapter 41 describes behemoth also called leviathan. This was one animal, one beast, not two different animals. Secondly, this is also a comparison between this earthly beast and the dragon known as Satan. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:9) Four names: dragon, old serpent, Devil and Satan are all tied together as one entity.

Side Note: A Time Frame. Although the book of Genesis is the first book of the Bible, it is not considered to be the oldest book. The book of Job has the honor of being the oldest book of the Bible. Moses wrote of the creation, and all that transpired in another world, or in the old world, or the previous world never having seen that world; Job also wrote of things that he had never experienced nor seen because as the pen of Moses was guided by the Holy Spirit of God, so too, the pen of Job was also directed by God the Holy Spirit. There are things in the book of Job that reveal God’s realm before the creation. It also sets a primeval scene. And there are also things written that men during that time frame would not know EXCEPT it be revealed to them by the Holy Spirit of God: the hydrological system, hibernation, weather patterns, light rays, the circle of the earth, the hemispheres, the elements that affected an Ice Age, the gravitational power of the constellations, a solar system and planetary circuit, shields protecting the earth, a center of gravity, and the law of circular motion and much more. We must not stop and linger in the vast revelations within the book of Job, but only need to add this bit of information, he lived AFTER the flood and BEFORE Abraham and BEFORE the Law of Moses. And because Job lived 140 years after his experience written about in this book, he, therefore, reached an age of probably 200 years or more, which aligns him with the age of the men named in Genesis Chapter 11. After the flood men still lived long lives and gradually the time span of their lives diminished. There is a reason to set a time reference to the book of Job because of what is written in the 40th and 41st Chapters. ♦ End of Side Note. A Time Frame.

Let us proceed with the fifth and sixth mention of out of his mouth. Stay afloat because it will all connect at the end, I think. This behemoth, this leviathan is our connection to the dragon Satan. Some consider this animal an elephant (NOT!), some say it is a crocodile (NOT!) IT WAS A DRAGON. No, I have not slipped into a sci-fi coma of mindlessness. And dragons are NOT myths. Now, this is where the theory of evolution comes in conflict with reality. In the description of this animal, it clearly describes a dinosaur or also called a dragon. Now, I could write much more about this subject, but if I have tweaked your curiosity then YOU read the book of Job. This article is not about proving the existence of dragons in the same time frame of mankind before the universal flood. Oh me, oh my . . . . what have I just written . . . . a bit of advice . . . when you get to Job Chapter 41:34 see the changeover and the connection to the dragon Satan. This is not the complete description of behemoth the leviathan, but it is up to you to follow through by reading the entire 40th and 41st Chapters of Job.

Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. (Job 40:15) This beast existed alongside with the existence of mankind.

Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. (Job 40:16)

He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. (Job 40:17) The size of his tail was as a tree.

His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. (Job 40:18)

He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. (Job 40:19)

Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. (Job 40:20) Notice that this beast is not limited to a particular environment, but he is found at high elevations as well as at lower elevations.

He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. (Job 40:21) He is found at lower elevations and in areas of vegetation.

The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. (Job 40:22) His size can be small that he can find cover under trees, and this creature can also be huge.

Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. (Job 40:23) He is also huge in size that he can drink up a river.

∼

He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares. (Job 40:24)

∼

Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? (Job 41:1) Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn? (Job 41:2)

∼

Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron. (Job 41:20)

His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth. (Job 41:21)

In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him. (Job 41:22) He is joyful when he creates pain and sorrow.

The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved. (Job 41:23) His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone. (Job 41:24)

∼

He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride. (Job 41:34) This is Lucifer/Satan reaching for the things of God in high places, and unable to conquer the high places of God, he forms his own high places centered around pride. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. (Ephesians 6:12)

The description of this dragon as a type of Satan is seen throughout all the pictures of its flesh, body, skin, habits and environment, but the spiritual application is seen when sorrow is turned into joy before him. Satan is joyful when all he touches becomes sorrowful. The heart of Satan is stone, hard, and sharp. His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone. Every word from the mouth of the great red dragon sets his target aflame as a flame goeth out of his mouth. Satan set his sights on ALL the high things of God’s Christ in God’s realm. He TOOK the things of the priesthood and attempted to make them his and his alone, He beholdeth all high things. Setting his sights on ALL the high things on earth Satan has made himself a king over all the children of pride. Pride was his downfall in God’s realm, but the children of pride on earth have made the great red dragon a king.

The fifth and sixth mention of out of his mouth is a double witness of what proceeds out of the mouth of the great red dragon, flames of damnation, and is a description of his immense strength, and power.

• The Seventh Mention: There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. (Psalm 18:8) This seventh mention of out of his mouth is the second time that the song of David is documented in 2nd Samuel 22:9. Nothing is coincidental in scripture. Every word and every phrase and even every space between words and letters have a reason for being in that particular place. Notice where the second mention of out of his mouth is located. It is in the 2nd book of Samuel, in the twenty-second (22) Chapter, and in the ninth verse (9). God’s triple witness of man’s judgment. Then also consider where the seventh mention of out of his mouth is located. It is located in the Psalms, in the eighteenth Chapter, in the eighth verse. The Holy Spirit’s foreknowledge of the numbering sequencing of His words to come is not to be lightly dismissed. It is because of God’s judgment on man at the Battle of Armageddon, the last battle BEFORE the millennial reign of Christ on earth that Israel, and for all the nations, and people who remain alive after this great battle will experience a new beginning, an existence on earth under a righteous and holy King, the Lord Jesus Christ. Is this not exemplified through these numbers 18:8? The number eighteen is 10 (God’s divine order and man’s responsibility to God) plus 8 (the number of a new beginning), and again the number 8 is a double witness of God’s victory over His enemies. The order is proper: first comes judgment (9) then comes the victorious new beginning (8), and all while surrounded by God’s divine order and His testimony concerning His prophetic promises to Israel.

The seventh mention of out of his mouth reveals the new beginning that will follow His judgments.

• The Eighth Mention: For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth [cometh] knowledge and understanding. (Proverbs 2:6) These three words wisdom, knowledge and understanding describes Christ when He sits on His earthly throne in Jerusalem. The following scripture section in the 11th Chapter of the prophetic book of Isaiah is one of eight verses in the Old Testament that describes life in the millennial kingdom.

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: (Isaiah 11:1)

And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; (Isaiah 11:2)

And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: (Isaiah 11:3)

But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. (Isaiah 11:4)

The eighth mention of out of his mouth is a view of who the new earthly millennial beginning will be ruled by for out of His mouth will flow wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

• The Ninth Mention:  And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall. (Jeremiah 51:44) This is the ninth time that we see our study phrase the UNSEEN voice of God revealing, once again, judgment connected to the number nine. This number nine (9) is not SEEN but it is hidden and UNSEEN in the ninth phrase of out of his mouth. How intricately the Holy Spirit weaves His words exactly and precisely showing His great power in His written word. No human could ever connect phrases throughout the entire scriptures and through thousands of years, through multiple individuals and through numerous books as the Holy Spirit of God thus PROVING that the BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD.

In this ninth phrase out of his mouth it is Bel, the Baal of the Babylonians, who is punished for the words that flow out of his mouth. Bel, Baal, Babylon all connect to the fall of Babylon in the book of the Revelation. Babylon shall fall, and the wall of defenses shall fall. This is not only the ninth mention of out of his mouth, but it is also the LAST mention of Bel in scripture. See how the end of Bel plays out in the numbers, and how the end of Bel plays out in God’s final battle against Babylon.

Bel boweth down, Nebo stoopeth, their idols were upon the beasts, and upon the cattle: your carriages [were] heavy loaden; [they are] a burden to the weary [beast]. (Isaiah 46:1)

Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, [and] conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces. (Jeremiah 50:2)

And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall. (Jeremiah 51:44)

The ninth mention of out of his mouth informs us that God is in control, that in His sovereignty He controls through judgment even the mouth (the message) of the adversary.

• The Tenth Mention: And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, [shall be] for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite. (Zechariah 9:7) This is the tenth and last mention of out of his mouth in the Old Testament. Although I suggest that you read this complete Chapter of 17 verses, I know that you will probably not. So, consequently, this is a very brief summation. This 9th Chapter spans not only a vastness of time, but it also spans prophecy past and prophecy future. It is historical and prophetical. It is full of typology in the names of geographical locations. Tyrus is viewed being both Satan and Babylon. In 9:9 we have the prophesy of the Lord Jesus Christ in His manifestation riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass into Jerusalem. Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. (Zechariah 9:9) (Yes, it is a double nine . . . As Christ was lifted up from the earth, it was the witness of the end to come, when he said, It is finished. This was the witness that ALL had been completed, and now was judgment of the world.) Therefore, the address number of the prophecy of manifestation of Christ on earth attached to the double number of 9:9 is quite fitting.

Then in Zachariah 9:10, we have the millennial reign of Christ. And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth. (Zechariah 9:10) Judgment (9) brings forth God’s perfect divine order (10). Here is God’s perfect divine order of things following the judgment of the world. See how the Spirit of God uses both words and numbers to get His message across. In Zechariah 9:16 we see the salvation of Israel described in Revelation Chapter 12. And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land. (Zechariah 9:16) And in Zechariah 9:17 (the last verse in this Chapter) we have the perfect conclusion showing the greatness of His goodness, and the perfection of His beauty. For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids. This Chapter is another revelation of God’s care and love for His people and the goodness and joy that they will finally experience under He rules as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. (Amos 9:13) And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. (Amos 9:14) And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.(Amos 9:15)

That, my friends, is what I call a brief summary of the ninth Chapter of the book of Zechariah. Now, you may be able to get the understanding of the last mention of out of his mouth in Zechariah 9:7. And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, [shall be] for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite. The address number should give you a hint . . . 9:7. . . . First JUDGMENT must come not only to Tyrus (Satan and Babylon) but Israel ALSO must feel the pain of their abominations, and only then will they be acceptable to God, and only then will they be allowed to take possession of their land once again. The last phrase is the prime jewel in God’s treasure box: redemption, forgiveness, love, goodness and GRACE all wrapped up as a gift to the people of God. and Ekron as a Jebusite. Ekron means ‘uprooted,’ ‘exterminated,’ and ‘plucked up.’ They were a people, a nation who had been declared to be not His people. They had been uprooted and plucked up and on the verge of extermination; they had become EKRON, but now at the end of an age and at the beginning of another age they have become a people of double peace. Jebusite is the original ancient name of Jerusalem. Jerusalem means ‘founded on peace,’ ‘peaceful,’ or ‘double peace.’

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, [that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye [are] not my people, [there] it shall be said unto them, [Ye are] the sons of the living God. (Hosea 1:10)

And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to [them which were] not my people, Thou [art] my people; and they shall say, [Thou art] my God.  (Hosea 2:23)

Let’s bring this to a conclusion: The first mention of out of his mouth shows man’s responsibility to God. The second mention shows Christ victory over His enemy. The third mention reveals that God’s great wrath will completely devour the enemies of His people. The fourth mention teaches us of God’s great excellency and perfection. The fifth and sixth mention is a double witness of what proceeds out of the mouth of the great red dragon are flames of damnation. The seventh mention reveals the new beginning that will follow His righteous judgments. The eighth mention is a view of who the new earthly millennial beginning will be ruled by for out of His mouth will flow wisdom, knowledge and understanding. The ninth mention informs us that God is in control, that in His sovereignty He controls ALL judgment even the mouth (the message) of the adversary, and because of the sovereignty of God Babylon is destined to fall in JUDGMENT. The tenth mention is God’s divine and perfect order in His dealings with His people Israel.

For his anger [endureth but] a moment; in his favour [is] life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. (Isaiah 54:7) In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer. (Isaiah 54:8)

This ends this section of out of his mouth in the Old Testament. But in reality, it doesn’t end because in the New Testament there is much more yet to see. Therefore, as we used a telescope in the Old Testament, we will now use a magnifier in the New Testament.

♦

The MOUTH of God

The WORD of God

KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS

And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.  (Revelation 12:15)

And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. (Revelation 12:16)

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 12:17)

Although we are examining Chapter 12 of the book of the Revelation, verses 15 – 17 through the phrase out of his mouth that refers to Satan, we need to rejoice in the fact that God the Holy Spirit wrote the word of God and He desires that we should take comfort in the ONE who spoke the worlds into being, when He said, Let there be light.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:2) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Genesis 1:3) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. (Genesis 1:4)

Living in earth-time we often see the world through eyes of defeat. Surrounded by such madness of reasoning, and watching nations succumb to the evil forces of men without crowns on their heads fighting for that last crown of power and control to rule as lord and master over the masses . . . defeat seems inevitable. God has not left us alone in this universe of sin without setting before us the battle ahead, and the outcome of this final great battle of the universe centered around Earth Headquarters.

The very first time that God spoke to man was in Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The message was clear. GOD RULES. GOD IS SOVEREIGN. GOD IS THE GREAT CREATOR. The message was that He is HERE. Then the next thing that the Holy Spirit of God desired that we should be aware of is the condition of our world, of our planet, our earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. How did this spinning formless planet become without form, and void? Why was this earth wrapped in darkness? The very next thing that God revealed to us was the battle, the conflict. Before He spoke our world into existence the battle had already raged on through God’s realm, and now the battle would be continued on a new battle front . . . Earth. When God said, Let there be light: and there was light. He was presenting to us the ONE who defeated the enemy in God’s heaven. This was the ONE who is LIGHT. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. God’s heaven had been attacked from within by a created entity, an angel, called Lucifer, son of the morning. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (Isaiah 14:12) Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. (Ezekiel 28:17) Lucifer was son of the morning, the morning of a new day of creation, he represented the brightness of God’s glory, but he was NOT God’s glory. It was the Lord Jesus Christ who was and IS the visible manifestation of the Godhead in God’s heaven who IS the brightness of God’s glory . . . He was and IS the bodily of the Godhead bodily in heaven.

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, (Hebrews 1:1)

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Hebrews 1:2)

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;  (Hebrews 1:3)

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. (Hebrews 1:4)

Sometimes we totally miss the complete revelation in Genesis 1:1-4 because there is an immense wealth of spiritual knowledge and understanding in these four verses. Before God shows us the creation of earth, He first reveals the BATTLE. The battle was and is between Light and darkness. Christ is the Light and Lucifer/Satan is the darkness. We are introduced to typology mixed with literary archetype symbolic of battle. Consequently, the battlefield, and the battle headquarters is first set before us, and in the background, God introduces us to the reason for this battle, and in terms that man can understand He profoundly teaches through symbolism the nature and character of each combatant: that GOD is GOOD and LIGHT, and that Satan is opposite of all that is good and is always in opposition against THAT light. Thus, God divided the light from the darkness. On Satan’s part he began as a created entity called Lucifer, son of the morning, and although at the end he rules over the kingdom of the earth, it is a kingdom totally in darkness. Darkness is his nature and character so; therefore, his kingdom reflects his nature and character. And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, (Revelation 16:10)

Why have I taken so much time describing light and darkness before moving on with our study phrase out of his mouth? Because there is another mouth that has spoken and speaks today. When we get to the end of this article maybe, just maybe, we will understand more about God’s plan to destroy the enemy.

—– OUT OF HIS MOUTH —–

in

The New Testament

In the New Testament, this phrase out of his mouth is recorded seven (7) times. There is THAT number again. Luke is the only gospel with this phrase, out of his mouth, in fact, this phrase is only recorded in two books: Luke and Revelation.

• The First Mention:  The first time that out of his mouth is documented it refers to the gracious words that proceeded out of the mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ. And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son? (Luke 4:22) No one has the right to accuse God of not being gracious. Grace has always been available to ALL who seek God. But there will be an end to the grace of God.

Side Note: GRACE. The word grace is only mentioned twice in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. The first time that the word GRACE is seen is in Chapter 1, verse 4. Notice the number sequence: The number one (1) it is the Godhead who speaks first of Grace [be] unto you, and peace. Then it is in verse four (4) the number of the world that God has offered His grace and peace to. John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne.

The second and last mention of the word grace is found in the very last verse in the Bible, Chapter 22, verse 21. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen. Now this should show you that the word of God was written by God the Holy Spirit, and not by man without the direction of God guiding the quill. ♦ End of Side Note: GRACE

• The Second Mention:  The second time that we have this phrase out of his mouth is in Luke 11:54 where the enemies of Christ were continually searching for something to accuse Him with by dissecting every word that proceeded out of his mouth. Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him. This is one of Satan’s many evil methods to destroy anyone who is against him. (We see and hear this same method used against anyone who dares offer an opinion contrary to the current truth of the day spouted by the governing bodies of hate propaganda.) Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him. (Luke 11:54)

Do you see what these first two verses reveal? They reveal the ongoing battle between good and evil, between truth and lies, between Light and darkness, and between God and Satan. The Lord Jesus Christ speaks gracious words and evil men seek to use His gracious words to accuse Him of not being gracious, without grace and being without love. Evil has been picking at the words of God since the beginning of man and time. The first one to attack the word of God was . . . guess who?. . . Satan, Yea, hath God said. (Genesis 3:1) The very first time that we come in connect with Satan in scripture is in Genesis 3:1, when he said to Eve, Yea, hath God said. Satan’s primary attack has always been against the word of God. The gracious words out of the mouth of God are hated by both man and Satan; the words of truth out of the mouth of God are denied and ridiculed; and the words of judgment and condemnation out of the mouth of God are twisted and ignored.

Side Note: A Personal Experience. While sitting next to a family friend at a formal dinner party we were engaged in a conversation about the level of reading comprehension in college age students as she was a college professor at a prestigious college in Boston. She expressed amazement that my husband, Michael, who was seated next to our host was heard responding to our host’s questions about God. My friend leaned into me and quietly said, He is being very bold speaking about God, don’t you know that the Bible is full of myths. At that point, I reached down beside my chair and from my pocketbook I retrieved my little dagger (a small Bible) and placed it in front of her, and said, Show me one. End of conversation. I understood then why many college students had problems with comprehension because their professors obviously also had comprehension issues. The moral behind this little personal experience is simply never to allow a challenge about the veracity of the word of God go unchallenged. Those who question and challenge the word of God know nothing! ♦ End of Side Note: A Personal Experience.

Another Side Note: My Bible: Regarding the attack on the word of God: I have often wondered why it is only the King James Bible that is attacked? I have never heard of any other that is attacked as frequently as this particular Bible. Why do I use the King James Bible? First, it is the only one that I can understand. Second, it is the only one where the Law of First Mention can be followed and makes any spiritual sense. Thirdly, it is the only one that has been freely available for anyone to use and to print because it is in the public domain. Fourthly, anyone can translate a bible and publish it, I believe that all that is required for a new translation to be copyright acceptable is at least a 10% difference from the book being copied. Bible translation is a money-making business, remember that anyone or any organization can write a new bible. Fifthly, the King James is written at an easy reading level. Saying that the words are archaic and incomprehensible is not a reason, it is an insult. The person who says that they can’t understand the King James Bible is actually saying that they are either too stupid or too ignorant or both! (Snarky me!) I DON’T want to read ‘contemporary language,’ I can barely understand contemporary language that changes daily because of a celebrity rapper. Just think of it . . . the words of God should not sound like the words from the mouth of a hater of God. The words of God should sound measured, melodious, and majestic. The words of God should sound special. The words of God should sound as words coming from a God who is higher than then the heaven itself. The book of Hebrews Chapter 7, verse 26 describes the Lord Jesus Christ who is THE WORD OF GOD. For such an high priest became us, [who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. As Christ is the Living WORD OF GOD, so also is the written word of God in that it is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. ♦ End of Another Side Note: My Bible

The book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is correctly called by the Holy Spirit, The Revelation of Jesus Christ. It reveals Christ as the Ancient of days, Christ as Priest, Prophet and King. It reveals mankind as a Beast, it reveals Satan as the instigator of all evil and it also reveals his end. Although the phrase out of his mouth is documented five times in Revelation, it also divides this same phrase in this way: three times it refers to God, and twice it refers to Satan. God will again not allow Satan to have the upper hand, even in the sequence of numbers. See the counterpoint.

• The Third Mention: What proceeds out of his mouth, the mouth of God? Let’s examine the third time that our phrase is mentioned. The first thing that we see from the mouth of Christ is a sharp twoedged sword, the word of God which is the sword of the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:17; Hebrews 4:12) And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength. (Revelation 1:16) Yes, His word cuts, it is sharp, it exposes, and it rips into the heart of man. The purpose of a sword is to kill. If it were possible for a person to write the word of God without the guidance of the Spirit of God, a person probably would not choose the symbol of a sword to describe God’s word, but maybe they would select a kinder, softer symbol such as a cotton ball, or a comfy pillow to make man comfortable when reading the word of God. But, no, the Holy Spirit of God does not desire that man should see himself as man wishes to see himself . . . without ‘much’ sin, not needing his ‘mistakes,’ and ‘peccadilloes’ judged as sin. A two-edged sword cuts coming and going. For the unrepentant sinner the sword has to be avoided and that is why the attack against God’s Living Word and God’s written word is so vicious. Attack its truth as myths. Attack its Author. Attack its purpose. Attack every word that illuminates the glories and beauty of Christ. Attack its supernatural source. Since the purpose of a sword is to cut and kill than what is the word of God supposed to cut and kill? The word of God is to cut sin into pieces. The word of God is to kill the old man, Adam, and create a new man in Christ Jesus. Here is the other side of the two-edged sword, going in . . . it kills the old man, coming out . . . it creates a new man.

• The Fourth Mention: This fourth and fifth mention is our study section. Let us compare the fourth mention in the Old Testament with this fourth mention in the New Testament. In the Old Testament the words out of his mouth related to God’s sovereignty over the earth, in the New Testament the words out of his mouth are connected to Satan’s action against Israel in Revelation 12:15, And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. Since out of his mouth in the Old Testament refers to the Sovereignty of God this negates everything that comes forth out of the mouth of the serpent. No matter how or what Lucifer wraps himself with he will always be merely a created entity, NOT the Creator. There is only ONE Creator. There is only ONE GOD. Isn’t it strange that those who say that there is no God, desire to be gods . . . ye shall be as gods . . . this is the mantra of the WEF, this is the teaching of evolution, this is the goal of religion to be gods over the people.

Man’s quest to annihilate their Creator and to become gods is so deeply imbedded into the human psyche that man can neither reason, nor comprehend the reality of a spiritual existence. Mankind was first given the capacity to enjoy the spiritual realm of God while in a physical body. Although Adam was able to communicate freely with God, who is Spirit, man was not a spiritual entity. Man had a natural body that saw with his eyes, heard with his ears, and communicated with God. That was a marvelous creation that God formed from the dust of the earth: a physical being able to see, hear, and speak with the spiritual realm of God was not an unusual occurrence, but it was a natural and daily happening. When Adam sinned, this supernatural spiritual realm became lost to Adam and to his progeny. Although God spoke directly with Cain and Abel, it was not the same as when God spoke with Adam before Adam sinned. Sin separated Adam from God. Sin divided Adam from God. Sin placed Adam in the position of a rebel against God. Sin removed divine goodness from man, and man was left with a goodness reconstructed by his own imagination. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5) Cut off from God, but not forsaken of God, man then refused to come to God on God’s terms.

• The Fifth Mention: Clearly Revelation 12:16 describes the earth itself helps Israel to escape from the waters coming from the mouth of the serpent. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

It should not be a strange thing for us to envision that the very earth itself will be used to help Israel escape from the flood of water rushing through the canyons and valleys to wash away the remnant of God’s people hiding in their Rock sanctuary in the wilderness. Everyone is well aware of the immense power of water how it can form deep gashes in rocks, sweep away towns and villages, destroy solid infrastructures, and create new river channels. Living in Florida we understand that the power of water is as great as the power of air. Hurricane winds are extremely destructive, but the devastation caused from water is longer lasting and more corrosive.

The first global flood documented in the book of Genesis was not only caused by rain, but its destructiveness was aided by the fountains and rivers of the deep pouring out of the ground as a volcano spewing water and transforming the entire geographical make-up of the world. (Genesis 7:11, 12) Look at the rock lines throughout the Grand Canyon in Arizona where the rocks themselves speak of a tremendous pressure forming horizontal fluid lines layering hard older stone over younger stone. The great mountains of rocks were twisted and made pliable by water. You can almost hear the agony of voiceless rocks as silent witnesses to that great flood. Water is powerful and that is one of the many reasons that God uses water to describe the working of the Holy Spirit.  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)

As God used His creation (flood by water) to destroy mankind in the universal flood, Satan will try to use God’s creation, a flood by water, to bring about the annihilation of those hiding in their rock sanctuary in the wilderness. Satan’s plot will fail because God is the Creator, the Preserver and the Maintainer . . . And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. (Revelation 12:16) This was not the first time that the earth opened her mouth, but this time it was to preserve not to destroy.

Three times in the Old Testament it is recorded that the earth opened her mouth. (Numbers 16:32; 26:10; Deuteronomy 11:6) All document the same event, and the Holy Spirit of God uses the same phrases, And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up . . . And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together . . . . the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up. This judgment was against the rebels and conspiracy of Korah who was the instigator of a rebellion against Aaron and Moses. However, the last and fourth mention is in our study section of Revelation 12:16, And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. The earth itself helped the woman, Israel.

We walk, work and exist on this earth without any consideration of what we exist on. In fact, we take all of God’s natural creation as if it all belongs to us. We neither appreciate nor do we respect the ground that supplies us with its goodness and nourishment. The earth is treated cruelly and carelessly because we do not understand its role in the total plan of God for mankind. Mankind acts beyond his pay grade. It would be laughable if it was not so tragic that man believes that he must save the planet that he physically works to corrupt. These corrupters cannot save themselves, yet they can save the planet. It is neither in man’s ability nor in his wisdom or power to save the planet. But believing that they are gods blinds these little gods to the reality that they are nothing but dust and will blow away when their bodies lie corrupted in the grave, neither can cremation save them from the judgment of God. They cannot save themselves from death, yet they speak of saving the planet. They cannot stop murder, they cannot stop drugs, they cannot stop human trafficking, they cannot stop illegal elections, they cannot stop bribery, they cannot stop floods, nor earthquakes and they cannot stop themselves from sinning. Yet, they tell us that they can control weather by more taxation. Whenever you hear the words, ‘Save the planet,’ KNOW that they really are saying, CONTROL the people who live on the planet. The little gods who spout off, ‘Save the planet’ have NO intention to SERVE the planet, nor to PROTECT the planet, nor to GUARD the planet . . . . it is to CONTROL the people who live on the planet. Little gods thinking that they can become bigger gods. It is not man’s mission to take control OVER this planet, and herein lies the problem because this planet does not belong to man. Mankind has never been able to correctly and righteously rule over himself, therefore, why would you believe that he can rule over the weather patterns?  In Genesis 2:15, God’s directive and mission to Adam was clearly given, And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. Adam was to dress it and to keep it . . . make fit, care, nourish, serve and to keep. If man really wanted to serve, care, nourish and to keep his environment then he would stop poisoning his own food, he would stop polluting his own water, and he would cease hating and mutilating his own body.  Somehow to make fit, care, nourish, serve and to keep does not equate with more taxation.

God created such a great earth that it can heal itself, it can protect itself, it can recover from the diseases of man, it can restore itself from the rape and injuries from the negligence and indifference of sinful man. All man has to do is to STOP sinning. MAN IS UNABLE TO STOP SINNING for sin DNA is part of his humanity. Laws cannot stop man’s destructive nature, nor are laws intended to stop man’s destructive nature. Laws enacted by godless leaders have two purposes: increase their own unearned wealth and to increase sinful depravity among the people. The laws of corrupt lawmakers only lead to more corruption. The very same individuals who speak of ‘saving the planet,’ refuse to give up the very things that could replenish and nourish the earth. No, man cannot save the planet, for saving the planet is not his goal. The goal of man is the same goal as Satan: destroy mankind, destroy the planet, destroy all of God’s creation.

Saving this planet is in God’s determinate will and is under God’s sovereign will and purpose, for this planet will be saved for the one purpose of God to allow mankind to experience one thousand years UNDER the rule of a righteous and holy Ruler, the Lord Jesus Christ. For UNDER the rod of iron rule of a righteous Messiah will the earth once more serve its purpose. Righteousness will allow this planet to easily feed the inhabitants with the goodness of nourishment. Righteousness will bring this planet to its first state of richness once more.

And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. (Ezekiel 34:26) And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them. (Ezekiel 34:27)

And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. (Ezekiel 36:28) I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. (Ezekiel 36:29) And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen, (Ezekiel 36:30)

There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. (Ezekiel 65:20)

The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD. (Ezekiel 65:25)

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. (Isaiah 11:6) And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. (Isaiah 11:7) And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. (Isaiah 11:8) They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. (Isaiah 11:9)

And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely. (Hosea 2:18)

It is God who owns this planet, it is God who controls this planet, it is God who will save this planet, but for a season, a season of one thousand years so that man will be without excuse for his sin because after the thousand years of peace, prosperity, and safety man will once again join forces led by Satan and rebel against Christ. After a thousand years of peace, prosperity and safety man will rebel against peace, prosperity and safety. ONE THOUSAND YEARS of the earth being at peace with itself. ONE THOUSAND YEARS where the beasts and creatures of the earth will be at peace with each other. The sin of Adam not only drew the curse of sin and death on ALL of mankind, but ALL the beasts and creatures were also drawn into the curse of The Law of Sin and Death. All the beasts of the earth suffer pain and death because of ADAM, because of US, because of the sin of man.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18)

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8:19)

For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, (Romans 8:20)

Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (Romans 8:21)

For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. (Romans 8:22)

And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. (Romans 8:23)

The lesson for all man is that in order for man to live, SOMETHING MUST DIE. The spiritual lesson in truth is that in order for man to live forever, SOME ONE MUST DIE in man’s place.

For those of us who have felt the deep pain of losing a dearly loved pet, have you ever wondered why? Why and where did this pain of the sorrow of loss come from? Go back to the first pain of death . . . who first suffered? God suffered. It was God who shed the first blood on earth. It was God who first took the life of His creatures. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. (Genesis 3:21) Now Adam and Eve understood death, and consequently, they knew fear, for they were clothed with death. God clothed them — not with His glory as they were first clothed with, nor with any splendor that they might acquire or desire, but He clothed them with death. God clothed them with the evidence of the result of their rebellion. God removed their glory and left them naked, exposed to death. The lesson for all man is that in order for man to live, SOMETHING MUST DIE. The spiritual lesson in truth is that in order for man to live forever, SOME ONE MUST DIE in man’s place.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. (John 6:4)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: (John 11:25)

This is a hard thing to say, and it is the hardest thing to feel, but when anyone experiences the loss of a treasured and beloved pet, that is the closest that anyone will come to experience how the heart of God felt when He slew the first of His created beasts of the earth. Nothing, but nothing can be compared or felt to the heart of God when HE once offered the soul, body and blood of His beloved Son, the Lord Jesus on the cross of Calvary.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. (Isaiah 53:4) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. (Isaiah 53:10) He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. (Isaiah 53:11)

No utopian environment can satisfy mankind because man carries the virus of sin, and sin he is, and sin he must. After one thousand years, ONE THOUSAND YEARS of peace, prosperity and safety man’s true sin nature bursts out into a global rebellion against God. Everything that man yearns for: long life, peace, comfort and safety is not enough for him because he is ruled by sin. Man is a slave to sin, and this special race called man MUST face his end. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (Revelation 21:1)

• The Sixth Mention: Out of his mouth in Revelation 19:15 is the sixth mention. It is the Lord Jesus Christ at the Battle of Armageddon who conquers the Beast, the false prophet and the nations, and takes control over His earth. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. Oh, oh, the Lord Jesus Christ will not only smite the nations that come up against Him in the Battle of Armageddon, but victoriously He will rule them with a rod of iron by a sharp sword wielded by the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. Whenever verses are pulled out of its setting and separated from its context much is lost. There is much that is revealed about our Lord and Savior as it relates to verse 15; therefore, let’s follow out of his mouth further. First, whose mouth is this referring to?

We (Christians and non-Christians) have become very careless in how we treat the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ is NOT our buddy, He is not a good luck charm, He is not a throw away object to disregard whenever we feel that He has served His usefulness to our requests and desires. He is NOT to be treated with chumminess. In the Church and outside of the Church we have lost the sense and understanding of His GREAT HOLINESS, and we have LOST the FEAR OF GOD. I understand that for the Christian we are no longer under the condemnation of God, but Peter’s words in 1st Peter 2:1 tells us to Fear God. Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes Chapter 12, verse 13, that the whole duty of man is to Fear God and keep his commandments. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man. In Psalm 89:7 we are told, God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all [them that are] about him. In the New Testament book of Hebrews, Chapter 12, verse 28, we read, Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. This is one of the many things that has been lost to mankind, the FEAR and REVERENCE of God.

In the phrase out of his mouth we should see the One who is speaking. Before we proceed further into this phrase, we probably need to read the message to the world BEFORE the judgment of God is poured out in WRATH to the people of the world. And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, (Revelation 14:6) Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. (Revelation 14:7)

• The Seventh Mention: To remind you where we are in this article . . . we are following the phrase out of his mouth, and whose mouth this is this referring to. We left off with Chapter 19, verse 15, now let us look at the last mention of out of his mouth in this same Chapter, Chapter 19, verse 21, And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. Let’s stay focused. As you read through this 19th Chapter remember what the number nineteen represents. It is the number 10 (ten) attached to the number nine (9). Ten stands for God’s perfect divine order, the Law, and man’s responsibility to God’s divine order while the number nine stands for judgment and the finality in judgment. Keep this in mind as you read. The following verses have been selected to follow the phrase out of his mouth, and whose mouth this is this referring to.

And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: (Revelation 19:1) For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. (Revelation 19:2) It is the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments.

It is God who is true, and His judgments are righteous judgments. Of course, the seventh mention is Christ sitting victoriously on a white horse triumphantly conquering over man and sin.And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. (Revelation 19:21) The one who sits on this horse of white is called Faithful and True, and His name is called The Word of God. All glory, all praise, all honor, all purity is seen in Christ Himself. Surely, God saves the best till the last, the last mention of out of his mouth is the BEST of all that is good, all that is True and all that is Faithful. How can you doubt the words from the mouth of Truth? Even the horse that carries the King Eternal is a witness to His perfection. The phrase a white horse is only recorded twice in all of the Bible, Revelation 6:2 and Revelation 19:11.

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. (Revelation 6:1) And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (Revelation 6:2)

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. (Revelation 19:11) His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. (Revelation 19:12) And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. (Revelation 19:13)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (1st John 5:7) And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. (1st John 5:8) If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. (1st John 5:9)

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.(Revelation 19:14) And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. (Revelation 19:15) And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:16)

The Holy Spirit of God clearly states that the Faithful and True, the one who judges righteously is called The Word of God, and that He is the wrath of Almighty God, and the KING of KINGS, and LORD of LORDS. THIS IS GOD. THIS IS CHRIST Himself along with His armies come in judgment against the beast, the kings of the earth, their armies, the false prophet, and the remnant of the enemies of God. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. (Revelation 19:21) It is proper that the fowls were filled with their flesh because birds in scripture denotes uncleanness, corruption and death. (Genesis 40:16-20; Jeremiah 5:27; 12:9; Matthew 13:22, Romans 1:23) Therefore, in judgment the unclean consumes the unclean; evil feasts on evil; and corruption eats its own.

Out of His mouth proceeds GRACE and JUDGMENT. Out of His mouth are words of life and words of death. Out of His mouth comes forth everlasting life: life everlasting in glory or everlasting life in hell. The two-edged sword strikes again.

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; (Deuteronomy 30:15)

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (Deuteronomy 30:19)

And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death. (Jeremiah 21:8)

In closing, the seventh mention of out of his mouth is the perfection of Christ as Victor, and as Conqueror. What a way to see the last mention of out of his mouth. Now dare tell me that the Bible was written by mere man alone without the guidance of the Holy Spirit of God. Now dare tell me that the Bible is myth. Now dare tell me that there is no God. Now dare tell me that the Bible is archaic and is incomprehensible.  Now dare tell me that The Lord Jesus Christ is not God. God had put before you the way of life, and the way of death. Choose you this day, life or death.
