There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)
This series called Men of Renown will begin with these verses in Chapter 6 of the book of Genesis because it is the perfect scene setter for whatever and whoever follows that enables men of renown to act in conflict against God and His Word. Verses 4 and 5 are an accurate definition of men of renown.

The War
The Great Tribulation
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 12:17)
  This dragon is not only a created angel but his rage against his Creator God and God’s High Priest Melchisedec drove him into a state of unrecoverable madness. Men are described as madmen, but how does one describe a mad angel? Lucifer was much more than angry; he became obsessed to the point of madness. His obsession was himself. He became obsessed with himself and with his high rank in the order of the angelic hosts. You can read all about his obsession and rage in previous articles.
  This article (I hope) will center around the WAR that the dragon (Lucifer/Satan) makes with Israel and with those who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is documented telling the Jews and Gentiles about war and wars in three places in scripture (Matthew 24:6; Mark 13:7, and Luke 21:9) but there is no mention of war or wars in the gospel of John because John is the book of the eagle, the book of the Holy Spirit, and the book of Christ’s priestly mediation.
Side Note: The four aspects of Christ: as King – the lion; as Servant on earth- the ox and/or calf, and as the servant of God in the heavens – the cherub; as God manifested in the likeness of man – man; and as the image of God – the eagle. And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle. (Ezekiel 10:14)Â
  In the book of Matthew, it is ‘behold your King’; in the book of Mark, it is ‘behold the servant;’ in the book of Luke it is ‘behold the man,’ and in the book of John it is ‘behold your God.’ These are just four of the ways that the Spirit of God presents the Lord Jesus Christ to us through the four gospels. (The four different aspects of Christ are not only revealed in the four gospels in the New Testament, but also in the Old Testament in the book of Ezekiel, and also in the last book of the Bible in Revelation Chapter 4.)
As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle. (Ezekiel 1:10)
And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. (Revelation 4:6) And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. (Revelation 4:7) ♦ End of Side Note: The four aspects of Christ.
  The Lord Jesus is recorded saying these words bringing understanding to the people of the world. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matthew 24:6) And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for [such things] must needs be; but the end [shall] not [be] yet. (Mark 13:7) But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end [is] not by and by. (Luke 21:9)
  In the previous article it is about WAR, and wars, and the instigator of all wars. However, the Lord Jesus describes a WAR to come as a GREAT TRIBULATION. And it is also interesting that the words great tribulation is only mentioned three (3) times throughout the entire Bible, and all of these three mentions are in the New Testament. There is also another interesting point of where these mentions are located in the Bible: Matthew (the first book of the New Testament, and the last book: Revelation).
  The first mention of the great tribulation is in the book of the King, the book of the kingdom of the King, the book of the gospel according to Matthew. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:21) This first mention, and primary application is specifically to the nation of Israel. Matthew Chapter 24 is NOT about the translation of the Church.
  The second documentation of the words great tribulation are found in Revelation Chapter 2:22. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. (Revelation 2:22) This is a triple witness against the Church in Thyatira. This is a prophecy within a prophecy. In this triple witness of 2 + 2 + 2 is also the sum of the totality of man (Adam) for man is the number 6. The Spirit of God warns the Church in Thyatira that those who refuse to repent will go into the great tribulation. This corrupt Church did not only exist at Thyatira, but it spiritually continued on in time into our own age. CLICK HERE and also HERE to read more about Thyatira. But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. (Revelation 2:24) So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. (Revelation 2:15) God made it very clear that He HATED the doctrine of the Nicolaitans. This doctrine has been previously posted in a number of articles (see the CLICK HERE above). Summary: the doctrine of the Nicolaitans was that they formed an order of priesthood designed after the Jewish order of priesthood, and they took the things from the Old Testament and reinvented them and tagged the name of Christ to these things; thus, creating a false form of Christianity that remains today in the minds and hearts of all people. Whenever anyone hears of the church of Rome they automatically assume that it is all of Christ. Christianity has many evil fowls perching under its branches, Rome isn’t the only unclean bird, the Church of England is another unclean bird of prey, and the list continues with one apostate church after another apostate church. Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: (Matthew 13:31) Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. (Matthew 13:32)
Side Note: The Tree Full of Birds. Many take this parable in the 13th Chapter of Matthew as a good thing. It isn’t a good thing. It is an evil thing. First, it is a man who takes this little seed and sows it in his field, therefore, the product that springs up is a product of man, and not of God. The seed is sown in man’s field, in man’s realm, in man’s world, the sinful world, the world of pride and arrogance. The product of man’s heart grows unnaturally, only the seed planted supernaturally can produce a supernatural product. And do not forget that Jeremiah 5:27, As a cage is full of birds, so [are] their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. ♦ End of Side Note.
  These Nicolaitans whom God HATED placed law above grace; they placed an order of clergy and layman over the rights of priesthood of every believer, therefore removing and denouncing the priesthood of all believers; thus, stealing the right of worship and service from every Christian. (The church goer of today no longer understands his place, his role, and his privilege in the church and he likes it this way. The stealing of worship and service away from the Christian has led to the condition of the current church: complacency and barrenness of spirit.) They re-framed the words of God, thus replacing the authority of the Holy Spirit of God with the authority whereby man can forgive sins, that man can decree what is clean and unclean; works over faith led to scores of souls believing that heaven and righteousness was available ONLY through membership and loyalty to their organization, and that faith in Christ is not enough, and that His divine sacrifice was NOT enough for salvation. No matter what organization authorizes the fish hat on their heads and the golden scepter in their hands, NO ONE has the right to make the word of God irrelevant. What God has proclaimed to be UNCLEAN and EVIL cannot be made clean nor righteous by UNCLEAN and EVIL men. The Nicolaitans continue to steal. They have stolen salvation away from the Lord Jesus Christ, they have stolen the ministry of the Holy Spirit of God, and they have stolen honor and majesty away from the Godhead bodily. (We, believers, KNOW that their theft is purposed and determined by God, for no force can steal what belongs to God.) Now, through acts of a cash contrition and by an installment payment forgiveness program man can acquire salvation. (Although this is not a riddle: riddle me this: who is the basest of ALL of mankind? Look at who the peoples of this world are told to accept as the highest elevated most esteemed respected person within Christendom and/or politics and THAT is the basest and most despicable individual of all of mankind.) Christianity is a supernatural revelation that leads to a personal relationship with God IN Christ.
  And there was much more that the Christian lost under the doctrine of the Nicolaitans. Therefore, the second mention of great tribulation in Revelation 2:22 is triply tied to the church that will be in existence at the end of the age . . . the world church. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. (Revelation 2:22) When the Church is translated the counterfeit church organization will remain and this is the world church . . . nothing will change, for neither this organization, nor the people who flock to it will escape the great tribulation. Religion will not save them from the wrath of God for there is no difference between the world and religion for they are all unclean. Never forget that there is a huge difference between religion and Christianity. Christianity is a supernatural revelation that leads to a personal relationship with God IN Christ. If the new birth is not supernatural then it isn’t of God.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? (John 3:4)
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:6)
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:7)
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (John 3:8)
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? (John 3:9)
Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? (John 3:10)
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. (John 3:11)
If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? (John 3:12)
  The third and last documentation of the words great tribulation is in Revelation Chapter 7, verse 14. And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. What a place to find those who came out of great tribulation in Chapter 7 (the number of God’s perfection) in the fourteenth verse (the double of God’s perfection). This last mention of great tribulation takes in those of Israel AND Gentiles of faith. The number 14 is a multiple of the number 7; and herein we have the double measure of spiritual perfection. What a way to end the words great tribulation knowing that the end of all things is always accomplished in God’s spiritual perfection. There is an interesting phrase from a prophecy in the book of Daniel 11:36 that states, for that that is determined shall be done. What God determines WILL BE DONE. The sovereignty of God can neither be denied, altered, nor stopped.
  To sum up who these two words great tribulation applies to: first, specifically to the nation of Israel (Matthew 24:21). Then secondly to the world church through the doctrines that the church of Thyatira held (Revelation 2:22), and lastly that there will be thousands (a remnant of Israel and a remnant of Gentiles) who will come out of this great tribulation. (Revelation 7:14) And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Some will come through the tribulation and many of those will come out of the great tribulation will come by way of death.

The Twelve Tribes of Jacob
Those Who Come Out of the Tribulation
  Since you followed my suggestion to read the entire 7th Chapter of Revelation, you will not be required to read what follows, but I am placing these verses as a research aid. Listed are the 12 tribes of Israel. From each tribe 12,000 (twelve thousand) were sealed; thus, making the total sealed 144,000 (one hundred and forty and four thousand). I know that this may not be necessary to write, but believe me . . . I have met more than one person who did not understand the numbers. This is NOT the Church that is being numbered, IT IS ISRAEL.
And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. (Revelation 7:4) Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:5) Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:6) Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:7) Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:8)
 For the astute, you may have noticed that the names of these twelve tribes are NOT the same names of the original tribes. One name is missing, and one name is added in substitution of the missing name in Revelation Chapter 7. WHAT tribe is the substitution and WHY?
  I am betwixt and between the challenge of why the Holy Spirit selects certain names of the twelve tribes in a specific order whenever these twelve tribes are listed in the Old Testament. There is a pattern of order, therefore, there MUST be a spiritual reason for each order. Also, particular patterns of order occur in certain chapters numbered for a definite purpose, and to add to this pattern, there is also the question of why a certain order of names in a particular book? My instinct is to go on and NOT to be distracted by this pattern of tribal names. My heart tells me that I am not yet spiritually ready for this challenge. Yet I also am aware of the moving of the Spirit of God in how He teaches me. He has shown me a pattern, an order, but what am I to understand? First, I am not to fear the unknown; secondly, I am to trust Him; thirdly, I must follow where He leads; and fourthly, I must rely on His leading. Let us proceed. I know that all that precedes in the Old Testament regarding the twelve tribes of Israel will come to its perfect ending in the 7th Chapter of the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
  Genesis Chapters 29 and 30 are the birth history of each tribe. Chapter 35 are the tribes according to their birth mothers. (The order of the birth of each tribe has many spiritual overtones, for instance, the tribe of Dan (the serpent) was the first son born of a handmaid, and NOT from one of Jacob’s two wives.) Chapter 1 of the book of Numbers is the order in how they were to fight. Chapters 2 and 3 was the order in where they camped, and in Numbers Chapter 7 was the order in which they as ‘princes,’ offered gifts for sanctification. Chapter 10 of Numbers was their order in how they journeyed. Numbers Chapter 26 was the order of their inheritance, and in Numbers Chapter 32 was the order in which the land was divided. However, Genesis Chapter 49 is the direct connection to Revelation Chapter 7 because in the very first verse the voice of the Holy Spirit of God said, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. Therefore, read the following, I have divided it according to each tribe. Let’s not be afraid together with whatever the Holy Spirit has for us in His word.
  As you read verses 2 through 28 in Chapter 49 of Genesis, notice that there is much more in these verses than the spiritual and physical state of each tribe, look closer and you will also see the historical nature of each tribe, and the spiritual historical significance of the nation of Israel in a brief summation: How the nation began in Jacob: strong but unstable as they wavered between serving God and serving the idols of Satan; then united as a people they became tools of Satan. In Judah was their praise (Priest) and scepter (King) and yet He (the Lord Jesus Christ, their Messiah) was covered with blood (the blood of His sacrifice). Then Israel became as ships in many harbors separated and divided from their own land. Dan, the serpent, overthrew the nation of Israel. I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD. (Genesis 49:18) Then salvation comes to the nation, they overcome, they are set free as a hind set at liberty. And through the blessings of Joseph (wearing the crown of the second in authority over the land) Israel will reign once more over their own land. Through the prophecy of Benjamin, we see the spoils divided by the victorious One, the Messiah, the King of Israel. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.(Isaiah 53:12) Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. (Psalm 2:8)

And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. (Genesis 49:1) Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father. (Genesis 49:2)
Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: (Genesis 49:3) Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch. (Genesis 49:4)
Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations. (Genesis 49:5) O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall. (Genesis 49:6) Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel. (Genesis 49:7)
Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee. (Genesis 49:8) Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? (Genesis 49:9) The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Genesis 49:10) Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: (Genesis 49:11) His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk. (Genesis 49:12)
Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon. (Genesis 49:13)
Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens: (Genesis 49:14) And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute. (Genesis 49:15)
Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. (Genesis 49:16) Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. (Genesis 49:17)
 Verse 18 is separated from verse 17 in that it is not a description of the tribe of Dan, neither is it prelude to the tribe of Gad. This verse sits by itself as a division, a separation, that after the tribe of Dan comes SALVATION. Notice that after Dan, we have the overcomers in Israel, we see royal good things to come, goodly words, and blessings.
I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD. (Genesis 49:18)
Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last. (Genesis 49:19)
  The first mention of the word overcome is found in Genesis 49:19 with the tribe of Gad. This can be considered a concise summary of the spiritual trials of Israel from birth to victory seen in the seventh son, Gad, born to Jacob. Gad (the nation of Israel) had been overcome by a physical and spiritual militarized organized adversaries from its origin. But at the last Gad (Israel) shall overcome. Although the name of Gad which means ‘troop’ for it also takes in ‘the massiveness of an overcoming,’ it is an interesting study, let’s not stop here to smell the ‘troop,’ so we will put the rose down and continue on. It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name. (Amos 9:6) God founded his troop in the earth in the twelve sons of Jacob.
  Gad was the 7th son born to Jacob, and in this number seven, God composes a silent melody in Gad through the first mention of the word OVERCOME. For it is God who overcomes the enemy of Israel. It is LORD who overcomes at the last. The last mention of the word overcome is found in Revelation 17:14, These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him [are] called, and chosen, and faithful. Although Gad was the 7th in the order of birth, in Genesis 49:19 he is listed in the 8th place. Why? Everything has a meaning: the order of birth, the order in prophecy in Genesis Chapter 49 and in the fulfillment of being sealed in Revelation Chapter 7. Gad was the 7th in birth order, he is the 8th in the prophecy in Genesis 49, and he is the 3rd in the list of the sealed in Revelation Chapter 7. Through the 3rd mention, Gad is symbolic of the 1st in the list, Judah, the PRAISE of God. How? Simply because Gad represents in this 3rd place the fullness of God’s PRAISE in Christ Jesus (the seed of Judah). Gad represents the FULLNESS of God Himself as the GODHEAD (as a TROOP) overcoming sin, the flesh and the devil. There is a spiritual reason for every name in its proper place, there is a spiritual reason for every word in the word of God. The word of God is inexhaustible.
  In this section of prophecy in Genesis 49, Gad is the 8th because he is placed after this verse. I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD. (Genesis 49:18) This prophecy of the twelve tribes lays the spiritual historical order in its proper place because AFTER the SALVATION of the LORD in His appearance BEFORE His millennial reign the LORD OVERCOMES so of course, Gad, must be listed as the 8th, because EVERYTHING is made a new beginning. (The number eight is the number of beginnings and of resurrection.) Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last. (Genesis 49:19) Everything listed AFTER I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD. (Genesis 49:18) typifies the victory of the Lord, and the blessings of Israel. In the fulfillment of all prophecy concerning the exaltation of the Messiah in the sealing of the twelve tribes in Revelation 7, Gad is documented as the third (3rd) tribe.Â
Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties. (Genesis 49:20)
Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words. (Genesis 49:21)
Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall: (Genesis 49:22) The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: (Genesis 49:23) But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) (Genesis 49:24) Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: (Genesis 49:25) The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren. (Genesis 49:26)
Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil. (Genesis 49:27)
All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them. (Genesis 49:28)
  Why did God the Holy Spirit place this section of the blessing of the tribes of Israel in the last days in Chapter 49? WHY forty-nine (49)? This blessing as it relates to the last days is in Chapter 49 because it is one number short of fifty (50). The words forty and nine is only mentioned ONCE in all scripture because it was a special year for every one of Israel for at the end of the forty-ninth year LIBERTY was proclaimed throughout the land. It was the year of JUBILE.
And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. (Leviticus 25:8)
Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. (Leviticus 25:9)
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. (Leviticus 25:10)
A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. (Leviticus 25:11)
For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. (Leviticus 25:12)　
In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession. (Leviticus 25:13)
  This is why the 49th Chapter is connected to Chapter 7 of the book of Revelation because through Chapter 7 we have the sealing of a hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. Genesis Chapter 49 reveals what will occur at the end of the symbolic forty-ninth year before the Christ of Israel takes His place on His throne in Jerusalem and sets His people free . . . LIBERTY finally . . . the year of jubile, the 50th year comes to Israel and shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. Genesis 49 is much more than prophecy, it is much more than historical, it reveals the foreknowledge and sovereignty of Jehovah, it places before ALL worshipers of God that what He begins, He will also end. And Revelation Chapter 7 reveals the beginning of the end.
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. (Revelation 7:1) And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, (Revelation 7:2) Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. (Revelation 7:3)
  When the hundred and forty and four thousand of the tribes of Israel are sealed, then and ONLY then will the wrath of God be poured out onto the people of the world. Genesis Chapter 49 also has this same message of the wrath of God hidden behind the words. For those of you who actually read the section in Genesis 49, you are probably saying that God’s wrath IS NOT mentioned in Genesis 49, but, you see, IT IS MENTIONED although unseen. As the number 49 is one number short of the number 50, the number of jubile, the number 49 also reveals to us the wrath of God against the evil of the world in the number 49 . . . 4 + 9 = 13. Whether you multiple these numbers or add these numbers God’s judgment is the final sum. (For example: 4 x 9 = 36; 3 + 6 = 9, or 3 x 6 = 18 and 1 + 8 = 9.) The UNSEEN message in number 49 is clear, THE JUDGMENT OF GOD IS SURE.
  And through the SEEN number of 49 we have the beginning of LIBERTY, and it is also the beginning of God’s great tribulation, God’s WRATH. Thus, the sealing of the 144,000 is the beginning of the end. (How the earth and sea is hurt during the great tribulation MAY follow later in this article. I am never sure where we will end up when starting an article, that is up to the Holy Spirit of God.) Chapter 7 of the book of the Revelation reveals the exact tribes who will be set at LIBERTY in the year of jubile, and what tribe or tribes will not be among those who stand on mount Zion with the Lamb of God before He sits on His throne on earth.
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads. (Revelation 14:1)
And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:Â (Revelation 14:2)
And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. (Revelation 14:3)
These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. (Revelation 14:4)
And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. (Revelation 14:5)
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, (Revelation 14:6)
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. (Revelation 14:7)
The Rejected Tribe of Dan
Dan – The Serpent
Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. (Genesis 49:16) Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. (Genesis 49:17)
  The Antichrist, the Beast, the man of sin, the 6 – 6 – 6 will be from the tribe of Dan. No Jew can correctly claim the tribe of their origin, although many Jews (especially those who are named after Levi and Kohen) would argue this point: their tribal affiliation has been lost for many centuries, however, God KNOWS, and it will be a great thing when God reveals to each of the twelve tribes their true identity.   Within the last listing of the tribes of Israel in Revelation Chapter 7, there are two names that are significant: first, Dan is missing from this list and secondly, Dan is replaced with the tribe of Manasses/Manasseh. Follow the link to a previous article concerning Dan which begins around page eight of the article: the family that branched off the root of Dan, the first mention of Dan, the character of Dan and the prophetic end of Dan. The tribe that is substituted for Dan is one of the two children born to Joseph while he was in the land of Egypt: Manasseh and Ephraim.
And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him. (Genesis 41:50) And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house. (Genesis 41:51) And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction. (Genesis 41:52)
  Although Manasseh was Joseph’s first-born son and considered to be the heir, God, however, CHOSE Ephraim, the second born to receive this particular blessing from the hand of Jacob/Israel but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations. Both sons were blessed by Jacob/Israel but Ephraim received the greater blessing. As you follow Ephraim through biblical history you discover why God did not substitute Ephraim for the tribe of Dan in Revelation Chapter 7, but instead God then CHOSE Manasseh: the first born and REJECTED Dan and REJECTED Ephraim. I hope that this does not become a distraction, but sometimes I am led into places because God knows that I will never again return to cover that same material. Therefore, let’s begin with Israel’s blessings to his grandsons and although Joseph sought to aid Israel’s selection of the first born, the Holy Spirit of God guided Israel’s hand to cross over from Manasseh’s head to the head of Ephraim in spite of Joseph attempt to aid Israel’s selection of the first born.
And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel’s right hand, and brought them near unto him. (Genesis 48:13)
And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn. (Genesis 48:14)
And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day, (Genesis 48:15)
The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth. (Genesis 48:16)
And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto Manasseh’s head. (Genesis 48:17)
And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head. (Genesis 48:18)
And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations. (Genesis 48:19)
And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh. (Genesis 48:20)
And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers. (Genesis 48:21)
Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow. (Genesis 48:22)
  Do not lightly read over verse 22, it is a double reference to a double blessing. Let us first consider the double blessing in the fulfillment of prophecy in Revelation Chapter 7 where the tribe of Joseph is SEALED with the seal of God. But also notice that Joseph’s first-born son, Manasseh is the tribe that takes the place of the tribe of Dan. Is this not one portion above thy brethren? Thus, there is also a double blessing, for added to the 12,000 from the tribe of Joseph, there is also an additional 12,000 added to the tribe of Joseph THROUGH Joseph’s first-born son Manasseh/Manasseh. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:6) Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:8) My math may be rusty, but I would say that Joseph’s portion is above his brethren by 12,000 more SEALED with the SEAL of God above the rest of the tribes of Israel. Remember this from Genesis Chapter 49 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall: (Genesis 49:22) The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: (Genesis 49:23) But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) (Genesis 49:24) Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: (Genesis 49:25) The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren. (Genesis 49:26) As Joseph was a type of Christ, we apprehend that through this blessing and prophecy by Jacob to his son the tribes of Israel we also as Savior to Israel.
The Rejected Tribe of Ephraim
  Although the Antichrist will be from the tribe of Dan, Ephraim was also rejected, and his brother Manasseh was selected in his place. The spiritual principle of the ‘second is established by removing the first’ has now been overtaken before the millennial kingdom with the earthly principle of the recognition of heirship being preeminent. Why does God just before the millennial kingdom is set up move from the spiritual principle to the earthly principle in bypassing Ephraim, the second born of Joseph, and select the first born of Joseph, Manasseh? The spiritual lesson came first (when Jacob selected Ephraim, the second born son, over the first-born son, Manasseh). Now the millennial kingdom will be the earthly exaltation of the Messiah of the nation of Israel, and the Jewish nation will enjoy their earthly blessings. (Why emphasis that it is earthly blessings that Israel has been predestined for? Simply because many people of faith in our age associate material and worldly possessions as evidence of being blessed of God; spiritual blessings in heavenly places are not enough. Christ is not enough. The book of James, verse 5, Chapter 2 is the evidence of real blessings, Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?)
 Remember the principle of everything begins in the spiritual realm first, then continues on in the tangible or material realm. I believe that this substitution from Ephraim being first blessed by the hand of Jacob, to the blessing of Manasseh by the hand of the One who holds ALL blessings, the Lord Jesus Christ proves this principle. Consider this: as the supernatural spiritual Church is removed from the earth, the old world of the Old Testament will emerge once again renewed by the power and glory of all that they had once denied and rejected in the Messiah of the Jews and the King of kings and Lord of lords over His creation and creatures, and through His rightful inheritance and of sonship the Lord Jesus Christ will fulfill and complete every promise to Abraham. So it is fitting that Manasseh (who was the first-born son of Joseph) should take his rightful place in the order of heirship in Revelation Chapter 7 as the tangible evidence of the spiritual lesson of heirship. This old-world concept that blessings rightfully and legally belongs to the first born son discloses that the millennial kingdom will operate under the Old Testament economy. Although God is long suffering to the extreme measure of mercy, there is an end to God’s mercy.
  There is another point that we cannot easily dismiss. God’s long suffering does come to an end. Although Ephraim, the second son of Joseph was blessed doubly over the first-born son, Manasseh, it was Ephraim’s character in actions that led to God’s heart to turn within Him. How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? [how] shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? [how] shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together. (Hosea 11:8) Admah and Zeboim were two of the five cities of the plains that were destroyed when Sodom and Gomorrah were annihilated. (Deuteronomy 29:23) Although God is long suffering to the extreme measure of mercy, there is an end to God’s mercy. Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? (Romans 2:4) But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; (Romans 2:5) Who will render to every man according to his deeds: (Romans 2:6)
  The following references are but a few specifically selected to show the character of the tribe of Ephraim. Although many resist the notion of national traits, it is a true statement and therefore, it should come as no surprise that the tribe of Ephraim had the following marks of pride, drunkenness, idolatrous, whoredoms, liars, and deceivers. The tribe that was doubly blessed of God would also become the tribe doubly engrossed in sinful acts against the God who blessed them.
Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty [is] a fading flower, which [are] on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! (Isaiah 28:1)
The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:Â (Isaiah 28:3)
[Is] Ephraim my dear son? [is he] a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD. (Jeremiah 31:20)
Ephraim [is] joined to idols: let him alone. (Hosea 4:17)
I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, [and] Israel is defiled. (Hosea 5:3)
Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be. (Hosea 5:9)
Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned. (Hosea 7:8)
Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints. (Hosea 11:12))
When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died. (Hosea 13:1)
  Ephraim is not among the tribes to be sealed BEFORE the millennial kingdom, and neither will the tribe of Dan be sealed. Dan is the serpent, Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, and will not be among the sealed 144,000. Ephraim, Ephraim [is] joined to idols: let him alone, will not be among the 144,000 sealed by God BEFORE the millennial kingdom to enter into their day of jubile.
Israel
And the Great Tribulation
  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:21) The following is the entire 7th Chapter of the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Knowing that many people hate to read, and they especially dislike reading more than one small paragraph; nevertheless, students of the Bible ENJOY READING, and those who are not students, but merely curious, will never be able to satisfy their curiosity unless they actually read, and some may take the foolish method and that is to accept what is said or written without scriptural proof. There are many names in this seventh Chapter, and every name is important . . . so read!

  The following reference verses from verse 5 to verse 8 is the LAST time that the twelve tribes of Israel are listed in the Bible. The placement of the names are totally different from how the names were first listed according to birth, or according to their encampment, or the order of their military assignments. This LAST record is completely based on which tribe is FIRST in this list. Juda/Judah leads this list, and every tribe that follows represents the Person, the character and the accomplishment of Judah. Judah means ‘Praise.’ For [it is] evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. (Hebrews7:14) Christ is from the tribe of Judah. And in Revelation 5:5, He is double grace (5 : 5); He is the essence of grace as the square of 5 (52 which is 5 x 5 =25) for grace and truth came by Jesus Christ; He is the upholder and authority of the government of God (5 + 5 =10). And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. (Revelation 5:5) And in the very LAST documentation of Judah is in Revelation 7:5, He is the perfection of grace. Remember in the prophecy of Genesis 49, that Judah ‘Praise’ is within 5 verses (GRACE). And in Genesis 49, Judah is mentioned three (3) times (GODHEAD).
Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee. (Genesis 49:8) Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? (Genesis 49:9) The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Genesis 49:10) Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: (Genesis 49:11) His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk. (Genesis 49:12)
  The LAST documentation of the tribe Judah cannot be any other except the Lord Jesus Christ for all praise and honor and glory belongs to Him alone. And therefore, every tribe that is mentioned speaks of His praise, His accomplishments, His honor and His glory.  The first documentation of the word ‘PRAISE’ is at the birth of Judah in Genesis 29:35. And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing. We should also note that the words PRAISE and JUDAH are connected to each other five (5) times in all of scripture; signifying through the UNSEEN that Christ (from the line of Judah) was grace personified.Â
Of the tribe of Juda (PRAISE) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben (See a Son) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad (A Troop) were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:5) JUDAH . . . PRAISE . . . SEE A SON . . . in His strength He will OVERCOME.Â
Of the tribe of Aser (Happiness, Prosperity) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim (My Wrestling) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses (Causing to Forget) were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:6) In Christ there is joy for ever more. He wrestled in the travail of His soul against sin, and He will remember our sins no longer. I, [even] I, [am] he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. (Isaiah 43:25)Â
Of the tribe of Simeon (Hearkening, God Hears) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi (Joined) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar (There is Reward, Rewarded or He will bring reward) were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:7) Christ hears the cries of His people and are joined together with them and He is a Rewarder of all blessings.Â
Of the tribe of Zabulon (Habitation, Dwelling) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph (Increaser, Adding) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin (Son of my right hand) were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:8) Christ is our dwelling place, and through Him blessings are added to His people for He is the Son of the right hand of God.  According to thy name, O God, so [is] thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. (Psalm 48:10)
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;Â (Revelation 7:9)
And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. (Revelation 7:10)Â
And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, (Revelation 7:11)
Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 7:12)
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? (Revelation 7:13)
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (Revelation 7:14)
Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. (Revelation 7:15)
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. (Revelation 7:16)
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. (Revelation 7:17)
  From the first verse to the last verse this Chapter perfectly describes our Lord and Savior through historical connections, through the numbering sequences, through symbolism, through the meaning of names, and through the order of presentation. The Holy Spirit of God fills this 7th Chapter with the unfathomable essence of God IN Christ.
  This 7th Chapter is one that raises points of disagreement in many Bible circles, yet all differences stem from neither closely reading, nor knowing biblical history. So, let’s proceed. First, notice that this seventh Chapter is numbered as the seventh for a specific purpose, even thousands of years after John, through the guidance of the Spirit, wrote this Chapter to be later numbered as the 7th Chapter God the Holy Spirit not only wrote it prophetically and historically but in His foreknowledge of all things yet to come in the future such as the numbering system of His word. Just this number alone should say to you that this is a special Chapter, God’s perfection is seen in this Chapter, His promises to Israel have been perfectly accomplished, His promises to the people of faith has been perfectly fulfilled, the Lamb’s sacrificial death perfected the determinate counsels of God in their redemptive plan for man. Yes, God is Perfect. Nothing can be added to His perfection.
  From verse 3 to verse 8, a specific group from a specific nation are SEALED with the SEAL of the Living God by the Holy Spirit BEFORE the tribulation period begins. Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. (Revelation 7:3) The Beast seals his people with his mark of the 6 – 6 – 6, ( And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: (Revelation 13:16) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:17) the great counterfeiter cannot stop trying to imitate God and His Christ. Interesting that the slaves of the Beast are also given a special numbered Chapter just for them, Chapter 13.
  After the servants of God are sealed in their foreheads with the seal of God THEN the wrath of God falls fully over the entire world. Ever wonder why the Holy Spirit of God is very specific where those of faith are sealed . . .  in their foreheads.
Side Note: The Forehead. The Law of First Mention is the study tool that we will use. Of course, we find the first mention of forehead in the book of Exodus, Chapter 28, verse 38. And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be. (Exodus 28:37) And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD. (Exodus 28:38) The first priest of Israel, Aaron, in his role of service to God wore on his head a mitre, and a crown, representing the priestly crown of God’s High Priest Melchisedec: Christ . . . bearing the iniquity of the holy things. And thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre. (Exodus 29:6) And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, [even] upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses. (Leviticus 8:9) Notice that the crown was placed over the mitre . . . representing the spiritual order in God’s realm.
  Aaron in his role of priest bore the responsibility of keeping the holy things in the Tabernacle and in the offerings pure and free from iniquity . . . it was his responsibility and his alone that the holy things of God would remain pure from sin. The very first sin of the earthly sanctuary came through the drunken state of Nadab and Abihu (the two sons of Aaron), and their total disregard of God’s holiness. Placing fire from another source than from what God had dictated revealed that they didn’t consider God’s directives had any value. They knew the difference between clean and unclean, and between holy and unholy and yet they did not care what God said. This is the same sin of religious man today acting out his own will placing before God a false salvation (strange fire) instead of God’s way. God says that there is only one way into His presence and the unclean man refutes His word by saying that there are many ways to enter into the presence of God. The religious man also refutes God’s word and offers to God unholy fire, fire of his own making, fire lit by his own dung . . . the waste product from his own body . . . for the religious man sees no difference between the holy and the unholy because his approach to God centers around himself: he bases salvation either on being born into his religion (not of blood) or through his own works – nor of the will of the flesh (charity, his own goodness, money, tithing, etc.), or because the wishes and pronouncements of others have declared his salvation – nor of the will of man. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:13) (Read Leviticus 10:1 – 3, and 8 – 10)
The first mention of forehead connects man to the divine High Priest of God: Melchisedec. The forehead is the outward visible covering that protects the control center of mankind: the brain. This organ is the most complex organ in the human body, and no one moves, speaks, emotes, acts, or thinks without the control of this complex organ that we call the brain. And yet, God simply says the forehead because what is behind the forehead is open and visible to God. Man only sees that which is outward, but God sees the inward: what is behind the forehead the things that control man. The word brain is not in the Bible; however, the word mind is recorded 38 times in the Old Testament and 54 times in the New Testament for a total of 92. Do you know that there is a Law of the Mind? (Romans 7:23) But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. (Romans 7:23) Through scripture we are made aware of how the mind is the control center of the activity of the body. Scripture states that there is ‘desire of the mind,’ ‘sorrow of mind,’ ‘willing mind,’ wicked mind,’ ‘hardened mind,’ doubtful mind,’ readiness of mind,’ humility of mind,’ reprobate mind,’ ‘carnal mind,’ renewing of the mind,’ ‘fervent mind,’ ‘ready mind,’ ‘vanity of the mind,’ ‘lowliness of mind,’ ‘fleshly mind,’ and a ‘sound mind.’ The carnal fleshly wicked mind can be renewed but only through the new birth by the Spirit of God. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:7) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; (Ephesians 4:23) And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: (Colossians 3:10) Scripture is also clear that the newborn child of God has the mind of Christ . . . it does not say ‘the brain’ of Christ, but the mind of Christ. And what is the mind of Christ? And having the mind of Christ, we are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our mind, with all our soul, and with all our strength; and thus, we obey and do the will of God. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment. (Mark 12:30)
 Since the first mention of forehead represents Melchisedec, the High Priest of God in His service to God in the realm of priesthood; therefore, the forehead of man denotes the mind of man loving God and serving the will of God. This is the first and primary application of the word forehead.
  Let us read about the last mention of forehead in the Old Testament. And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head. (Ezekiel 16:12) Chapter 16 is the complete spiritual and physical history of the nation of Israel. The Holy Spirit of God through 63 verses describes the birth of Israel, the rise and fall of Israel historically and then prophetically He declares: Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant. (Ezekiel 16:60) And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: (Ezekiel 16:62) That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 16:63) For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: (Hebrews 8:10) But it is in verse 12 that their glory as a nation is described before they rejected the Him, their Creator God, their Savior God when Ichabod was pronounced over Israel, that glory had departed. (1st Samuel 4:21, 22; Ezekiel 10:18, Hosea 10:5) God put His jewel on their forehead. And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head. (Ezekiel 16:12) In this last mention of forehead we also have the crown of royalty, the earrings of the voice of the Spirit of God in their ears, and the precious stone of the knowledge of the holy on their forehead. They were the ONLY nation EVER to exist that God claimed as His own. HE WAS and IS their JEWEL. And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head. These words in Ezekiel 16:12 are directly connected to the first mention of forehead in Exodus 28:38. And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD. (Exodus 28:38) Earrings are symbolically connected to a willing servant; but earrings when described as golden earrings were mostly connected to idolatry. Whenever a slave chose to remain in service with all his possessions and with his family, rather than to be set free then his ear was bored through with an aul and a ring inserted so that their status as a willing servant could be seen by all. And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free: (Exodus 21:5) Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever. (Exodus 21:6) In Ezekiel 16:12, it implies a willing servant for the Aaronic priesthood was set as a willing service to God. Christ served God His Father in His priestly function as the High Priest of God through the oath and order of Melchisedec, He was the righteous servant of God before His manifestation and during His earthly manifestation on earth. But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: (Philippians 2:7) He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. (Isaiah 53:11) Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. (Isaiah 42:1)
  Now let us sum up the first mention and the last mention of forehead. Through the earthly priesthood the Jewel of the heavenly divine High Priest in Melchisedec was revealed. Through the service of the earthly priesthood the heavenly divine High Priest in Melchisedec could be seen serving God in the Tabernacle in the heavenly realm. And through the beautiful crown on the head of the earthly high priest the divine Royal King of Israel was made known. All this through the word forehead for every word is breathed of God to reveal God in ALL of His glory. God desired that all who looked would be able to see clearly and distinctly what was written on the forehead of the Godhead bodily. CHRIST IS THE POLISHED JEWEL, CHRIST IS THE PERFECT SERVANT, and CHRIST IS THE PREEMINENT KING OF KING. ♦ End of the Side Note: The Forehead.
  Now let us see the sum of the Old Testament connection to our study section in the 7th Chapter of the book of the Revelation of the reason and purpose of tribes of Israel the 144,000 individuals who are sealed by God as servants of God with His name in their foreheads. Only the book of the Revelation in the New Testament has the words forehead and/or foreheads. Twice the word foreheads are specifically connected to the sealed tribes of Israel: Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. (Revelation 7:3) And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty [and] four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads. (Revelation 14:1) Then in the Revelation 21:1 we see a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. The last mention of the word foreheads is recorded in Revelation 22:4, And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: (Revelation 22:3) And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. (Revelation 22:4) Christ is the precious stone whose name will be in the foreheads of the redeemed for CHRIST IS OUR POLISHED and FLAWLESS JEWEL.
  As now, we, who are the children of faith, both Jew and Gentile are become one in Christ, so also, in the new heaven and the new earth will be united together in the eternal realm bearing His name upon our beings. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28) And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:29) Once more, the Law of First Mention bonds together the One who wears the divine Holy Crown of Royalty placed over His mitre of Priestly purity. Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. (Zechariah 6:13)
The Great Tribulation
  What is this great tribulation all about? What will happen doing this time frame? Will a Christian be able to survive? How can anyone survive? Can enough supplies be stored in order to outlast this great tribulation? How long will this great tribulation last? So many questions, and yet, many will not go to the source to answer all their questions . . . the word of God. But where to look in the Bible? The Lord Jesus Christ Himself told us where to look. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) (Matthew 24:15) But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: (Mark 13:14) There are many articles written on this website concerning this period of time, therefore, I suggest that you follow the links.
  Since the beginning of man, trouble has been his constant companion. Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward. (Job 5:7) Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. (Job 14:1) Adam and Eve created their own trouble by their disobedience to God, and ever since then, their descendants whether or not of their own making have had to face the consequences of the disobedience of our original parents. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; (Genesis 3:17) Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; (Genesis 3:18) In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. (Genesis 3:19)
  Troubles and problems are considered to be unavoidable and almost a daily occurrence to be experienced by every person on this planet. Some troubles are not of their own making, and some because of their own making. Yes, we are born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward . . . guaranteed. Yet, these troubles and problems will become as nothing to those who go into the time of great tribulation. You think that the world is crumbling all around you. You think that the world has gone mad. If you are not a child of God saved by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, then you ain’t seen nuthin yet. If you are a child of a God, born of the Spirit of God, then the great tribulation is not in your future. It is only needful for the child of God to know what is to befall all of mankind in order to inform those outside of the family of God what lies ahead for them and for their children.
  You probably have heard of the ‘great reset:’ this is part of the agenda of those who have made themselves ‘horns’ of authority over our world. Their idea of a ‘great reset’ is to change our thinking process to accept all the fabulous things that is planned for the ‘little people.’ The brain chip will not only allow the people of this world to become more pliable and docile, but it will also sanction control over the end of productive life. We are currently in an age of transition, whether forcefully or willingly, we are being molded into accepting a new world, or a new age, or a new one world government, call it all of these things, but it is really none of these things . . . their planned age of transition is to return mankind to the old world, to the old age, and to the first one world government system of Babel, Shinar and Babylon. There is nothing NEW about the ‘great reset.’ Man may plot and plan, but God determines . . . . for that that is determined shall be done. (Daniel 11:36) For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. (Revelation 17:17) Man deceives himself with his plans to ‘reset’ the world into his own making. However, God has His reset plan as well. What is God’s reset plan?
  The stage must be set before the action proceeds. First, when the Church is translated, the world will revert back to the days of the Old Testament when supernatural events were recognized as being of God. Chapter 2:19 – 21 in the book of Isaiah and Chapter 6 in the book of the Revelation verses 15 – 17 describe the very same span of time when men will attempt to escape the wrath of God by hiding in dens and caves as they scream out in fear, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb. (Revelation 6:16) Atheists, agnostics, deniers of God and the religionist will KNOW WHY they are hiding, and they KNOW WHO they are hiding from . . . for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. (Isaiah 2:21) Hollywood has made themselves rich through apocalyptic films because people are very drawn to these types of films, yet the world is about to experience the terror and utter fear when they are faced with the actual reality of God acting in WRATH against the world. They will KNOW that it is GOD, they will fear the LORD, and they will be terrified of HIS MAJESTIC POWER over the earth, and yet, repentance is not in their minds.
  The Church, which is the Body of Christ, people of faith, the born-again ones, the children of God, and are also called the sons of God will have a door opened in heaven to them. Although the Church is no longer on the earth as a witness and a testimony to the world of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ how then will salvation come to those who remain . . . left behind? No Christian will be left. But how will those who were not of the Church be saved? Salvation has ALWAYS been made available to man. How was salvation acquired by Abel? Abel was the first man of faith. It is by FAITH, and it has always been FAITH that is the continuous thread throughout all of man’s time on earth that has made man righteous before God.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:Â (Romans 5:1) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Romans 5:2)
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26)
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:Â (Philippians 3:9)
By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. (Hebrews 11:4) By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. (Hebrews 11:5)
  Those who are saved by the FAITH of Jesus after the Church is removed will not, of course, be considered part of the Church for the age of the Church will close with the translation of the Church into glory. Let’s read the last mention of the word faith which is recorded in Revelation Chapter 14, verse 12, Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Side Note: Faith. Whenever I write or say ‘people of faith’ I am, of course, speaking of God’s faith, as in the Law of Faith. Yes, there is a Law of Faith. There are four laws not written in the stones of the Law of Moses: The Law of Sin and Death, the Law of Faith, the Law of Life in Christ Jesus, and the Law of Liberty. (There will be links to these laws.) The enemy (Satan) has stolen many things from the children of God, and he has stolen many things from his own children. One of the things that he has stolen is the word and concept of faith. Man drops this word faith on every occasion that he wishes to show ‘hope.’ Instead of saying, ‘I hope,’ or ‘I wish’ man says, ‘I have faith,’ however, many only mean ‘faith in their religious organization.’ Whenever that is said to me, I usually follow with, ‘WHO is your faith,’ or ‘What do you place your faith’ in, or ‘What or WHO is the OBJECT of your faith?’ And the world loves to cling to this word of ‘faith,’ thus giving them a false sense that they are somehow spiritually accepted by God. Please, Christian, do this, whenever anyone says ‘My faith,’ or ‘I have faith’ do not allow them to stop there. Insist that they state WHO their faith is IN and that they face the emptiness of their words that faith means nothing unless it is the FAITH OF CHRIST JESUS.
Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: (Romans 3:22)
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (Galatians 2:16)
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. (Galatians 3:22)
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: (Philippians 3:9) ♦ End of Side Note: Faith.
  Faith is the constant and fixed avenue to salvation whether Jew or Gentile. First, God presents Israel as being sealed and secure, then in verses 9 and 10, of Revelation Chapter 7, He brings in the Gentile world. After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; (Revelation 7:9) Note God’s order: Israel first, then AFTER THIS, an innumerable number from ALL GENTILE nations, tribes and kindreds, and people, and tongues (languages) . . . people of faith. And all people of faith, regardless of Jew or Gentile are ALL called SAINTS.
  Sainthood is not to a specific selected individual chosen by a religious organization. Sainthood can neither be purchased, nor achieved through political means. The first documentation of the word saint is found in Psalm 106:16, They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD. EVERY person of faith is called a SAINT by God the Holy Spirit. And there is no such thing in all of the word of God that the worship of a SAINT or individual is approved by God. This is idolatry for worship belongs ONLY to the GODHEAD bodily.
  And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. (Revelation 22:8) Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. (Revelation 22:9) As the apostle John was receiving the words from a messenger of God, John was not able to distinguish between those of the supernatural spiritual world (angels) and those who were in this spiritual world from his own brethren and fellow servants (saints) because they had been transformed as Christ had promised into the image of the heavenly. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. (Romans 8:29) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2nd Corinthians 3:18) And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. (1st Corinthians 15:49)
 We have covered saints and faith because this is also setting the stage for what the great tribulation entails. The Church is no longer on the earth, although there will be MANY churches in every town, hamlet and city falsely proclaiming that there is no such thing as ‘a translation’ and that ‘neither has a translation occurred’ because they are the evidence of their own lie.
  The saints of the Church Age pass through a spiritual curtain from the tangible material world of time into a state of timeless eternity to be joined together with saints from ages past. This vast Church Age encompasses the dead in Christ and those who are alive at the end of this Church Age. God is faithful, He not only states the fact, but He also provides the evidence of the fact. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, (1st Corinthians 15:51) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1st Corinthians 15:52) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (1st Corinthians 15:53)
  Although, the people of faith who are alive today will not go into this GREAT TRIBULATION we are, however, seeing the evidence of a coming world catastrophe. Do you not see what we have been conditioned for? Not only wars, but crimes of hatred are committed on an hourly basis . . . mass murders, individual against another individual, blood shedding no longer sells newspapers, nor does it sell ads on a propaganda network. Murder, killing, and rape no longer is considered newsworthy unless it has a sick twist of madness to the story. Welcome to the new reset world of acceptable BLOOD shedding. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. (Revelation 6:4) We are living the prelude to the GREAT TRIBULATION.
  In the United States at this time there have been an unusual amount of food processing plants eliminated by fire. (We will see much more.) You may consider this not important, but it is extremely urgent. When the propaganda networks lightly mention ‘an electrical fire,’ or an ‘accidental fire,’ and swiftly move away to a more important commercial, does not the hair on the back of your neck twitch? Many individuals haven’t the faintest idea of the massive consequences of these ‘accidental’ fires. We are living the prelude to the GREAT TRIBULATION. When food is scarce then guess what happens next? STARVATION! Governments are deliberately enforcing their goal of population control through laws, such as what has happened to the farmers in the Netherlands as their farms are being taken from them ‘legally.’ (So sorry, maybe you haven’t seen that on your news propaganda station, I forgot that if it isn’t on the TV then it never happened.) Scarcity of farms and farmland leads to scarcity of food which leads to STARVATION. Who owns the land owns the food, who controls the food controls man. Golly gee, why is China buying up land in the United States, golly gee, why is Gates buying up land? Golly gee, why are laws made to encourage the destruction of the United States? (Just a reminder: our Congress hasn’t written laws in decades, laws are written by lobbyists and passed by their employees: Congress.)Â
  And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. (Revelation 6:5) And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. (Revelation 6:6) These verses should be included in every economic course. Both wheat and barley have different nutritional value, however, the cost difference is in how they are processed. Notice that wheat and barley are valued by a set measure, but the oil and wine are not. One point is that for the poor all is measured at the point of sale, but NOT the oil and wine. Another point is that we have two distinct levels of economics: the poor and the rich. There are only two categories that define economics during the GREAT TRIBULATION: slaves and masters.Â
  The book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is not written as a mystery novel where the villain is only revealed on the last page, but it is presented to the reader to show us that God is in control at every step, even though the bad steps that mankind MUST go through. In Chapter 6 (the number of man) we have very basic summary of what is going to transpire in the future. God doesn’t want us to see this as being a mystery. . . . He desires us to be aware, to know, and to understand what is before unrepentant man. In Revelation Chapter 16 God’s WRATH is poured out in vials against the earth: and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. Those who take the mark of the beast will also take on a toxic, sickly and lethal substance. But that should not come as a surprise to those who are aware of what the pharmaceutical and medical establishment has done to their victims of the ‘vaccine’ experiment. Yet, the world will gladly take into their veins death and sickness because of their blindness to believe a lie. And the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. And the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And plagues, And darkness, And a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent. (Revelation 16) AND yet, there is much more to come for man. This is God’s justice finally placed on man. After reading this, do you believe that man does not deserve what God has in store for humanity? Man has become morally, sexually, physically, and spiritually twisted in every aspect of his existence. He no longer can discern between truth and lies; clean and unclean; goodness and evil . . . there is no depth that man does not desire to sink to . . . there is nothing that man will not do to spit in the face of His Creator.
  For those of us who are believers in Christ and saved by His blood through the mercy and grace of God, we have been born into this time frame for one purpose. We are witnesses in a time frame of great evil and perversion to have the knowledge of a great and merciful God. As the first Christians faced the treachery within the early church, we must also face the treachery within Laodicea, and to call out the evil within, to reject this evil, and to walk away from this evil. Our calling may be different, but we have one purpose: we are to be lights of truth and bearers of the word of God by being faithful and true witnesses of God and of His Christ.
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. (1st Corinthians 16:13)
