in the Third and Last Woman
in the book of the Revelation

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)

This series called Men of Renown will begin with these verses in Chapter 6 of the book of Genesis because it is the perfect scene setter for whatever and whoever follows that enables men of renown to act in conflict against God and His Word. Verses 4 and 5 are an accurate definition of men of renown.

The game plan is to cover all SIX mentions of a woman, and the woman in Revelation Chapter 17 of Revelation.

1. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. (Revelation 17:3)
2. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: (Revelation 17:4)
3. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. (Revelation 17:6)
4. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. (Revelation 17:7)
5. And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (Revelation 17:9)
6. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. (Revelation 17:18)

Here is the Mind Which Hath Wisdom
The Heads are Seven Mountains

5. And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (Revelation 17:9)

6. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. (Revelation 17:18)

This verse begins with an introduction into what follows. And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. There are two elements that has been removed from man: a godly mind and wisdom, a mind with wisdom, a wise mind. This is a foreign concept as scores of minds have been neutered and made void and unfruitful. Wisdom is now only achieved by accepting what the State of Sin tells you what wisdom is. This State of Sin is both the governmental State of Sin and the inherent state of sin within man.
Why is the woman (Babylon) connected to mountains? The connection is threefold: mountains (plural) represent strength, stability and power. An interesting point is that the word mountains occurs in the New Testament thirteen (13) times: the number of evil. However, it is through the Old Testament that we have the spiritual definition and through the number of documentations in the Old Testament we also understand the massiveness of evil since there are more that 154 mentions of the word mountains. Always go to the first mention of a word to get a spiritual understanding of a word. (Please be aware that many who read from other books rather than the King James Bible will NOT always be able to follow the Law of First Mention because the people who wrote these books were NOT directed by the Holy Spirit of God. That should tell you something about those who change words to suit copyright qualifications, and to lessen the perfection of God’s written word, and in doing so, they attempt to lessen the perfection of God’s Living Word, the Lord Jesus Christ. I challenge you to attempt to follow the Law of First Mention from other sources called Bibles, some may be able to follow for a limited distance and others not at all. One of the main Bible research and tracking tools is the Law of First Mention deliberately placed in the word of God by the Spirit of God. It is easy to recognize the so-called ‘newer and better translations’ of the men of renown from the word of God when it becomes almost impossible to track a word from its first mention to its last mention when ‘translators’ merely use synonyms as substitution and have no comprehension of God’s message within a message through spiritual word progression.)
The first mention of mountains is in Genesis 7:20, Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. The last mention in the Old Testament is in the last book Malachi 1:3, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. Holy Spirit of God sets up mountains with the spiritual connotation connected to judgment, and in the Malachi 1:3, He ties Jacob (Israel – heritage) to their adversary Esau and adds to their judgment this profound phrase waste for the dragons of the wilderness. In this phrase we see a den of dragons, the offspring of the great dragon, the old serpent, which is Satan, the Devil. The Holy Spirit of God is the Master Wordsmith and the Weaver of Words. He carefully presents the first divine judgment with the last divine judgment in the connection of mountains and dragons. When God executes His judgment, it is nothing less than perfect . . . divine.
Then the Holy Spirit of God follows this up in the New Testament through the thirteen mentions of mountains beginning with the gospel of Matthew 18:12, How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? (Matthew 24:16; Mark 5:5, 11; 13:14; Luke 21:21, 23:30; 1st Corinthians 13:2; Hebrews 11:38; Revelation 6:15, 16; 16:20, 17:9) Also for those who follow the sublimity of numbers the first mention of mountains is in Genesis 7:20 and the last mention is in the 66th book, the book of the Revelation, Chapter 17, verse 9. From the first witness of God’s perfect order in judgment to the completeness of His divine perfect order of judgment God discloses through numbers that His word centers around His perfection in all of His actions, even PERFECT judgment.

The Seven Heads Are Seven Mountains

The Mountains of Global Control and Power

Try to remember the reason for following the word mountains. And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (Revelation 17:9) Now watch how God weaves his weft of words (sometimes called the woof) through the stationary warp of His perfection by connecting these words: mountains . . . Assyrian . . . Nimrod . . . Babylon. The first ruler over a united confederation was the rebel known as Nimrod of the city of Babel later called the land of the Chaldeans founded by the Assyrians, and also later known as the land of Babylon.
Try to follow the trail laid down by the Holy Spirit of God . . . the woman sits on seven MOUNTAINS. She OWNS these seven MOUNTAINS. She has CONQUERED the seven MOUNTAINS of power over the entire globe. Mystery Babylon, the mother of harlots, the whore of religion, all religions, all forms of unacceptable worship are her children, her baby dragons. (CLICK HERE to follow the first mention of dragon in scripture. CLICK HERE to follow the seven mountains.)

The seven mountains in Revelation 17:9 are seven governing powerful empires or dynasties through the reign of subservient dragons . . . or we could also write as being the seven dragons. Their reigns have been the most world encompassing houses of power that mankind has ever existed under. Again, we need to continue to remind readers that the Bible is a book of the East, it is not a book of the Western mind. Although the nations of the west and of the far east, such as the United States and Southeastern nations and China have affected the history of the Eastern nations, the central focus of the God’s word has always been around His nation Israel, and Israel’s historical enemies. There are many previous articles that address this issue of the nations who were and are Israel’s enemies.
The seven heads ARE seven mountains . . . again, the Holy Spirit of God used the word ARE to show us through a grammatical tense and the sense of the continuation of time. (Tenses are important in scripture.)

Side Note: The importance of tense structure in scripture. Maintaining tense structure in the Bible is essential. This is where most faux-Bible-translations fail. I am not referring to the Hebrew or Greek language, but I am referring to the English language only. Most Bible translations have five (5) to (6) six parts of speech while the King James has eleven parts of speech. Here is where the ‘eth’ and ‘est’ at the end of a word plays an important part in Bible comprehension. For those who say that they cannot understand the simple ‘thou’ and ‘thee,’ that only reveals their double-digit IQ intelligent status. I would be embarrassed to make that statement.
Let us take the word ‘to’ that in many ‘bibles’ replaces the word ‘unto.’ I can’t remember where I heard this, but it has stuck with me: there is a major difference between the word ‘to’ and ‘unto’ . . . “one can go ‘to’ church but not ‘unto’ Christ.” See the difference. Yes, a small simple word change from ‘unto’ to ‘to’ can become a major theological distinction. Many do not realize that anyone can write a ‘new bible version,’ and copyright it. You do not have to be knowledgeable in anything to get a copyright for a new bible version. To copyright ‘a new bible version’ only takes a 10% change from the version being changed. The word ‘unto’ is not archaic as it is continually being used today by many diverse writers in various fields. The word ‘unto’ means ‘totally given or totally done’ . . . a completeness in commitment . . . totally . . . entirely . . . absolutely. The word ‘to’ is a function word indicating movement or proximity or direction of a position. The words ‘to’ and ‘unto’ are not interchangeable. The following are simple examples of the words ‘to’ and ‘unto’ between the King James Bible and the NKJV.
For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. (Galatians 2:19) (KJV) For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. (Galatians 2:19) (NKJV)
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (1st Timothy 2:4) (KJV) who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1st Timothy 2:4) (NKJV) ♦ End of Side Note.

Seven heads are seven houses of global control and power. God the Holy Spirit distinguishes mountains as being heads, but there is also another description, and this is horns. Mountains are the Empires through time, and horns are individual rulers. Keep that in mind as we travel on. . . mountains = Empires and horns = rulers. Let us examine how the Holy Spirit of God builds His time structure into the framework of man’s history.
The first ruler over a united confederation was the rebel known as Nimrod of the city of Babel later called the land of the Chaldeans founded by the Assyrians, and also later known as the land of Babylon. Although names and names of rulers change, there is one thing that NEVER changes, and that is the GOAL and the BATTLE PLAN and the actual personality of the puppeteer behind the black curtain of sin and death: the original dragon, Satan, the Devil.
Each one of the seven heads, the seven mountains, was constructed on the ruins and foundation of a previous empire. Every European nation AND the United States are replicas of the Roman Empire. Every Eastern nation is a replica of the Babylonian Empire. Again, it is needful to write that scripture primarily focuses on the nations of the East although the Roman Empire played and plays its role, especially in the book of the prophecy of Daniel.
The phrase seven heads is only documented five times in the Bible. Notice that four (4) times that seven heads are connected to ten horns . . . and the last and fifth mention is the seven heads are seven mountains in Revelation 17:7.

  1. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. (Revelation 12:3)
    2.
  2. And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (Revelation 13:1)
    3.
  3. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. (Revelation 17:3)
    4.
  4. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. (Revelation 17:7)
    5.
  5. And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (Revelation 17:9)

Our current study verse is the only time that the words seven mountains appear in scripture. And it is also the only time that we are informed that these seven heads ARE seven mountains. Again, notice the tense of the word ARE . . . .’ present tense second-person singular and present tense plural of BE.’ Maintaining tense structure in the Bible is essential. These seven heads ARE seven mountains . . . they PRESENTLY exist today, and they existed when the words were first written . . . they continue to exist . . . they were present from the beginning of the very first Empire of world power. No matter what period of time . . . the seven heads ARE seven mountains.

Side Note: Brief Summation of the Historical Development of the Babylonian Empire.
The Assyrian is mentioned thirteen (13) times in the Old Testament, (Isaiah 10:5, 24; 14:25; 19:23; 23:13; 30:31; 31:8; 52:4; Ezekiel 31:3; Hosea 5:13; 11:5; Micah 5:5, 6). In Isaiah 14:25 we read, That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
Then the connection between the Assyrian and the Chaldeans is documented Isaiah 23:13 Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people was not, [till] the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up the towers thereof, they raised up the palaces thereof; [and] he brought it to ruin.
Then the connection between Assyria and Babylon is documented in 2nd Kings 17:24; 2nd Chronicles 33:11; and in Jeremiah 50:17, 18. The following verses also denotes the element of time . . . you know . . . history. It is the history of the nation of Israel under the massive burden of tyranny and captivity during the time period of Assyrian domination and later under Babylonian slavery. Israel [is] a scattered sheep; the lions have driven [him] away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones. (Jeremiah 50:17) Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria. (Jeremiah 50:18) The Holy Spirit of God through the mournful pen of the prophet Jeremiah compares Israel as scattered sheep. You know, those scattered stray sheep mentioned in the book of Matthew 18:12, where their Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ in His parable stated that He went into the mountains (the mountains made strong with evil) to rescue and claim that one lost sheep, How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
Then the connection between the Assyrians, the Chaldeans, and the Babylonians is documented in Ezekiel 23:23, Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.End of Side Note.

There are countless individuals speaking about slavery that know absolutely nothing about slavery because they know nothing about the Bible. The nation of Israel is the ONLY nation throughout the history of mankind who have consistently been enslaved for thousands of years: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon and Rome. And from this time period of 2023 onward the entire globe will experience slavery as never before and multitudes will not even know that they are slaves for their delusions of fantasy and the matrix madness of mind control will allow them to exist in a world of their own evil imaginations. (At this time in the age of so-called freedom, more people have been made slaves than any other period of time in man’s history: sex slavery, debt slavery, slaves of tyrannical governments, and mind control is also a form of slavery.)
The Holy Spirit of God clearly stated that God judged the previous world because the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and every thought was consumed by his evil imagination. Genesis 6:5 reads, And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. After the destruction of that world, the new world also became corrupt by the evil imaginations of the heart of mankind, Jeremiah 18:12, And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.

Side Note: Imagination. Six times the word imaginations is mentioned in scripture. Read each description and consider the message of the Holy Spirit of God to your own heart. Remember that the number six is the number of sinful man, so it is quite fitting that God ties the number six to the word wicked imaginations.
1 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. (1st Chronicles 28:9)
2 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, (Proverbs 6:18)
3 Thou hast seen all their vengeance [and] all their imaginations against me. (Lamentations 3:60)
4 Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, [and] all their imaginations against me; (Lamentations 3:61)
5 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (Romans 1:21)
6 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (2nd Corinthians 10:5)  ♦ End of Side Note.

Although mountains represent strength, stability and power, hopefully you have seen the connection of mountains to slavery, corruption, and judgment. And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (Revelation 17:9) Understanding strength and power is easy, but the stability of evil is another thing. What is the state of the stability of evil? The state of stability often takes on a form of resistance, it stands firmly against other states of existence. Does this not describe Lucifer in the heavenly realm of God and Satan in our natural realm on earth? In the seven mountains we also see the negative number of seven united against the divine perfection of God.

The Seven Mountains and The Seven Empires

And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (Revelation 17:9)

The biblical Empires . . . the Empires that are mentioned in scripture are the mountains that we will focus on because the Bible is based on eastern culture. Seven mountains . . . seven Empires . . . these seven Empire either sprang from the same land, the same territory, the same geographical region that began with Babel in the land of Shinar in the territory of Babylon or they conquered the land. The seven heads ARE seven mountains, not WERE, nor WILL BE, but ARE from the beginning of man’s empire building onward . . . to the last empire . . . the Empire of the Beast . . . the seven heads ARE seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
The first biblical Empire was the (1) Chaldean Empire (Pre-Babylonian Sumerian era) Ur of Chaldees (Genesis 11:28, 31; 15;7; Nehemiah 9:7). The following Empires are all documented in scripture: (2) Assyrian Empire, (3) Egyptian Empire, (4) Babylonian Empire, (5) Persian/Mede Empire, (6) Seleucid (Greek) Empire, and the (7) Roman Empire. (Although the Greek Empire was rooted in Athenian governmental administration, it was the warrior spirit of Sparta that inspired the formation of future nations; yet it was the Roman Empire that many nations foundationally emulated.) The Roman Empire NEVER ended, it just resurfaced as various continental European nations and England AND the United States. Historians make the claim that the Roman Empire ended but its organizational structure and system of laws found its way into the foundation of many city states and nations. The Empire of Rome lives today stronger than ever . . . its sins and debauchery entrenched through myriads of cultural and political systems. This Gentile Empire will fulfill its purpose in the Empire of the Beast. The fullness of the Gentiles must swell to its utmost corruptness according to prophecy. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. (Luke 21:24)

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. (Romans 11:25)

And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. (Revelation 11:1) But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. (Revelation 11:2)

This is the state and condition of the world at this period of man’s rule over the globe. Mankind cannot become more corrupt, more base, more entrenched with vileness than they are today. Everything has become as putrid pus-filled flesh-eating worms feasting on dead things. There is not one segment of our social structure that has not become physically or spiritually vile. The last battle for the mind entails truth, and mankind is swiftly drowning in a whirlpool of his own imaginative lies. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (2nd Thessalonians 2:11) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2nd Thessalonians 2:12)

Mountains versus Mountain

While we are on the subject of mountains, let us examine the word mountain in scripture. This is a study for a new Christian because it would require years. And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, [having] Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. (Genesis 12:8) The first mention of mountain is connected to an altar, and a specific setting (east of Bethel) and again, there is another specification, a seemingly small detail (Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east). God loves details. In order to view Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east one must be grounded in the land of promise and be facing north with the west on your left, and the east on your right. WHY? This was God’s view. (The Son of His Love, the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, is at His right hand and He will return from the east.)

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:2)

Who raised up the righteous [man] from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made [him] rule over kings? he gave [them] as the dust to his sword, [and] as driven stubble to his bow. (Isaiah 41:2)

And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice [was] like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory. (Isaiah 43:2)
Now, read the previous verse, verse 7 with verse 8. And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. (Genesis 12:7) And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, [having] Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. (Genesis 12:8)

Side Note: Abram/Abraham built four altars. The first was at Sichem (Shechem) on the plain of Moreh (Genesis 12:6-7). The second was between Bethel and Hai (Ai) (Genesis 12:8). The third was on the Plain of Mamre (Genesis 13:18) and the final one was built at Jehovah Jireh, the place that would later become the mount on which Jebus/Jerusalem were built (Genesis 22:9-14).
1. And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. (Genesis 12:7)
2. And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, [having] Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. (Genesis 12:8)
3. Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD. (Genesis 13:4)
Then Abram removed [his] tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which [is] in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD. (Genesis 13:18)
4. And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. The last altar of Abram that is documented was on one of the mountains of Moriah, Calvary. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only [son] Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. (Genesis 22:2) This symbolizes not only the fourth and last altar related to Abram, but it is the last and final altar presented to the world (the number four) in the crucifixion of the Redeemer for the sins of the world. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:17) ♦ End of Side Note.

As we examine the word mountain (the singular for the plural mountains) in scripture it is not only spiritually defined from its first mention with the east and with an altar but throughout the one hundred and nine (109) documentations of the word mountain we are led by the Holy Spirit of God to see much more than a mere definition. After God the Holy Spirit begins with the word mountain connected with His coming from the east, ( For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:27) and the purpose of His coming as the sacrifice for sins and the altar of sacrifice He also leads us to see that Christ laid Himself plainly before us in the very first mention of the word mountain, Bethel (house of God), the east (the place of His coming), and an altar (Himself as the Sacrifice and the Sacrificer). Then Psalm 48:1 and Jeremiah 31:23 adds that God plants HIS HOLINESS not only to a city (Jerusalem) but IN a mountain, a special mountain, a mountain of JUSTICE and a mountain of holiness.

Great [is] the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, [in] the mountain of his holiness. (Psalm 48:1) Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, [and] mountain of holiness. (Jeremiah 31:23)

This mountain in the Old Testament lays the meaning and the description in symbolism of God IN Christ, the mountain is called holy 16 times, great twice and high seven times. However, it is in the Song of Love, the Song of Songs that we see Christ as the mountain of myrrh. Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense. (Song of Songs 4:6) Always keep in mind while reading the Bible that the written word of God not only describes the Living Word of God (the Lord Jesus Christ), but the Living Word of God IS the written word of God. So, therefore, the mountain of myrrh IS the Lord of glory, the mountain of holiness IS the Christ, the mountain of refuge IS Christ.
(Myrrh was one of the gifts from the wise men of the east presented to the holy child Jesus at His birth on earth, and it was also one of the ointments that was used to wrap Him in the ceremonial burial linen clothes at His death. This ointment was also extremely precious in monetary value and specifically used as the anointing oil used for dedication and service in the Tabernacle in the wilderness by Aaron, the earthly high priest of Israel.)
The Holy Spirit urges that we should get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense. This is the mountain of our refuge, the mountain of Christ, the Savior of great value, the precious Redeemer. As Lot was told by the angels, Escape to the mountain, people of faith have always found refuge in the mountain of myrrh, the cross of Christ, the birth, death and resurrection of the man of sorrows. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: (1st Peter 1:19) To whom coming, [as unto] a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, [and] precious, (1st Peter 2:4) Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. (1st Peter 2:6) Lot refused to obey the angel, but rather chose a cave instead of a mountain for his physical salvation. Sadly, as Lot, many will seek their physical salvation also in caves and dens. This is all quite fitting as mankind (as a whole) has also chosen to hide themselves from God in the burial caves of spiritual death rather than to acknowledge God as Creator and Sovereign over His creation and as Savior and Redeemer IN the Son of His love, the Lord Jesus Christ. When Christ wept over Lazarus in the gospel of John Chapter 11, it wasn’t merely because Lazarus had died (John 11:38) but because Lazarus represented what every person is destined to experience . . . death . . . which was the end result of the Law of Sin and Death caused by Adam.
The Old Testament has this prophecy in the book of Isaiah, Chapter 2, verse 19 specifically detailing what will happen at the second coming of the Messiah in Revelation Chapter 6, verses 15 and 26. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. (Isaiah 2:19) And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; (Revelation 6:15) And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: (Revelation 6:16)
Following the word mountain through scripture we find another two-colored thread, a thread that leads to Christ, and a thread that leads to conflict with the enemies of Christ. This is a constant theme in the Bible from the book of Genesis to the book of the Revelation: truth and its counterfeit. The Law of First Mention has been placed in scripture as word crumbs by the Holy Spirit of God, sadly, those who seek to be men of renown known as ‘experts in the original scripture parchments’ change words without understanding that words have power and consequences and a set direction with an outcome of a spiritual subliminal message. By the way, when anyone speaks of the ‘original scripture parchments or manuscripts’ demand that they produce these ‘original scripture parchments.’ Many known and existing parchments are ‘old’ but NONE are ‘original,‘ nor can parchment age be accurately determined by carbon dating. (But carbon dating is another rabbit hole constructed around an unstable system of measurement created by another unstable element: man.) Back to the study of the word mountain . . . .

Wherever God plants His holiness, Lucifer/Satan plants his iniquity.

Wherever God plants His holiness, Lucifer/Satan plants his iniquity. This battle is seen through biblical numbers and through the Law of First Mention. Through word placement by the Holy Spirit of God we see the constant conflict between the Godhead and the serpent tail. Ezekiel 28:14 discloses that Lucifer was closely associated with God’s holy mountain. The mountain, the highest point, denotes the pinnacle of God’s majestic supernatural government and divine realm of justice and righteousness. Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Viewing the word mountain in the Old Testament, it becomes quite noticeable that other individual mountains were associated with the enemies of Israel and the adversaries of God: the mountain of the Amorites, the mountain of Nebo, the mountain of Ephraim, and the mountain of Samaria. These were individual mountains of the enemies of Israel, where the thought of a single mountain took on the understanding as ‘the house of’ the enemy, or the central power structure of the enemy. CLICK HERE to gain a better understanding of the Amorites, one of the many lines of giants through Canaan.

And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea. (Deuteronomy 1:19) And I said unto you, Ye are come unto the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our God doth give unto us. (Deuteronomy 1:20)
Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath. (Amos 2:9)

Through Chapter 51 of the book of Jeremiah in verse 25 God labels Lucifer/Satan as the destroying mountain. Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain. The great Wordsmith, the Holy Spirit of God, allows us to see the destruction of the one who has raged against God since his first defeat of being cast down to earth. This destructive powerhouse of iniquity and depravity is destined to be violently removed from his position as the pretender of importance when the whole world will finally see Satan for what he is: a loser without value. The once beautiful, anointed cherub became the epitome of vileness. The one who once reflected the light of God’s glory has become so entrenched with darkness that even black holes will refuse to shelter him. Lucifer/Satan’s doom is set and cannot be altered. With his future judgment written clearly for all to understand it is no wonder that the battle over truth is the last area of attack.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. (Revelation 12:3) And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. (Revelation 12:4)

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:9) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (Revelation 12:10)

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. (Luke 10:18)

The world has come to this last battle, the battle over truth because this is Satan’s last quiver of manipulation. This is the one flaw in Lucifer’s wisdom. This is where this article began, And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. There is the wisdom of the Spirit of God implanted into the hearts, minds and souls of His children and then there is another wisdom, a wisdom so corrupted, tainted and defiled by pride that it leads to insanity. Therefore, Lucifer’s one flaw, one destructive weakness was that all his actions, thoughts, and plans were formulated by this defect of insanity. From wisdom to madness, from beauty to beast-like, from the reflected brightness of God’s glory to the deep darkness of the instability of delusion is where Satan exists. The madness of Satan’s rage requires that God’s creation (especially the creation of mankind) would also live in Satan’s world of madness as beasts consuming each other in their delusions and lies. As all of Satan’s plans and man’s evil imaginations ARE ALL according to the purposes and plans of the Almighty Creator God. Delusions and lies have brought mankind to our current global situation of madness.
Do not question the reason for Lucifer’s madness. Do not assume that God has lost control over earth dwellers. ALL is going exactly according to God’s plan and timetable. Gentile power WILL fail, just as Israel failed, and just as the Church failed, so also MUST the mountains of Gentile power fail. Carefully read the following references concerning God’s unfailing MOUNTAIN of grace and truth.

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. (Daniel 11:36)

The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, [so] shall it stand: (Isaiah 14:24) That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. (Isaiah 14:25) This [is] the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this [is] the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. (Isaiah 14:26) For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul [it]? and his hand [is] stretched out, and who shall turn it back? (Isaiah 14:27)

Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken [it], I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed [it], I will also do it. (Isaiah 46:11)

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: (Ephesians 1:9)

With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: (Ezekiel 28:4) By thy great wisdom [and] by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: (Ezekiel 28:5)

Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. (Ezekiel 28:7)

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. (Ezekiel 28:12)

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. (Ezekiel 28:1)

The seventh (7th) Chapter of the book of the prophet Micah in verse 12 is the only documentation of the phrase from mountain to mountain. [In] that day [also] he shall come even to thee from Assyria, and [from] the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and [from] mountain to mountain. Remember that there is more than symbolism in this phrase, mountain to mountain. This book of Micah with seven (7) Chapters is another good study of the words mountain and mountains. This is NOT trivia, the word mountain is recorded in FOUR (4) verses for a total of five (5) times, and the word mountains is also recorded for a total of FOUR (4) times. In this prophecy of Micah God shows us the conflict between mountain and mountains. In the subliminal numbers we have the number eight (the new beginning) and we have the number nine (the judgment of God.) In the descriptive words we have the second appearance of Christ as Messiah (the mountain) coming to save His people from the Assyrian Beast and his Empire (the mountains) in the land of Nimrod. The last mention of the first word ruler (Nimrod) is in the sixth verse of the 5th Chapter of Micah. Coincidence? Nah! The following three verses have been selected specifically for the purpose to show the conflict between mountain and mountains.

But in the last days it shall come to pass, [that] the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. (Micah 4:1)

Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice. (Micah 6:1)

And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver [us] from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders. (Micah 5:6)

God not only loves details, but He also loves to emphasize His message. For instance in Isaiah 2:2, (the double witness) we have THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD’S HOUSE is established OVER the top of THE MOUNTAINS. And it shall come to pass in the last days, [that] the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. Is not the Lord Jesus Christ THE MOUNTAIN of God’s realm in heaven and in earth? Is He not the KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS? (Revelation 19:13-16) Is He not MADE HIGHER THAN THE HEAVENS? For such an high priest became us, [who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; (Hebrews 7:26) Does He not FILL ALL THINGS, and FULFILL all of God’s determinate counsels? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) (Ephesians 4:10)

The Mystery of the Great Mountain

The phrase great mountain occurs three (3) times in scripture: twice in the Old Testament and once in the New Testament. You should know by now that in order to follow the spiritual meaning or definition of a word or phrase the first mention is always the key that unlocks the spiritual meaning.

1. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. (Daniel 2:35)
2. Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone [thereof with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace unto it. (Zechariah 4:7)
3. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; (Revelation 8:8)

The first documentation of a great mountain is in the prophetic book of Daniel 2:35. It wasn’t the image that became a great mountain, it was the stone that smote the image that became a great mountain, and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. This is one of the greatest prophecies in scripture detailing the four main kingdoms or empires that would affect the eastern world. Remember that previous in this article that there is a list of seven Empires. The image in Daniel summarizes the power structure in the last four great Empires: (4) Babylonian Empire, (5) Persian/Mede Empire, (6) Seleucid (Greek) Empire, and the (7) Roman Empire. Later in Daniel, the Holy Spirit of God expands on these four Empires, but in the 2nd Chapter these Empires appear as a basic introduction to what will follow later in the visions of Daniel.
Let us continue on with a great mountain. It was The Stone that smote the image and became a Great Mountain and filled the whole earth. Who does this Stone symbolize? And this Stone, this Great Mountain filled the whole earth. (Daniel 2:45; 8:25; Zechariah 4:6; 2nd Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 9:24)

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? (Matthew 21:42)
And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. (Matthew 21:44)
And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner: (Mark 12:10)
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone]; (Ephesians 2:20)

Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. (1st Peter 2:6) Unto you therefore which believe [he is] precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, (1st Peter 2:7) And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, [even to them] which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. (1st Peter 2:8)

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. (Isaiah 28:16)

For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone [shall be] seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. (Zechariah 3:9)

Christ is The Great Mountain that is above all mountains of power.

Christ is THAT STONE made without hands. Christ is the ONE STONE with SEVEN EYES which are the seven Spirits of God. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. (Revelation 5:6) In Christ dwells the fulness of the Godhead bodily: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Christ is The Great Mountain that is above all mountains of power. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. (Daniel 2:34)

Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. (Ephesians 1:23)
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:9)
For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; (Colossians 1:19)

The second documentation of the great mountain is found in the prophecy of the book of Zechariah in Chapter 4, verse 7. Notice the question, Who [art] thou, O great mountain?

2. Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone [thereof with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace unto it. (Zechariah 4:7)

What is the connection between this great mountain and the man called Zerubbabel? Zerubbabel is another interesting personality. This name appears in twenty-one (21) verses for a total of twenty-two (22) times. Again, I have to bring in the veiled message in God’s numbering system: we have a double witness in the number 22, and we have in the number 21, the perfection of the Godhead bodily, (7 x 7 x 7 = 21, or 3 x 7 = 21). The meaning of the name of Zerubabbel is ‘sown in Babylon‘ and/or ‘melted by Babylon. This man was a direct descendant of king David. (Matthew 1:12) He was of the royal line of Kingship. And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel. God was faithful to His word that the sceptre of royalty would not cease to exist, and Zerubabbel (Zorobabel) had been the living proof of God’s faithfulness that even in the furnace of slavery to Babylon, God preserved Judah’s progeny in Zerubabbel.

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Genesis 49:10) Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver; (Psalm 108:8)

When Cyrus and later Darius released the Jews from the Babylon, Zerubbabel was one of the leaders to supervise the return and the rebuilding of Jerusalem for Zerubbabel was recognized as having the rights to the throne of David, and therefore, Zerubabbel was the rightful king, but since the Israelites were not in the position to claim royalty, Zerubabbel was called the governor of Judah four times in the book of Haggai.

In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying, (Haggai 1:1)

And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God, (Haggai 1:14)

Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying, (Haggai 2:2)

Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth; (Haggai 2:21) And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother. (Haggai 2:22) In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts. (Haggai 2:23)

In verse 22 we have the throne of kingdoms, and the strength of the kingdoms: kingdoms . . . many kingdoms, many Empires, many mountains of power for the LAST mountain of power is the kingdom of the Beast, and his kingdom is strengthened by the tyrannical militaries of the kingdoms of the heathen. Remember that the mountain of Babylon is a three-prong power syndicate where religion is employed by the false prophet to affect emotions and passions of its followers. Government is the authority and the enforcer, and corporate is the banker and merchandiser.
Who [art] thou, O great mountain? This great mountain was recognized through Zerubbabel as the rightful king to the throne of David. And to write it correctly, this Great Mountain was the rightful King to the throne of Israel, and He would make the rough places and the crooked places straight as a plain, and He would appear as the Head Stone of all of God’s purposes crying, Grace, grace unto it.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)
2. Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone [thereof with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace unto it. (Zechariah 4:7)

The third and final documentation of a great mountain is found in Revelation 8:8, 3. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; (Revelation 8:8) This prophecy in Revelation 8:8 is the culmination of a previous prophecy. Remember Jeremiah 51:25 is the prophecy against the destroying mountain. Behold, I [am] against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain. It all comes together perfectly that the destroying mountain, the powerhouse of the haters of God led by the insane angel Lucifer, will receive their just rewards. All the evil men of renown will be rolled down from their self-imposed heights of grandeur and arrogant elitism. These creatures with mountains of abundance believing their own lies that they are something that they not are rightfully doomed to become a mountain burning in the fires of hell.

Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart. (Psalm 73:1)
But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. (Psalm 73:2)
For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. (Psalm 73:3)
For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm. (Psalm 73:4)
They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men. (Psalm 73:5)
Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. (Psalm 73:6)
Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish. (Psalm 73:7)
They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily. (Psalm 73:8)
They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth. (Psalm 73:9)
Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them. (Psalm 73:10)
And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? (Psalm 73:11)
Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. (Psalm 73:12)

Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. (Psalm 73:17)
Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. (Psalm 73:18)
How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. (Psalm 73:19)

Let us not end here with the burning mountain of the twice dead but let us go on to see the Great Mountain of the Living Eternal God. With all the evil mountains surrounding the children of God we need to keep our eyes focused on our Great and High Mountain, the Lord Jesus Christ. Our Great Mountain offered Himself on one of the mountains of Moriah so that we would be carried away to the mountain of His holiness to forever be with Him, LORD OF LORDS and KING of KINGS . . . our Great and High Mountain.

And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, (Revelation 21:10)

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. (Psalm 48:1)

Shall I continue on with mountain and mountains in the New Testament or leave that for you to study on your own? Or should I go to the third woman mentioned in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ that I have never mentioned before? At this moment typing is a bit painful and uncomfortable for me; therefore, maybe it is time to rest my arm and shoulder, and to seek God’s guidance in the matter at hand. Sometimes, it is NOT WHERE God leads, but WHY God leads? Selah.
