The Great Escape and The Great Eagle

The Last Great Mystery Continues in the Second Woman

in the book of the Revelation

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)

   This series called Men of Renown will begin with these verses in Chapter 6 of the book of Genesis because it is the perfect scene setter for whatever and whoever follows that enables men of renown to act in conflict against God and His Word. Genesis 6 verses 4 and 5 are an accurate definition of men of renown.

   I hope that you will venture into this current post. I find each post an adventure for me because I never know where the Holy Spirit will lead, and what I will learn.

A Great Eagle

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. (Revelation 12:14)

   If you have the time, I suggest that you read a previous post about why ‘the woman‘ (who is a type of Israel) has to flee. What causes scores of Israelites to run for their lives? What event occurs that spurs individuals to attempt to run immediately into the wilderness?

   The woman (Israel) received two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness. It is obvious that those escaping are aided in their great exodus from Israel. Remember. The first great exodus of Israel was when she was led out of Egypt under the leadership of Moses. That first exodus was a foreshadow of an exodus yet to come in Israel’s future. God informs us of many similarities between this first exodus and the last exodus. The 2^nd book of the Bible is titled Exodus, and through this book we will see many connections from the first exodus to the last exodus. Exodus means a massive departure, an outpouring, escaping from the horror behind them.

   As you read the following phrase many will automatically say, A plane, or maybe many planes, and to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness. We, of course, speaking of humanity, find it almost impossible to think outside of our own time frame; everything must revolve around man, man’s accomplishments, and man’s affinity for the world of the natural, or the world of the tangible. It is what we see that is most important to mankind. The outward visible image is our only reality point. This is one of the many hindrances that readers of the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ face. First, in order to understand this magnificent masterpiece of words, you MUST have the Spirit of God within. Secondly, you MUST have a working background of ALL the previous books of scripture. Thirdly, you MUST keep a CLOSED MIND. Close your mind to the things that draw you away from God’s supernatural dealings with mankind. Yup . . . a closed mind to the things of the world is a mind open to the things of the holy. Instead of looking at the two wings of a great eagle as a rescue by an unknown military airlift, let’s research into the word of God. Although it is helpful to have a background in secular history, it is necessary to comprehend that the word of God is a researcher’s dream. God’s word is a thesaurus, a dictionary, an encyclopedia, an archaeological dig site, a geologist’s tool, a historian’s cheat sheet, but the greatest thing about the word of God is that the voice of God can be heard as it vibrates through every word. You do not need to go outside of God’s word to research God’s word. If you are a sincere student of the word of God, then use the word of God to sincerely study the word of God.

   What does the word of God teach us about the eagle? Why did the Holy Spirit of God select this particular type of bird in Revelation Chapter 12, verse 14? The word of God will lead us into a broader understanding of two wings of a great eagle. There are twenty-three (23) verses in the Old Testament with the word eagle, and the New Testament mentions eagle two (2) times. The word eagles’ is recorded seven (7) times in the Old Testament and twice in the New Testament. Let’s use the Law of First Mention as a search tool. The first time that the word eagle is mentioned is in the book of Leviticus 11:13, And these [are they which] ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they [are] an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray. God declares this predatory bird as an abomination and unclean in His sight. This sets the meaning of the word eagle in its connection to the uncleanness of mankind. But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6) This verse is an easy verse to remember because of its address location. The world (the number four) is in the middle of the number 6, the number of man; thus, in this number (6 – 4 – 6) the sin of man swallows up the world. Tell me that the Holy Spirit of God doesn’t have a unique sense of humor, and then try to tell me that the Holy Spirit of God did not know in His foreknowledge that His word would later in time be numbered and structured in verse sequences and in chapters. Of all the previous generations, we are the most blessed because the word of God can be easily obtained, and because we are blessed beyond measure, we also are held to a more responsible position as Christians. Although the word of God is still easily obtainable, accessibility means nothing when those who say that they love the word of God do not know the word of God.

   The first mention of eagle is connected to abomination. It is a bird of prey. They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle [that] hasteth to the prey. (Job 9:26) It swiftly flies. The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, [as swift] as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand. (Deuteronomy 28:49) The eagle plants his nest and home above the eyes and habitat of man. Though thou exalt [thyself] as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD. (Obadiah 1:4)

   As we follow the word eagle, the Spirit of God compares the eagle to a nation, a people, and a man of Babylon. The Law of First Mention in scripture plays out not only in single words, or in phrases, but it actions. The first confederacy in scripture describes the last confederacy on earth. The first tyrant in scripture describes the last tyrant on earth. The first universal ruler over all of the known kingdoms on earth describes the last universal ruler who will dominate the earth: the man of sin, the Antichrist, the 6 – 6 – 6, and known as the Beast.

   Remember that CLOSED MIND, use it! The Bible is a book of the Eastern world. Although God has used and will use the nations of the world (the Gentile world) to accomplish His purpose, everything revolves around the main players in the Old Testament. If you are reading this and you are in the United States, this may anger and insult you, but nevertheless, the United States IS NOT and WILL NOT be a MAIN PLAYER at The End of God’s story. Reality bites! (There were two things that I found difficult to accept: first, the complete ruin of the church, that the church has already been spewed out of the mouth of God, and that the Lord Jesus Christ’s focus is on the individual NOT the collective. Revelation 3:19 is to those of the collective church, the Laodicean church, As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. The call to commune with Him is to the individual, the one outside of the collective. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20) The second thing that I found difficult to acknowledge was the complete ruin spiritually and morally of my nation that there was not going to be a recovery, nor national repentance, or even a semblance of a repentance in the church. I know . . . and I wish that this was not so, and 2^nd Chronicles 7:14 is still a wonderful verse and WE STILL need to pray for the humbling of souls. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. I think that my personal difficulty in accepting the end of this nation is that I refused to see where this generation is in the scope of God’s time frame and prophecy. Acceptance is not acquiescence. Acceptance is perception and understanding. It is a very hard thing to live in an age of transition, especially a spiritual transition. As the Jews of old found it difficult to remove themselves from The Law to the Law of Faith in Christ Jesus, we (as Christians) also find it difficult to comprehend where we are in God’s prophecy. We do not want to be the generation at the end of prophecy; we do not want to be the generation of tremendous trial and separation. Nevertheless, we are the generation prepared to see God’s hand moving in deserved judgment against the church and against the nations, and we do not want to be that generation. It is far easier to deny the true spiritual condition of our age in hope of a spiritual recovery then to accept what we know is sure to come upon this world, and to us, and to our children: RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT! True Christianity is not for cowards, it is for those who through FAITH are valiant in the mission that they have been called upon to accomplish.) If you want to be encouraged, then read the book of Hebrews Chapter 11:32 – 40. The following verses are from a warrior who knew what the battle was all about.

This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; (1^st Timothy 1:18)

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (1^st Timothy 6:12)

And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.  (2^nd Timothy 2:2) Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. (2^nd Timothy 2:3) No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. (2^nd Timothy 2:4) I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith: (2^nd Timothy 4:7)

    So, I digressed a little . . . . stay on board with me, although the United States has the emblem of an eagle, the United States as a MAIN PLAYER is NOT an important player in scripture. For your information, there are many nations in our current age who have the eagle as their emblem, and historically there has been the Imperial Eagle of Egypt (the eagle of Saladan), the eagle of the Roman Empire, the Byzantine Imperial eagle, the Achaemenid Empire (Persia) also had the eagle banner; even in 1952 Arab nationalism identified with the eagle in their coats of arms in Iraq, Palestine and Yemen. (Palestinians are not citizens of Palestine, but this is another story.) I am attempting to draw you to understand that many contemporary nations will not be MAIN players in the last battle (before the millennial reign of Christ) known as the battle of Armageddon; however, they may not be the MAIN players, but they will be under the control of the MAIN PLAYER and ALL the nations will gather together in the plain of Megiddo to fight against Christ and Israel.

   Think along these lines. The global RESET that the world is currently being forced into is a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. In order to have a unified ONE WORLD, borders MUST be removed. The United States no longer has borders. Our own imposter illegal government has been working for decades to remove our defensive borders, it is only a matter of time when they will announce through their propaganda news agencies that we are no longer a separate nation, but we are united to a ONE WORLD entity. Hoorah for the world! A world without borders means a world without nations, and a world without nations means that your nation ceases to exist. A ONE WORLD has to be organized with one ruler, one banner, one image, one monetary or exchange system, and one EAGLE. There is only one generation left on this planet between the realization of nationalism and imperialism, and this generation is being systematically removed and annihilated. This ONE WORLD government has to reset the minds and hearts of the people from loyalty to their individual nations to loyalty to a center, to ONE center of power; thus, nationalism becomes powerless, and imperialism becomes empowered. The only thing that I see that may be on the horizon to stall this ONE WORLD WEF (World Economic Forum) reset is money. Nations who are lining up with BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) alliance are economically forging ahead of the western nations who have sold out to the agenda of the WEF. This ‘Build Back Better’ climate change agenda of the nations under the dictates of the WEF cannot economically succeed and this failure will become a rift between more western nations as they chose to separate from the ‘BBB’ and join with the BRIC alliance. (But this is just my opinion of the possibilities that may cause the ONE WORLD reset to temporarily suspend their 2030 agenda.) Man and Satan may plan and plot, but God’s timetable can neither be overturned, nor can it be stopped.

   Here is the difficulty that we have, having a CLOSED MIND is necessary when it comes to the book of the Revelation, our minds MUST accept what is written. When we attempt to force what is written into our own time frame, and into our known technology and economics, then we open our minds to things that are not written. At the battle of Armageddon, there will be nations from the north, and from the south, and from the east that will gather on the plains of Megiddo to fight against Christ. If there are nations, then how can there be a one world government without nations? Nations in hearts and minds merely become geographical location designations not power centers. The centers of powers are those of influential wealth, who turn their powers of influence over to the Beast. In Chapter 17 of the book of the Revelation, verse 12, we have the breakdown of how power is structured. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. We definitely should relate to this power structure, for we see how the men of wealth control governments and influence the thoughts of mankind. The news media is totally controlled by just a few men. Food and distribution are controlled by just a few companies. Energy is controlled by just a handful of companies. Power in our age is centered in only a few horns, or kings. These kings are not kings over kingdoms or territorial lands, BUT they have POWER AS KINGS over the whole world. (I don’t have to put names to these financial kings of our age because we all know who they are.) And here is another benefit of having a CLOSED MIND. Close your mind around the word of God. The word of God will set it ALL before you, all you have to do is to BELIEVE it.

   Now, back to two wings of a great eagle. Israel is given two wings of a great eagle. This has got to be the good guys, right? You know, the military air force of the good guys who fly in wearing white cowboy hats and rescues Israel . . . . right? Close your mind around the word of God. What saith scripture about a great eagle? The Law of First Mention strikes again! This two-word phrase great eagle is mentioned twice in the Old Testament and once in the New Testament, of course, in our study section of Revelation 12:14. The seventeenth Chapter of the book of Ezekiel unveils TWO GREAT EAGLES.

• And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar: (Ezekiel 17:3)

• There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation. (Ezekiel 17:7)

   I am now going to ask you to do something that you will not like. READ. Don’t be afraid. I’ll be right beside you all the way. Let’s begin. Breathe easily. We are NOT going to tackle the entire Chapter. This Chapter has three sections: a riddle is presented in the first section about the first of two great eagles in verses 1 – 6, the second section is about the second great eagle in verses 7 – 10, and the third section answers the riddle by naming names and places in verses 11-24.

• And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, (Ezekiel 17:1)

• Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel; (Ezekiel 17:21) I love riddles, don’t you? This riddle was given for Israel and about Israel, and it connects to our study section in Revelation Chapter 12.

   Have you ever traveled across the state of Texas with a dog in the back sit that could not resist barking at every cow that went by his window? Well, I think that maybe this 3^rd verse will be a similar trip because we will see much going by and we will probably reach for an aspirin at the conclusion of our trip.

• EAGLE #1. –And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar: (Ezekiel 17:3) This eagle is symbolic of Lucifer/Satan and of an individual: a person of prominence. The individual was Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon. Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon. (Ezekiel 17:12) Another connection is in Daniel 4:33 with just a few words, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ [feathers]. However, this 3^rd verse is mainly about the entity who ruled over Nebuchadnezzar: Satan. He is noted as an eagle because he flies over mankind and before he was cast out into the earth Lucifer/Satan lived at the highest level in the realm of God’s kingdom with strength. The influence of Lucifer/Satan encompassed a great distance, and he was dressed and wrapped in garlands of counterfeit softness, goodness, and beauty. These downy feathers convey serenity and peace covered by divers colours denoting royalty and priesthood.

Side Note: Divers Colors: blue, purple and scarlet. These colors are grouped together only in the book of Exodus describing the embroidery of the curtains and veils in the tabernacle; also, the holy garments of the priest, from the top of the ephod to the hem on the bottom with pomegranates, these three colors (divers) are mentioned twenty-six times. There were also many times that we have coats of many colors worn by children of royalty, and Joseph (who is a type of Christ as Savior) wore a coat especially made for him that set him apart as one who was loved of his father. (Ezekiel 28:13)

Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. (Ezekiel 28:13) Covering Lucifer were precious stones with divers colors. 

But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet. (Ezekiel 14:19) Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned. (Ezekiel 14:20) Here is the description of Satan as an abominable branch, separated from others in judgment.

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. (Revelation 19:19) And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (Revelation 19:20) The beast and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire, but Satan is set apart waiting for his special place of judgment. 

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. (Revelation 20:1) And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, (Revelation 20:2) And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. (Revelation 20:3)

   Satan still wears garments of many colors: he wears the robes of contrasting religions; he covers himself with feathers of diversity and conflict while wrapped in perceived goodness and kindness he engages the unwitting to accept his twisted morality.  ♦ End of Side Note: Diverse Colours.

   The prophecy buried within Ezekiel Chapter 17 is as a tapestry with many diverse colored threads, and there is no end. The high-flying arrogant spirit of Lucifer was so obsessed with the highest branch of God’s realm (the branch of Priesthood) that God the Holy Spirit continually reminds Lucifer/Satan of his failed coup d’état, But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch. (Isaiah 14:19)

  EAGLE #1. This eagle came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar. This predatory bird of CAME (notice that the Holy Spirit didn’t write the word SENT), but he came unto Lebanon. Why is Lebanon connected to Lucifer/Satan here in this study verse? Lebanon means ‘the place of whiteness,’ and/or ‘the white mountain.’ Does this not describe God’s realm? Does this not describe the throne room of God? And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. (Revelation 20:11) This is the only mentioned of a great white throne in all of scripture. Not only was Lucifer/Satan in the great white throne room of God’s realm, but he took the highest branch of the cedar. What was that? What was that branch? Why was it the highest branch? What does this branch describe? First, let us examine the meaning behind the cedar. Cedar represents the house of God, the place of God’s throne. When Solomon built the house of God, it was covered with boards of cedar. In all [the places] wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people Israel, saying, Why build ye not me an house of cedar? (2^nd Samuel 7:7) So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar. (1^st Kings 6:9) Therefore, Lucifer/Satan took the highest position (branch) in the house of God’s heavenly kingdom as High Priest of God . . . this eagle took the highest branch of the cedar. There are three known branches in God’s realm: the branch of Kingship, the branch of Priesthood, and the branch of Prophecy. This branch is capitalized as Branch, the BRANCH, and The BRANCH three (3) times in Scripture. 

The BRANCH of KINGSHIP

• Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. (Jeremiah 23:5)

The BRANCH of PRIESTHOOD

• Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they [are] men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. (Zechariah 3:8)

The BRANCH of PROPHECY

• And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name [is] The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD: (Zechariah 6:12)

   Notice that Lucifer/Satan (the unclean eagle of abomination) was NOT assigned nor given the position of High Priest because this position belonged to the Lord Jesus Christ ONLY; He was and is Melchisedec, the King of righteousness, and the King of Peace.

For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; (Hebrews 7:1)

To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; (Hebrews 7:2)

Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. (Hebrews 7:3)

   Satan TOOK, he thought that this branch of priesthood was his to take and this was when the battle in God’s realm began. Let’s examine this section of the great eagle when he came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar. The Holy Spirit of God just doesn’t drop any name into His word, every word is specifically chosen for a specific reason. Why did God the Holy Spirit use Lebanon? The corrupt bird of prey CAME unto Lebanon, he didn’t COME, nor WENT, but CAME, he approached unto Lebanon.

Side Note: Lebanon. Since Lebanon means ‘the place of whiteness,’ and/or ‘the white mountain,’ it is the place of pureness. What is spiritually pure in the eyes of God? It is the heart of the peerless purity of His Son, the Son of His love, the Lord Jesus Christ. Thus, would not the Song of Songs, the Song of Love describes His whiteness and purity? God unveils His pure heart to man (the number six) in six verses; however, Lebanon is mentioned seven (7) times showing God’s perfection in pureness.

• King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon. (Song of Songs 3:9) The King of kings rides in pureness.

• Come with me from Lebanon, [my] spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions’ dens, from the mountains of the leopards. (Song of Songs 4:8) Christ is joined in His pureness by those who come with Him. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. (Revelation 22:17) For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. (Isaiah 54:5)

• Thy lips, O [my] spouse, drop [as] the honeycomb: honey and milk [are] under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments [is] like the smell of Lebanon. (Song of Songs 4:11) The odor of His pureness covers His Bride.

• A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon. (Song of Songs 4:15) The everlasting living waters flow from the center of purity (Lebanon), Jesus Christ. Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. (John 4:10) For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. (Revelation 7:17)

•  His legs [are as] pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance [is] as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. (Song of Songs 5:15) All strength, and all righteousness is seen in His face, the face of purity. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2nd Corinthians 4:6)

• Thy neck [is] as a tower of ivory; thine eyes [like] the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose [is] as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus. (Song of Songs 7:4) The Lord’s sweet savor is a tower of God’s pureness.      This side note may end, but this never ends, the study of ‘Lebanon,’ and ‘the cedars of Lebanon‘ is an endless wondrous journey into the world of the divine. My prayer is that those who travel with me will be enthused and refreshed in the word of God. The Spirit of God leaves more for you to explore than He has given . . . for there is always more! ♦ End of Side Note: Lebanon.

   Just in case you forgot to hold on to the beginning of the thread of our study, this is where we began. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. (Revelation 12:14) We are now examining the first of two great eagles that are documented in the book of Ezekiel Chapter 17.

• He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants. (Ezekiel 17:4) We are still dealing with this great eagle of uncleanness. What a verse! Lucifer/Satan cropped off one third of the angels in heaven and they were sentenced by God and kept in chains waiting for their just punishment. This eagle (Satan) also has young/new twigs, outward visible growths nourished by the larger tree, the tree of evil, from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil planted in the garden of Eden, God’s garden, God’s house of cedar. Everything in scripture also reverts back to its beginning. These young twigs are new growths, not of the realm in the heavens (the angelic followers of Satan’s rebellious war, the old twigs or the former twigs) but new young twigs from the earth, like Cain . . . now Cain was a twig indeed, a product of his father the devil. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44) The best of his twigs, the top, were cultivated, harvested and cropped and carried it into a land of traffick. Nimrod was one of Satan’s many young twigs that first was carried into the land of Babel, Shinar and Babylon, known as the land of traffick.

   He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants. (Ezekiel 17:4) Now, tell me that a man wrote this history in one little verse of the advancement of sin and evil perpetrated and choreographed by Satan, the great eagle, spanning millenniums through the history of Israel and the nations of the world. Although this series of Men of Renown is yet to deal with MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH in Revelation 17:5, it is now time to lay the foundation of a land of traffick, and the city of merchants. Satan carried his young twigs into a land and into a city laying claim to a specific land and to a specific city. The land is Babylon. The city is Babylon. (There is where it becomes difficult not to run ahead and lose focus on the subject at hand for the study of Babylon is hopefully yet to come in our study.)

   From previous articles you have seen how Lucifer, a mighty angel, while gracefully strolling through the courtyards and pavilions of God’s secret places plotted to overthrow his Creator God without any consideration for the consequences. The madness of an entity to even consider such a thing was the birth of insanity. Many films have been made with ‘a mad scientist’ as the main protagonist, but consider this, the world is under the control of an insane rogue angel, and we wonder why bad things happen! Of course, man refuses to even consider an insane devil, a mad Satan, so, naturally, mankind places blame onto God while at the same time denying that there is a God. Now where is the sanity of that? We sometimes casually drop words like psycho and sociopath, well don’t look now, but guess what . . . . guess whom God the Holy Spirit calls prince of this world. (John 12:21, 14:30; 16:11) Sleep well!

   This psycho devil has his young twigs (lesser psychos) and he carried IT into a land of traffick and into a city of merchants. He carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants. The word abomination was not only used to describe certain birds in Leviticus 11:13, but it was also used to describe the woman of idolatry, the third woman mentioned in the last book of the bible, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. What did this abominable bird of prey, this great eagle carry into the land of traffick and into a city of merchants? It is IDOLATRY. Sadly, mankind is so far removed from reality that he has become numb and dumb to realness and truth. Idolatry is anything and everything that man places before God. That phone that is glued to every hand has become an idol. That fantasy box planted in the center of every home and that is rarely turned off is an idol. That ‘recreational drug’ is an idol. Sex unbridled is an idol. Whatever a person seeds his heart with is an idol outside of the moving of the Spirit of God. Peleeezzzzzeee . . . do not try to explain or defend your idols to me.

   The land of traffick and the city of merchants is Babylon. Babylon is the name of both a land, a territory and the name of a city, its capitol city. Lucifer had an amazing aptitude for wheeling and dealing. He was the original merchant negotiating privileges and selling indulgences in the realm of God. (Ezekiel 27and 28, Revelation 18) Trafficking and merchandising is his specialty, so it is no surprise that mankind also specializes in this same area. From the least in our age to the highest among the men of renown of our age trafficking is more than common, it is considered beneficial. Selling of ballots, selling of political positions, the selling of the presidency, the selling of Congress, the selling of federal agencies, the selling of the medical field, the selling of academia, the selling of scientific fields, the selling of data, the selling of power, the selling of nations, the selling of people, the selling of baby parts harvested from murdered babies; this selling has no boundaries and even the souls of men are sold. The 18^th Chapter of Revelation has a long list of sellable objects, verse thirteen (13) ends this list with And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. Satan uses mankind as slaves to accomplish his end goal and that is to conquer and acquire the souls of men. All of us have been sold in one way or in another. Do not think that you have not been sold. All of your physical and tangible possessions have been sold. You just do not yet realize the depth of the seller’s market. The great Reset is the inauguration of a new economy . . . . what I write is not original, it is not imagination, and it has already been announced by the WEF in their 2030 Agenda from their video from 2016 of the WEF’s “8 Predictions for the World in 2030,” that ‘you will own nothing and you will be happy.‘ This is the seemingly successful end of Satan’s goal for mankind. This, ladies and gentlemen, is ultimate trafficking and merchandising on planet earth. I would say that the WEF could also be characterized as the top of his young twigs. These are lesser psycho twigs from the larger psycho eagle tree, Satan. Oh, yes, definitely the majority of this world will be happy to take the mark of the beast, which is the implanted chip of control (many have already willingly accepted this); they will be happy to have nothing has long as they have their cell phones, and their Tik-Tok video games, and their ‘recreational drugs,’ and their credit score of pliability, and they will be happy as long as they are allowed all the fantasies of their evil imaginations . . . they will be happy.

   The following verses are books within each phrase. He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree. (Ezekiel 17:5) And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him: so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs. (Ezekiel 17:6) Summarily, everything that Satan plants spread as the lowest form of growth. From the highest positioned branches to the lowest root, all turn toward Satan, all are under him, and these low hanging twigs propagate others of its kind. I leave you to explore these verses for your own personal study because we need to go on to the other great eagle in the second section of Ezekiel Chapter 17.

TWO GREAT EAGLES

This First Eagle that is mentioned represents Satan

•  And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:(Ezekiel 17:3)

The Second Eagle that is mentioned represents God.

•  There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation. (Ezekiel 17:7)

  This second GREAT EAGLE that begins in verse SEVEN (7) represents God has MANY FEATHERS. This seventh verse closely compares to verse 3. The commonality and the differences are obvious. This great eagle (verse 7) has MANY feathers versus the first eagle that was FULL of feathers. Such a small point between FULL and MANY, but the Spirit of God just doesn’t select words out of the air to describe anything without a purpose and a reason for His selection. Again, the Law of First Mention leads to a fuller understanding of words. (Have you noticed yet that I rarely draw from the Hebrew or Greek language to gain an understanding into words? Do you know why? Because I do not know Greek nor Hebrew, and why go to words (etymology) when the Spirit of God has already given us His correct words. I intensely dislike when teachers and preachers say, ‘Well, this word in the Hebrews (or Greek) really means . . . . in the original.’ . . . when they do not have the original parchments, nor do they know the original languages of Hebrew or Greek. These ancient languages are different from what is known today in the contemporary use of Hebrew and Greek. The book of Zephaniah Chapter 3, verse 9 states that God will turn the people to a pure language, a language that they once had and lost. For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.)

   Let us proceed with the words (FULL full of feathers versus MANY many feathers) from the Holy Spirit of God. Always go to the beginning of words. There are 249 verses in the Bible with the word ‘full.’ The Law of First Mention follows a word from its first appearance to its last appearance. Throughout the 249 documentations there are many different applications, however, the very first application holds the core thought in the word FULL. If you have been following this series, then you know that Genesis Chapter 14 is the first united confederation of forces in the first recorded war among nations and is a shadow of the last united confederation of forces that will fight against Christ and Israel in the Battle of Armageddon. And guess where the first mention of ‘full‘ is placed. And the vale of Siddim [was full of] slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain. (Genesis 14:10) The word ‘full‘ is connected to slimepits in the vale of Siddim (valley of fields, cultivators) where kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there. This is the only time that slimepits is mentioned in the Bible, and this vale was FULL of toxic waste. I would definitely say that the first application of the word full connects to evil.

   Now let us go to the last documentation of the word ‘full.’ And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, (Revelation 16:10) So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. (Revelation 17:3) And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: (Revelation 17:4) There are a few times that the word full is connected to God, however, the number of times that this word connects to evil outnumbers the times that it connects to goodness. Therefore, the word FULL in scripture mostly connects to evil: full of darkness, full of names of blasphemy, and full of abominations and filthiness. (I do not make this stuff up!)

   Following on the contrast of the description between these two great eagles, the second eagle mentioned has MANY feathers. Such a small word, and a small point of comparison and contrast between the description of the first eagle and the second eagle, but nevertheless, God the Holy Spirit loudly voices His thoughts in the smallest word and in the smallest detail. There are five hundred and twenty-five (525) verses with the word ‘many,’ and there are numerous applications to this word, however, the FIRST mention most always connects to the LAST mention, this is The Law of First Mention. The first documentation of the word ‘many‘ is found in Genesis Chapter 17, verse 4. Carefully read and carefully consider what God unfolded to Abraham and to us.

As for me, behold, my covenant [is] with thee, and thou shalt be a father of  many nations. (Genesis 17:4)

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. (Genesis 17:5)

And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. (Genesis 17:6)

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. (Genesis 17:7)

And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. (Genesis 17:8)

   This was God’s covenant with and to Abraham. This was an everlasting covenant based on promise not based on law. The land (as a possession) was part of God’s greater everlasting covenant for a Seed, and everlasting seed was given that I will be their God. This is the ultimate of ultimates that God the Creator, the God of Spirit, and of truth and love covenanted (PROMISED) to be a God unto thee. Galatians 3:16 informs us that Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. In Galatians 3:19 those of faith are joined with the promises of God in Abraham, And if ye [be] Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

   The very first time that the Holy Spirit of God used the word many connects God’s promise not only to Israel but to all those of faith who believed God as Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness. Here in the word many we see the connection of God’s promises to Israel and to all those who lived and live by faith. Where does this connection of ‘many‘ leads to its fulfillment? The book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, of course, is where we have the last mention of the word many. Revelation 19:12, is the fulfillment of I will be their God. Of course, God promises are all fulfilled in the twelfth verse (12 of course represents Israel and the apostles) in the words, His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. Here are His many crowns. What began in the promise to Abraham as many nations could only be fulfilled and accomplished by the One who wore many crowns.

1. The King (Isaiah 33:17) (Luke 19:38)

2. The King of the Jews (Matthew 2:2)

3. The King of Israel (John 1:47-49)

4. The King of saints (Revelation 15:3-4)

5. The King Eternal of all ages (1 Timothy 1:17)

6. The King of Righteousness and Peace (Hebrews 7:1-3)

7. The King of heaven (Daniel 4:37 then 34)

8. The King of glory (Psalm 24:7,8)

9. The King of kings (Revelation 19:12-16)

10. My King and My God (Psalm 5:2) (Psalm 44:4)

11. King over all the earth (Psalm 47:2, 7)

12. The King of nations (Jeremiah 10:7)

   There is no such thing in scripture as a minor point, or a small meaningless word or abstract concept. Everything connects. (I do not make this stuff up!)

There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation. (Ezekiel 17:7)

   The first description of the first eagle was all about the eagle, longwinged, with divers colours, where it came to and the position that it took. However, the second eagle is more concerned with the vine (Israel) and her roots and her growth. And it is THIS great eagle who waters this vine (Israel). 

   Let us cut to the chase. After presenting us with the enemy of Israel (Babylon) and how Babylon brought on the destruction of Israel (both the northern tribes and the southern tribes) never truly recovered her glory days of David and Solomon. Although Israel returned to the land, she only enjoyed small time periods of even smaller points of recovery and became slaves under many Roman Caesar’s . . . . from Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar to Rome under Caesar’s Israel ceased to exist as a nation but became a vassal state as corrupt as the nation who ruled over her. I cannot leave this statement without comparing this to what we are living today. . . . a vassal state as corrupt as the nation who ruled over her. Our current propaganda is that the United States needs to go to war surreptitiously with Russia over a small nation being invaded by her enemy. Wrong, this little nation (Ukraine) has for many administrations been used as a corrupt vassal state employed as a washing machine laundering money and redirecting funds back into the pockets of its controllers, the larger and more corrupt larger vassal, the United States. However, the United States is also under the control of a larger corrupt global power structure. This larger global structure owns the political power center of the United States and many other corrupt nations; in order to finalize a one world agenda all independent nations must be destroyed; thus, Russia is in their cross hairs, and China also has to come into and under their confederation of oneness, how I do not know. Part of the agenda of the WEF is that no nation must be allowed to remain independent outside of their domain . . . . Satan’s domain . . .  even as the WEF appears to follow China’s lead.  Good guys versus bad guys is not the reality of their game plan for ALL are bad guys, it is always the people who suffer, but the Battle of Armageddon will bring in a righteous Ruler, a Righteous King.

    It was very difficult for the people of Israel (especially her politically corrupt leaders) to accept reality. The gospel of John Chapter 8 verses 31-33 reveals the inability of man to accept reality. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; (John 8:31) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32) They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? (John 8:33) Are you kidding me? They had been slaves in Egypt for four hundred years, and they had been enslaved many times in their own land by Canaanites, Perizzites, and the Amorites, they had been invaded and taken over by Tiglathpileser king of Assyria – (745 B.C. – 727 B.C.), Shalmaneser king of Assyria – (727 B.C. – 722 B.C.), Sennacherib king of Assyria – (722 B.C. – 705 B.C.) and Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon- (604 B.C. – 562 B.C.) and they dared to say, while under the iron claw of the eagle of Rome, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man. We, as citizens of the United States, are also not capable of facing reality that we have been held in slavery for a very long time by the corrupt claws of the abominable eagle in the tangible eagle of an imposter government, and the unseen great eagle of Satan. We may sing of freedom, and speak of freedom, and write of freedom, but the glory days of the United States have been carried away on eagles’ wings, the wings of a great abominable eagle. The peoples of the nations are also in willing slavery, financially enslaved by their own greed, lust, idolatry and of their own making.

   Read the remainder of Ezekiel 17 on your own. The last verse, verse 24, is the verse of victory for Israel. The riddle that began in verse 2, ends with the answer to the riddle that Israel will be exalted as never before, far beyond her early glory days. Israel will flourish as she will rule over the earth and become what God promised. And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it. (Ezekiel 17:24) That it is JEHOVAH who is the great eagle, it is the LORD who saves Israel, and GOD who exalts Israel and fulfills all His prophecies of the apple of His eye.

Side Note: The Cost. Writing about evil takes a toll on one’s spirit. Although having written about the valiant fight, heavy clouds of deep sadness have overwhelmed my heart. Seeing one’s own nation crumble, and other nations on the verge of crumbling takes a toll on my spirit. Actually, being of the generation that experiences mankind’s transition from humanity to beasthood is not an easy journey. All servants of God know the cost of truth and spiritual realization. I am not alone in my small corner. And I know that if it is in God’s purpose, this nation and all nations will recover, nevertheless, although nothing is impossible with God, our desires and wants must be in line with the impossibilities of God’s possibilities. Anything else is to fight against His possibilities. For with God nothing shall be impossible. (Luke 1:37) ♦ End of Side Note: The Cost.

The Two Wings

   Sorry folks, but we cannot close out this section yet. At this point, we have still not settled the mystery of who aided and abetted Israel to escape from the clutches of the Beast, the man of sin, the 6 – 6 – 6, the Antichrist. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. (Revelation 12:14) What military force secretly flew in on airplanes and rescued Israel? Again, whenever facing a question always turn to scripture. And before we do that, let’s remind ourselves of this time period of Israel’s great tribulation. I realize that many readers do not believe in the translation of the Church. Nevertheless, the translation of the Church not only is important for the Church, and also for those who are not translated, but who remain on the earth and also to the nation of Israel. I am flying with a safety net under me. The Holy Spirit of God is my safety net.

   The translation is a subject of mystery to many, controversial to a few, and completely unknown to the majority. Therefore, let’s attempt to unwrap this mystery to allow the curious, the cynic, the ignorant and the believer to understand the historical significance of what is called ‘the translation.’ Within the parameters of this word ‘translation‘ we have both history and prophecy. Many refer to this event as ‘the rapture,’ however, the Holy Spirit of God used the words, translate, translated, and translation. This is not going to be a study on the translation, but it is needful for some ground to be laid down before we can continue with two wings of a great eagle.

   Beginning historically, the first person documented as translated was the man, Enoch. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Enoch’s translation was the evidence of hope. Enoch’s translation was the evidence of immortality. Enoch’s translation was the evidence of the world of the Supernatural. Enoch’s translation was the evidence of God’s grace and love. Through Enoch’s translation God has given us a taste of what lies ahead for the children of God.

   The Spirit of God gives us just enough information regarding this event to give us hope of the glory that awaits all of His children. Many have questions, and many have doubts, but God’s word is sure and steadfast. Those who question ask, When will the Spirit of God be taken out of the world? How will the church, the sons of God be translated? Why doesn’t God tell us more about this earth-shattering event?

   In my opinion, this event may be earth shattering for those who will be translated, but I don’t think that it will be such a great earth-shattering event for those who remain. Very few will be missed at the next church meeting after the translation. Very few family members will be missed at the next family gathering after the translation. Very few will be looked for, or searched for, or even thought of after the translation because the propaganda media will be quick to cover this event as just a missing person’s report only worthy of a few seconds of airtime. There may be earthly tragedies that may occur because of the translation of Christians in various actions at the moment of their translation, but those tragedies will soon be made to be as nothing, or as normal accidents, or as minor events. Propaganda agencies are expert at deliberately simultaneously fabricating many conflicting theories to distract and confuse their listeners. As cats frantically chase after a laser spot not seeing the one who holds the laser . . . . this will also be the method that will be used to distract the herd of cats from the knowledge of a translation of Christians to another event (maybe even an alien abduction . . . . silly cats chase anything . . . have you noticed that lately there have been a number of propaganda agencies talking about ‘aliens’? I believe that they are beginning to lay down some background stories on some upcoming preplanned event. )

   There may be a few individuals who will be missed after the translation of the Church, but not many. I do not believe that I will be missed at all by anyone. This MASSIVE EARTH MOVING EVENT will be quickly passed over the very next second after it happened as being nothing of consequence. The truth of God will be removed, the Spirit of Christ will be removed, the witnesses of God and the testimonies of Christ will be removed, and the people left will be made ready for the person of their desires . . . . that WICKED one. (With the Spirit of God removed by God and the sons of God removed by God, will anyone who remains be able to be saved?) YES. However, this world will be greatly changed by the preparation of that WICKED.

   At the translation of the Church, there is a huge transition on earth not based on the Church’s translation but based on the upheaval of social and environmental changes. Think . . . the Church is gone, and Israel once again is the center piece of God’s actions. The world transitions back to the Old Testament world conditions. The world of the God’s supernatural dealings with mankind becomes evident. The Spirit of God opens the mysteries of God that was closed in the Old Testament, mysteries that we have closed our eyes to, unable to allow our hearts and minds to accept.

   There were two translations in the Old Testament: the first was the man Enoch, the second was the prophet, Elijah. Why did God through His Spirit write of two separate and extremely different translations? God is a God of order . . . one must come before two. Enoch, (a type of the children of faith, the Christian) before The Law, was translated into the heavens and then the judgment of the earth followed. Elijah after The Law was translated into the heavens via a fiery chariot while OUTSIDE of the land of Israel. Enoch represented the Church. Elijah while he was outside of the land represented the nation of Israel taken outside of the land by wings of angels. Again, I am going to ask you to read. Read all of 2^nd Kings, Chapter 2, verses 1 – 12. Notice that there are twelve (12) verses in this narrative as recorded by the Holy Spirit of God concerning the translation of God’s prophet Elijah, the second man in scripture who never went through death. As you read notice the places that Elijah stopped, (Gilgal, Bethel and Jericho). Notice the similarities between Israel’s escape from Pharaoh through the Red Sea, and the crossing of the Jordan when Israel first went into the land led by the ark of the covenant carried on the shoulders of the priests. Yes, this all will connect to The Two Wings.

And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. (2^nd Kings 2:1)

And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel. (2^nd Kings 2:2)

And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace. (2^nd Kings 2:3)

And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho. (2^nd Kings 2:4)

And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan. (2^nd Kings 2:7)

And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground. (2^nd Kings 2:8)

And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. (2^nd Kings 2:9)

And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. (2^nd Kings 2:10)

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. (2^nd Kings 2:11)

And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. (2^nd Kings 2:12)

   From Gilgal (a circle, a wheel), And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. (2^nd Kings 2:1) to Bethel (the house of God) for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel, to Jericho (a place of fragrance, his fragrance) for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho, to the river Jordan (the river of death or/and their descent) for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. 2^nd Kings 2:1 begins a spiritual journey by Elijah (my God is Jehovah) representing Israel in their spiritual journey beginning with Gilgal as the starting place of the nation of Israel; God’s ever spinning wheel of His care and sovereignty over His nation. It was at Gilgal where Joshua first encamped and laid the twelve stones from the Jordan onto the land. At this point where the twelve stones were laid from the Jordan the people of Israel kept the first Passover in their land in the plains of fragrance. (Joshua 4:19, 20; 5:9, 10)

   From the place of the removal of the stigma and taint of Egypt rolled off of them, Israel then camped in Bethel, the house of God, as they followed the tabernacle of God in the wilderness. Her journey continued not only in the wilderness but also when she came into the glory days of David and Solomon and then during those ages Israel was spiritually surrounded with the sweet fragrance of God’s blessing. Then in false pride and self-assurance Israel left the plains of sweet fragrance and journeyed downward into the place of descent, into the waters of death. Elijah’s physical journey replicated Israel’s spiritual journey. Elijah was not in Israel when a chariot of fire, and horses of fire lifted him up into the heavens, he was on the other side of the river Jordan, the river of death. When Elijah and Elisha crossed the Jordan, it was on dry land, replicating the great supernatural event at the Red Sea when Israel escaped from the eagle Pharaoh. (Mini Side Note: The river Jordan was parted three times. Your mini study will be to answer, when, by whom, and why?)

   When Elijah was removed alive from this earth his feet stood on ground not connected to Israel. Why? And how does Elijah’s removal connect to The End of the World as we know it? After the Church is translated, things will move very quickly. The word ‘translate’ is appropriate for the translation of the Church will be the new world state of existence, of a period of time of transition, and a transition from the old-world order to a new world order. A transition from our known economy to an economy that will move mankind back into the period known as the Dark Ages. This is what the Reset of the 2030 Agenda is working towards: a time of serfdom. (But here again, this another thread that I must not pull. I must stay on point.)

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (2^nd Thessalonians 2:3)

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2^nd Thessalonians 2:4)

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? (2^nd Thessalonians 2:5)

And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. (2^nd Thessalonians 2:6)

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. (2^nd Thessalonians 2:7)

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (2^nd Thessalonians 2:8)

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (2^nd Thessalonians 2:9)

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (2^nd Thessalonians 2:10)

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (2^nd Thessalonians 2:11)

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2^nd Thessalonians 2:12)

    After the Spirit of God departs THEN shall that Wicked be revealed. Nothing now blocks the man of sin . . . .the son of perdition, from revealing himself sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember from previous articles, that this man of sin first approaches Israel as a person of peace, with the power to ensure global peace among ‘nations,’ (who are not really independent nations, but vassals of The Global State). After signing a seven-year peace treaty with Israel, he renounces and revokes this treaty after three and half years, and then when he breaks this treaty he will sit in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. It is at that point that a remnant of Israel realizes that they must escape.

   As Elijah was outside of Israel in a land not of Israel, so also, Israel at the time of her last betrayal when her treaty is broken, realizes that she was really not in her own land. Israel had been sold. As she sold herself to her enemies before her captivity to Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar, she also sold herself to her enemies at the end. Remember that Lucifer/Satan was the original wheeler dealer, the master merchandiser, the ultimate negotiator of the sales pitch, the trickster trafficker of indulgences and favors. The merchants of money and political/religious manipulators of greed and guile were traits greatly used by the Jews that aided in the selling of Israel in their own captivity to Babylon. Israel sold herself then and she will again sell herself to her enemies. However, the selling of one’s own nation is not entirely a new thing, nor unusual, for almost every failed nation has been sold by its own citizens. The United States has some of the greatest sales personnel wheeling and dealing in the United States Congress selling out their own nation. And we love to have it so, because we accept their treason as natural and refuse to hold these people accountable.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes; (Amos 2:6)

Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,(Amos 8:4) Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit? (Amos 8:5) That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat? (Amos 8:6)

The Two Wings of a Great Eagle

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. (Revelation 12:14)

   The threads we are pulling on now are firstly, what military force swoops down on wings of eagles and saves Israel? And secondly, how does Elijah’s removal from the earth relate to Israel’s escape? It all connects. 

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. (2^nd Kings 2:11)

And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. (2^nd Kings 2:12)

   You don’t see eagles nor two wings, but we see a chariot of fire, and horses of fire. Elisha (through the Spirit of God) cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. In Elijah’s translation we see the judgment of fire, in fact, fire is mentioned twice in 2^nd Kings 2:11. Elijah judged with fire, he was removed from the fire of God’s judgment by a chariot and horses. The chariot of Israel could be seen as The Great Eagle of Israel, Jehovah.

   When reading this verse, I asked, Why TWO wings of a great eagle. After all, eagles have two wings, so why would the Holy Spirit of God include the words TWO WINGS? And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. (Revelation 12:14)

   To find the answer to the question, Why TWO wings? look to scripture, of course, for scripture always supplies the answer. These words two wings are documented three (3) times in scripture.

• For the cherubims spread forth [their] two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above. (1^st Kings 8:7)

   The first documentation of TWO WINGS informs us that it is the representation of Cherubims who covered the Ark AND the staves. Interesting that not only did their TWO WINGS cover the ark, but their TWO WINGS also covered the staves. Why did the Holy Spirit of God inform us that their wings also covered the staves? The staves appear to be a minor part of the ark because the staves were what the priests placed on their shoulders to move the ark. (A stave is a plural word for staff.) Scripture describes these staves, and their purpose. These staves were never removed from the ark. Whenever Israel journeyed in the wilderness, the ark of the testimony and the mercy seat that sat on the top of the ark was carried on the shoulders of the Levites. The sole purpose of the staves was to aid the Ark of the testimony in leading the people of Israel in their travels.

• And thou shalt make staves [of] shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. (Exodus 25:13) And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them. (Exodus 25:14) The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it. (Exodus 25:15)

•The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat, (Exodus 39:35)

•And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD. (1^st Chronicles 15:15)

• And I will feed the flock of slaughter, [even] you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock. (Zechariah 11:7) God called these two staves Beauty and Band. The words Beauty and Bands are capitalized to aid us in comprehending that Beauty and Bands represents a particular Being: God. Both of these staves represented God in His beauty and in His covenant promise to Abraham that would forever bind Israel to Him, and Him to them. It was the Lord in the beauty of holiness that carried Israel on the shoulders of earthly priests through the wilderness as it was the heavenly High Priest Melchisedec who has carried Israel on His shoulders throughout their history, as He will carry them into His millennial reign on earth. These two staves (Beauty and Bands) under the two wings of the Cherubims carried Israel (the flock of slaughter) safely through the wilderness into the land of promise.

Give unto the LORD the glory [due] unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. (1^st Chronicles 16:29)

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. (Psalm 50:2)

Honour and majesty [are] before him: strength and beauty [are] in his sanctuary. (Psalm 96:6)

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. (Psalm 96:9)

Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off. (Isaiah 33:17)

And I took my staff, [even] Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people. (Zechariah 11:10)

   Details upon details, God leaves nothing to our imagination. The TWO WINGS of the great eagle were the wings of the Cherubims, and under their wings God placed TWO STAVES which He called Beauty and Bands. And under the TWO WINGS and the TWO STAVES Israel (the flock of the slaughter) will be carried safely away.

   His holiness tied Israel to Himself and thus, nothing could break God’s love and care for His people. Just in case, you cannot grasp that Beauty and Bands typified God in Christ, then read the rest of Zechariah Chapter 11 to understand that Beauty is Christ, and that Bands is the first blood covenant that God made with Israel tying them to Him through blood. Then in verse 10, Beauty (Christ) is CUT or cut off from the land of the living, and in verse 14 Bands (the Covenant) is also CUT and a NEW blood covenant is made with Judah and Israel.

And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.  (Zechariah 11:10)

And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD. (Zechariah 11:11)

And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. (Zechariah 11:12)

And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD. (Zechariah 11:13)

Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel. (Zechariah 11:14)

For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: (Hebrews 8:8)

In that he saith, A new [covenant], he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old [is] ready to vanish away. (Hebrews 8:13)

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel. (Hebrews 12:24)

   I could go on and on and on but let us return to the second documentation of TWO WINGS found in Ezekiel 1:11, Thus [were] their faces: and their wings [were] stretched upward; two [wings] of every one [were] joined one to another, and two covered their bodies. Here we have their wings stretched upward, and we are given more information about these winged beings. These beings are NOT Cherubims. They are Seraphims, another order of angelic beings and they are called beasts in Revelation 4:8, And the four beasts had each of them six wings about [him]; and [they were] full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. Earth language and meanings are, of course, different from the language of heaven and the meanings of heaven. These angelic beings are called beasts because they are not of a humanoid form and beyond our comprehension. We think of beasts as a lower form of animal, lower than mankind, however, if you have ever had a pet then you know that they are more loving, more faithful, more protective, more caring and more loyal than most humans. If you have ever worked with wild animals, then you also comprehend that their senses and instincts are most often far more advanced than man. These Seraphims are another type of angelic creature; consequently, unveiling that God’s realm is richly inhabited with creatures beyond our comprehension. Scripture allows us to see only a small range of the creatures and beasts in His realm because our limited minds could not possibly deal with the vastness of God’s world. Unlike the Cherubims, Seraphims have SIX wings Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. (Isaiah 6:2) I struggle to stay on point. The point is TWO WINGS of the great eagle. The TWO WINGS belong to our great eagle. It is not the eagle who has TWO WINGS, but the eagle employs those who have TWO WINGS.

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. (Revelation 12:14)

   Israel was given Cherubims and Seraphims of the Supernatural world to carry her into the wilderness. I’m so sorry to inform you that it will not be man, neither airplanes, nor an earthly military force that will carry Israel to safety. I realize that man loves to make up their own sci-fi stories of planes, and secret man-made military weapons whenever they venture into the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. But, from Chapter 4 onward man’s natural dealings seldom come into play. This last book of symbolism and typology reveals God Supernatural power. At the last battle (before the millennial reign of Christ) the Battle of Armageddon is Supernatural.

And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. (Zechariah 14:12)

   As Elijah was carried upward by a chariot of fire, with horses of fire, a Supernatural act of God in a translation of God’s prophet, so also God’s people, Israel, will also be translated as Elijah. Elijah was the evidence of a second translation. But his translation was accomplished visibly so that Elisha was cognizant of this momentous event. Compare 2^nd Kings 2:11 with Ezekiel 1:4.

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, [there appeared] a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. (2^nd Kings 2:11)

And I looked, and, behold,  a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness [was] about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire. (Ezekiel 1:4)

   I definitely do not want to get into Chapter 1 of the book of Ezekiel, however, in order to stay on point I have selected specific verses in order to show another living creature in God’s realm. This creature has four (4) faces, and FOUR WINGS. We have already written about the Cherubims (the two winged angelic beings), and the Seraphims (the six winged beasts) and now we see the four winged creatures; their four faces typify Christ as He is represented in the four gospels: As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle. (Ezekiel 1:10) Matthew is the gospel of the King, the lion; Mark is the gospel of the servant, the ox; Luke is the gospel of the Son of man, face of a man; and the gospel of John is the book of the Holy Spirit, the eagle. They traveled as a flash of lightning. And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning. (Ezekiel 1:14)

   There have been other scriptures that have shown God’s providential care for His people. In Exodus 19:4, God proclaims that under the leadership of Moses, and the Supernatural crossing of the Red Sea it was GOD who bore Israel on eagles’ wings to Himself to Mount Sinai. Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and [how] I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.

   As we conclude this small portion of Revelation 12:14 . . . And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, it is also needful to add another scripture to the claim that a remnant of Israel (the woman) escapes from a sure slaughter, the flock of slaughter, by the staves (Beauty and Bonds) that carried the Ark of testimony under the two wings of the Cherubims safely into the wilderness. In this translation of Israel God used his angels’ spirits. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. (Hebrews 1:7) All the power of God’s spirits, angelic creatures and beasts will translate Israel into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. (Revelation 12:14) The one little scripture that concludes Israel’s translation is found in Isaiah 60:8, Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows? The 60^th Chapter of Isaiah is about those who go into the millennial reign of Christ on earth.

Side Note: Translated and the Power of God. God’s great power as a great eagle also can be seen in other events that many easily breeze over.

And when they were come up out of the water,  the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. (Acts 8:39) But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea. (Acts 8:40) Philip was taken up and whisked away by the Spirit of the Lord.

And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them. (John 6:17) And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew. (John 6:18) So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid. (John 6:19) But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid. (John 6:20) Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went. (John 6:21) This translation not only involved the disciples, but also the ship that they were in. The ship, the disciples and the Lord IMMEDIATELY were transported to their destination. Was this not a translation?

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. (Matthew 22:29) The words the power of God is documented fourteen (14) times in the entire Bible, although there are thirteen verses, one verse has the phrase the power of God twice, therefore, in the number fourteen we have the double portion of God’s perfection, the number seven doubled. (Mark 12:24; Luke 9:43, 22:69; Acts 8:10; Romans 1:16; 1st Corinthians 1:18, 24; 2nd Corinthians 6:7, 13:4; 2nd Timothy 1:8; 1st Peter 1:5) Now tell me again that men wrote the Bible without the Holy Spirit of God directing the exact words. Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. ♦ End of Side Note: Translated and the Power of God.

  First, Christ comes in the air to gather His Church to Himself in the FIRST translation, then Christ sends His winged angels, creatures and beasts to gather a remnant of Israel and lifts them into the wilderness on eagles’ wings, this is the SECOND translation. Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows? It is Israel who will fly as a cloud as doves to their windows, as the dove with the olive leaf of peace in her beak flew to Noah in Genesis Chapter 8 (the number of a new beginning) into the ark of safety.
