THE DAUGHTER OF BABYLON

   If you are new to this site, then let me offer you my condolences because most articles require much effort and thought. Having introduced myself to you as a teacher who enjoys a challenge, I sometimes may appear to ask more of you than you are able to give . . . never mind because I will never know if you skip over the reading assignments. However, in order for you to understand this article, it will be necessary for you to read Part 1. CLICK HERE. There is a reason that I am called ‘contrary Mary.’   
    We are studying the phrase daughter of Babylon. The phrase daughter of Babylon is recorded five (5) times in Scripture and is found only in the Old Testament. (Although the number five represents God’s grace, there is the negative side of the number five, God’s wrath. Rejecting God’s grace can only result in bringing on God’s wrath and that is the negative side of number five and the daughter of Babylon represents the false grace of works that are not of faith.) Always return to the beginning to comprehend the journey ahead. The daughter of Babylon is veiled through the number five in the first recorded war on earth in Genesis Chapter 14.    Part 1 focuses on the first two mentions of daughter of Babylon. So, now onto the 3rd mention of daughter of Babylon in the book of Jeremiah, Chapter 50, with 46 verses. I warned you about the reading assignments.

The 50th Chapter of the Book of Jeremiah
The Present Age of Confusion is Built on the Past Ages of Confusion

   Jeremiah Chapters 50 and 51 should be read together, however, Chapter 51 has sixty-four (64) verses and it is definitely a very long read for most people. Since I most probably will never return to these chapters again: it, therefore, becomes a challenge for me and for you to see what God the Holy Spirit has for our learning.

● For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. (Romans 15:4)
● For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? (1st Corinthians 9:9)  Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1st Corinthians 9:10)
● All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2nd Timothy 3:16) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (2nd Timothy 3:17)

   Chapters 50 and 51 should be read together because they are joined as twins to the same enemy, the same prophecy of judgment, and to the same Deliverer. Do not think that Jeremiah wrote only for his nation Israel and for all Israelites because in the 1st Chapter of Jeremiah God defines not only Jeremiah’s earthly background, but also the spiritual UNSEEN background in God’s program of election and ordination BEFORE Jeremiah’s birth. God melds together the SEEN world and the UNSEEN world through the birth of His preordained prophet. Jeremiah was ORDAINED A PROPHET UNTO THE NATIONS. Jeremiah (through the dictates of the Spirit of God) wrote his book for ALL of us. So, for those who erroneously believe that the Old Testament is not for the Christian . . . boo hoo!

The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin: (Jeremiah 1:1)
To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. (Jeremiah 1:2)
It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month. (Jeremiah 1:3)
Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, (Jeremiah 1:4)
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. (Jeremiah 1:5)
Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. (Jeremiah 1:6)
But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. (Jeremiah 1:7)
Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. (Jeremiah 1:8)
Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. (Jeremiah 1:9)
See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. (Jeremiah 1:10)

   Notice the message in the numbers? Jeremiah Chapter 50 has 46 verses, and Jeremiah Chapter 51 has 64 verses? Coincidence? Irrelevant? Nonsense? Chapters 50 and 51 are both written to show God’s Sovereign power and man’s limited powers. These two chapters are both filled with JUDGMENT. Understand that JUDGMENT is not JUST a future happening, but this world, this earth, has been under the judgment of God from the beginning of The Law of Sin and Death. God wiped this world clean with the cleansing force of the universal flood, yet sin is so pervasive that Adamkind and the earth once again needs to be cleansed, but this time it will not be cleansed by water. Ever since the rebirth of our world from the waters of judgment, we, the world, the peoples of the world have been under the judgment of God.
   The numbers 46–64 speak of sinful man (6) locked into and surrounded by the world (4) and all that the world is controlled by . . . SIN and DEATH. Man cannot escape from this evil world. Man cannot escape from the judgment of God against a deadly world. Man is imprisoned by all that controls the world.
   The ancient world before the flood and after the flood existed by the dictates of the world, and to this very moment the world has taken control over the hearts, bodies and minds of mankind. Through the hidden messages within the combined numerical structure in Chapters 50 and 51 God also reveals Himself. Twice He is seen as the HOLY ONE of Israel (Jeremiah 50:29; 51:5). Once He is seen as the KING because He is the KING, (Jeremiah 51:57) and it is once because He is the ONLY ONE who bears the crown as the King of Israel AND also as King OVER THE EARTH.

● Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. (John 18:37)
● Which in his times he shall shew, [who is] the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; (1st Timothy 6:15)
● These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him [are] called, and chosen, and faithful. (Revelation 17:14)
● And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:16)

   Chapters 50 and 51 of the book of Jeremiah both deal with the destruction of the daughter of Babylon. Both chapters are long reads, but necessary. As Chapter 47 sets the prophecy for Revelation Chapter 18, so these two chapters in Jeremiah also connect to Revelation Chapter 18.
   Jeremiah 50:42 is a prophetic scene of TOTAL war AGAINST the daughter of Babylon. Note the words cruel and will not shew mercy. Yes, God approves of this scene. Yes, God not only prophecies of this action, but He has determined in His counsels that this shall be. God uses man to show to man what man is: cruel and merciless. All are evil. The enemies of Babylon and her daughter are as evil as Babylon itself. ALL ARE EVIL. Those who are honest in their observation of the contemporary legacy news propaganda agencies as voices for the political sovereigns of wealth and tyranny understands that evil not only controls evil, but evil also works to destroy evil . . . the phrase ‘evil eats its own‘ correctly describes the child or daughter of evil . . . the daughter of Babylon. Scripture supplies the result of evil eating its own.

● And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man’s sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, [and] to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath. (Judges 7:22)
● And Saul and all the people that were with him assembled themselves, and they came to the battle: and, behold, every man’s sword was against his fellow, and there was a very great discomfiture. (1st Samuel 14:20)
● For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another. (2nd Chronicles 20:23)

   Have you not seen how the person or organization who today is praised by the propaganda media will tomorrow be vilified by the same voices who praised them yesterday? We have also been victims of how the lying news agencies praise today the same person that they slandered yesterday. Fickleness is one of many unstated job requirements necessary for politicians and news propagandists. In fact, fickleness and duplicity is highly valued among journalists (falsely so called). How quickly mankind can be persuaded to turn against his brother, his neighbor or his friend. The plandemic of covid was merely a trial run of control and manipulation. How quickly a nation can be persuaded to turn against itself. Mankind has become conditioned to accepting all what they hear as truth. Common sense and analytical observation have become an art . . . a lost art.

They shall hold the bow and the lance: they [are] cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, [every one] put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon. (Jeremiah 50:42)

   The warring factions who come AGAINST the daughter of Babylon, the product of Babylon, will be just as merciless and cruel as Babylon. To battle against evil, our Sovereign God USES evil itself because evil delights in evil. The plan of evil is not to have goodness as a result but to continue evil in another direction or another sphere of evilness. Goodness neither comes from evil, nor is it a result of evil. However, our amazing and wondrous God can TURN what is intended for evil into a victory for goodness. (Remember July 13th, 2024, Butler-PA, the attempted assassination of President Trump by our own government. How do I know it was a government hit? Simply because it failed in all points: their many conflicting storylines and timelines, the quick removal of all evidence, the whitewashing of the crime scene, the absence of crime detection intelligence . . . their confusion, inefficiency, and incompetency revealed that failure had not been considered since a crossfire attack had been planned similar to the crossfire attack against President Kennedy (meaning more than one shooter and one patsy). . . a typical government plan and reaction.) That historical event was a victory against evil in the sight of the entire world. That was a witness of God’s power in the sight of the entire world. This was also a witness of the depth of wickedness through scores of lying government agencies. This was a witness of the corruptness of the ‘f-BEE-eye,’ ‘the USSS’ and ‘The Department of Injustice and No Justice,’ also known as “The Depravity of Justice.” Man can deny God and His power, but they cannot annual His power, nor can they REMOVE God’s existence by their refusal to admit to His power. The foolishness and insanity of evil will NEVER submit to the reality of the existence of God and His power. How many times does God have to reveal Himself to mankind before man acknowledges His existence?)

   It was because the daughter of Babylon and her mother Babylon were both spiritual and physical murderers that God brought onto them their just rewards. (Always remember that Jezebel and her daughter Athaliah were both actual women representing Babylon and the daughter of Babylon.) This was and is God’s Department of Justice in righteous action through military means. Read the third mention of daughter of Babylon in Jeremiah 50:42 and ask who are ‘they‘? They shall hold the bow and the lance: they [are] cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, [every one] put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon. (Jeremiah 50:42) The answer to who are they is found in the previous verse. Behold, a people shall come from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. (Jeremiah 50:41) God the Holy Spirit presents the prophecy and Revelation 17:16 presents the completion. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.     There is a principle often avoided by man in this scene in Jeremiah 50:42. The principal is godly vengeance, or the righteous vengeance of the LORD. In the mind of unredeemed man, he finds it impossible to connect vengeance with GODLY vengeance.
    When Jeremiah (through the Holy Spirit of God) scribed the following words in Jeremiah 50, the main and primary subject was Babylon of his era, however in verse 42, the Spirit of God INCLUDES the daughter of Babylon, the future Babylon, the spirit of Babylon of our age and time, and the Babylon to come. Although Babylon spiritually has always been entwined in the affairs of man throughout ALL ages of mankind and throughout ALL nations and tribes, there is also a tangible Babylon to come that will rise from the sands of its birth in Babel. We, our age, (THIS rising began ages past) have become numb and blind to the reality of our situation that we are in the morning of the third day. We are not only in the age of the daughter of Babylon, the Age of Confusion, but we are in the age of the decline of truth and faith in the earth.

● I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8)
● Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (1st Timothy 4:1)
● Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (2nd Thessalonians 2:3)

   Evil that began as a united confederate city in Babel will end as a united confederate city of Babel. Chapter 50 is a long read of 46 verses. (In 46 we have the number of the world (4) and the number of man (6) united together through the system of Babylon, in the country of Babylon, and in the city of Babylon facing together their destruction by the hand of God. You don’t believe that the Holy Spirit KNEW that many years in the future that number sequences would be placed to His words? He not only KNEW, but He would use these future numbers to aid His message through those numbers! If you do not believe this about number sequences, then how can you believe in prophecy? Also, do not forget that the number fifty (50) is the number of jubilee and deliverance, so it is fitting to this 50th Chapter is a prophecy of great deliverance from the daughter of Babylon.) Chapter 50 is both ancient history and future history through prophecy. (The great thing about Bible study on the internet is that you can stop at any time get a deserved snack and pick up at your convenience, so dear reader, do not hesitate to bookmark this article.) As you read, consider ancient Babylon and the continuous system of Babylon as the primary subject, and the daughter of Babylon as the culmination of Babylon.

Against in the Old Testament
Jeremiah Chapter 50

● The word that the LORD spake against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet. (Jeremiah 50:1) This is the focus of this Chapter . . . the LORD’S words are AGAINST Babylon and AGAINST the land of the Chaldeans. God set the THEME of the 50th Chapter of Jeremiah in the very first verse. The word against is mentioned in thirteen (13) verses for a total of twenty-one (21) times in this Chapter. (Twenty-one is achieved by multiplying seven (7) times three (3). Through this number (21) there is the perfection of the GODHEAD in ALL of His Majestic Divinity. Think of this number 21 as the 21 gun salute honoring heads of state and consider that on a celestial plain that the number 21 honors the Highest over all, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Since we have these two extremely different numbers in the number 13 and the number 21, why did the Holy Spirit combine these two different numbers in the word AGAINST in Jeremiah 50? When ALL are AGAINST God then God in His supreme position of King of Kings and Lord of Lords and JUDGE over the whole earth ACTS to bring all those who are AGAINST Him into subjection and destruction.) God strengthens His message of words through spiritual numbers and the combination of numbers.

   There is no such thing as coincidence when the Holy Spirits breathes His thoughts into the hearts and minds of those who penned His thoughts. The LORD is very clear about the subject of this 50th Chapter. He is AGAINST Babylon (the state and the system) and AGAINST the land of the Chaldeans. Notice that God the Holy Spirit is extremely word sensitive about the history of man and geographics . . . the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity: (Ezekiel 23:15). The word Chaldea means ‘clod-breakers.’ It does NOT mean farmers. It means ‘destroyers of the earth.’ Another interesting point is that the word Chaldea is mentioned six (6) times in Scripture, six is the number of man. AND another interesting point, the phrase the land of the Chaldeans is mentioned NINE times, the number of finality. (Isaiah 23:13; Jeremiah 24:5. 12; 50:1, 8, 45; Jeremiah 51:4; Ezekiel 1:3. 12:13) Du’ja think maybe that God is trying to tell us something about that nation that gave birth to Babel, Babylon, and the daughter of Babylon, AND the land. Chapter 1, verse 6 describes the Chaldeans as a bitter and hasty nation. For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs.
   Understanding God’s wrath AGAINST Babylon and the daughter of Babylon is obvious in that Babylon and her daughter wreaked havoc with God’s people Israel and CONTINUES to do so.
   From the 5th book of Moses (Deuteronomy) God began through His progressive revelation to lay before the world AND Israel their SEEN and UNSEEN enemy and nemesis in the Chaldeans, a bitter and hasty nation. These people were molded, influenced and directed by our hidden nemesis, Satan. Do not lightly nor quickly read over the progressive prophecy of the Chaldeans and how their nation swallowed up other nations and peoples. Being ignorant of world history and especially biblical eastern history has significantly spiritually and physically injured the western world. God clearly laid out what was to come upon Israel and the world through His Supernatural book. The following references are too important to merely glibly just mention their addresses, thus, you must actually read all of the references. As you read, not only consider the importance of the verses as prophecy only but see it as the advancing adversary slowly through decades and centuries and millenniums forging across vast deserts and through tumultuous social upheavals headed by tyrannical despots capturing every grain of sand and every individual soul in its path. We, today, are in the Age of Confusion because of what and who came before us. Through Israel’s history, their land had been overcome by their enemies many times. As the history of Israel went, so also the history of the world also went. As Babylon captured and enslaved the world, so also, the daughter of Babylon also has captured and enslaved Israel AND the world. Consider the similarity of how each (Israel and the world) were overcome by the adversary . . . . INVASION, and the result of INVASION.

● For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs. (Habakkuk 1:6)
● The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; (Deuteronomy 28:49) A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young. (Deuteronomy 28:50)

  Whenever a breach or break in defensive lines is discovered it aids the adversary, THEN other enemies join in for the kill. Whatever nation you are currently in, most probably you can understand what Israel endured THEN and what she is enduring NOW because your nation, and my nation, are also suffering from INVADING hordes hungering for what belongs to you . . . to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs.

And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets. (2nd Kings 24:2)

   This prophecy of Jeremiah has as its main and first application the house of Israel; the second application through the daughter of Babylon takes in EVERY nation on this planet. Babylon was the first city and nation of conflict that brought the ruin of Jerusalem and Israel to the center point of God’s prophetic plan. The daughter of Babylon became and has continued to be the center point of God’s accomplished purpose in His great conflict between good and evil, thus the world as we know it today currently is experiencing the effects of INVASION by strangers in a land that is not theirs. The INVADERS have been paid and are being paid to INVADE by our own governments. They consume and devour what they have never grown, nor paid for, nor worked for because the battle plan has developed from capture and enslave to annihilation of every citizen. (Do NOT accept what the FAKE news relay to you that we need to be more charitable to the ‘newcomers.’ They are NOT ‘newcomers, they are INVADERS. These INVADERS from every corner of this globe are not asking for charity . . . they are DEMANDING rights, privileges and goods that they did not earn. When historical loyalty and inheritance no longer exists, loyalty then shifts to another . . . the STATE becomes the center point of loyalty and inheritance. This is MARXISM. What a clever evil plan. Taxation pays for INVASION. Taxation pays for the annihilation of taxpayers. NO taxpayers mean NO taxes and NO taxes means NO one works for money, but man THEN works for survival and for what the STATE decrees to be man’s worthiness to live . . . this is known as SLAVERY, glorious and improved SERFDOM where ALL are EQUALLY SLAVES. The mark of The Beast is the mark of OWNERSHIP.) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: (Revelation 13:16) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:17)

● Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say. (Jeremiah 5:15)
● And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword. (Jeremiah 5:17)
● And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours. (Jeremiah 5:19)

● Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces. (Jeremiah 50:2)
   Babylon means ‘confusion.’ Bel means ‘master, lord, chief,‘ and Merodach means ‘thy rebellion, death and slaughter.‘ How appropriate that man sets these idols of Confusion, master and lord and rebellion and death as centers of worship. Notice that the word confounded is mentioned twice, it means ‘confusion‘, and since Babylon means ‘confusion’ we would then have therefore, three mentions of confusion. One mention of confounded is unseen and hidden and the other two mentions are open and obvious but isn’t that exactly how confusion operates. (Babylon (Confusion) is taken, Bel (Master, lord, chief) is confounded (confused), Merodach (rebellion, death and slaughter) is broken in pieces.) Jeremiah 50:2 is a witness of God’s deliverance, His grace through His order of perfection not only that He delivered His people from the physical captivity of Babylon, but it also is the FUTURE deliverance of not only His people Israel, but ALL those of faith. How do I know this? (Babylon (Confusion) is taken, Bel (Master, lord, chief) is confounded (confused), Merodach (rebellion, death and slaughter) is broken in pieces.)
   God’s directive to Jeremiah is also our directive to Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say,

● Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, (1st Corinthians 15:51) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1st Corinthians 15:52) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (1st Corinthians 15:53) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (1st Corinthians 15:54) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (1st Corinthians 15:55) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. (1st Corinthians 15:56) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1st Corinthians 15:57)
● I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes. (Hosea 13:14)
● Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (Hebrews 2:14) And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (Hebrews 2:15)

   We are to set up a standard; publish, and conceal not . . . Our standard, our base camp, our flag identifies who we are, Christians, FOR CHRIST; PUBLISH in as many different ways available, CONCEAL NOT but proclaim to Babylon (Confusion) that Babylon is taken, Bel (Master, lord, chief) is confounded (confused), Merodach (rebellion, death and slaughter) is broken in pieces that Confusion is caught and captured; the master and lord of confusion is confused, and sin and rebellion has been destroyed. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)

● For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast. (Jeremiah 50:3) The primary subject of Jeremiah was, of course, the nation of Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar and continued under his son, Belshazzar. The enemies of the Babylonian dynasty struck the Capitol city of Babylon from the north. Verses 3 clearly speaks of A NATION AGAINST HER. This is a direct reference to the first destruction of the Babylonian culture. For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast. (Jeremiah 50:3)
   However, verse 9 refers to GREAT NATIONS from the NORTH country. For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows [shall be] as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain. Notice the description in verse 41. Behold, a people shall come from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. Do you see a difference from verse 3? This invasion came from the north, and it is also GREAT NATIONS, but the difference is many kings shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. In that specific invasion God moves us forward in time to the destruction of the daughter of Babylon. They shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon. (Jeremiah 50:42) Here is contemporary and future Babylon destroyed . . . the Babylon of Revelation 14:8 and 18:2. Jeremiah Chapter 50 takes in both past and future. This Babylon, the city and this system will never rise again.

● And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. (Revelation 14:8)
● And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. (Revelation 18:2)

   As we follow the word AGAINST in the 50th Chapter of Jeremiah, the word AGAINST in some verses appear twice in the same verse (1, 9, 14, 45), and in one verse it appears three times (50:21), and in one verse it is recorded four times (50:29).
God’s judgment AGAINST those who are AGAINST Him is not to be lightly regarded.
   In this 50th Chapter, the word AGAINST is first a witness (through the number two) of His intent. In the triple mention, the word AGAINST is verified by the LORD, the great I AM, the Creator Godhead. Go up against the land of Merathaim, [even] against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded thee. (Jeremiah 50:21) Again the Holy Spirit of God uses hidden messages through numbers. Where is this triple use of AGAINST found? It is found in the 21st verse. What does the number 21 signify? Through this number (21) there is the perfection of the GODHEAD in ALL of His Majestic Divinity. I again remind you to think of this number 21 as the 21-gun salute honoring heads of state and consider that on a celestial plain the number 21 honors the Highest over all, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. (You can’t make this stuff up. Can you not see the Supernatural power of God even through how many times that He employs words?) The land of Merathaim, and the  inhabitants of Pekod were destined to face the wrath of God . . . Go up against the land of Merathaim, [even] against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod. Merathaim means ‘double rebellion,’ ‘double bitterness.‘ This name Merathaim only appears once in Scripture, and it is in 50:21. Merathaim is an epithet, a nickname, or another word that characterizes Babylon, the word Merathaim is also feminine. The Holy Spirit plays on words and their meanings to open more windows for our viewing and amazement of the Supernatural Writer. Since Merathaim means ‘DOUBLE rebellion,‘ and ‘DOUBLE bitterness,‘ it is quite fitting that that Holy Spirit uses the word AGAINST twice . . . a DOUBLE AGAINST. Since Babylon and her daughter were and are TYPES of rebellion and bitterness, God is doubly angry with not only the land of their nativity, but He was also doubly angry with the city of Babylon, and He is doubly angry with the system of Babylon.
    The DOUBLE portion of judgment is brought forward in the New Testament in Revelation 18:6. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. Now tell me again how the Bible was written by mere men. Tell me again how the word of God is not Supernatural. Tell me again how Scripture is boring and lacks cohesiveness. Tell me again how Scripture lacks unity.
   Writing can be very difficult especially when one is writing about the past, and the contemporary continuation of the past that flows into the future but isn’t that what prophecy is all about . . . foundational truths throughout time and timelessness.
    Go up against the land of Merathaim, [even] against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded thee. (Jeremiah 50:21) Let us look at the word Pekod – and against the inhabitants of Pekod. Pekod means ‘punishment,’ ‘become licentious,’ and ‘to visit,‘ and it is also another symbolic name for Babylon. Through the name of Pekod the Holy Spirit of God discloses the moral condition of Babylon, that Pekod has NO MORAL controls or restraints, and therefore, He will VISIT her, and severely PUNISH her so that she will be totally wasted and destroyed . . . waste and utterly destroy after them.

    Let us move on to Jeremiah 50:29 with four (4) mentions of the word AGAINST. Call together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel. There is the DOUBLE AGAINST Babylon, and there is the DOUBLE title of the LORD and the HOLY ONE of Israel. Mankind allied with Satan cannot accept who they rail against. Satan KNOWS that there is a GOD, however, man refuses to accept his true state and position. There are many conflicts in our natural realm that began in the celestial realm, however, one of the greatest conflicts is the conflict WITHIN man. Mankind fights against himself.
   The species of man is consumed with the nature of self, to find himself, to know more about himself, and to glorify himself. It is this inherent need to become a god that has led man to become a tool in the greater conflict between Lucifer and God. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. (Genesis 3:5) When man can SEE and ACCEPT that the HOLY ONE of Israel is the LORD of Lords and King of Kings, and only when repentance restores the soul through FAITH, only THEN will man be set free from sin, self and Satan.
   The study of the word AGAINST is not only an immense undertaking but it is also an immense theme. Nevertheless, let us attempt to understand the basic theme within the word AGAINST. Of course, where else would we find the first mention of the word AGAINST but in Genesis 4:8 with Cain and Abel. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. The history of man and of Satan follows along the same lines. First there is envy and jealousy, then anger, then rebellion, then delusion, then confusion and finally envy leads to madness.    Of course, through the word AGAINST we are first introduced to the first-born man of the earth who was AGAINST God and AGAINST his brother, Abel. Through Cain’s envy, jealousy, anger, rebellion and delusional confusion he became MAD with rage and murdered his brother. Wow, what a way to introduce readers to the word AGAINST through Scripture. Although it was from within the first-born man that we read the word AGAINST, when you read the last book of the Bible, the Revelation, the 12th Chapter, the seventh verse records the word AGAINST, And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels. (This celestial battle occurred long before time and space. The battle between goodness and evil, between light and darkness, between sin and righteousness, between truth and lies, between corruption and purity became a universal WAR centered around the essence of God (God is true, John 3:33; God is Spirit, John 4:24; God is faithful, 1st Corinthians 1:9; God is light, 1st John 1:5; God is love, 1st John 4:8; God is merciful, Deuteronomy 4:31; God is mighty, Job 36:5; God is the King of all the earth; Psalm 47:7; and God is holy, Psalm 99:9. Everything that God IS, Lucifer/Satan was NOT and is NOT. There can never be a compromise, or any form of unification between GOOD and EVIL

   The Holy Spirit did not waste His time nor our time with defining the word AGAINST because He planted the definition within His word. Now, with this first look at the word AGAINST let us go to the last mention of the word AGAINST in the last book of the Old Testament, in Malachi Chapter 3, verse 13 to see how the first mention comes into play. . . yes, in verse 13 we have these words, Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken [so much] against thee?   
   From Genesis to the last book of the Old Testament, man spiritually and morally fell into the abyss of the dragon well of darkness that can be tasted and felt. How could man fall further than murder? How could man become more depraved than when he first murdered? The first murder was AGAINST a brother, however, throughout the long history of man (and Israel in the Old Testament) man came full circle from the murder AGAINST a brother to the attempted murder AGAINST His Creator. NO, Mary, you have it wrong, man murdered his Creator God in the New Testament when they crucified Christ on the cross of Calvary! I have it right . . . that man attempted to murder His Creator before the crucifixion because mankind and the Jews of Israel had MURDERED the word of God, and they had MURDERED the truth of God.
   The Jews had be given the oracles of God, Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. (Romans 3:2) No other nation had been blessed by God to receive His statutes and His righteous judgments. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? (Deuteronomy 4:7) And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? (Deuteronomy 4:8) In the New Testament, in Romans 2:18 and 9:4, it is documented that the Israelites were given more than any other nation had ever received. They had been given the precious charge to honor and to keep the word of God. They had been given the responsibility to proclaim to the world the word of God. They failed to honor, they failed to keep, and they failed to proclaim and publish to the world the things of God but felt that in their position as keepers of the oracles of God they had to KEEP the truth of God in the word of God to themselves and for themselves alone. And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law. (Romans 2:18) Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises. (Romans 9:4)
   They (Israel) had been given the Tabernacle, and the Temple in Jerusalem, and the authority of The Law of Moses, and the charge and responsibilities of the priesthood; yet, in all their responsibilities they FAILED. They failed to understand the difference between SEPARATION from the world and the APPROVAL of the world. They were to remain a nation SEPARATE from the world. They were to remain a holy priesthood SEPARATE from the world, and in their SEPARATION His glory would be declared among the Gentiles. (Isaiah 66:19) It would be through SEPARATION that the Gentile nations would see the GLORY of God honored and praised within His people. As Israel FAILED, so also did the Church FAIL. The corrupt priesthood of the Jews defiled the holy things of God by bringing in Ammonites and Moabites into the house of God. (Nehemiah 13:7, 8) This defilement occurred many times and in many different manners. The corrupt priesthood of the early Church defiled the holy things of God by bringing in the doctrines and deeds of the Nicolaitans into the house of God. (Revelation 2:6, 15) For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (Jude 1:4)
   When the demoralization and corruption of the Jewish priestly order was at its lowest point at the end of the Old Testament, the book of Malachi disclosed not only the corruption of the entire system of priesthood, but spiritually and morally the people were also just like their priests. Through the words of Hosea 4:9 and Jeremiah 5:31, we can understand how our current Church corruption developed. And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings. (Hosea 4:9) The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof? (Jeremiah 5:31)
   As the first documentation of the word AGAINST recorded the murderous act of Cain against his brother, the last documentation of the word AGAINST in Malachi records how far the Jews and the Jewish priesthood had come. First it was brother against brother (man against man) and in Malachi 3:13 it became man against God. Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD.Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? (Malachi 3:13)

Side Note: Stout. This word appears only four (4) times in the Bible, and all are in the Old Testament, Job 4:11; Isaiah 10:12; Daniel 7:20 and Malachi 3:13. Stout has been used to describe courageous and brave individuals; however, in each Bible reference, it is NOT courage or bravery that is the issue. Since four is the Earth number, that should lead you to the other meanings that describe the world and the people of the earth: firm, determined, obstinate, forceful, uncompromising and violent. That is how the Holy Spirit describes those in the age of Malachi who were AGAINST God and opposed His word. They were then as the people of our contemporary age are NOW. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? Arrogantly opposing God while at the same time claiming to be more righteous than God by saying, How have we spoken against God? That is one thing that many refuse to see, the lying arrogance of wicked religionists, depraved politicians and fake journalists. Every minute of every day we are bombarded with the arrogance of liars. They are forcefully obstinate in their pretentiousness even to the point of threatening violence to anyone who dears to speak truth, for they are the only ones who are allowed to have an opinion. They are the only ones who are allowed to have a voice. As they speak about you with disgust, so they speak about God in the same manner. Against in the New Testament

   Since the first man born on this planet murdered his brother, murder has been on the heart and on the mind of every hater of God. Murder has become a part of man’s natural order; therefore, to MURDER the words and truth of God flows easily from their lips.
  The following references disclose the connection between those who were AGAINST God in the Old Testament and those who battle AGAINST God in our current age of confusion and madness.

● And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness. (Hosea 6:9)
● Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. (Jeremiah 7:8) Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; (Jeremiah 7:9) And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? (Jeremiah 7:10) Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD. (Jeremiah 7:11)
● For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house. (Ezekiel 23:39)

   Comparing the murderous hearts of those in the Old Testament with those in the New Testament witnesses to the understanding that man is a stranger to change; therefore, as we follow the word AGAINST in the New Testament it becomes obvious that man’s sin nature is founded on his being AGAINST everything that speaks of God and of God’s goodness. The word AGAINST is documented in approximately 210 verses in the New Testament, but to shorten our study, let us concentrate on the basics of the first mention in Matthew 4:6 and the last mention in Revelation 19:19.
First mention: And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in [their] hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Matthew 4:6)
Last mention: And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. (Revelation 19:19)
   As we venture into the word AGAINST in the New Testament always keep in mind that the Holy Spirit of God is the Master Wordsmith and delights in the woof and warp of words foundationally tying together the truth of God’s word.
   The first time that we read the word AGAINST in the New Testament is in the book of Matthew in the fourth Chapter. Four being the Earth number, and the book of Matthew is the book of the King.

Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, (Matthew 4:5) And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Matthew 4:6) Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. (Matthew 4:7)

   Twice the temptation of the Lord Jesus is recorded in the New Testament, once in the book of Matthew and once in the book of Luke, and both are found in the 4th Chapter.

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: (Luke 4:9) For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: (Luke 4:10) And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Luke 4:11) And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. (Luke 4:12)

   This may seem an insignificant detail . . . lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone, but there is no such thing as trivial or insignificance in Scripture. But let us go to the main attack by Satan AGAINST the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew and in Luke. The primary attack AGAINST Christ was His identity. If thou be the Son of God . . . If thou be the Son of God. IF . . . IF, not the word ‘Since’ but IF. Satan KNEW exactly who this was, but he could not and would not allow himself to verbally recognize the Lord Jesus Christ as the LORD GOD. This has been the attack AGAINST Christ from the very beginning of the time space continuum of time and timelessness. Twice the Lord Jesus reminded Satan, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God . . . Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Satan deliberately set up to question who Christ was, and Christ replied by stating that He was the Lord THY God.
   By stating that the angels would bear Him up lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone was simply uttered to remove deity, divinity and Godhead from Christ and to place Christ as a mere man. This has been the same means that Satan has used from the beginning, and man has willingly fallen into believing that Christ was not God, but a man like other men that He could stumble, that He could lose His sure footing (His earthly purpose) , that He could not see His path clearly (the cross before Him), that He could sin or that He could injure Himself by a stone of His own creation. What foolery!

   This is how mankind has mocked God, they take the purple from Him by their words that Christ is NOT GOD, that He was merely a man, a descendant of Adam; this is taking the purple from him. This battle of taking the purple from him began at the beginning of the Church Age. Church councils argued over these issues: was Christ God AND man, or was Christ God OR man, or was Christ THE GodMan. We, Christians and non-Christians, are told to never delve into this mystery of the Godhead. We are told that Christ had both a human nature and a divine nature separate yet united. However, Scripture clearly teaches that Christ DID NOT HAVE A HUMAN NATURE. There was nothing HUMAN about Christ. There was a Body prepared for Him, a Body that could experience pain and suffering, a Body that could empathize with His creatures, a Body that could feel hunger, that could know tiredness, and a Body that could suffer death. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me. (Hebrews 10:5) His Body was a SINLESS Supernatural Body specifically capable of bearing sin on the cross.

• And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.(Genesis 1:26)
• This [is] the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; (Genesis 5:1)
• And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat [a son] in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: (Genesis 5:31)

   Christ was MADE in the LIKENESS of human flesh. Here again The Law of First Mention comes into play. Follow the words in the likeness and see where it leads us. The first mention of in the likeness is in Genesis 5:1, This [is] the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him. This verse says that man (Adam) was made in the likeness of God. It does NOT say that because Adam was created in the likeness of God Adam was then ‘like God,’ or even that Adam became God. No Adam was not as God, nor like God, nor God; Adam was made in the likeness of God. Adam, mankind, was/is created a separate entity of a material tangible character and nature. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:26) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:27)
   God SENT His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh . . . For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: (Romans 8:3) Being made in the likeness of God did not make Adam God, so too Christ being in the likeness of sinful flesh did not make Christ Adam (man). Christ did not come into the world by the carnal commandment given to Adam and Eve to go forth and to multiple. Hebrews 7:6, But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. (Philippians 2:7) Christ was always separate FROM mankind in sin because there was no sin IN Him. The refusal to accept Christ as GOD, taking the purple from him is not understanding that GOD IS A SUPERNATURAL ENTITY, that HE IS SPIRIT, He is beyond our level of comprehension, and that is why HE WROTE A BOOK, but this book was not just any book, but it was a book of the Supernatural, written by the Supernatural and kept by the Supernatural. As man has rejected this Supernatural book, so also, they have rejected its Author and its central character, the Lord Jesus Christ.
   Let us look at the first mention of the word AGAINST in the New Testament as not just the continuation of the attack of man against man, but the continuation of the attack of Lucifer against the Godhead bodily in the realm of timelessness. This attack against the Lord Jesus Christ also records and describes another profound jewel of truth hidden by the Master Wordsmith . . . against a stone. This attack was to deny the Lord’s true position as God . . . His GODHEAD. This attack was to wound the unwoundable. This attack was to move the unmovable to act against the word of God. This attack was to observe if the OBEDIENT ONE would disobey in order to prove His immutability. This attack was AGAINST the TRUE STONE
   Hold on, don’t click away, for those of us who are enthralled by how the Holy Spirit ties words and numbers together to reveal spiritual certainties the last mention of the word AGAINST is, of course, found in Revelation 19:19.
Last mention: And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. (Revelation 19:19)
   The Almighty Creator God (Jesus Christ) the ONE God not only determines the beginning of all things, but He also determines the end of all things (9). He is the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last. In the number sequence of 19:19 we have a double witness of God through the number 1. But we also have a prophetic witness in the double sequence of 1:19. STAY WITH ME, wakey, wakey.
   Twice, God the Holy Spirit, uses the numbers 1 and 9 together as a combination of GOD and FINALITY together. Why? Because this is NOT the last battle between the Lord Jesus Christ (THE WORD) and Satan. But it is the last battle BEFORE the millennial reign of Christ on earth. Remember that AFTER a THOUSAND years have passed that Satan is imprisoned by God, that he is allowed to once more gather together the nations to fight against God, and thus, we have the hidden message within the second 19. The double 19 (19:19) stands out as the first battle before the millennial reign of Christ, and the second and LAST battle AFTER the millennial reign of Christ. Did I lose you? Okey dokey, here is another bit of Supernatural wordsmithery. The word AGAINST also just happens to be mentioned NINE (9) times in the last book of the Bible. Revelation 2:4, 14, 16, 20; 12:7, 13:6, 18:19. God is assuring us that the conflict between God and man and Satan will cease, it will end, it will be NO MORE.
   How many times do I have to write an explanation? First of all, the Holy Spirit of God KNEW how His word would travel through times and go from parchment to printing press to digital. He KNEW that His word would be given a numerical structure much like we understand today through law documents. Every line in a court document is numbered. This is to ensure exactness in understanding. Everyone can be on the same line with the same understanding. Yes, spiritual numbering is part of God’s message. AND yes, the Spirit of God KNEW that His word would become similar to how man employs a legal document through line numbering. His words are not only prophetically used, but the Holy Spirit of God KNOWS the FUTURE because He created time for man. He not only controls the words within the word of God, but He also controlled how His word would become as a legal document so that readers could communicate and transmit His word without corruption in understanding, and numbering is an important part how we are able to maintain purity in understanding. His word (the Bible) is not only AS a legal document, but it is ALSO a legal document . . . consider the book of Romans.
   Now back to the last mention of the word AGAINST. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. (Revelation 19:19)

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (Revelation 19:20)
And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. (Revelation 19:21)

   This battle, the last battle before the millennial reign of Christ, reveals what happens to the man called The Beast and the person who is called the false prophet. It is NOT their end, for they are both cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone, where they are deservedly tormented day and night for ever and ever. Time does not end for them, but time for them becomes eternal. And yet, we can also correctly write that they both have come to their end, their finality is realized.
   It is through the last battle of Revelation Chapter 20, verse 10 that God the Holy Spirit discloses the destiny of Satan. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Many times, Christians and non-Christians confuse the timeline of battles. Since there are many battles within a war, it then becomes essential to have a clear picture of each battle and the warriors within each battle.
   If you read the entire 50th Chapter of Jeremiah, then you are probably, like me, emotionally stressed by the depth of hatred and animosity the world has AGAINST God AND His Christ. AND add to this Chapter our current situation of OUR world AGAINST God AND His Christ. In this time span you can probably see the spiritual connection of Babylon and the daughter of Babylon. Every day we are made aware of how the daughter of Babylon has taken over OUR world of education, politics, and communications through mind control and spiritual confusion, thus, even the Christian sometimes needs to step back to re-evaluate where they are, and where they have come from and where they are going spiritually. Sometimes, we become buried with too many AGAINSTS because we live EVERYDAY and EVERY HOUR among those who are AGAINST. In one way it is good and proper to be always aware of the AGAINSTS, but it is also good and proper to always be aware of WHO fights for us AGAINST all the AGAINSTS. God is FOR us. God is FOR Israel. God is FOR HIS born-again ones. If God be for us, who can be against us?

● Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not. (Numbers 14:9)
● Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you. (Zechariah 8:23)

● What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
● Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (Romans 8:35)
● Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Romans 8:37) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, (Romans 8:38) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. —– The ABSENCE of the word AGAINST —–
The Song of Songs

   As the Holy Spirit uses the positive and the negative side of numbers to broaden our understanding of spiritual issues, He also uses the same teaching method of the positive and negative concept to expand and augment the Scripture miner or the searcher within us to see more and more about His Perfect Word through His perfect word.
   Christians should develop better mining skills. Working sometimes in the darkness of the UNSEEN and the UNKNOWN of the word of God, we should prayerfully ask God the Holy Spirit for His guidance on the place and the depth where His jewels and treasures are buried. Now for some interesting, unearthed facts. Are there any books in the Old Testament that do not have the word AGAINST? The word AGAINST is NOT found in TWO books in the Old Testament: the Song of Songs, (the Song of Solomon), and the book of Haggai. WHY these two books?
   We are not yet finished with the word AGAINST. After briefly examining the word AGAINST in Jeremiah Chapter 50, we saw two sides of the word AGAINST: the negative side where Babylon and the daughter of Babylon were both AGAINST Israel and the world, and the positive side where God used the sword to fight AGAINST His adversaries. Yes, that is a positive action. In fact, through the word sword we have the positive action against a negative force. Note this: the word sword is mentioned in four verses (the earth number) for a total of six times (the number of sinful man.) There it is again, the numbers four and six together. God continues to pound and pound into His word that there is NONE good, NONE righteous, no, not one. They are all gone aside, they are [all] together become filthy: [there is] none that doeth good, no, not one. (Psalm 14:3) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (Romans 3:10)

1. Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land. (Jeremiah 50:16)
2. A sword [is] upon the Chaldeans, saith the LORD, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise [men]. (Jeremiah 50:35)
3. A sword [is] upon the liars; and they shall dote: a sword [is] upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed. (Jeremiah 50:36)
4. A sword [is] upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that [are] in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword [is] upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed. (Jeremiah 50:37)

   The Song of Song expressed the relationship between God and His people, Israel, not as a coronation scene, but as a formal marriage ceremony uniting forever and SEALING the everlasting covenant of God to Abraham and to his seed forever. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. (Genesis 17:7)
   Much has already been written about the Song of Songs in other articles, but let us remain focused on why the word AGAINST is not recorded in the Song of Songs. CLICK HERE for more about the Song of Loves.

   Although there are many powerful and profound themes that flow throughout the eight Chapters of the book of LOVES, why did the Holy Spirit deliberately NOT include God’s adversaries, God’s enemies, the battle between good and evil, and the conflict of Babylon and the daughter of Babylon? The Song of Songs is about the TRUE and ONLY KING. The Song of Songs is about victory. The Song of Songs is about the UNSEEN prophetic future of Israel being in Abraham’s bosom. The Song of Songs is a LOVE song from the heart of THE ONE and ONLY KING to His love, His sister, His spouse. The writer, king Solomon, was able to express the LOVE OF GOD for His spouse, His wife (Israel) through words, and images that earthly man could comprehend only because the Holy Spirit of God breathed on him THE HEART OF GOD.

● Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: (Jeremiah 3:14)
● Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: (Jeremiah 31:32)
● And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. (Hosea 2:19)
● I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD. (Hosea 2:20)

   The words, my love, are recorded twelve times in the Song of Songs, thus tying the twelve tribes of Israel to God their Creator, their Maker and their husband, the Holy One of Israel.

For thy Maker [is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. (Isaiah 54:5) For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. (Isaiah 54:6) For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. (Isaiah 54:7) In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer. (Isaiah 54:8)

   The word AGAINST is NOT mentioned in the Song of Songs because God is NOT AGAINST the apple of His eye, Israel. The word AGAINST is NOT documented in the Song of Songs because in these love scenes between THE ROYAL KING and His betrothed bride she expresses her love for Him because she no longer is AGAINST Him, but she rests in His covenanted strong arms of protective love and is forever SEALED by His redeeming blood of LOVES. Song of Songs is NOT about a battle scene, it is prophetic, it is about the UNSEEN Holy One of Israel united together as ONE with His dove, “my love, my fair one, my dove, my undefiled.” This love story is seen spiritually through a love given, a love rejected and lost, a love searched for, a love found, and a love conquered. Looking through a glass darkly, the Song of Songs is a history of Israel’s relationship with her Creator God, and the culmination of her tumultuous kinship with her King. AND we have only merely broken through into the first level of the mine of gold and silver within the Song of Songs. There is no end to the depth of this gold and silver mine of God’s love. We have only explored the first layer, or chapter of His love titled the Song of Songs, there is much more buried in His written word (the Bible) and in His Living Word, the Lord Jesus Christ. I suggest that you invest in a larger shovel.

—– The ABSENCE of the word AGAINST —–
The Book of Haggai and the man Zerubbabel

   Through the book of Song of Songs, the Spirit of God is leading us from the ROYAL HEAVENLY DIVINE KING to another book that does not mention the word AGAINST because in the book of Haggai there is an earthly king exiled and rejected by the world. Although this king was known by his exiled people as being the rightful king of Israel, he could only be recognized as a governor and NOT as king. The following paragraph is from a previous article about Zerubbabel.

   There are 21 verses in the Old Testament that mentions the man Zerubbabel. There is the number 21 again. Interesting, do you see the word ‘babel’ at the end of this name? Curious? Well, the line from the often misquoted famous movie scene from the movie ‘All About Eve’ is NOT, “Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride,” but it is “Fasten your seatbelts. It’s going to be a bumpy night.” Both lines, although similar in thought are different in application, that is how we should examine the name and the man in the Old Testament called Zerubbabel, and the same man in the New Testament called Zorobabel . . . the same but different in application.
   In the New Testament he is mentioned twice through the Greek meaning of the name Zerubbabel. I know, I just cannot ignore the numbers: 21 in the Old Testament because the number 21 signifies the PERFECTION of the GODHEAD in ALL His Majestic Divinity. Think of this number 21 as the 21-gun salute honoring heads of state and consider that on a celestial plain the number 21 honors the Highest over all, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Also 3 (the number of the GODHEAD in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit) measured by His Divine Perfection (the number 7) gives us the result of the number 21 . . . Add 2 + 1 and you have 3. There is no end to basic baby spiritual math. Back to Zerubbabel and Zorobabel . . . .
    The first mention of Zerubbabel in 1st Chronicles 3:19 discloses his direct connection from king David; thus, setting Zerubbabel’s right to be the king of Judah and Israel. Then through the books of Ezra and Nehemiah, Zerubbabel is seen at the ruins of the Temple in Jerusalem helping to rebuild the new Temple working side by side with the high priest called Joshua. Through the prophet of Haggai, God’s message was directed to Zerubbabel. Seven times the name of Zerubbabel is mentioned in the book of Haggai. (‘my feasts’). (Haggai 1:1, 12, 14; 2;2, 4, 21, 23) Seven is the symbolic number of the Sovereign Godhead in all of His perfection. Through these numbers, the Holy Spirit of God discloses that although Zerubbabel was the rightful king of Israel through the Law of Inheritance, spiritually, he also symbolized the world’s rejection of the TRUE SOVEREIGN of the world, and the King of the world. Although probably most captive Jews knew of Zerubbabel’s kingly right, nevertheless he could only be accepted and recognized as governor and NOT as king. Haggai presents Zerubbabel as the prophetic rejected exiled God and King of Israel, being of course, the Lord Jesus Christ in His rejection by His own people while they were captured by Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar and later under Darius, the Mede.
   Compare the Lord’s rejection during the ages of Babylon and the daughter of Babylon with the rejection of Zerubbabel during the captivity of the Jews under Babylon (Nebuchadnezzar) and the daughter of Babylon during the Medes-Persian era and later under Roman domination and continuing into our contemporary age STILL UNDER the rule of the UNSEEN Roman Empire renamed and known as the EU Empire. Names of Empires may change, names of leaders change, but in reality, NOTHING CHANGES. Babylon and the daughter of Babylon is the scriptural evidence of this fact that in the world of the UNGODLY NOTHING CHANGES.
   So, why is the word AGAINST NOT mentioned in the book of Haggai as it relates to the exiled (unknown and rejected king) Zerubbabel? Simply (or not so simply) because the world showed its disdain through REJECTION and DENIAL. The word AGAINST did not need to be documented in Haggai because it is assumed that everything was and is AGAINST God, AGAINST His word, and AGAINST His prophets because of the depth of corruption that had infiltrated into Israel and Judah through a corrupt priesthood, thus, polluting the nation.
   God’s progressive revelation discloses that the word AGAINST first began in violence and murder. As the battle progressed, AGAINST beget more AGAINST, more violence and more murder AGAINST GOD and AGAINST MAN. Always remember that God uses both the SEEN and the UNSEEN realms side by side. As the world progressively acted AGAINST God in the SEEN and in the UNSEEN, God also progressively acts in the SEEN and in the UNSEEN. Therefore, in the book of Song of Songs God allows us to see the victorious end result first; then in the book of Haggai we see through the double door of the portal of the UNSEEN AGAINST that although REJECTED, God’s Christ, God’s TRUE KING, is SEEN as Governor and Ruler. He is there in the UNSEEN, building His Temple. God is there through the spiritually SEEN man Zerubbabel building side by side with the Jewish priests the physical Temple in Jerusalem.
  Let us consider the seven mentions of Zerubbabel in the book of Haggai.

1. In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying, (Haggai 1:1)
2. Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD. (Haggai 1:2)
3. And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God, (Haggai 1:4)
4. Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying, (Haggai 2:2)
5. Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I [am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts: (Haggai 2:4)
6. Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth; (Haggai 2:21)
7. In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts. (Haggai 2:23)

Side Note: Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel. Eight times the connection to Zerubbabel and his father Shealtiel is recorded: Ezra 3:2, 8, 5:2; Nehemiah 12:1, Haggai 1:1, 12, 14, 2:2. Why? Zerubbabel’s father’s name means, “I have asked of God,” or “Asked of God.” Why was it important to the Holy Spirit that the lineage of Zerubbabel HAD to be enforced so strongly in the Old Testament. Since genealogy is extremely important in any inheritance issue, it is more so when the inheritance of kingship is involved. All family roots and branches from those roots had to be strongly written to follow the tribal line from Judah, through David, and to the ONE who was and IS the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Root and offspring of David.
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. (Revelation 5:5)
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star. (Revelation 22:16)
From king Josiah, the line of Judah and David continued through Salathiel (Shealtiel) to Zerubbabel.
And the sons of Josiah were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum. (1st Chronicles 3:15)
And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son. (1st Chronicles 3:16)
And the sons of Jeconiah; Assir, Salathiel his son, (1st Chronicles 3:17)
Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah. (1st Chronicles 3:18)
And the sons of Pedaiah were, Zerubbabel, and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister: (1st Chronicles 3:19)
  In the first Chapter of the book of Matthew, the genealogy of the Lord Jesus Christ HAD to confirm HIS earthly right to the throne of Israel. (Remember that the Bible is not only the word of God, but it is also contains the written elements in God’s Department of Justice. Whenever God the Holy Spirit presents a truth, He ALWAYS documents that truth or backs that truth up with documentation worthy of a righteous Court.)
And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon: (Matthew 1:11) And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel; (Matthew 1:12)
   Through Matthew 1:11 and 12 we are also given more information about Zerubbabel and the time frame of his birth. He was born IN Babylon; he was not carried to Babylon in the captivity. Zerubbabel was the second generation in his line who was Babylonian born which adds to the meaning of his name, ‘Sown in Babylon,’ and ‘melted by Babylon.’  Born into citizenship of Confusion (Babylon), yet under the yoke of Babylon (Confusion). ◆ End of Side Note: Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel

—– Zerubbabel, A Signet—–

   Through the seventh mention of the name Zerubbabel there is another connection to the Lord Jesus Christ. In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts. (Haggai 2:23) The connection is in the word signet. From this word we also see the word SIGN. A signet was usually a ring of authority. It was a SEAL: A signet SEAL of authoritative approval. God used Zerubbabel as a servant and as a SIGN and a SIGNET FOR Israel and FOR a specific purpose. God was FOR Israel THEN during their seventy years of captivity under Babylon and under the Medes-Persians. God’s Supernatural dealings with Israel since their cry, His blood [be] on us, and on our children. (Matthew 27:25) has never ceased. As God was for Israel since He formed that nation, His covenant and promises FOR her has never failed. The following verses have been selectively cherry picked to disclose God WAS and IS FOR Israel as He WAS and HIS FOR His born-again ones. He has always been WITH and FOR Israel.

● What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded (Romans 11:7) (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. (Romans 11:8)
● I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. (Romans 11:11)
● For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? (Romans 11:15) For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. (Romans 11:16) And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; (Romans 11:17) Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. (Romans 11:18) Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. (Romans 11:19) Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: (Romans 11:20) For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. (Romans 11:21) Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. (Romans 11:22) And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. (Romans 11:23)
● For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. (Romans 11:25) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: (Romans 11:26) For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. (Romans 11:27)

   Although the world is AGAINST God and AGAINST Israel AND AGAINST Christians, NEVER become distracted by their AGAINSTNESS because we have ONE who is greater than all of Babylon and the daughter of Babylon. We have ONE who is not only WITH US, but He is also FOR US.
   Consider that Christ died FOR us. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
   Consider that the Holy Spirit makes intercession FOR us. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (Romans 8:26)
   Consider that Christ gave Himself and offered His soul as an offering FOR us.

● And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. (Ephesians 5:2)
● Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (Titus 2:14)
● Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us]. (Hebrews 9:12)
● For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: (Hebrews 9:24)
● Hereby perceive we the love [of God], because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down [our] lives for the brethren. (1st John 3:16)

    Consider that since God is FOR us, who can be AGAINST is?

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:32)
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. (Romans 8:33)
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (Romans 8:34)
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (Romans 8:35)
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. (Romans 8:36)
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Romans 8:37)
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, (Romans 8:38)
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:39)

   So sorry, but I am not yet free to end this article. It cannot close yet because through God’s servant and God’s sign and signet Zerubbabel was and IS God’s Supernatural evidence being FOR Israel and FOR us who are born again ones. The word signet is mentioned in ten verses (God’s perfect order) and only found in the Old Testament. Why is the word signet important to the man Zerubbabel, the governor and ruler of Judah during the last seventy years of the captivity of the nation of Judah to the land of Babylon? The last mention of signet is the key in understanding Zerubbabel’s place and standing in God’s perfect order of His redemptive prophetic plan.

1. And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that [is] in thine hand. And he gave [it] her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him. (Genesis 38:18)
2. When she [was] brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these [are, am] I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose [are] these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff. (Genesis 38:25)
3. With the work of an engraver in stone, [like] the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be set in ouches of gold. (Exodus 28:11)
4. And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, [like] the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes. (Exodus 28:21)
5. And thou shalt make a plate [of] pure gold, and grave upon it, [like] the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD. (Exodus 28:36)
6. And the stones [were] according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, [like] the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes. (Exodus 39:14)
7. And they made the plate of the holy crown [of] pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, [like to] the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD. (Exodus 39:30)
8. [As] I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence; (Jeremiah 22:24)
9. And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. (Daniel 6:17)
10. In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts. (Haggai 2:23)

  The first and second mention of signet was Judah’s signet. CLICK HERE for more information.

1. And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that [is] in thine hand. And he gave [it] her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him. (Genesis 38:18)
2. When she [was] brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these [are, am] I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose [are] these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff. (Genesis 38:25)

   God the Holy Spirit is not only a God of order and revelation, but He also values and appreciates progressive revelation. It is not only progressive revelation but selective revelation that brings His theme to a correct conclusion. His concern was not how many rulers wore a signet, but who had the prophetic right to wear a signet. The beginning of signet reveals that the kings of Israel were solely from the tribe of Judah. The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Genesis 49:10) Judah sets the connection to Kingship.

   The next five mentions are found in the book of Exodus. These signets were not finger rings but were connected solely to the high priest as he bore the responsibility and care of the twelve tribes of Israel.
   The third mention of signet is in Exodus 28:11. Wearing two signets on his shoulders he symbolized how the Lord Jesus Christ, the Supernatural high priest of God, Melchisedec, would carry the weight of the government of God upon His shoulders. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6) On each shoulder signets were also the names of the twelve tribes engraved.

   The fourth mention of signet in Exodus 28:21 deals with twelve engraved signets on the two signets on the shoulders of the high priest, twelve, according to their names, [like] the engravings of a signet.

4. And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, [like] the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes. (Exodus 28:21)

   The fifth mention is an engraving on a PLATE of pure God that Aaron, the first high priest of Israel, wore on his forehead.

5. And thou shalt make a plate [of] pure gold, and grave upon it, [like] the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD. (Exodus 28:36) And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be. (Exodus 28:37) And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD. (Exodus 28:38)

   Wearing this golden engraved plate on his forehead, Aaron become a living illustration of who the Lord Jesus the Christ is and would be. He is the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily. The pure gold symbolized the righteousness of God in all holiness. Here is the progressive revelation of God in the simplest form of illustration borne by an earthly man in the role of high priest. At the top of his body there was a golden plate of pureness. Cut into this pure golden plate were the words: HOLINESS TO THE LORD. Compare Aaron’s role and responsibility with the Messiah’s role and responsibility in that HE WAS THE EXPRESS IMAGE OF HIS PERSON, HE WAS THE IMAGE OF GOD, HE IS THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD, HE IS THE CREATOR GOD.

● Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Hebrews 1:2) Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Hebrews 1:3)
● In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2nd Corinthians 4:4)
● Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: (Philippians 2:6)
● Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: (Colossians 1:15) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Colossians 1:16) And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (Colossians 1:17) And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:18)

   In the 6th mention of signet and after the signet on Aaron’s forehead, the Holy Spirit of God moves from the revelation of GODHEAD to the heart of God through the breastplate that covered Aaron’s heart and his body.

6. And the stones [were] according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, [like] the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes. (Exodus 39:14) These twelve stones made up the breastplate of the high priest symbolizing the love that He bore for His people, Israel. As the breastplate covered the heart of the earthly high priest of God, so also the breastplate of His Supernatural high priest Melchisedec wears His love for those in the Song of Songs, the Song of love, that He called, “my love, my fair one, my dove, my undefiled.”

   From a signet on each one of the shoulders of the high priest, to six engraved signets on each of the two signets on the shoulders of the high priest, to the golden plate on Aaron’s forehead, to the breastplate of the high priest, the Holy Spirit of God (through the last mention concerning priesthood) brings in the HOLY CROWN. Now I would definitely call that divine progressive revelation. This totally describes the Supernatural Melchisedec. This completely describes, the Supernatural priesthood of the Lord Jesus Christ, for Christ was and is Melchisedec.
   Through the 7th SEVENTH documentation of the word signet the Holy Spirit of God gives us A HOLY CROWN OF PURE GOLD. (Coincidental?) There are no coincidences in the Bible!

7. And they made the plate of the holy crown [of] pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, [like to] the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD. (Exodus 39:30)

   In this 7th mention of signet we have ALMOST come full circle from Judah’s signet ring representing earthly kingship and heavenly KINGSHIP to the DIVINE CROWN of Sovereignty over ALL of creation. The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Genesis 49:10)

   Just in case you have ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) allow me to remind you why we are here at the Sovereignly of God via the word signet, via Zerubbabel and the last verse in the book of Haggai. (I understand why some readers may get headaches . . . I get headaches sometimes too as I write, I can only imagine why some of you also get aches just reading. Sometimes the word of God is similar to being guided by a professional tracker. When traveling far from the starting point, sometimes I can’t remember where I began, nor why I began. Oh well, God made aspirins and hot Ovaltine for a reason.)

8. [As] I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence; (Jeremiah 22:24)

   Let us continue onward now to the 8th mention of the word signet. However, this time it does not refer to the divine PRIESTHOOD. The 8th and 9th documentation of the word signet stands out from all the previous mentions and from the 10th mention. 
   Don’t’ be frightened . . . I will NOT go into the entire history and background of Coniah and Jehoiakim although I am intrigued by the many twists and turns of Babylonian politics because it speaks to me of the last fifty years of the political twists and turns of politics in America. Primarily what transpired in Judah during the years before, during and after Babylon conquered Judah and Jerusalem was what most Americans and other nations can understand . . . LIES, MANIPULATION, TREASON and CONSPIRACY to keep the citizen-slaves in a state of unawareness of reality. Babylon enslaved the last king of Judah, murdered all of his direct line in the sight of Zedekiah and then took out his eyes and led him in chains to Babylon. Then as most conquerors have done, another ruler was placed on the throne of so-called power, a subservient person, a puppet was selected to rule who would serve the conqueror. The United States has had a number of puppets who pretended to be a true President. (Who controls the Ukraine? among other nations.) This new ruler was given a FALSE identity (background) and sometimes a FAKE name in order to appease any who would oppose the ‘legality’ of his authority. Does this sound familiar? Here is where there are twists and turns in Judah’s new ‘regent and proxy’ king of Judah. (For the brave only: read 2nd Kings Chapter 23, and Chapter 24, 1st Chronicles Chapter 3 and Jeremiah Chapters 36 and 37.)
   The Sovereign of the universe spoke in Jeremiah 22:24 the words of condemnation to a ruler who was NOT the man of HIS choosing. This was a triple witness 2 – 2 – 2 against the world (number 4) and its chosen king. Man will plot, plan, enslave and murder for POWER in order to rule over other men without ever considering that there is a GOD who is ALL powerful and SOVEREIGN over ALL of His creation. Through this 8th mention of signet it is GOD who has the signet, THE AUTHORITY, to build or to pluck out. Whether it is a counterfeit priesthood or a counterfeit kingship NO one can wear the SIGNET of God.

9. And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. (Daniel 6:17)

   In the 9th documentation of the word signet, we have the word signet mentioned twice because it signifies a double witness to the treacherous conspiracy of evil men against the servants of God. Darius used his signet reluctantly to seal Daniel in the den of wild lions, however, the lords, the men of renown, the elites of society who were the conspiracy instigators had a purpose much like the purpose of the men of renown of our age, the purpose is the power of position. Consider the multi-millionaires and billionaires in the Congress of the United States, consider the merchandising that is no longer transacted in dark recesses but are now openly conducted in lighted chambers. They no longer fear disclosure since the agencies of exposure has become one with the conspirators of power and position. Can you not see these men and women salivating over their riches and powers? There is nothing that they are not willing to sell for more power of position. IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN POWER AND POSITION OVER THIS NATION, THE LORDS AND MEN AND WOMEN OF RENOWN OF OUR TIME AND AGE CONSIDER THE KILLING OF A LEGALLY ELLECTED PRESIDENT NOTHING BUT ANOTHER WAY TO ADVANCE FUTHER UP INTO THE RANKS OF THE MARXIST/DEMOCRAT/UNIPARTY. (Many erroneously refer to President Trump as the Former President, HE IS THE CURRENT PRESIDENT (although rejected by the powers of global corporate empires and exiled), the person acting as President (Biden) is a thief, a robber, and a traitor). (When a thief enters a home what has he come for? The tenth verse part 1 of the tenth Chapter of the gospel of John informs us that stealing is not the main objective of a thief, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.) He has come not only to rob, but to assassinate by proxy OR assassination by a den of lions is still MURDER. Yea, the power of position is unlimited when even a coup against an elected President knows no limits. How eagerly ALL news agencies attended a rally that they had NEVER previously attended in order to record a pre-planned assassination. Coincidence? Yea, the power of position has taken over the minds and souls of a nation. Why just souls and minds? Because these men and women of renown sold their hearts when they chose power of position. Much as the first rebellion in the universe when Lucifer sold power and position to angels who followed after the merchandising political genius of Lucifer. For those who have become overly burdened by the political system of our nation . . . remember this . . . God will not be mocked . . . Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7)

9. And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. (Daniel 6:17)

   Although this was a den of ‘the king of beasts,’ the GREATER KING, known as the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, had the power of the seven seals in the book of the Revelation Chapter 5, verse 5 AND had the power to not only overcome the natural instinct of ‘the king of beasts’ the lion, but He had and has the power to also overcome the natural instinct of the killers known as man. Add to this that it will be the power of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords who will overcome The Beast.
   I could ask readers to just read the 6th Chapter of the book of Daniel on their own and in their own time, but I do so enjoy reading this Chapter that I think I will just add this Chapter to this article.

It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom; (Daniel 6:1)
And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage. (Daniel 6:2)
Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. (Daniel 6:3)
Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. (Daniel 6:4)
Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God. (Daniel 6:5)
Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever. (Daniel 6:6)
All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions. (Daniel 6:7)
Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. (Daniel 6:8)
Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree. (Daniel 6:9)
Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. (Daniel 6:10)
Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. (Daniel 6:11)
Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. (Daniel 6:12)
Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day. (Daniel 6:13)
Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him. (Daniel 6:14)
Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed. (Daniel 6:15)
Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee. (Daniel 6:16)
And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. (Daniel 6:17)
Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him. (Daniel 6:18)
Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions. (Daniel 6:19)
And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? (Daniel 6:20)
Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. (Daniel 6:21)
My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. (Daniel 6:22)
Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God. (Daniel 6:23)
And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den. (Daniel 6:24)
Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. (Daniel 6:25)
I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end. (Daniel 6:26)
He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. (Daniel 6:27)
So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian. (Daniel 6:28)

    Here we have now come full circle from the first mention of signet in Genesis through the tribe of Judah to another member of the tribe of Judah, Zerubbabel.

10. In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts. (Haggai 2:23)

   Through the last verse of Haggai 2:23, and the last mention of Zerubbabel, God the Holy Spirit designates this rejected, exiled king of Judah as my servant . . . . and I have chosen thee . . . the SEEN earthly Zerubbabel was the UNSEEN exiled king as the rejected, exiled UNSEEN KING Christ was SEEN only as an earthly man.

Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. (Matthew 12:18)
Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. (Isaiah 42:1)
