THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY
Part 1

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way. (2nd Thessalonians 2:7)

And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Revelation 17:5)

   The study of the mystery of iniquity is a vast undertaking because it began before the space -time of mankind. Perhaps you will understand why the mystery of iniquity begins in the first book of Bible, Genesis, and culminates in the last book of the Bible, the Revelation of Jesus Christ and therefore, this article is placed in our site titled, The Genesis Epic. The mystery of iniquity had a beginning before time, and it continued on into time, and this mystery remains a mystery to many today.
   Lucifer was the first rebel in the universe; Eve was the first woman rebel on the earth; Adam (the husband of Eve and the first Federal Head of the Earth) was judicially sited with treason against God and was forever noted as responsible for passing sin and death onto all of his descendants. Cain, the first child of the race of man born on earth, was a rebel and the first murderer. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brothers righteous. (1st John 3:12) Nimrod (the first confederate rebel), Babel (Confusion), Shinar (Confusion) and Babylon (Confusion) are all built on the mystery of iniquity. Although much has been written about the mystery of iniquity and posted under the site Men of Renown, this article will be posted in the MENU under the title The Mystery of Iniquity and will examine the mystery of iniquity as it relates to the final mystery, in Revelation 17:5, And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

—– INTRODUCTION —–

   God the Holy Spirit is drawing us back into Chapter 6 of the book of Genesis.   For spiritual youngin’s, the roots of MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH of Revelation 17:5 (the heart, body and soul of Babylon) are deeply buried in the book of Genesis. If you desire to understand The Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, then FIRST you MUST get to know The Book of Genesis. Therefore, to understand THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS it is needful to understand the DAUGHTERS or DAUGHTERS of harlotry.
   If you have a sensitive nature and certain words offend you, then realize that God doesn’t care about your sensitivities, in fact, He wants you to be offended, He wants ALL to be offended by SIN because SIN offends Him. The birth, growth and development of MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH is His enemy. This mystery woman, this mysterious mother of harlots, this mysterious mother of abominations is not the only enemy of God. She (Babylon) is Lucifer’s ultimate achievement in his battle against his Creator God. Lucifer formed the idea of Babylon before Babylon materialized. Lucifer plotted how Babylon would develop. Lucifer chose the place (Babel), (CLICK HERE) and he also chose the actual embodiment of the essence of evil in Nimrod (CLICK HERE). Lucifer selected the place, marked the person, and the meticulously measured the men and women of his ilk with his goal in mind. Lucifer’s goal was and is to destroy the GODHEAD bodily, to remove GOD from the minds, hearts and knowledge of mankind, and to eradicate every good thing that God has created: the species of mankind (male and female), the bounty from the goodness of the earth, the freshness of the waters of the earth, and the purity of the air.
  God not only blessed this earthly world, but He ensured its protection by providing shields of safety that surrounds us from harmful electrical impulses and from dangerous magnetic waves of energy. Also consider the unseen influences of organic growth and hidden powers of the moon, and the healing life-giving energies from the only light source (the sun) of our solar system. We live, breathe and exist in an environment created specifically for our unique bodies in a unique gravitational system of light and energy. Our bodies are constantly in motion without the realization of motion. Our bodies are constantly bombarded by energy and magnetic waves from forces outside of our planet’s surroundings without the immediate realization of its presence. God placed our custom-made bodies on a custom-made planet in a custom-made environment for a special purpose. Mankind is NOT an evolutionary accident.
   We inhabit a living rock that continuously moves through space believing that we control our own destiny. Our universe, our galaxy, our solar system, our world, our earth, and our environment were specifically and uniquely created for US, mankind. Somehow many believe that we control and can change what God has created for our benefit. Everything that man touches he ruins, but he thinks that he is better than God. Name one thing that man has taken from God’s perfect creation and MADE BETTER. Has the purity of the air been made better? Has the purity of the water been made better? Has the richness of the ground been made better? Has the food from plants been made better? Has the food from animal life been made better? Has mankind become better and naturally healthier without the use of man-made pharmaceutical products? Everything produced by man centers around the betterment of MONEY not the betterment of MAN. Man has taken the good things from God and man has improved it to RUIN. (Inventions and discoveries that has come by using the natural good things of God are a separate subject.) I am writing about taking the good things created by God and actually thinking that man is capable of goodness. Everything that God proclaimed that was very good, Lucifer has and is attempting to dismantle through man. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Genesis 1:31)

—– Ages Without God —–

    Mankind has endured many different and difficult ages. As is common in man, sometimes categorizing is a means to achieve simplicity from complex subjects, and sometimes a false sense of safety and intellectualism. For instance, archaeologists and socialists’ base man’s early history on three categories: the Stone Age, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. Then there is another period of categorizing man’s history: the Prehistoric, the Classical, the Medieval Age, Early Modern and Modern. In the mix we have the Dark Ages, the Industrial Age, the Age of Technology and the Computer Age. This is just the beginning of man’s categorizing his history according to a world that he perceives was accidentally formed. What is not seen nor recognized in all of these categories is the spiritual side of man or the lack thereof. This is where the Bible, the Supernatural written word of God by the Creator of mankind reveals the history of the race of man in a truer setting spanning six thousand years of man’s failure to achieve his purpose of being. Everything that mankind has experienced is actually connected to three points, or three main ages: the Age of Man in the Image of God, the Age of Sinful Man and the Age of the Beast. Every age from the Age of Sinful Man to the Age of the Beast falls within these two points. Although mankind has advanced technologically, he has increasingly regressed spiritually, morally and intellectually. Indoctrinating the young to believe that they are animals (animalkind) and NOT a unique race MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD has led us to where we are today . . . the state of insanity. From this state of insanity to the state of confusion is the mere distance of three lies: first lie, Yea, hath God said . . . . the second lie, Ye shall not surely die, . . . . and the third lie, ye shall be as gods.

Side Note: Babel (Confusion), Babylon, (Confusion) and Shinar (Confusion) are not three separate points, but they are one point, and it is not only because each name has a root meaning of confusion, but because Satan has set his seditious battle plan on the success of Babylon. The centerpiece that would seduce souls was and is Babylon. This core was much more than a physical location because it was also rooted in the spiritual realm of evil. Although Babel, Babylon, and Shinar all have the same meaning, within each name there is a root of a specific form of confusion. There is the confusion of languages (Babel), there is the confusion of the mixing and intermingling of peoples (Shinar), and there is mental, physical, emotional and spiritual confusion (Babylon). Each name typifies a distinctive area of confusion: verbal/communication, physical, emotional and spiritual, but at the End, Babylon the Great is identified as the habitation of devils, and owned by every foul spirit, and a place of the enslavement of hate and sin (and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird). ◆ End of Side Note.

   God the Holy Spirit clearly made it evident in His word that Babylon is CONFUSION. In the book of Isaiah, 13:1, God called Babylon ‘the burden of Babylon,’ and so it is. In Genesis Chapter 11:7, and 11:9 God also labels Babel (the land of Babylon) with the word confound (confusion).

Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. (Genesis 11:7)
Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. (Genesis 11:9)

   Without a doubt the entire globe is experiencing a state of confusion. This is The Age of Confusion . . . The Age of Babylon. Without a purpose of being, humankind can still invent, develop and design comforts of being, but without a purpose of being man has no reason to exist in a world of those comforts. Of all the three parts of man, the two aspects of soul and spirit are the most neglected and rejected, therefore, the body becomes the one part that is most regarded and valued. Notice how God sets the spirit first, the soul second, and the body last in 1st Thessalonians 5:23, And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
   In order to be actively involved in life, one MUST have a purpose. In order to be spiritually active in life, one MUST have a spiritual purpose of being. Throughout ALL the ages of mankind, as man seemingly advanced technologically and materially he lost his sense of purpose of being. Unable to understand this sense of loss, man became enamored by scores of objects and subjects driving mankind further away from his true purpose in life toward more meaningless objects and accomplishments until ‘the knowledge of the holy‘ became another empty religious phrase meaning nothing to the man without a purpose of being.
   What is left for the man without a purpose of being? Confusion has become the new norm. Religious confusion where those who serve in their particular religious setting have lost the concept of ‘the holy.’ Politics and social issues have overtaken religion. Remember, that I am not writing about Christianity, for religion and Christianity are enemies. We are so far removed from the things of ‘the holy‘ that even false religious establishments are floundering for a footing, something to hold onto, anything to hold onto that may have an odor, a whiff of religious worship. (A religion that they can propagate, teach about, preach about as holding hope (false hope) out to their followers.) Since true Christianity can no longer be recognized, the counterfeit church no longer has a God to proclaim. What is left for the counterfeit churches? Rome for centuries melded together superstition, paganism, truth, church doctrine, Nicolaitanism, eastern philosophy, Jewish traditions and scores of unethical edicts; the Anglican Church has also been overthrown for decades by the same ungodly leaders as Rome, struggling for a place in the world of religious renown, power and money. Denominationalism also erroneously built their foundation on things that God rejected (Hebrews 8:13), and here we are today, in a world of confusion without the knowledge of the holy . . . without the knowledge of God . . The Age of Confusion.

Side Note: The Old Garment, the Old Bottle, the Old Wine, Old Testament, the First Covenant became the Old Covenant.
In that he saith, A new [covenant], he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old [is] ready to vanish away. (Hebrews 8:13)
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Matthew 26:28)
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions [that were] under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:15)

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days. (Luke 5:35) And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. (Luke 5:36) And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. (Luke 5:37) But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. (Luke 5:38) No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better. (Luke 5:39)

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days. (Mark 2:20) No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse. (Mark 2:21) And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles. (Mark 2:22)
  Romanism, orthodoxy, denominationalism built on the old, that which was rejected by God. Why do you think that God used these words in the church in Smyrna (I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but [are] the synagogue of Satan Revelation 2:9) and in the church of Philadelphia, Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. (Revelation 3:9) The religious world found it almost impossible to envision a Christianity separated from the old covenant; thus, they carried the things that God had put away into the age of that which was new. The garments of the Aaronic priesthood were ONLY for the Aaronic priesthood. The holy oils, the ashes, the burning of incense, the tinkling bells on the hem of the high priest, the directives given by God for the service of the Tabernacle and the Temple were ONLY for Israel in the Tabernacle in the wilderness and the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem. All that was given by God the Holy Spirit for the service in the Tabernacle and later in the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem was to reveal the wonders, glory and majesty of the GODHEAD bodily. God revealed Himself as Godhead to Israel in a material manner to disclose a supernatural spiritual and physical Being. Israel could not comprehend the spiritual aspects behind the material tangible physical manifestations disclosed to them throughout the Old Testament especially the elements of service and priesthood in the Pentateuch.
   As John the Baptist was the last (UNACCPETED) legitimate high priest to Israel, and the last Old Testament prophet he symbolically represented the passing away of the Old in order to introduce and to present the New covenant. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. (John 3:28) He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. (John 3:29) He must increase, but I must decrease. (John 3:30) He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all (John 3:31).
   The prophecy of Jeremiah 31:31 pointed to a future time when God would make A NEW COVENANT with Israel. Christ was that covenant IF they had accepted Him as their promised Messiah, but they rejected Christ and in this rejection, they also rejected THAT COVENANT for THAT time. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah. Nevertheless, the spinning wheels of God’s Sovereignty can never be stopped nor altered by man’s rejection and denial. Israel rejected God then, and they still reject Him today. When they have experienced the tragedy of God’s rejection, although it is a temporary rejection, God will completely fulfill ALL of His promises to Israel.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. (Zechariah 12:9)
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. (Zechariah 12:10)
In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. (Zechariah 12:11
   Then at the time of Israel’s great mourning, THEN God will fulfill His NEW COVENANT. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah. Much MUST happen between Israel’s rejection and God’s fulfillment.
● For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. (Romans 11:25) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: (Romans 11:25) For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. (Romans 11:25)
● For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. (Romans 11:25)
● But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. (Hebrews 8:6)
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. (Hebrews 8:7)
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: (Hebrews 8:8)
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. (Hebrews 8:9)
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: (Hebrews 8:10)
And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:11)
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. (Hebrews 8:12)
In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. (Hebrews 8:13)
   When God was manifested in the express image of the invisible God THROUGH Jesus Christ and was rejected and denied by His people, ALL ENDED. When Christ cried out, It is finished. He meant, It is finished. His work of earth as the Lamb of sacrifice was finished. When God allowed His Temple to be completely destroyed and demolished by the Roman soldiers in 70 A.D. forty years (forty the time of testing) after His death and resurrection, it was God proclaiming IT IS FINISHED. Yet, the Jewish priests and the pagan priests (in many cases they were one and the same) at the birth of Christianity needed a form of job security, and so . . . and therefore . . . and consequently . . . another form of priesthood was constructed around the Aaronic priesthood melding together the Aaronic priesthood and the pagan priesthood. And so, and therefore, and consequently when the Counterfeit Church cloaked herself with the things of the old and declared it to be of Christ Christianity was reinvented and Christianity was relabeled.
   One of the tragedies that the newborn church faced and failed at was not understanding that they were the beginning of a totally new entity, a new era, a new creation that was NOT to be built on an old system. When men with hidden agendas crept into their gatherings, they, of course, did not have the Spirit of Christ within, and therefore, they desired to imitate the old Jewish system of the Aaronic priesthood. These two separate systems could not merge and maintain its original purpose of godly service without destroying the intent and purpose of the newly forming church. Thus, the new baby in the neighborhood of spirituality became an object to be controlled, stunted, suppressed and to be forced into a mold of a ruined system rejected by God; this new baby was not appreciated as a new living organism created by God to be a completely separated entity which would be led and controlled by the Spirit of Christ alone. Consequently, this new baby was divided into two factions: the possessors of the Spirit of God, and the professors of God.
   The Old Garments under a newer garment . . . the Old Bottle with a new label . . . the Old Wine mixed with a newer wine. . . . the Old Testament chopped, mixed, pressed and changed to socially and spiritually gratify political and religious tyrants; thus, making the first covenant into an old irrelevant meaningless covenant, stripping away the foundation so that the fulfillment of the New Testament (the new covenant) cannot be spiritually understood. The foundation became the fulfillment, and the fulfillment became the foundation. ◆ End of Side Note.

—– The Church Age Without God —–

     Why title this section as The Church Without God? How can the Church be without God? First, there are two Churches. The Church centered around Christ is the mystical UNSEEN Church that cannot fail and the Church that is centered around man and man’s religion IS a counterfeit entity. The world can no longer distinguish between the True Church and the Counterfeit Church.
   The mystery of iniquity began before time and before the creation of man. This mystery is not a work of fiction, nor should we look at the word ‘mystery’ as an enigma, a riddle, without understanding. God, through His Spirit, wrote a book and although His book was written by a Supernatural Being, it was written for mankind to KNOW his Creator God. It was written so that mankind would KNOW why he was created. Through this Supernatural book God revealed HIMSELF to man, and also revealed man to man. Within this one book not only is the knowledge of the holy, but within this one book is also the knowledge of the unholy. Now this is where I stop to catch my breath and say, WOW, how can these things be? I am drawn to the question asked by Nicodemus from the gospel of John Chapter 3, verse 9. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? From verse 1 of Chapter 3, the Spirit of God informs us of the position of this man, There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. The Lord adds more about this man in verse 10, Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? This was not opinion of the Lord Jesus, but this was what Nicodemus thought of himself, and what the people of Israel considered Nicodemus to be . . . a master of Israel. Nicodemus was a master, a religious scholar, a noted expert in the Law and writings of Scripture, but he knew little about his field of expertise. Nicodemus knew nothing about ‘the new birth’ although the Old Testament (supposedly the field of the expert knowledge of Nicodemus) is saturated with men and women who experienced being born again. Many believe that being born again is ONLY a New Testament experience . . .  IT IS NOT.
   Why did God change the name of Abram to Abraham? (Genesis 17:5) Why did God change Jacob’s name to Israel? (Genesis 32:28) Why did God translate Enoch? Why did God take Elijah by a fiery chariot? What was the key element that God used to separate the men and women in the Old Testament from the ungodly? FAITH was the key to heaven THEN and FAITH is the key to heaven NOW. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) But FAITH must have an object. The OBJECT of FAITH in the Old Testament was Christ, and the OBJECT of FAITH in the New Testament is Christ. Now, the last question, Why did the Holy Spirit of God give us Hebrews Chapter 11 with particular names of men and women of faith? The answer is in these verses, And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: (Hebrews 11:39) God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. (Hebrews 11:40)
   1st Peter 1:10 and 11 informs us what Nicodemus SHOULD have known that the prophets of the Old Testament prophesied and wrote of THE CHRIST (the Messiah) to come. The Spirit of Christ was in them and told them of the things that Christ would suffer. The prophets of the Old Testament wrote about His birth, His life, His sufferings, His death and His resurrection. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: (1st Peter 1:10) Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. (1st Peter 1:11) All those of faith, beginning with Abel, looked forward BELIEVING that God would accomplish all that He had promised. All those of faith today stand between the past (looking back into time to the Lord Jesus Christ) and to the future looking forward by FAITH to the fulfillment of His promises. (Romans 1:17)

● For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:17)
● But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; (Romans 3:21) Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: (Romans 3:22)

   Nicodemus knew nothing about FAITH. He knew nothing about God’s tripartite Being. (John 3:11) He also knew little about God’s omnipresence. (John 3:13). Nicodemus knew nothing about Isaiah Chapter 53, or Zechariah 4:7 and 5:12. This Scripture scholar knew more about ceremonial garments and systematic ritual form because he had based his faith on the things approved by men of renown instead of on the word of God. (Am I being too harsh on Nicodemus? I think not because at THAT stage in his life he represented most religious scholars; however, NEVER forget that even religious scholars can be saved by coming face to face with the Living Word of God. Nicodemus along with Joseph of Arimathaea properly prepared the Lord’s body for burial. THEN Nicodemus KNEW who Jesus was. THEN Nicodemus KNEW the value and worth and preciousness of the one he was burying for he brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.

And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus. (John 19:38)
And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. (John 19:39)
Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury. (John 19:40)
Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid. (John 19:41)
There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews’ preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand. (John 19:42)

   The Holy Spirit of God again is PERFECT in describing the UNSEEN in Nicodemus . . . which at the first came to Jesus by night . . . which at the FIRST implies that there had been more than one meeting between Nicodemus and the Lord . . . and Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. THEN Nicodemus had become a scholar. THEN Nicodemus KNEW Scripture, for now by bringing MYRRH he knew the following about myrrh. Nicodemus KNEW that by bringing myrrh he was presenting a tribute to the Authority over life (Genesis 43:11); that he was anointing God’s Tabernacle and God’s Ark of the testimony (Exodus 30:23); that this Body was given for the purification of the unclean (Esther 2:12); that Christ’s death was wrapped in the oil of gladness, the gladness of resurrection (Psalm 45:8); that here swathed in the purity of linen was the One who IS the beauty of holiness (Song of Songs 1:13, 3:6; 4:6, 14; 5:1, 5, 13). The word myrrh is recorded SEVEN (7) times in the Song of Songs revealing the PERFECTION of the holiness of God. Yes, Nicodemus NOW KNEW. His question to the Lord when he FIRST met the Lord at night was, How can these things be? NOW Nicodemus KNEW.)
   The Lord Jesus Christ addressed the following issues in this 3rd Chapter because these were things that Nicodemus (although a master of Israel) knew little about: the serpent raised in the wilderness by Moses representing sacrifice of death and salvation of their Messiah (John 3:14), eternal life (John 3:15), and the Sonship of Christ as the Son of God in John 3:16, 17, and 18.) So much, so very much, that this master of Israel, this scholar of Scripture did not know. Let us examine only one of the many issues in Chapter 3 of the gospel of John through verse 11. Remember that the tripartite Being of God was also clearly stated in the Old Testament . . . how could Nicodemus NOT KNOW? Let us compare John 3:11 with Genesis 1:26.

● And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:26)
● Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. (John 3:11)

   Then before the Lord Jesus informed Nicodemus of the purpose for the serpent being raised up by Moses in the wilderness, and salvation, and eternal life, and the Sonship of the Son of God, Christ said in verse 12, If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? What exactly did Christ tell Nicodemus about that was earthly? It was . . . Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. . . . Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? (John 3:4)
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:6)
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:7)
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (John 3:8)
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? (John 3:9)

  Are you thinking, What have Nicodemus and the gospel of John Chapter 3 got to do with the heading of this section . . . The Mystery of Iniquity -The Church Age Without God? Gross sin, unspeakable corruption within the things of God not only influenced the Church Age but turned the Age of the Church into an age of iniquity, a Church WITHOUT God.
    God’s book was written so that mankind would KNOW God, and mankind would KNOW himself, and man would KNOW the mystery of iniquity and how iniquity moves, acts, travels, influences and attempts to overcome the things of God. KNOW THIS: iniquity can never overcome God; iniquity will never overcome God; the forces within iniquity and behind iniquity are mysteries only to themselves. God allowed Israel to fail when Israel followed the Law instead of following the Lawgiver. God allowed the Church to fail when the Church left its first love and loved the Church more than they loved the Head of the Church, the Lord Jesus Christ.
   Through all the past failures, and the current and future failures’, God’s purpose, power, and plan remains on course. That course is to reveal to man his sin nature, and to reveal to man His Savior. In order that man should know His Savior, man first must understand his need for a Savior, and here is the rub.
   Since man harbors iniquity within how then can he rightly judge his own iniquity? He can’t. It takes a greater power than what is in man to activate the conscience and to break the spirit of man in order to restore the soul. As iniquity has many mysterious facets, so also does the restoration of the soul of man also have many mysterious facets. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:6) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:7) The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (John 3:8) Christ opened a massive view into the UNSEEN world: a world of Spirit life. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5) The realm of the UNSEEN in the kingdom of God can only be accessed through a spiritual rebirth through the cleansing action of the Spirit of God by FAITH. This is what separates man from man. Those who have never experienced this cleansing redemptive power of the Spirit of God are completely flummoxed (baffled and confused). And because of their bewilderment they deny this new birth, or they mock, or they create an ethereal fanciful philosophical explanation for the UNSEEN power of the Spirit of God.

Side Note: the responsibilities of the Spirit of God are far beyond the UNSEEN and the SEEN; for instance, Christ Jesus is the GODHEAD BODILY SEEN, and the Spirit of God is the UNSEEN GODHEAD BEARER. Christ is the express image of the invisible God, and the Spirit of God is the quickening power of the invisible God. Through the UNSEEN Spirit of God, God moves, He creates, He renews, He gives birth, He is the bearer of life.
● And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7)
● The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. (Job 33:4)
● And when he had said this, he breathed on [them], and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: (John 20:22)
● And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:2)
● Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth. (Psalm 104:30)
● And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: (Joel 2:28) And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. ● Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 1:18)
● But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 1:20)

   The Church Age without God evolved mysteriously . . . I use the word mysteriously here not as an unknown evolution within the Church Age but as actions of ungodly men disguised as godly men. (2nd Corinthians 11:13) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. (2nd Corinthians 11:13) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (2nd Corinthians 11:14) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2nd Corinthians 11:15) Through deceitful workers, the counterfeit Church became and IS one of many mysteries of iniquity that engulfed the infant Church; thus, today the Church Age is without God. BUT the Church of the Spirit of God, born through the Spirit of God, breathed by the mouth of God, purchased through the blood of God, sustained by the power of Christ, will live forever in the eternal realm of God and His Christ.
   Religious deceivers, having dismissed the work of the Spirit of God, formed a counterfeit means by which man (without being born again by FAITH by the Spirit of God) could believe that he could enter into the kingdom of God. Again, instead of the power of the Spirit of God, imposters of the cloth assigned to the Church empty powers that would falsely usher followers into the kingdom of God. Membership in the counterfeit Church guaranteed entrance into heaven. Oh, excuse me, I forgot an important point: membership PLUS something . . . PLUS what? Well, it all depends on what era the follower lives or lived in. You see that there have been many PLUSES to membership: money is a plus to membership, in fact, MONEY is a BIG PLUS in many religions. Do not dare deny this fact! The mystery of iniquity formed a counterfeit Church to seemingly replace the Spirit of God in the spiritual process of the new birth. The Spirit of God cannot be replaced. He cannot be removed. He cannot be dismissed, and He cannot be ignored. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)

The Daughter of Babylon

   The spirit of iniquity in Babylon continues in the daughter of Babylon. If we are following the development of the mystery of iniquity as it relates to the final mystery of Revelation 17:5, And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH, we need to not only understand THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS but we also need to understand the DAUGHTERS or DAUGHTER of harlotry. We have covered Babylon and its roots, birth, and global preeminence throughout many previous articles. Since there is no end to the writing of articles, let us therefore scribble forward searching Scripture through the phrase daughter of Babylon. Scripture clearly states that Babylon has a daughter. In Ezekiel 16:44, there is a proverb, As is the mother, so is her daughter, and thankfully this proverb is NOT always grounded on God’s grace working through the Spirit of God creation of the new birth,  but the principle of this proverb is based on another principle, Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6) An evil tree will produce evil fruit. An evil mother will most likely produce an evil daughter. Remember that since MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT is THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH, this makes the daughter of Babylon a harlot and an abomination of the earth.
   This phrase daughter of Babylon is recorded five times in the Old Testament. (Although the number five represents God’s grace, there is the negative side of the number five, God’s wrath. Rejecting God’s grace can only result in bringing on God’s wrath that is the negative side of number five and the daughter of Babylon represents the false grace of works not of faith.) Always return to the beginning to comprehend the journey ahead. The daughter of Babylon is veiled through the number five in the first recorded war on earth in Genesis Chapter 14.    The first recorded war in Scripture centered around the unification of four world leaders protecting their economic superiority against five subservient kings. The five kings were from the area of current Jordan. These five kings from city-states refused to continue paying taxes (tribute) to four more powerful kings of the east. We are here at the first war because it is symbolic of what will occur in the future time frame of man. The daughter of Babylon is mentioned five times because she represents the character (or lack of character) in the system that will later fight for her existence against the powers of the world, the number 4, the number of the world.
    Now consider who and what the five cities of the plains of Jordan represents: Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim and Zoar. That these made war with Bera (in the evil, gift) king of Sodom, (burnt to-scorch, fettered) and with Birsha (in wickedness, strong) king of Gomorrah, (submersion, bondage) Shinab (change of father, a father has turned) king of Admah, (earthiness, red earth) (this name leads us back to Adam (red earth), the first rebel) and Shemeber (name of soaring, flight) king of Zeboiim, (valley of wild beasts, troops) and the king of Bela, (swallowing, destruction) which is Zoar. (bringing low, smallness) (Genesis 14:2) All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea. (Genesis 14:3) You should be very familiar with what occurred to these sodomites later in Genesis 19:24, 25 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; (Genesis 19:24) And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. (Genesis 19:25)
   These five (5) kings had been in financial bondage for thirteen (13) years, and evidently diplomacy failed. This should be a lesson (out of Genesis 14) for the future world that throughout the history of mankind, diplomacy has only prolonged the agony of defeat. These five kings paid tribute to the united nations of the east; the world’s power stretched its military tentacles to this small almost insignificant part of the world. The lesson for us to understand is that once the world is united in power, it forms a multilateral national, or world power to control the rest of the world. Even the greatest nations will find themselves paying tribute to a global entity that denies their right to national sovereignty. When world power is formed, it is not to respect sovereignty, but to remove it. In this the Devil has been a mastermind in forming his unseen dominion over the souls of mankind. Once these organizations of the world are formed, it is almost impossible to break away from them. That is why globalism is contrary to national independence and sovereignty for the whole purpose of the disputer of this world lays in captivating the souls and hearts of men. Man thinks that there is safety in unity, when in fact, safety is taken away by unity when it is the powerful who are united.
   The first recorded war relates to the destruction of MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. The first recorded war relates to the fall of Babylon. The first recorded war was not mainly about tribute money, but it was about powerful men united to maintain their hold over those of lesser power and influence. This first recorded war wasn’t about good or evil, for they ALL were evil. It wasn’t about sodomy for there was no such thing as good and evil in their world. Iniquitous power knows no controls. Iniquitous power desires MORE power over the lives and souls of mankind. This first recorded war typifies the war of power united to bring down others of the same ilk; when mystery, Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth becomes the weaker link in the chain of control then evil will eat its own. This first documented war of four against five when the four (the world) is victorious over the five is a prophetic picture of a future battle yet to come on the plains of Jordan . . . All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea . . . when the four nations of a united eastern bloc will lay to waste five smaller nations from of an eastern group. There will be many battles before the millennial reign of Christ, but always consider that there is only one war . . . the war for souls.

   Behind every military battle there is another more powerful united group: those who extract money for the battle, those who create the ‘moral’ reason or explanation for the battle, and those who will profit from the battle. These numbers of 4 and 5 in Genesis Chapter 14 also add up to be the number nine (9) the LAST in the series of single digits, the LAST before double digits, it is FINALITY and COMPLETION. In Genesis 14 there is a sequence of events related to the future: the battle between nations (the four and the five), the victory of Abraham (Israel) over the greater military force of the world (the four), and the appearance of Melchisedec (the Christ, the Messiah). 
   How is the daughter of Babylon veiled through the number five in the first recorded war on earth in Genesis Chapter 14? Consider the names and the places. A bit of repetition can be helpful, consider Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim and Zoar. (Deuteronomy 29:23) The places Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim and Zoar, the kings, Bera, Birsha, Shinab, Shemeber, and Bela all are descriptive of the daughter of Babylon . . . an evil gift, fettered, strong in wickedness, bondage, turned from the true father to another father, earthly minded as Adam, propagates wickedness, as troops of wild beasts and destructive. Now, tell me how the Bible was written by man and not by God the Holy Spirit.

The Age of the Daughter of Babylon

   What will the Spirit of God unveil to us through this phrase of daughter of Babylon? First, God gave promises and prophecies regarding the offspring of Babylon. Promises are not necessarily always a good thing. Consider God’s prophecies as a promise. When God, through a prophecy, proclaims that He will destroy, consider that prophecy as a PROMISE.

   The daughter of Babylon, Babylon’s offspring, the product of Babylon, is what our generation exists in . . . the Age of Confusion. This age is the daughter of Babylon. The end result of confusion is destruction. We are in the very midst of self-annihilation through the approval and acceptance of confusion. Add this social self-annihilation to the counterfeit Church and through its bondage cords of accepting sin it clearly is strangling itself with the abominations of sexual perversion that Scripture clearly denounces and condemns. When religious organizations promote and praise the exact things that the word of God condemns something is very wrong. Thankfully, scores have turned their backs on the counterfeit Church, and sadly, scores love their religion more than the Redeemer.

● Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD. (Isaiah 52:11)
● Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence. (Jeremiah 51:6)
● My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD. (Jeremiah 51:45)
● Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, (2nd Corinthians 6:17)
● And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Revelation 18:4)

   Through the five mentions of daughter of Babylon the Holy Spirit of God unveils how the offspring of Babylon will be completely annihilated. (The hideous voices of hatred screaming on the propaganda channels demand the annihilation of Israel and of Christianity, yet it will be they who will be annihilated . . . God has promised.)
   We are about to take a journey into time past, AND into time present, AND into the near quickly approaching future through the first mention of daughter of Babylon in a time capsule called ‘The Judgment Hour.’ What Babylon did to Jerusalem, (‘the city of peace,’ or ‘dual peace’) the city of God, God will do to the great city of Babylon ‘the daughter of Babylon.’ As [is] the mother, [so is] her daughter. (Ezekiel 16:44)

   The first mention of daughter of Babylon is found in Psalm 137, also known as the weeping Psalm, or ‘the song of tears.’

By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. (Psalm 137:1)
We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. (Psalm 137:2)
For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. (Psalm 137:3)
How shall we sing the LORD’S song in a strange land? (Psalm 137:4)
If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. (Psalm 137:5)

If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. (Psalm 137:6)

Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof. (Psalm 137:7)
O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. (Psalm 137:8)
Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones. (Psalm 137:9)

   The first mention of ‘daughter of Babylon’ is recorded in Psalm 137 with nine (9) verses. Nine is the number of completion, and finality. This number usually occurs with some form of judgment; therefore, it is quite fitting that this Psalm of tears ends by God’s promise to do to the daughter of Babylon (the offspring of Babylon) what Babylon did to the offspring of God’s chosen people.
   As we search the word Babylon in Scripture, we see that the Spirit of God consistently ties Babylon past to Babylon current to Babylon future because the spirit of Babylon began in the invisible realm of God’s supernatural universe. AND the same spirit of Babylon that began in THAT realm also found its way into the visible realm of mankind through Satan on earth, through Cain, through Ham, through Ham’s offspring, and through Nimrod and his offspring, AND through ages past into EVERY nation, AND into our current Age of Confusion.
   Satan also has seemingly been successful in overthrowing God’s earthly creation beginning with the murder of Abel centered again around the sanctuary of God through the worship and sacrifice of Abel. But all this has been written about in many previous articles. However, for newcomers to this site, it is needful to mention the spirit of Babylon in the invisible realm of God and its connection to the visible realm of God on earth for the spirit of Babylon was planted by Satan to grow as a deadly tree to poison the forest and all of its environment.
   The spirit of Babylon is an uninterrupted extension of evil and iniquity rooted and embedded into man’s history. This Babylonian spirit has successfully overcome the spirit of man. As has been written many times previously, Babylon is religion because religion was and is Satan’s primary occupation and obsession. Created by God as the angelic being named Lucifer, his principal role was to serve God in the sanctuary of God leading other angelic beings through their assigned service UNDER the high priest of God, Melchisedec; however, Babylon is not only religion it is also merchandising. Not just buying and selling, merchandising is much more than buying and selling. There is a product involved in merchandising. Again, follow the words. On earth, one of the abominations of Babylon was and is the buying, selling and trading of men and the souls of men. Who invented merchandising and trafficking? It was none other than Lucifer.

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. (Ezekiel 28:14)
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. (Ezekiel 28:15)
By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. (Ezekiel 28:16)
Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. (Ezekiel 28:17)
Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. (Ezekiel 28:18)

   Before the creation of mankind, Lucifer had a product that was sellable in God’s heavenly spiritual realm. What O what did Lucifer have that he could sell, buy or trade? He had beauty . . . NO, that’s not it. He had wisdom . . . NO, that’s not it. He had position. He had authority. He had jurisdiction, power and rule over many sanctuaries.

Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick . . . I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire . . . thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

   He had access to many sanctuaries, he had complete movement throughout God’s government . . . the mountain of God . . . and he had the right of entrance in the throne room of God . . . thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. His product was the selling of the chain of command. Lucifer sold power. He sold position. That would make Lucifer the first politician in the universe.

   Lucifer/Satan attempted to overthrow God’s heavenly hierarchical realm by corrupting the sanctuary of God through the merchandising of the buying and selling of favors of spiritual advancement and promotions, this rogue evil angel became insanely jealous over what he perceived his role was in the angelic hierarchy. Understandably, worship AND selling (or the selling of worship)is Lucifer’s area of expertise, and consequently, through a mind twisted by pride and jealousy, Lucifer became Satan, AND true spiritual worship became religion of works, AND the sinful spirit of man became the spirit of Babylon, AND here we are in the Age of Confusion, AND the Age of Babylon is . . . MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Revelation 17:5)
   Now try and convince those who have never opened a Bible that the Bible is NOT boring. Try to tell those who are petrified of the word Bible, that the Bible has been given to mankind by God to free man from sin and death. It is death that man truly fears, and yet man WILL NOT accept the solution to death. For those of us who are born again, for those of us who are redeemed by the blood sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, we will not be here on earth much longer to proclaim that man’s remedy for sin and death is IN our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ; therefore, let us pass the baton of freedom from sin and death onto others. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, (Hebrews 12:1)
   Back now to the daughter of Babylon . . . . Psalm 137 is a song of weeping. For over four hundred and thirty years (430), Israel was enslaved by Egypt, and for seventy years (70) they were physically enslaved to Babylon . . . that is five hundred (500) years. From that point in time onward, Israel was always under some form of tyranny. These people have been enslaved longer than any other people of national origin. (So, do not get carried away by ‘professional slaves’ who whine about their lot in life, these professional whiners are much better off economically than many. Every nation had and has slaves. Every person on this planet today is a product of slavery. This does not make slavery justifiable, but it should allow us to understand that ALL of us alive today have our ROOTS in slavery. NO ONE owns slavery.)
   Although many Israelites returned from Babylon to rebuild the city of Jerusalem and the Temple at Jerusalem, for the most part, Israel never became a self-ruling nation again under a legitimate Israelite king. Yes, God allowed Israel to have kings, but the majority were tyrannical despots.
   After 70 A.D. they were a nation in exile, a nation without a priesthood, a nation without a sacrifice, and a nation without a king, and a nation exiled from its land until David Ben-Gurion declared on May 14, 1948, that Israel was once again a nation, a modern Israel made a nation by men while ancient Israel had become a nation by the hand of their Creator God. The prophecy of Hosea in Chapter 3, verse 4 is one among many evidence of the existence of God and of the reality of the fulfillment of His promises through prophecy. For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim. Although Israel today is living on part of her original land of inheritance, she is NOT totally living in the complete and full land of her inheritance, for Israel’s original and true land stretched from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea under king Solomon. Israel may have a visible disconnected priesthood; however, it is NOT the priesthood of the Aaronic priesthood with sacrifices. Therefore, Israel is still without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim. Although the Israel of today is still NOT yet the Israel of God’s heart. Consequently, we are encouraged by the Spirit of God to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. (Psalm 122:6)
   The same confusion that has eaten away at Christianity also has eaten away at the Jewish priesthood. As the Church is splintered into many forms of worship systems, so also, the Jewish assembly has also been splintered into many forms of worship systems: from extreme ceremonial observances and endless rituals to denial of Jehovah. Again, the old wine and the new wine have both become undrinkable. Neither the old bottle, nor the new bottle were able to safeguard the contents of God’s truth and purity. The old garments and the new garments cover nothing, shield nothing, and protect nothing and once again man (whether under the garments of the old, or under the garments of the new) is left naked and bare before a righteous and holy God because they both (Jews and Christians) have left their first love and allowed themselves to become prey to confusion and victims of counterfeit worship systems.
   Israel has yet to endure much trial and suffering, but joy cometh in the morning. Be not dismayed by all the current anti-Semitic rhetoric. It is all organized propaganda in the attempt to indoctrinate the brainless followers of Marxist and Islamic fanatics against Jews through redirection away from what is actually occurring in the world . . . a ONE WORLD ORDER organizing to lay the groundwork for the Anti-Christ, the Beast. I realize that many may have been turned off by what I have written, nevertheless, the legacy news media organizations are neither allowing you to see, nor hear about the many global summits that have met and are meeting to organize your demise or slavery. Do you really and truly desire to know about MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH? Do you really and earnestly desire to know what the men of renown are planning for this globe? READ THE BIBLE. Be assured, God has it all under His control. READ THE BIBLE.
   As Babylon was destroyed so shall the daughter of Babylon also be destroyed. How do I know? O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy [shall he be], that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. (Psalm 137:8) God promised! This verse points to a future time when the structured daughter of Babylon is revealed as iniquity at its pinnacle triumph over the earth . . . MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. The daughter of Babylon became the work and product of her mother, Babylon. This should bring to mind another mother and daughter tag team of evil: Jezebel and her daughter Athaliah. Jezebel represented pagan priesthood embedded into royalty . . . religion and royalty. Her daughter Athaliah represented government or political corruption working together with religion to overthrow Israel. Athaliah was the only ‘woman’ to rule over Judah (the two southern tribes of Israel known as Judah and Benjamin) as ‘queen,’ as her mother Jezebel ruled over Samaria (northern Israel in the ten tribes) as queen on the throne of Ahab. Together they became (in type) the unification of government and religion. In a united type they were the prototype of BABYLON THE GREAT. In an actual united front these two women controlled ALL of Israel, the ten tribes and the two tribes.

—– The Second Mention of Daughter of Babylon —–

   Man could never have written such a prophetic profound sentence, and what a sentence this is. It is not only a written sentence, but it also carries the sentence of judgment for the virgin daughter of Babylon. Why the word virgin? The word virgin in 47:1 does not refer to purity or being untouched. God the Holy Spirit discloses that BEFORE Babylon became a power on earth that the essence of Babylon already existed in God’s heavenly realm through Lucifer’s rebellious program to overcome God’s Sanctuary. The virginity of Babylon denotes a previous existence BEFORE the act of spiritual and physical fornication at the establishment of Babylon in the city of Babel, on the plain of Shinar and in the territory of Babylon. Note the words: COME DOWN. . . and sit in the dust . . . sit on the ground . . . All these words draw us into a period of time on the earth AFTER Lucifer was cast out into the earth.

● And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. (Luke 10:18)

● And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:9)

   Then God reminds us and Satan that while he roamed through the realm of God’s sanctuary there was NO CROWN there for him, and there is no crown for him here on earth. For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: (Isaiah 14:13) I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isaiah 14:14) So close to the throne of power and majesty and yet, Lucifer failed to achieve what he so desperately desired . . . A CROWN. Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God. (Ezekiel 28:2) God compares the prince of Tyrus to Lucifer, and Lucifer to the prince of Tyrus.
   Then adding insult to injury, God adds this: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate. There in God’s heavenly realm, Lucifer was called ‘son of the morning,’ (Isaiah 14:13) How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Son of the morning, beautiful in wisdom, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty was God’s description of Lucifer before his treachery in the timelessness of God’s realm. As the description in Isaiah 47:1 refers to the virgin daughter of Babylon, for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate, BEFORE Isaiah 47:1, Lucifer was also described as once being beautiful in beauty and wisdom, as a tender and delicate created angel, but thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate, and so, Lucifer, son of the morning, a tender and delicate creation became a serpent, a dragon, a twisted ugly vile venomous virus no longer a ‘son of the morning’ but became a humiliated bastardized beast existing in darkness away from all that is good and godly. As Bram Stoker’s fictional novel character known as Dracula could not endure light rays, so the sin-virus infected creature now called the great dragon, the old serpent, the Devil, and Satan, cannot endure the Light of God and therefore, his preferred estate is the realm of ruin and darkness. And as Dracula lived from the blood of others, so also, Satan seeks the blood of life from his victims. Satan wants ALL of mankind to die, and to suffer while man is dying. Satan’s hatred is unlimited and has no boundaries.

● For the life of the flesh [is] in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it [is] the blood [that] maketh an atonement for the soul. (Leviticus 17:11)

● And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: (Genesis 3:4)
● Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)

   From ‘son of the morning’ to the dragon devil of darkness was a very quick fall. From beauty and wisdom to beast and insanity can be considered a physical and spiritual metamorphosis just as the symbolic metamorphic transition of Adam and Eve (when Adam brought sin into the world). They (Adam and Eve) became naked as God’s glory no longer covered them and protected them from the righteous and holy eyes of a Holy and Righteous Creator God. Now the same characteristics that were in Satan are found on Adam and Eve and all of their descendants: sin and iniquity.

● Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. (Ezekiel 28:7)
● Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. (Ezekiel 28:12)
● Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. (Ezekiel 28:17)

   Through Isaiah 47:1, the Holy Spirit of God sets the theme of this Chapter, that the root and core of Babylon existed in the supernatural sphere of God’s spiritual universe. Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: [there is] no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate. (Isaiah 47:1)

    God connects Babylon as a product or an offspring of the Chaldeans, through the words, O daughter of the Chaldeans. From the existence of O virgin daughter of Babylon in another period and place to O daughter of the Chaldeans, God the Holy Spirit sets the existence of Babylon in the time frame and a specific period of time to a specific people of the earth. The Author of Scripture is very specific in every word.
   The Chaldeans were people of ancient Mesopotamia, the area between the two rivers (the Euphrates and Tigris rivers) known today as Iraq. By the way, Mesopotamia means ‘exalted,’ or ‘highly elevated.‘ In the oldest book in the Bible written about Job we have the first mention of these people, the Chaldeans. They were a warring people from the beginning of their existence. In Job 1:17, they murdered for possessions. While he [was] yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. Bloody hearts filled with envy and jealousy reveals Chaldeans as children of Lucifer/Satan.
   Notice another character tract of the early Chaldeans in Isaiah 23:13, Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people was not, [till] the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up the towers thereof, they raised up the palaces thereof; [and] he brought it to ruin. Did you notice . . . this people was not, [till] the Assyrian founded it for them? They were not then, nor are they now capable of establishing anything permanent, everything they had then and everything they have now was founded and instituted by the Assyrians for the benefit of the Chaldeans. Also, notice the use of the words ‘they‘ and ‘he.’ They, the Assyrians, set up the towers in the land of Mesopotamia, they (the Assyrians) raised up the palaces, BUT ‘he‘ (the Assyrian, a specific person, a type of Satan) ruined all that was built for them in their own land. This is an impressive description by the Spirit of God revealing the abilities of a warring people unable to engineer, build or maintain their own territory and kingdom. The proverbial acorn and its parent tree of evil can be also viewed as Babylon (as the tree) and the daughter (the acorn) of Babylon.

Side Note: The Assyrian. The number of times that the word Assyrian and the words the Assyrian is recorded in Scripture tells us a great deal about this Assyrian. Assyrian is recorded thirteen (13) times in Scripture, but the Assyrian is mentioned twelve (12) times. Need I write more? YUP! Isaiah 10:5, is the first mention of Assyrian and sets God’s purpose in using this person to accomplish His judgments against rebellious Israel.

1. O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. (Isaiah 10:5)
2. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. (Isaiah 10:24)
3. That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. (Isaiah 14:25)
4. In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. (Isaiah 19:23)
5. Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people was not, [till] the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up the towers thereof, they raised up the palaces thereof; [and] he brought it to ruin. (Isaiah 23:13)
6. For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, [which] smote with a rod. (Isaiah 30:31)
7. Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. (Isaiah 31:8)
8. For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. (Isaiah 52:4)
9. Behold, the Assyrian [was] a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs. (Ezekiel 31:3)
10. When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah [saw] his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound. (Hosea 5:13)
11. He shall not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return. (Hosiah 11:5)
12. And this [man] shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men. (Micah 5:5)
13. And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver [us] from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders. (Micah 5:6)
   This is only a small side note, so dear reader, consider yourself lucky because we will not be doing much deep diving today. Assyria means ‘successful,’ and/or ‘step up.’ God used many kings of Assyria, but only four kings are mentioned in Scripture as kings of Assyria: Pul, Tiglathpileser, Shalmaneser and Sennacherib. (A bit of trivia, remember that there is no such thing in Scripture as trivia, nevertheless, note that Nebuchadnezzar was never referred to as king of Assyria, for he was a Chaldean, (Ezra 5:12) But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon.)
   The history of Assyria is much too extensive for us to take it on as a study, and since this is a BIBLE study, don’t you think that an honest and true study would be to TOTALLY rely on the Spirit of God and ONLY what He has written, and to not venture into man’s natural realm of suppositions and opinions and writings. So, as the famous Berra once said, “When you come to a fork in the road, take it,” we will therefore take ONLY what Scripture divulges.
   In the 13th mention in Micah 5:6, the Assyrian is from the land of Nimrod. Here again we have another family blood line connection, for Nimrod built Babel in the land of Babylon BEFORE there was a Babylon. The Assyrian’s character was the character of Nimrod. The Assyrian (although many kings) was used by God to severely admonish Samaria and Judah (Israel) through the Assyrian time frame, Satan was building his empire, testing the waters of God’s determinate counsels, laying the foundation for a temporary universal Babylonian empire. As Nimrod’s reign was fleeting (according to God’s time table), and the reign of the Assyrians did not endure, so also the Babylonian Empire did not last, nor will MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH remain because Satan’s plan is to bring the earth and mankind to a certain control point and pass the reins of power over to one man, The Beast. According to Satan’s plan NOT ONE SINGLE RELIGION or a CONGLOMERATE of RELIGIONS MUST REMAIN INTACT, and NOT ONE POWERFUL RELIGIOUS LEADER MUST REMAIN IN CONTROL. The Beast MUST be the sole CONTROLLER. The Beast MUST be the only one who is worshiped. This is Satan’s plan. This is Lucifer’s fantasy dream . . . from Nimrod, to the Chaldeans, to the Assyrians, to the Babylonians, to the Greeks, to the Romans, to a united global tyrannical syndicate, to a reunited Eastern Empire of Arab nations, to the Beast. THAT is the game plan. Remember, this is Satan’s land grab and territory. All nations and territories have only been pawns on his chessboard for world domination. He had NO CROWN in heaven, therefore, he planned, he raged, and with an insane obsession he envisions A CROWN on the head of his man, the visible image of his invisible self, The BEAST, the unholy trilogy of iniquity. ◆ End of Side Note: The Assyrian.

   Knowing how much people enjoy reading, consider reading Chapter 47 of the book of Isaiah which has the second mention of the daughter of Babylon, and the daughter of the Chaldeans tied to The lady of kingdoms. In verse 5 of Chapter 47 of the book of Isaiah, the product or offspring of the Chaldeans was called, The lady of kingdoms. Why this term, The lady of kingdoms? Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms. This is where it all began? What began? Idolatry began BEFORE the Chaldeans, however, it was there in Ur of the Chaldees where idolatry owned Ur. It was there in Ur of the Chaldees, where God introduced FAITH once more into the world through Abram. (Genesis 11:28, 31; 15:7; Nehemiah 9:7 and Acts 7:1-4) It was at the height and pinnacle of idolatry that God gave the gift of FAITH to Abram and he became Abraham. It was there in the territory of the Chaldees that idolatry became royalty known as, The lady, and in the Chaldees many idolatrous kingdoms were born. When Satan basked in the thought that he ruled the known world, and that idolatry ruled that world, it was THEN that the God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham. (Acts 2:7) FAITH was once again given to one man of God’s choosing.
   Ur. of the Chaldeans was where it all began, in the midst of the worship of Satan, God gave the gift of FAITH. Noah was the last person mentioned in Scripture who had been given the gift of FAITH at the time of the universal flood; therefore, from Noah to Abram were ten generations: Noah, Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah, Eber, Peleg, Reu, Nahor, Terah, and Abram. That was a long time when there was no FAITH given to man as a gift from God. How do I know this? Read the 11th Chapter of the book of Hebrews, called ‘the faith chapter.’ The line of faith ended with Noah (Hebrews 11:7) and then God appeared to Abraham and FAITH was again given as a gift to man in Abraham (Hebrews 11:8). Why do you think that FAITH is brought in at this particular point in this article on the daughter of Babylon? After Noah and a fresh clean earth, God gave mankind another chance to earnestly seek Him. AND MAN FAILED. During this time period, sin and iniquity advanced quicker than it had advanced from Adam to Noah. The spirit of Babylon ravished the earth during this time frame even BEFORE there was a Babylon . . . remember the phrase O virgin daughter of Babylon.
   It is almost impossible for our minds to comprehend what man accomplished in his blood thirstiness during this time frame. Man, animals and the earth itself suffered from the horrors of unabated sin. Relentless sin has to destroy all in its path. Slavery, murders, wars, idolatry, sexual lusts, perversions beyond imaginations, all forms of abominations drove the minds of men and women into a state of numbness to sin. Under Satan’s control mankind was driven into an existence of animalism covered by the elegance of silks and the power of gold. It was at this lowest level of spirituality and morality (there is a difference) that Babylon emerged in the Ur of the Chaldees as man’s great achievement. THEN God acted in grace to one man, Abraham. Through Abraham, Babylon’s future destiny was set. Through Abraham, Babylon and her daughter would be no more. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1st John 3:8)

   REMEMBER, that the word ‘daughter‘ speaks of the FUTURE offspring yet to come when the Spirit of God breathed these words into the mind and heart of the prophet Isaiah. And REMEMBER, that we are living in the current age of the daughter of Babylon and daughter of the Chaldeans, who base their belief system as The lady of kingdoms. The Spirit of God continually draws our minds and eyes to the East. (It is beyond sadness when thousands of souls cannot lift their minds and eyes away from their own streets and neighborhoods. Clueless souls cannot see that their physical and spiritual enemy is of the East especially when they cannot even find Mesopotamia, Babylon, and the nations of the East on a map.) The East is where Satan laid his city, his palace, his country and his name: BABYLON. The cities of Nimrod are cities of the East. (Genesis 10:9-20) The Assyrians laid their strength in Babylon. The Persian/Mede Empire built their strength in Babylon. The Chaldean king of the land of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, built his power and stronghold in Babylon. The Macedonian/Greek Empire had Athens as their strength, but their hearts were set on Babylon and the east beyond through the conquests of Alexander the Great. The Roman Empire stretched from Egypt in the south, to Spain in the west, to England in the north, but their eyes yearned for Babylon and the gold of the east. Babylon is mentioned mores times in Scripture than any other place . . . more than 249 times in the Old Testament and 12 times in the New Testament. Why Babylon? Why Confusion? Never forget that the word Babylon means confusion.
    The prophecy in Chapter 47 of the book of Isaiah contains much more than prophecy. Why read this Chapter? See you on the other side of verse 15.

Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate. (Isaiah 47:1)
Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. (Isaiah 47:2)
Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man. (Isaiah 47:3)
As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 47:4)
Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms. (Isaiah 47:5)
I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke. (Isaiah 47:6)
And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it. (Isaiah 47:7)
Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children: (Isaiah 47:8)
But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments. (Isaiah 47:9)
For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me. (Isaiah 47:10)
Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know. (Isaiah 47:11)
Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail. (Isaiah 47:12)
Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. (Isaiah 47:13)
Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it. (Isaiah 47:14)
Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee. (Isaiah 47:15)

   Here we are on the other side of Isaiah 47, on the other side of destruction. Remember Psalm 137:8, . . . O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy [shall he be], that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. (Psalm 137:8) Isaiah Chapter 47 is about the FUTURE of Babylon. After thousands of years, the product of Babylon, the fruit of Babylon, the offspring of Babylon finally experiences her just reward.
   Another point for you to remember is that spiritual Babylon is represented by a physical city and a tangible political system because spiritual Babylon is centered around unseen principalities of a kingdom represented by a city. And a kingdom not only requires a king but it cannot have two kings, and it can only exist through agencies performing the will of the king and there we have the ‘power.’ Notice that the word principalities is documented seven times in Scripture. Of the seven mentions, six mentions connect principalities followed closely by the word powers. Usually, the first mention of a subject sets the definition and theme, and the last mention usually ties everything together. Read the following section and concentrate on the words principalities and powers.

● Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down, [even] the crown of your glory. (Jeremiah 13:18)
● For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, (Romans 8:38)
● To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, (Ephesians 3:10)
● For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. (Ephesians 6:12)
● For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Colossians 1:16)
● [And] having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (Colossians 2:15)
● Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, (Titus 3:1)

   Everything that exists in our natural tangible world is based on the things in the spiritual unseen world. The principal being: first, the spiritual; secondly, the natural. We have governments. God’s spiritual sphere has a righteous government. We have various agencies serving government. In God’s righteous government there are also many different agencies serving God, such as the different ranks and offices of the angelic realm. In the spiritual sphere there are principalities and powers (Ephesians 3:10) as there are principalities and powers on earth (Colossians 1:16).
   After Lucifer failed in his coup against God he lost all control that he had in God’s realm, consequently, unable to muster the needed spiritual resources that he once had, he built another unseen spiritual organization, a government centered around himself, a kingdom with principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12), but this time he added the creature man as the SEEN earthly government in a mutual alliance. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. (Ephesians 6:12) [And] having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (Colossians 2:15)
   As Jezebel (queen and a pagan priestess) and her daughter Athaliah (also a queen and a pagan priestess) represented authority (government/military) and religion united, so Babylon also represents a physical actual city that wields religious authority within a global system of financial, corporate and military powers united: a city and a political system. Both will be destroyed. Both MUST be destroyed because The Beast cannot have a city or a system operating outside of his purview and sphere. It is nothing to Satan to spend thousands of earth years and to destroy millions of souls and then at the moment that he believes he has achieved victory over God and His Son, to destroy and burn everything that he used to reach his goal. This is not only the heart of Lucifer/Satan to burn to the ground what he built but think of all past tyrants and current tyrants who would burn to the ground their own people and their own territory rather than pass power over to another. (This is the same mindset that the Communist-Uniparty of the United States has at the time of this article (July 2024), if unable to maintain illegal control of the people of the U.S.A., they will not hesitate to burn the cities of this nation down in protest rather than have their power removed from them by the system called ‘voting,’ which is really ballot counting.)
   Expendable humanity is what Satan thinks of God’s creation made from dust. God created man from the dust of the earth to raise him to the highest point of glory to inherit eternal life and to exist in a realm where righteousness dwells, and to serve as joint heirs with Christ. Satan HATES man with a deep-seated hatred because redeemed man will be GLORIFIED joint heirs with Christ. The position that Lucifer had, he lost to Melchisedec, Christ the Son of God, and lowly man was brought in to serve God as joint heirs with Christ, AND Lucifer/Satan became expendable. There is a saying that ‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.‘ But there is a greater fury, the fury of the Devil rejected and found expendable.

● And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8:17)
● That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:7)
● Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? (James 2:5)

   As there was NEITHER a CROWN nor a THRONE for Lucifer, there will be NEITHER a THRONE nor a CROWN for Babylon, neither will there be a THRONE nor a CROWN for the daughter of Babylon. Jeremiah 13:18 informs us that both the king (Satan) and the queen (Babylon) will be humbled and they will SIT DOWN on the ground, the lowest position, and their principalities shall come down, [even] the crown of your glory.

● Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down, [even] the crown of your glory. (Jeremiah 13:18)
● Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: [there is] no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate. (Isaiah 47:1)

   As there was NEITHER CROWN, nor THRONE for Lucifer in God’s supernatural sphere there was also NO GLORY there for him. Although Lucifer/Satan built an earthly kingdom on earth in Babylon, the Spirit of God through the book of Isaiah Chapter 13 (notice the number 13) and in verse 19 (notice the number 9 of judgment and finality added to God’s number of divine order in the number 10) discloses the sure and determined end of Babylon will be the same as the sure and determined end of Satan. The lady of kingdoms, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of kingdoms, and the excellency of kingdoms will cease to exist because God has determined it to be so. And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees’ excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. (Isaiah 13:19)

   This article is far from complete, and we are only on page 36. I leave you here at this point, and hopefully, God will again supply both reader and writer with physical and spiritual strength to continue on with the third mention of daughter of Babylon.
