The WAR of the East
(Hebrews 11:8, 9; Genesis 14:1)

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. Hebrews 11:8
By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: Hebrews 11:9

And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations; Genesis 14:1

Amraphel king of Shinar
Keeper of the gods ● Sayer of darkness

  The man of FAITH (Abram) and men of faith face two great battles against evil. One is the evil world; the second is the prince of darkness manipulating that evil world. This first verse of Genesis Chapter 14 depicts the entire history of nations of the earth, even to this very day.
   The four kings that went into the land of the Canaanites all have names with important meanings. The name of the first king mentioned, Amraphel, has a double meaning, Keeper of the gods and Sayer of darkness. This is the first king that is introduced, and I find it interesting how the Holy Spirit introduces him, Amraphel was in a league with the prince of darkness. Undoubtedly, he was a promoter of spiritual darkness, for this is Satan’s main work: to overthrow the souls of man in religious darkness and the evils of idolatry.   Remember these four kings were from the East. This was the gathering point for Nimrod and his kingdom before the great dispersion and the division of nations. Yet Satan, working behind the scenes, replenished the East with these four kings united together in the spirit of darkness and bondage of man. We should remind ourselves that at that time of darkness there was ONLY ONE MAN OF FAITH IN THE WHOLE KNOWN WORLD: Abram. Compare Job with Abram, Job 1:1and 8.

● There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. (Job 1:1)
● And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? (Job 1:8)

   In the physical world we are aware of who is standing beside us, and who is standing behind us, but in the world of the prince of darkness that awareness of a spirit world is not quite as obvious; consequently, the prince of darkness can do much evil to the children of God for his sly presence can be masked and undetected.
   Amraphel is the first king mentioned, and this first king was the king of an idolatrous land called Shinar. Shinar has a dual meaning: ‘tooth of the city‘ (that which bites the soul) and ‘confusion.’  Shinar and Babylon are joined together through the meaning of both names because Babylon also means ‘confusion.’ Also remember that in the land of Shinar was the plain of Dura where Nebuchadnezzar built his great idol of evil.

● And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. (Genesis 10:10)
● Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. (Genesis 11:9)
● And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. (Genesis 11:2)
● With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five. (Genesis 14:9)
● And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. (Isaiah 11:11)
● And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god. (Daniel 1:2)
● And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base. (Zechariah 5:11)

  The following verses build a short history of the land of Shinar from the beginning to the end. The land of Shinar is the ephah of Zechariah Chapter 5. This has always been the ephah of ALL wickedness.

Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth. (Zechariah 5:5)
And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth. (Zechariah 5:6)
And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah. (Zechariah 5:7)
And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. (Zechariah 5:8)
Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. (Zechariah 5:9)
Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? (Zechariah 5:10)
And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base. (Zechariah 5:11) CLICK HERE for more about the stork, the ephah, and the base. 

   Is it any wonder that wickedness began in the land of Shinar? Wickedness will come to its end in the SAME LAND. Is it any wonder that the FIRST RECORDED battle or national WARS came out of the land of Shinar? Many feel that the man of sin, The Beast, filled with ALL wickedness, will come out of the land of Shinar ‘confusion‘ and ‘the tooth that bites the soul.’

Arioch king of Ellasar
Lion like ● Venerable

And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations; Genesis 14:1

   The next king mentioned in the league of four kings is named Arioch. The reasoning and definition behind his dual name of ‘lion like,’ and ‘Venerable‘ ‘projected Arioch as a ferocious beast as a roaring lion going to and fro through the whole earth and with this idea and scheme of fear is an added scheme, the idea of being ‘Venerable.’ The idea of pomp and a moral tone of agelessness and religious honor to a Godlike figure is attached to the persona of Arioch.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1st Peter 5:8) Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. (1st Peter 5:9)

  Understand that the plan of the devil has not changed since he overthrew the first man, Adam. He is still overthrowing men and nations through the evil that is IN the hearts of men.
   The second kingdom was called Ellasar. The meaning behind the name of this kingdom is ‘there is a god that chastens.’ This kingdom is without mercy, there is neither grace nor truth, it is the god of this world of darkness, the sly slithering serpent who continually chastens mankind through his evil. These kings were tyrants and marauders taking what did not belong to them. Also, we have the first HINT of the man of sin, The Beast, sitting in the temple as God upon his throne.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (2nd Thessalonians 2:3)
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2nd Thessalonians 2:4)
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? (2nd Thessalonians 2:5)

   The apostle Paul reminded the Thessalonians that this was NOT the first time that he had declared this truth to them. Again showing us the repetition of the word of God is NEEDFUL for the flesh is quick to forget. We only have to look back to Genesis 14 to see a man (a king) projecting himself and his kingdom being God.

Chedorlaomer king of Elam
A king ● Venerable

And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations; Genesis 14:1

    The third man or king and his kingdom were named Chedorlaomer. With a large name as this, you would expect a large personality, and he had one. There is a triple meaning in the name of Chedorlaomer: ‘a king,’ ‘binding the sheaves,‘ and ‘a generation of a handful.’ Let us examine this complex name to understand the complexities within this king, First, ‘binding the sheaves,’ is collecting the people, and binding them to himself discloses that he was a king of bondage. He was a destroyer among nations, ‘a king,’ probably decided at his birth. He is an interesting personality for in his name there is also another root meaning ‘a binding of a people,’ and/or ‘binding of the sheep.’ He ruled over a multitude, for his name also brings in ‘a generation of a handful.’ He was the king of Elam which means ‘their heaps.’ This describes, his kingdom, and yet, Elam has another root meaning of ‘hidden.’ It also has the implied suggestion of ‘nursing them;’ this powerful king was bringing up his subjects (like children) in the same evil that he embraced. Chedorlaomer’s name was descriptive of his person, showing great pride and imperialistic dominance. Also, in Elam we are reminded several times later in Scripture that these people attempted to invade Israel.

Tidal king of nations
A king ● Cast out

And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations; Genesis 14:1

   Now we come to the last and final of the four kings of the East. What is the Spirit of God going to show us? Number 4, the number of the world, north, south, east and west . . . Tidal king of nations. The Spirit of God leaves no interpretation for us to examine. The meaning of Tidal’s name is ‘a king,’ and ‘thou shalt be cast out of the Most High,’ and/or ‘thou shalt be cast out from above.‘ Tidal’s personality spread throughout ALL the nations of the world. He was in a league with the adversary of the souls of man.
   The man that bears the title of ‘man of sin,’ and called The Beast will truly RULE over ALL nations as Tidal king of nations once ruled over the nations. As Satan was cast out from God’s presence, this man of sin known as The Beast will also be cast out into everlasting darkness by the most high God.
   Through Tidal king of nations, we have the seed of political organization, as NATO, the EU, the United Nations, the Economic World Forum, and countless world organizations that fundamentally own NOTHING. These powerful men and women of our time OWN NOTHING. They are not kings nor Presidents. They were NEVER ELECTED to lead, yet they suck the blood out of nations and their people. These bureaucrats are professional welfarites. They serve as agents of a future non-elected power source recorded in Revelation 17:12, 13 as ten united kings who have NO KINGDOMS as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These kings without KINGDOMS are our current people of unimaginable wealth who control nations thorough their powerful wealth. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. (Revelation 17:12) These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. (Revelation 17:13)

THE FIVE KINGS
IN THE VALE OF SIDDIM

   The four kings from the EAST craved world dominance and used their power to put other kings under bondage. You can use the phrase ‘early colonialism,’ or in our age and time, the American doctrine called ‘nation building,’ or ‘nation destroying,’ depending on what side you are on. The mystery of the west’s obsession against Russia is undefinable. The west has ravaged the Ukraine in their doctrine of ‘nation building,’ to HIDE their evil intentions against Russia. No one in the beginning of this deceit sat down and counted the cost of lives, just as the four kings they were destroyers, they were conquerors, they were stealers of goods and of the souls of men. What has it cost the Ukraine? It has cost them their kingdom. It is empty, millions have perished, and millions have escaped the tyranny from the leaders of Ukraine. Without the people there is no kingdom, a ruler must have people to rule, not an empty country. We are quite aware that Ukraine does not have a ruler of light, they have a ruler of darkness, they have a mad man (an actor) in a green T-shirt.
   The four kings of the EAST not only usurped the products and goods of the land that they had invaded, but they spread their tyranny throughout the entire land, they were greedy people taking and destroying that which did not belong to them. As we see this destruction of Ukraine, the western world is already scheming how they will take and DIVIDE the spoils of Ukraine. BlackRock and big money are already salivating over what they can steal. This was the mindset of the four kings of the EAST. As today, these four kings (the number FOUR takes in ‘world dominance) made WAR against five kings in the lower area of Jordan in the vale of Siddim, the Salt Sea.

That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar. (Genesis 14:2) All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea. (Genesis 14:3)

Bera king of Sodom
Gift ● IN the evil

   Bera was the king of Sodom, Bera means ‘IN the evil,’ to emphasis the wickedness of this king. This is the king of Sodom, and Sodom means ‘fettered,’ or ‘bound.’ Man cannot accept that SIN is a binding force against his own being. The book of Romans shows us the slavery to sin, and we see it in Sodom with the public display of SIN and EVIL binding the people of the city of Sodom TO Bera, and again, his name means ‘IN the evil.’

Birsha king of Gomorrah
Full of all wickedness

   The second king, Birsha king of Gomorrah. Birsha means ‘full of all wickedness.’ His kingdom was Gomorrah, once again we have a city of bondage to sin, and the diluvian nature of Genesis Chapter 6 in their hearts. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)

Shinab king of Admah
Fathers’ tooth

   The third king was Shinab king of Admah. This king was a descendant or second generation of that kingdom of Shinar, for his name means ‘fathers’ tooth.’ Why do I say that he was the second generation away from Shinab? When we are born, we develop our FIRST set of teeth, and when we mature, we get a SECOND set of teeth, hence the phrase, ‘fathers’ tooth.’ His kingdom was Admah which means ‘earthiness,’ or ‘worldliness.‘ The Christian, those who are born of the Spirit of God, who are the sons of God, who are part of a heavenly kingdom are exhorted in John’s first epistle to love not the world. This includes all that belongs to the world: worldliness.

Shemeber king of Zeboim
Grinding

  The fourth king was Shemeber king of Zeboim. Shemeber means ‘grinding,‘ with an implied sense of ‘exterminator.‘ There have been many kings of this world who through the grinding of their tyranny have destroyed or exterminated their own kingdom. He was king of Zeboim, which means ‘troops.’ Zeboim was a kingdom based on war and whose people were war prone. Many nations of our current age and the historical western world are noted as also being war prone.

The King of Bela, which is Zoar
Swallowing

That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar. (Genesis 14:2) All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea. (Genesis 14:3)

  Number five, the LAST king in the lower region of the Jordan was called Bela, which is Zoar. Although verse 2 of Genesis 14 reads and the king of Bela, implying that the city was named Bela with a nameless king, however through the following verses of Genesis 36:32, 33; and Numbers 26:38 we understand that the name Bela ALSO referred to a person.
   This verse ends with the LAST kingdom and the name Bela and Zoar seems to be a place where the five kings united together against the four kings of the EAST. As the place was a geographical location of unification so also the name of both the city and the king were the same. Bela means ‘swallowing,‘ which in turn would be ‘consuming the people.’ Zoar means ‘bringing low,‘ or ‘keeping the people down.‘ These first two verses of Chapter 14 sets the stage for WAR. Why was this first recorded WAR disclosed by the Holy Spirit of God? The answer will surface . . . . read on.

The FIRST RECORDED WAR of NATIONS
● The REASON ●
● The AFFECTED ●

Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled. (Genesis 14:4)

And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim, (Genesis 14:5)
And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan, which is by the wilderness. (Genesis 14:6)
And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar. (Genesis 14:7)
And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim; (Genesis 14:8)
With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five. (Genesis 14:9)
And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain. (Genesis 14:10)
And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way. (Genesis 14:11)
And they took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed. (Genesis 14:12)

   It was ONLY Chedorlaomer who had a reason for WAR. He was the chief principle of the dispute. These five kingdoms had served Chedorlaomer for twelve (12) years. Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled. (Genesis 14:4) The other three kings of the EAST joined with Chedorlaomer because they were of the same federation. Notice, the numbers, the number twelve and the number thirteen. Here is the answer to this former question, Why was this first recorded WAR disclosed by the Holy Spirit of God? THIS FIRST WAR REVEALS THE LAST WAR. This FIRST WAR UNVEILS how the LAST WAR on earth BETWEEN NATIONS will play out.  

    The number thirteen (13) was the year that the five kings rebelled against Chedorlaomer. Remember the meaning of the name of Chedorlaomer. ‘binding the sheaves,‘ which is ‘collecting the people, and binding them to himself.’ Also remember that in the thirteenth Chapter of Genesis and in the thirteenth verse we are introduced to the men of Sodom. But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly. (Genesis 13:13)
   These five kingdoms in the thirteenth year of their servitude rebelled. They stopped paying tribute or taxes. The long arm of taxation of nations still continues into this very day, and the penalty for not paying those taxes is STILL a binding fact of government control. In reality, you have the people of the five kingdoms paying tribute or taxes to the four kingdoms of the EAST. (This is what the citizens of the United States have being doing for decades.) They were supporting the tyrants of the EAST although they were not the people of the EAST . . . the love of money is the root of all evil. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (1st Timothy 6:10)
  EVIL MEN MUST HAVE MORE MONEY. All you have to do is follow the money to find the ROOT of evil. It is interesting that although billions of dollars have disappeared from the United States Treasury in fraudulent Social Security payments there have been NO NAMES placed to the theft of taxpayer’s money. Government serves itself, and NOT the people that it governs. FACT: in the Congress of the United States there have been many lawsuits related to sexual activities that have been settled out of court, yes . . . with the taxpayer’s money.
   These five kings rebelled against the four kings of the EAST and were militarily punished for their rebellion. Both the kings of the EAST and the five kingdoms from the lower Jordan are there to show us how an ungodly world operates without the knowledge of God.
   In Psalm 24, the earth belongs to the LORD, the world and THEY that dwell therein. We also have Genesis Chapter 14 to show that the conflict of WAR that took place in heaven STILL CONTINUES in the world of mankind. The world is under Satan’s plan which is in opposition to God’s plan and His determinate counsels. This is how worldly powers act without the Spirit of God. We see this throughout the world TODAY that the nations of ungodly men CANNOT rule JUSTLY. It is God who is the Great Overturner. God is in complete control. If you do not believe this then you have a God who is out of control. The Scriptures are given to show that the beginning of the creation of God WAS and IS the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. It is HE who is in complete control.

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; (Revelation 3:14)

   God has given man certain boundaries. We see this in The Law that He gave to Moses, however, man is out of control. He has violated all that God has given him. Man is at a state of contention against God, contention with his fellow man, contention of world governments, and contention in world global governments, each nation having a political war within its own political system. It is at a point that it is not constructive, they have become destroyers against the people who have placed them in office. The power of this contention takes us back to the ROOT of SIN at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. There was a contention of the serpent against God and against man, and there was contention with man against God. This power of sin ruined everything. Man became a liar to His God and entered into the history of mankind not only as a SINNER but as a perpetual LIAR to enrich his own goals.
   In the four kings of the EAST, we also have the Middle East erupting in WAR, and Israel was not even in existence at that time, but the evil heart of man was in existence. The Jew has always been the scapegoat of all that ills mankind. Man likes to place all the troubles of the world on the Jews because mankind cannot accept that ALL the troubles of this world are centered in his heart . . . a heart of SIN.
    Only Abram knew the promise of the nation to come when God would build a nation from Abram’s seed. In the first recorded WAR, Israel CANNOT be blamed, for Israel was not yet in existence, BUT the kings of the EAST brought WAR into the land of the Canaanites. God provides a lot of information in this 14th Chapter: past, present and future. If we dissect this number of 14, what do we see? We see the number 1. Everything begins with God. Then we have the number 10, which is man’s responsibility to God’s perfect order for the world, and number four is the number of the world, north, south, east and west. This first recorded WAR on earth is NOT the very first WAR, since prior to this there was WAR in heaven.

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, (Revelation 12:7)
And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. (Revelation 12:8)
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:9)

   The instigator of this WAR in the heavenly realm was Lucifer, the old serpent, but to understand his character, you should read Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28. Once you understand the character of Lucifer, you will see this same deception and the character of the deceiver is IN ALL of mankind. Lucifer is a brutal and barbaric character. He deals in PAIN, SUFFERING and DEATH. This should give us more understanding about the four kings from the EAST. The EAST depicts Babel in the land of Shinar. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. (Genesis 10:10) This was the location of the kingdom of Nimrod, and the world gravitated to Shinar.

And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. (Genesis 11:1)
And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. (Genesis 11:2)
And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. (Genesis 11:3)
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. (Genesis 11:4)
And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. (Genesis 11:5)
And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. (Genesis 11:6)
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. (Genesis 11:7)
So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. (Genesis 11:8)
Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. (Genesis 11:9) Notice that in this Scripture there is no mention of the sons of God in the land of Seth. It is the children of men in Genesis 11:5. FAITH had vanished from the earth until the call of Abram.

   What we have here is that the complete destruction of the diluvian world  DID NOT put the fear of God into the hearts of man. For once again, SIN and ENMITY in the heart of mankind overthrew man’s spirit and his heart was STILL EVIL, and EVIL became the main FOOD of sin. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9) The false doctrine of this world is that there is SOME GOOD in man. There is absolutely nothing good in man and in mankind as we see in the past diluvian world. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Psalm 14:3) I want you to understand that there IS NO GOOD THING in any flesh of man. This is why NO EARTHLY man could redeem man. If redemption was possible by an earthly man than God would have made Adam our savior. But Adam had crossed the great divide, his heart, soul and spirit had entered into the realm of darkness with its master, the prince of darkness. The Psalms teaches us much about man. It also teaches us about self, and one’s own heart. Even Paul, in the book of Romans, reflected on Psalm 14 in Romans 3:9-12.

What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; (Romans 3:9)
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (Romans 3:10)
There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. (Romans 3:11)
They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Romans 3:12)

   In the book of Romans, we go from the flesh to the Spirit. There has to be this transformation to the Spirit of Christ as He redeemed us as a heavenly Man IN the LIKENESS of sinful flesh on the cross. This heavenly MAN came in perfection to remove us from the ungodly world BY HIS SPIRIT to change our heart, soul and spirit and make us a heavenly people. As we are blessed by His intervention against Satan and against man and man’s works of darkness, our eyes are opened and we SEE the wickedness of the flesh IN Adam, and we rejoice that we have been given LIFE ETERNAL in the Spirit of Life which is in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2) In Romans 8:9 we are reminded again that there is a separation between the worldly flesh of man and the Spirit of Christ which has been given to us by the Father according to Galatians 4:6.

● So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:8)
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (Romans 8:9)
● And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. (Galatians 4:6)

  It is not just the understanding of these great truths, but there is an experience that is UNLIKE any other experience, and it ONLY HAPPENS ONCE when we are born again. When we take our first breathe of the Spirit, and cry out, O my God, how great thou art. That moment will never be forgotten for it is a constant reminder that we are the children of God, the sons of God. The Spirit of God opens up the word of God, there we find a resting place and a haven for our heart, soul and spirit as we are led through the word of God. The book of Psalms is actually separated into five sections or five books. Each section or book has a universal application to ALL of mankind; however, they also have the secret pulsing of the heart of God to teach His children in a world where they are strangers and ALL around them is the turmoil of darkness.
   The book or books of Psalms will teach you about your inner self, and the preparation and the maintenance of the heavenly MAN. You will rejoice in drinking from the springs of water gushing up to heaven, and climbing God’s holy hill to the holy city of God where the rivers of that city are PURE and FULL of LIFE. In reflection, consider your own soul, God reveals in detail the battle of His Son on the cross over the evil and sin of man. Psalm 22 is the WAR of the WORLDS to settle and finish the WAR that had started in heaven. THAT WAR was finished on the cross of Calvary when out of the darkness came a new light, Christ drove away the darkness and gave us a new day IN HIS LIGHT – the Light of the Lamb.

● In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:4)
● And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. (Revelation 21:23)

   The promises given to Abram have been expanded to ALL of his seed, both Jew AND Gentile. It is God’s dear Son who is the true SEED that has been reflected through all of the word of God. Christ was that holy thing from above, the Seed that was separate from mankind.

 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. (Galatians 3:16)
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. (Galatians 3:17)
For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. (Galatians 3:18)
Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. (Galatians 3:19)
Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. (Galatians 3:20)
Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. (Galatians 3:21)
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. (Galatians 3:22)
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. (Galatians 3:23)
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. (Galatians 3:24)
But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. (Galatians 3:25)
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26)
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Galatians 3:27)
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28)
And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:29)

   Aren’t you glad that we took this little detour into the book of Galatians? What is revealed in Galatians 3:16 is that Christ is the HEAVENLY SEED PROMISED to the woman in Genesis Chapter 3. The testimony of a heavenly SEED in Christ Jesus anchors ALL the promises made to Abram and are fulfilled in both Jew AND Gentile, both bond AND free, both male AND female from the deepest and darkest dungeon of the soul of man, he can be lifted out of darkness by the Spirit and the SEED, the heavenly SEED, which is Christ Jesus. Believers and those of FAITH are ALL ONE IN CHRIST.
  Think of the Spirit of Christ within me, and I will think of the Spirit of Christ within you, where you go in that Spirit, I also go. Where I go in that Spirit, you also go. This is the unity that we have in the Spirit of Christ. We do not see more of this unity because many are called, but few are chosen. The path of FAITH is a narrow path.
   The God of glory appeared to Abram while he was yet in Mesopotamia, and then we move to the promise of the land given BEFORE the first recorded WAR on earth. (Genesis 14 ) What does we see in the hidden darkness of these four kings? Individually they ALL have a desire to have a kingdom. Then the desire of a kingdom is consolidated into a union of greater strength not to do good, but to do evil. All these things have not changed throughout history, and the pages of the word of God reveal our current plight in this world in Genesis 14.
   Both the EU and NATO have wed themselves together. This is dangerous unification. NATO was formed to be a neutralizer AGAINST WAR. It is a military organization and it was built to be an aggressor which has been proven since President Reagan told Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev to tear down the wall. When the EU wed itself to NATO, in the darkness another organization was formed. NATO became not only a military aggressor but a political tool that can be used against other nations. NATO was used by Europe and the United States against Libya. It was NOT their FIGHT. It was NOT their WAR, but NATO joined with the aggressors.
   Not ALL Europeans embrace the United States, deep in the heart of Germany, there are MANY who still resent the United States for their bombing of Berlin. You may say that, that WAR is over, but let me remind you that the civil war was over in the United States over 150 years past, but STILL there is bitterness in both the south and in the north. WAR leaves a trail of tears and bitterness, and some WARS leaves such a deep generational bitterness that PEACE can never be achieved, and bitterness can never be erased. 
   Man struggles at finding peace among nations. Fallen man is NOT of peace, but of WAR. There is only ONE peace that we can have, and this is PEACE in the heart, soul and spirit, the PEACE of the Lord Jesus Christ. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)

   The rulers of this world are NOT committed to peace. They are exactly as the four kings in Genesis 14. Whether we follow those of Genesis 14 or those of our own time, man is still consumed with unsatiable GREED for MONEY and for LAND. It matters NOT to these men of war who they trample down or how many bloody and broken bodies they climb over for they will not be diverted from their goal. As it mattered not to the four kings of the east how many nations or tribes (that were not involved in the rebellion against tribute) were in their path, it also matters not to the planners and organizers of wars today (See-I-A and global IC) what nations are drawn into their path for in their estimation they are but meaningless collateral damage. (On a more particular and smaller view, consider the victims at Butler, PA.)
   Those affected by the WAR of the four kings of the East and the five kings of the plains were the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim, (Genesis 14:5) And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan, which is by the wilderness. (Genesis 14:6) And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.    The Rephaims were the remnant of the GIANTS from the wives or wife of one of Noah’s sons. For these three wives were the daughters of men, also known as the daughters of Cain. It was ONLY NOAH who was perfect in his generations. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. (Genesis 6:9) Notice in this verse, the word generationS. God wants us to see a crimson thread from Seth all the way to Noah. These are the generationS of Noah and Noah was perfect in his generations. He was the ONLY man left of FAITH who was known as one of the sons of God for the rest had polluted their heritage by marrying the daughters of Cain. This means that ALL the daughters of men were of the line of Cain, so that the sons of Noah could only marry the daughters of men (which were of Cain) and it was the line of Cain that brought forth GIANTS in the earth.  (There are many articles that have been posted about GIANTS . . . The First Battle of the kings of the EAST in the land of the Canaanites
• The Giants •

  The first battle of these four kings was against the GIANTS in the earth. And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim, (Genesis 14:5) And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan, which is by the wilderness. (Genesis 14:6) And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar. (Genesis 14:7)
   The title Rephaims means ‘giants.’ They were located in a place called Ashteroth which means ‘unity.‘ A place where they could protect themselves against the rest of the tribes of Canaan. Being GIANTS, they would not mix well with the rest of the occupants of the land. These were the men of renown of Genesis 6:4.

● There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4)
● And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei, (Joshua 12:4)
● All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out. (Joshua 13:12)
● For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.     These GIANTS were also in Karnaim, which means ‘double harm,’ or ‘twice as many.’ This battle against the GIANTS must have been a tremendous bloody battle of epic range and scope. It was the FIRST BATTLE as the four kings entered into the land of the Canaanites. Then they went against Zuzims in Ham. Zuzim means ‘roving creatures.’ They were probably difficult to contain and they were in the areas of HAM. Thus, they were of the land of both Egypt (Ham) and the land of the Canaanites. Then next we have the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim. Their name means ‘terror.’ They were in the double city of Shaveh Kiriathaim which means ‘joined at the hip.’ Then next the four kings faced the Horites in their mount Seir. These people were cave dwellers, for Horite means ‘cave.‘ They dwelt in mount Seir, the mountain promoted cave dwelling. These four kings from the EAST had to root them out from those caves which was probably a difficult military campaign.
    Giants, then gigantic roving creatures, then terrorists joined at the hip, then cave dwellers and we are not even at the five kings of the plains yet, and we see that this was an immense military campaign in the land of the Canaanites. This first battle against the GIANTS far outweighs ALL historical battles in the past of mankind. This first battle was greater than ALL the Roman and Greek battles, greater than all the past China and central Asian battles. This compares to the great wars and military actions of wars to come in the history of mankind. This was not a WAR of drones controlled by fingers thousands of miles from the battlefield, nor was it missiles fired from a distant submarine.
   The BATTLE of the GIANTS was sword against sword, spears against spears, and arrows against arrows. The battlefields were saturated with blood and limbs as men fell over bodies upon bodies. The sight and sounds of the groans of dying men in the agony of death equaled no battle since. This first recorded WAR against the GIANTS is symbolic of THE GREAT BATTLE yet to come BEFORE the millennial reign of Christ also known as the Battle of the Lamb.

    After the thousand years of Christ’s reign there will be a FINAL LAST BATTLE on earth. In the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ there are two battles . . . one BEFORE the millennial reign and one AFTER the millennial reign. The first is the BATTLE of The LAMB fighting for Israel as described in Revelation Chapter 17. (Revelation 17:12) The following sections refer to TWO BATTLES in two different time frames. 

● And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. (Revelation 17:12)
These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. (Revelation 17:13)
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. (Revelation 17:14)
● And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 12:17)
● But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. (Revelation 20:5)
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6)
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, (Revelation 20:7)
And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. (Revelation 20:8)
● And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelation 20:10)

   The WAR of the kings of the EAST is symbolic of the WAR at the FALL OF BABYLON, where the LAMB overcomes The Beast, his prophet and Satan. Then after the thousand-year period, Satan is released to lead the nations of the world to ONCE AGAIN to fight against Christ. This is the LAST and FINAL BATTLE. (That is an extremely brief summary of TWO BATTLES. Do not confuse the two.)
   This article is about the BATTLE of the four kings of the EAST and the connection to the BATTLE of the LAMB against BABYLON and The Beast . . . the PRE-MILLENNIAL BATTLE.

The Second Battle of the kings of the EAST in the land of the Canaanites
Children of Anak and their Confederates

  We are not through with the four kings from the EAST. After defeating the GIANTS of Genesis 14:5, the kings from the EAST warred against the Amalaties and the Amorites that dwelt in Hazezontamar. And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.    Amalekites (the plural of Amalek) is documented twenty-four times in the Bible. In Numbers 13:29 the Amalekites and their confederates were in the land of the south: the Hittites, the Jebusites, the Amorites and the Canaanites who dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.

The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan. (Numbers 13:29)
And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. (Numbers 13:32)
And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. (Numbers 13:33)

   The Amalekites and the Amorites were connected with the southern part of the land of Canaan. The southern part of Canaan was not always desert, and this also makes them confederates with the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Canaanites that dwelt by the sea: the Dead Sea (Salt Sea) by the coast of Jordan. Could it be that the Dead Sea has not always been dead. They dwelt by the coast of that Sea for a reason. Remember that in a future time, Joshua and Caleb described a fruitful land on the other side of the Jordan. Is the Dead Sea a witness against man for the sins of Sodom and the sodomites? Should not the Judge of the whole earth do right and should He want us, in this day of wickedness, to see the fierce judgment against the sodomites? Could the Dead Sea be a witness along with the word of God against all this wickedness of Sodom? The Amalekites were enemies of Israel, even before Israel came into the land, the Amalekites were confederates of the Canaanites and the Midianites.

● Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah. (Numbers 14:45)
● And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them; (Judges 6:3)
● And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude. (Judges 7:12)

   These were fierce warriors and confederates as is testified through the word of God, and yet in Genesis 14, the four kings from the EAST were able to overcome them. In the days of David we see the remnant of the descendants of the land of Canaan. And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt. (1st Samuel 27:8)
   These were not the descendants of Esau, these people were in the land BEFORE Abram, and BEFORE Abram received the promise.
     Now, back to the four kings of the East . . . .

The Victorious Four Kings of the East
versus
The Abram’s Small Band of Warriors

  There were many battles not recorded, nevertheless, they happened, and they were disclosed so that we might understand the great strength of these four kings of the EAST.

And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain. (Genesis 14:10)
And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way. (Genesis 14:11)
And they took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed. (Genesis 14:12)

   After the four kings of the EAST had destroyed Sodom, and carried away Lot and the people, this great force that could not be conquered by ALL the tribes and kingdoms of Canaan. All this information was given to us to show us that Abram and his three hundred and eighteen (318) trained servants and Escol and Anar and possibly Mamre were a very small force in comparison to the military of the four kings of the EAST. The Supernatural hand of the Lord was with Abram and his men and his confederates, and the hand of the Lord are MIGHTIER than the sword. This battle that took place near Damascus can be compared to the later battle of Gideon. Little is much when God leads. And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. (Judges 7:6) And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place. (Judges 7:7)

   Gideon had three hundred warriors to face Midian and the Amalekites and the children of the east.

And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them; (Judges 6:3)
And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass. (Judges 6:4)
For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it. (Judges 6:5)
And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD. (Judges 6:6)

   Abram was faced with the same insurmountable opposing military force well before the days of Gideon. However, the Lord fought the battle, and as Gideon, Abram divided his force by night and again I will remind you that in the days of the kingdom, Asa fought the Ethiopians and the Lubims which totaled a million men and three hundred iron chariots. Asa with his inferior force CRIED to the Lord. In the historical great battles in the word of God those of FAITH who relied on GOD become the victors although less in number.

And there came out against them Zerah the Ethiopian with an host of a thousand thousand, and three hundred chariots; and came unto Mareshah. (2nd Chronicles 14:9)
Then Asa went out against him, and they set the battle in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah. (2nd Chronicles 14:10)
And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee. (2nd Chronicles 14:11)
So the LORD smote the Ethiopians before Asa, and before Judah; and the Ethiopians fled. (2nd Chronicles 14:12)
And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar: and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away very much spoil. (2nd Chronicles 14:13)
And they smote all the cities round about Gerar; for the fear of the LORD came upon them: and they spoiled all the cities; for there was exceeding much spoil in them. (2nd Chronicles 14:14)
They smote also the tents of cattle, and carried away sheep and camels in abundance, and returned to Jerusalem. (2nd Chronicles 14:15)

   The hand of the Lord was magnified in verse 12, So the LORD smote the Ethiopians before Asa, and before Judah; and the Ethiopians fled.

Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge host, with very many chariots and horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on the LORD, he delivered them into thine hand. (2nd Chronicles 16:8)

The FUTURE SACRIFICE Revealed to Abram

   Abram divided his force by night and defeated the four kings, the children of the EAST. This was a Supernatural victory. Upon Abram’s return, the Lord, once again, APPEARED to Abram, BUT this time, GOD was in His priestly garments.
   The Lord came out from His heavenly sanctuary to reveal to Abram a future battle that the Lord would pitch against Satan, death and sin. We are reminded of this in John 8:56, Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Why Melchisedec at that particular time with Abram? He APPEARED to Abram as the PRIEST of the MOST HIGH GOD. He, Himself, IS the Bearer of the sacrifice. He embraced Abram with the bread of His Body and the blood of His cross. And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. (Genesis 14:18) Abram received the rejoicing of his heart in both the bread and the wine. GOD as both the High Priest and the King of Peace was revealed to Abram IN the Bread and the Wine. This was NOT of the earth, but it was the heavenly token of the fullness of time yet to come. But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, (Galatians 4:4)

● For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: (1st Corinthians 11:23)
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. (1st Corinthians 11:24)
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. (1st Corinthians 11:25)
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. (1st Corinthians 11:26)
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. (1st Corinthians 11:27)
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. (1st Corinthians 11:28)
● And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. (Matthew 26:26)
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; (Matthew 26:27)
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Matthew 26:28)
But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom. (Matthew 26:29)

The INVISIBLE GOD Revealed to Abram

  When a person receives the gift of FAITH as they walk in the path of FAITH, the Lord gives assurances on that path of FAITH. This is one of many assurances that He gave to Abram as He communed with Abram with the bread and the wine. Throughout the Old Testament the Lord Jesus APPEARED many times, thus, slowly drawing man to understand WHO HE was, the VISIBLE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD. this was working towards the FULLNESS of time and the DAY of the cross. Christ referred to this as MY DAY. This was NOT the days of His ministry BUT it was a particular day, THE DAY of the surrender of His life on the cross of Calvary. I again remind you that MY DAY is only mentioned one time in God’s word. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. The following is a little reflection on what we have discovered in the life of Abram and his walk of FAITH.

1. The God of glory APPEARED and called unto him while he was yet in Mesopotamia. (Genesis 12:7, 8)
2. When Abram first entered into the land again God APPEARED unto him, and this was where Abram built his first altar. He learned about the altar of sacrifice THEN that there would be a sacrifice that would remove sin and appease the wrath of God against sinful man.
3. After Abram returned from Egypt back into the land, he went back to the place of the altar. (Genesis 13:4) In this verse Abram again called on the name of the Lord. This is the altar between Bethel and Hai. Bethel is the house of God, it was there that he had fellowship with God.
4. Then we have Melchisedec. In this we are reminded that we walk from faith to faith, and the just shall live by FAITH. (Romans 1:17)
● For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:17)
● Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. (Habakukk 2:4)
● But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. (Galatians 3:11)

   Romans 1:17 is the embryo of FAITH developing in Abram and his walk of faith to faith. Through the altars that Abram built to God, he was introduced to the NEED of sacrifice. Through Melchisedec, Abram was introduced to the Lamb of God, the divine Person of that sacrifice. All the promises that God gave to Abram were both earthly and heavenly: both the SEEN kingdom and the UNSEEN invisible kingdom that can only be known by FAITH. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) The INVISIBLE had revealed Himself as both KING of peace and PRIEST of the most high God. The FULLNESS of the righteousness of God APPEARED unto Abram.

● For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; (Hebrews 7:1)
To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; (Hebrews 7:2)
Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. (Hebrews 7:3)
● For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. (Romans 4:3)
● Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. (Romans 4:9)
● Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. (Galatians 3:6)
● And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. (James 2:23)
● And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. (Genesis 15:6)
● But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

   The evidence is overwhelming that Abram SAW both an earthly kingdom and a heavenly kingdom for when he met the king of Sodom, who represents the sinful world of man, Abram declared that he had lifted up his hand to the most high God POSSESSOR of heaven and earth. This all came about by the heavenly revelation that Melchisedec WAS/IS the PRIEST of the most high God.
   I want you to seriously consider WHO APPEARED TO Abram! The God of glory appeared to Abram, the LORD (Jehovah) APPEARED to Abram, the Priest of the most high God APPEARED to Abram, the King of Peace and Righteousness APPEARED to Abram. All the attributes of GOD in Jesus Christ APPEARED to Abram, and remember that Peter, James and John also SAW the God of glory on the holy mount where Christ revealed His glory.

● And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, (Matthew 17:1)
And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. (Matthew 17:2)
And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. (Matthew 17:3)
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. (Matthew 17:4)
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. (Matthew 17:5)
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. (Matthew 17:6)
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. (Matthew 17:7)
And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. (Matthew 17:8)
● Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Hebrews 1:2)
● Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: (1st Peter 1:8)
● Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance. (2nd Peter 1:15)
For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. (2nd Peter 1:16)
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (2nd Peter 1:17)
And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. (2nd Peter 1:18)
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: (2nd Peter 1:19)

   When Christ, on the cross, went into the darkness of evil, the ENTIRE WORLD was covered in darkness.

● And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. (Luke 23:44)
And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. (Luke 23:45)
● Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. (Matthew 27:45)
● And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? (Mark 15:34)

    Then on the NINTH hour light returned for the battle was finished. The King of righteousness had fulfilled ALL righteousness. The King of peace had brought perfect peace, and Melchisedec, the Priest of the most high God had offered the perfect sacrifice. CLICK HERE for more about the work of the NINTH hour. 

   Only the God of glory could have at the END of the fulness of time and at the NINTH hour CRY out with a LOUD COMMANDING voice, IT IS FINISHED. It was Melchisedec who has the keys to death and hell and sits on the throne of grace making intercession for us as the Priest of the most high God.
   In Hebrews Chapter 1, we have the throne of righteousness. In Hebrews Chapter 4, we have the throne of grace. It is ONLY with and through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ that we have grace and truth where righteousness has kissed peace and grace.

● But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. (Hebrews 1:8)
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows (Hebrews 1:9)
● Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; (Hebrews 3:1)
● Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. (Hebrews 4:14)
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15)
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
● So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. (Hebrews 5:5)
As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (Hebrews 5:6)
Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; (Hebrews 5:7)
Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; (Hebrews 5:8)
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; (Hebrews 5:9)
Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. (Hebrews 5:10)
Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. (Hebrews 5:11)

   In Hebrews Chapter 5 it is unto the Son of God that God the Father spoke confirming both Sonship AND His Eternal Priesthood: past, present, and future.

● And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD: (Zechariah 6:11)
● Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. (Zechariah 6:13)
● I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. (John 15:1)

   In Genesis Chapter 14 we have the first mention of Melchisedec. The number fourteen is divided by 7 twice which is the fullness of God’s perfection and a double witness of that perfection. In that perfection Melchisedec is revealed to us. In Zechariah Chapter 6, we have both the PRIEST and the KING upon His throne, this is the throne of righteousness.

And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD: (Zechariah 6:12)
Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. (Zechariah 6:13)

   Through Melchisedec, as the Priest of the most high God, we not only see the dominion of righteousness, but we also see the PRICE of that righteousness IN Jesus Christ. He is the MAN, the BRANCH. He is the true vine, the FULL manifestation of the GODHEAD. Christ IS the manifestation of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
   Isaiah 9:6 reveals the FULLNESS of the GODHEAD IN the Prince of Peace. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. It is ONLY CHRIST who could say to all of His disciples, MY peace give I unto you. THEN, He told them that THIS peace is greater than any other peace that the world can give to you. The reason for this is that our peace is in the heavens, and our peace is in the throne of righteousness where both the King and the Priest of the most high God sits with the scepter of righteousness to ensure our salvation and eternal life. The most fundamental truth in the new birth is that the NEW BIRTH is NOT of man, it is NOT of self, it is NOT of flesh, it is of the SPIRIT OF CHRIST for He holds and IS our eternal life. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)
    Let’s return to Genesis 14:18 -20 . . . .

And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. (Genesis 14:18)
And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: (Genesis 14:19)
And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. (Genesis 14:20)

   Here we have the Lord of glory coming AFTER the defeat of the EASTERN world, which symbolizes ALL of God’s enemies. The King of righteousness defeated the world of darkness by NIGHT, from the sixth hour to the ninth hour of darkness.
   Melchisedec revealed Himself to Abram as BOTH KING and PRIEST. Now read Hebrews Chapter 7:1 -17.

For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; (Hebrews 7:1)
To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; (Hebrews 7:2)
Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. (Hebrews 7:3)
Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. (Hebrews 7:4)
And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: (Hebrews 7:5)
But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. (Hebrews 7:6)
And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better. (Hebrews 7:7)
And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. (Hebrews 7:8)
And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. (Hebrews 7:9)
For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him. (Hebrews 7:10)
If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? (Hebrews 7:11)
For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. (Hebrews 7:12)
For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. (Hebrews 7:13)
For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. (Hebrews 7:14)
And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, (Hebrews 7:15)
Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. (Hebrews 7:16)
For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (Hebrews 7:17)

   Compare Hebrews Chapter 7 with Abram as a preview of the promises made by the Lord to Abram. For in the darkest days of the history of Israel when the descendants of Abram have NO hope and are without strength, the Lord Jesus will come from the East to MEET them and destroy the armies of the East and the armies of the world, and the descendants of Abram will divide the spoils. Read the complete 19th Chapter of the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. You can do it . . .

    It was THERE in Genesis 14 meeting Melchisedec that Abram received ANOTHER revelation. Do you see the progressive revelation in Abram? First, it was the God of glory, who called Abram. This is where FAITH began. Then Abram moved from faith to faith, as the God of glory reveals more and more of His Person to both Abram and us, the children of God. God promises THEN He keeps His promises in His time. In this revelation of Melchisedec, Abram received the promise of the Lord’s day and he rejoiced in it.
   Let us go forward to John 8:56. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. The Lord Jesus informs us that Abram SAW His day. It is through our eyes, the gateway to our mind that we SEE. Abram SAW the Lord’s day on the cross of Calvary. As we have previously mentioned, and this is also very important, the Lord Himself mentions MY day. This phrase, my day, is only mentioned once in the entire Bible. The entire history of mankind (past, present and future) depended on THAT ONE DAY. Tell me . . . what does this say to you? The words of the Holy Spirit placed those two words ONE time in John 8:56. And as we understand THAT DAY was the day that ALL was completed when the Lord Jesus proclaimed, It is finished.
   We also should consider that the Lord used the words, my time, only three times in the New Testament. Each mention of my time was a forethought of HIS DAY.

1. And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples. (Matthew 26:18)
2. Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready. (John 7:6)
3. Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. (John 7:8)

   Abram SAW the Lord’s day and he rejoiced in anticipation of THAT day, just as we rejoice in our anticipation of our resurrection or translation, whichever comes first. But as the apostles, we have this hope within us. As the Jews or Israel will enter into the millennial kingdom, we are told that we will rule with the Lord of glory. Not only do we have the anticipation of resurrection or translation, but we have the anticipation to sit down IN the kingdom of our God not only during the millennial kingdom, BUT in the world to come. As the book of the Revelation discloses that The Beast and the false prophets and Satan will NOT see the lake of fire with anticipation, but they will be cast INTO that lake and be tormented eternally in the fires.

    This is important . . . WHO did Abram SAT DOWN with?

Abram sat down with the King Eternal.
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (1st Timothy 1:17)

Abram sat down with the King of righteousness.
For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; (Hebrews 7:1)
To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; (Hebrews 7:2)
Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. (Hebrews 7:3)

Abram sat down with the King of heaven.
● And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: (Daniel 4:34)
● Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. (Daniel 4:37)

Abram sat down with the King of glory.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. (Psalm 24:7)
Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. (Psalm 24:8)

Abram sat down with the King over all the earth.
● For the LORD most high [is] terrible; [he is] a great King over all the earth. (Psalm 47:2)
● And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. (Zechariah 14:9)

Abram sat down with the King of saints.
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. (Revelation 15:3)
Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. (Revelation 15:4)

Abram sat down with the King of the Jews.
Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. (Matthew 2:2)

Abram sat down with the King of Israel.
● He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. (Matthew 27:42)
● Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him. (Mark 15:32)
● Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. (John 1:49)
● Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed [is] the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. (John 12:13)

● Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off. (Luke 33:17)
● Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. (Luke 19:38)

Abram sat down with the KING OF KINGS.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. (Revelation 19:12)
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. (Revelation 19:13)
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. (Revelation 19:14)
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. (Revelation 19:15)
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:16)

Abram STOOD UP and raised his hand and said, ‘my KING and my GOD.’
● Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. (Psalm 5:2))
●Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob. (Psalm 44:4)

   All these thoughts are contained in the promises made to Abram. We can see even in our day and age that the promises that were made (for the most part) have been fulfilled. As Abram looked FORWARD in time to THAT DAY, we look BACKWARD to that SAME DAY, and although ALL things are not yet SEEN, through God’s word, we have seen the beginning and the end. We have seen the complete pathway of FAITH brought forth in Jesus Christ. Although Israel rejected their King, there will come a DAY that ALL Israel will say, My King and my God.

The WAR OVER SOVEREIGNTY

Many feel that the Lord Jesus was rejected when He was crucified, however, in 1st Samuel 12:12, Israel rejected their king when they cried for a king as the nations.

● And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. (1st Samuel 8:7)
● And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us: when the LORD your God was your king. (1st Samuel 12:12)

   The Lord was also rejected in Isaiah 53:3, He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! (John 19:14)
But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. (John 19:15)

  Both Israel as a nation and the Jews in the days of the Lord Jesus are without excuse. The words are similar, Give us a king like the other nations, to the words of the Jews, We have no king but Caesar. The fickle heart of man under sin, . . . give us a king like all the nations. In 1st Samuel 12:12, did not Israel have 12 tribes, twice we are reminded through the numbers 12:12 that they turned their backs on their king forever. It is written in the word of God, before Israel had a physical human king, God was their King. He was their King in Jesurun, but the hearts of man wants to be ruled by other sinful men. In a round about way that gives man liberty to sin because they are not under the authority of divine righteousness. Man does not want to be responsible to the God of creation, the Lord Jesus Christ. Go to 1st Samuel 8:5, 19, 20.

● And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. (1st Samuel 8:5)
● Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us; (1st Samuel 8:19)
That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles. (1st Samuel 8:20)

   A king like all the nations, well, let us return to Genesis 14 . . . our first example of kingship were the four kings of the EAST . . . HERE IS WAR where blood touches blood. WAR is an evil thing rooted in the WAR that first began in heaven. Its roots are in the prince of darkness, and the seed of evil and enmity against God was FIRST found in Lucifer. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. (Ezekiel 28:15)
   Lucifer was the anointed cherub, and he was chief in worship among the Cherubims. God had CREATED Lucifer to be the priest of all the angelic hosts, and God had set him in a very high position of service. When Moses was given the design of the Tabernacle, Bezaleel was filled with the Spirit of God in all the artifacts that would be made were to glorify ONE BEING, the GOD of creation, the Lord Jesus Christ.
   Let us travel where a few have gone before, we are going to step out of our realm of time and space, and deep into the vacuum of darkness, it is there that the God of creation FIRST manifested Himself and THEN spoke the worlds into existence. That manifest image of God was the Lord Jesus Christ. It was the VOICE and POWER of God who spoke the worlds into existence. It was there that the Lord Jesus became the beginning of the creation of God. It was HIS words that spoke, that brought forth the creation out of the emptiness of darkness. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:3) It was there that the Lord Jesus took upon Himself the title, The Word of God, which is emphasized in Revelation 19:13, And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
   When we add this title to John’s gospel in Chapter 1, we get more understanding of the beginning, not only the beginning of creation, but of the manifestation of the GODHEAD in the Lord Jesus Christ. In Ezekiel Chapter 28, Lucifer is a CREATED being, a CREATED entity, and therefore, he is NOT deity, not can he ever be deity.

Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. (Ezekiel 28:13)

  This strips ALL angels from being deities. It is ONLY the GODHEAD who has the fullness of divinity and the power of creation. Lucifer was the first entity who questioned the creatorial power of God, which man, in Adam, followed after Adam brought sin into the world. As you read Ezekiel Chapter 28, the prince of Tyrus is introduced into the scene. Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: (Ezekiel 28:2)
   This iniquity began with Lucifer, who desired to overthrow his Creator God. Lucifer wanted to establish himself as King of heaven and also wanted to overthrow the Kingship of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the deep black madness of the mind of Lucifer, he desired to be both King and Priest and usurp the authority and place of the most high God. Lucifer wanted the throne and the throne room. He wanted the expanse of heaven and ALL the creation. He had defiled his own sanctuaries in his enmity and rebellion against God. In his imagination, Lucifer had become his own idol. Because of his garments in the light and glitter of the stones that he wore, he had lifted up his own heart and his heart deceived him to rebel against His Creator. The ETERNAL KINGSHIP of the Lord Jesus Christ is seen in Hebrews 1:8 and 9. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. (Hebrews 1:8) Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (Hebrews 1:9)
   The title of ‘King of heaven’ encompasses Hebrews Chapter 1, there it is beyond Sonship, for the heavens are the works of His hands. No human mind can comprehend these works. It is hard enough for our minds to comprehend the stubbornness of our flesh, maybe we would be able to understand more of what God has for us in the word of God. It is God who has given speech, and understanding, and knowledge, and it is God who has given us wisdom and the very words of understanding. ALL has been revealed to us, but because of the nature of man, SIN has clouded and darkened the very thoughts of man, so that only the Light of Christ can pull us out and away from darkness and into His marvelous light.
    The ETERNAL KINGSHIP was solely established by God and belongs to the manifestation of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the express image of the invisible God. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. (Colossians 1:15) God’s sovereignty was first rebelled against by Lucifer. Then, as the slithering serpent, he enticed man, through sin, to join him in denying God’s sovereignty. This rebellion has traveled through man’s entire history to the present Church and religious system. The SAME voice of the people of Israel and the Jews is within the Church today, We have no king but Caesar.
   The battle of Satan and his dark world has covered the entire Church with the shroud of worldliness. The world Church gives the world sovereignty over the things of God. The battle that first began in heaven for heaven became the battle on earth for the earth. Lucifer was cast DOWN, and in the depth of his fall he tempted man and man surrendered his world to the darkness of sin. Man has taken the SAME path as Lucifer. Lucifer loves darkness as does man, and because Lucifer was denied Christs Kingship and Christs Sovereignly over heaven, Lucifer now uses man as his proxy to exalt man to the place of deity ABOVE the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth. Ezekiel Chapters 27 and 28, with the prince of Tyrus, give us more understanding of Revelation Chapter 13 and The Beast and the false prophet on Satan’s throne.
   Genesis 14 speaks a lot about the condition of the world in the time of Abraham. All should realize that Abram stood alone in this visible world, he was the ONLY MAN of FAITH. He was the depository of the goodness of God for it was the God of glory who called him, and promised him, AND enriched him in both FAITH and worldly POSSESSIONS.
   God has been working in the UNSEEN world. He has been holding back the powers of darkness and the evil hand of Satan. God was watching over Abram not only in the physical world, but also in the UNSEEN world. In Ephesians Chapter 6 there is a clear description of the evil world of Lucifer. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12) FAITH allows us to see beyond flesh and blood. FAITH and the word of God reveals the works of the power and powers of darkness.  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:19) For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (John 3:20)
   In Genesis 14 the pawnhood of Adam’s race: Satan used Adam against Adam. He stirred the pot of darkness in the four kings against the five kings. This is all behind the scenes of the physical world. Man is subject to both sin and death. Sin has blinded the eyes of the entire human race. Working in world conflict keeps mankind busy in the works of darkness. The powers of darkness and the principalities of darkness do not work openly but deceptively using man to battle against other men and blind the world to FAITH in the God of creation. When man declares, ‘Peace, peace,’ most likely peace is the furthest thing from the truth. Entire principalities or nations are under the rule of the spirit of darkness. We see this in the four kings and in the five kings. When Abram, through FAITH, decided to rescue Lot, Abram had to search his own soul and put on the armor of God.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. (Ephesians 6:10)
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11)
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)

   Satan, the old serpent, has an ideal tool in the descendants of Adam. I do not say this lightly, but WAR is the tool of darkness to cover the spiritual deception of the serpent. He HIDES behind both SIN and DEATH. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2) The highest order of man is but spiritual wickedness in high places. Again I say that everyone who walks by FAITH should prayerfully study Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel Chapter 28, when you get to know the traits of Lucifer you will see the same traits in the children of men, the descendants of Adam.
   After Abram’s great victory, the seductive work of Satan in the king of Sodom was to deceive Abram, but God said, ‘Just a moment, wait a moment, I have sent my Son, Melchisedec, King of peace and King of righteousness with the fruits of righteousness both bread and wine.’ The symbolism here is beyond natural comprehension. It tales the work of the Spirit of God to connect both the flesh and the blood of the Lord Jesus to Abram’s meeting with Melchisedec and the bread and the wine. There is only ONE who has the title King of peace and King of righteousness. NO descendant of Adam could ever hold these two titles, He who is RIGHTEOUSNESS is the KING of righteousness. He who is PEACE is the KING of peace. They are both met together in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The King’s Dale

   In Genesis 14:17 we have the king’s dale. And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king’s dale. (Genesis 14:1) This was a place of display, a place of vanity displayed for mankind. This was a place of monuments of men of renown to men of renown by men of renown and for men of renown.

   These idols were the monuments to dead kings, and the king’s dale is only mentioned twice in the word of God. The two kings related to the kings’ dale were both evil men. The king of Sodom, who was evil personified, and Absalom, the usurper. Take note of the numbers 18:18.

Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and reared up for himself a pillar, which is in the king’s dale: for he said, I have no son to keep my name in remembrance: and he called the pillar after his own name: and it is called unto this day, Absalom’s place. (2nd Samuel 18:18)

   In many cultures there are places set aside as places of remembrance. In many religions there are places even The Capitols of nations for the remembrance of men. No matter where you are spiritually as a child of God in the world, the King of peace and the King of righteousness does NOT NEED nor does He REQUIRE a PLACE. Christ has sent His Spirit into the sanctuary of the heart. His Spirit dwells there by FAITH.
   The places of the world’s remembrances go back to the vanity of Lucifer. He was caught up with his own merchandising, and he was exalted in his own sanctuaries, In the king’s dale we have the vanity and pride of the world, and it surrounds two wicked kings: the king of Sodom and Absalom. Absalom was without a doubt a messenger of Satan to destroy the earthly kingdom that God WAS and IS building. Consider the character traits of Absalom. His traits take us back to Cain, as Cain slew Abel it was Absalom who gave the command to kill his brother Ammon. Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon’s heart is merry with wine, and when I say unto you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant. (2nd Samuel 13:28) As you study this man Absalom you will see the outpouring of the character of Satan as seen in Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah Chapter 14. These are some of the characteristics, and they are diabolical and deceptive from the killing of his brother, Ammon, to his desire of the throne of Israel, to deceiving David, his father, and then overthrowing his father, the king. Everything about Absalom is vanity. The root of vanity is enmity against others, as Absalom raised an idol to himself in the king’s dale. This was an image (a pillar) to the greatness of Absalom’s vanity. We do not know if this was the same king’s dale of Genesis 14, but we DO KNOW that it had the same spirit of darkness because of the relationship of the two men under Satan’s control. In Revelation Chapter 13, we have the man who is called The Beast. Man is FINALLY stripped of his image in Adam, and the Holy Spirit reveals man as A BEAST. Then the prophet of The Beast raises up an image of The Beast. I ask this question; Will it be in the king’s dale? And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (Revelation 13:15) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: (Revelation 13:16)
   The first king related to the king’s dale was the king of Sodom. He was FULL of ALL wickedness. The second king was Absalom. The prince of the world, Satan, works by stealth, deception and guile. He was against God’s order, and he was the minister of death. He was FULL of vanity and pride. He desired the throne of the kingdom. Consider the king’s dale as Satan’s sanctuary on the earth.
   Through the word of God, we understand that Satan has MANY sanctuaries on the earth even into our present age. The kingdom of The Beast in Revelation Chapter 13 will be the FULLNESS of Satanic darkness. There has never been a time nor a place that has ever been that dark in the satanic work of Satan. Take ALL the kings and the leaders of the world, and you will not find a person equal to the evil of The Beast who will sit upon the throne of Satan. When considering the current time in which we live, things are moving so fast that man cannot keep up with the changes of his own technology. Today it is technology and soon to be the power of AI that will drive mankind into the abyss at the leadership of Satan’s Beast. His prophet will raise up an image to The Beast that talks and acts, it will be AI and not I AM. Man is at a point of passing his mind, his heart, his spirit  onto his own technology building a mechanical entity without a soul. We are on slippery ground. The mechanical or industrial revolution was brought about by man to make this world better and to give mankind a better economy than the thousand previous years. We are about to take a giant step into darkness to do away with the present order of nations. AI in its control will demand world depopulation. If man can lie about his reasons for governing, AI will DEMAND the removal of serfs and keep the parasitical elites. When and how, I do not know, but the mark of The Beast is an example of world depopulation, especially those of FAITH IN and OF the Lord Jesus Christ. And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:17) The FINAL IMAGE will be an image of The Beast that represents man on Satan’s throne. This image will most likely be situated in the king’s dale. We have traveled a great distance in this article, so, I will close now to give you time to muse and mull and meditate over these marvelous truths for GRACE and TRUTH came by Jesus Christ.
