Get over the thought that Chapter 1 of the Book of Genesis is all about us, it’s not about us, it’s about Him, our Creator. This book, the Bible, begins with an introduction. We are introduced to God. He desires that we should know Him before He pens the words (by God the Holy Spirit) to set before us His plan and purpose for His creation.

Genesis, Chapter One, is not about how God created the universe, or the heavens, or even the earth. It is ALL about God. It is the revealing that GOD exists. God creates. God communicates. God is active and not passive. GOD is the Creator. GODÂ was not only ‘in the beginning,’ but He was before the beginning.Â
