Falsely Accused

Falsely Accused

A righteous and good man is falsely accused of attempted rape and sexual misconduct. These allegations have become commonplace. We should not be surprised nor shocked by these narratives spawned by pride, vanity, financial reward and hate. The driving force that controls society is sin. Let’s examine the core of this issue of false accusations: it’s not about rape, it’s not about sexual misconduct, it is about ‘a righteous and good man.’

Our controlled society detests these words ‘a righteous and good man,’ they abhor those who seem to be the exemplars of spiritual strength and truth; consequently, all who are truly of God will be wrongfully persecuted, reviled, abhorred and ridiculed. Expect this to happen to the true servant of God; it could be false accusations of misconduct, or even accusations of just smiling at a child; in fact, accusers need no reason whatsoever to accuse any Christian because their hate trumps reason.  This exact account happened to a great man years past.

For those who will be immediately turned off when presented with Scripture to read, let me give you the short version. The man falsely accused was called Joseph. He was falsely accused by his employer’s wife. She liked what she saw, and she wanted what she saw, and thus her planned seduction began, she was focused, and she stayed on point. Day by day (as she spake to Joseph day by day) she made sure that her presence and her desire would not be missed by her intended victim. She flaunted herself, and she said, Lie with me. Being an honorable young man, he not only refused her advances, but he reminded her of where her loyalties and honor should be place: her husband, thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? Immoral women cannot stand to be rebuked, ignored or rejected. Then finding the occasion of being in the same room alone with her victim she did what many women have done throughout history, she physically attempted to sexually seduce him, And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. There was a physical struggle between this N . . A . . S . . T . .Y woman and this righteous man. Think this could not happen? think again, this has happened many times in the past, and many times in our current age, and it will continue to happen over and over again in the future. And who will people believe? the crying woman or the shell-shocked stoic man? Would a woman ever lie about such a serious crime? Joseph never tried to defend himself against these charges of rape because he comprehended the futility of doing so: he had no finances, he was in a strange country, he was a servant without rights. Revenge was what this N . . A . . S . . T . . Y woman desperately desired and she sobbed with tears, ‘RAPE — RAPE — and here is the evidence, I have evidence, can you not all see my evidence!! I am innocent, I am a pure, moral, misunderstood victim of sexual advances on my womanhood, my womanhood has been attacked, therefore all women must stand with me.’ This rape fable has destroyed more men, and more families than those who have actually been victims of sexual crimes because now when rape actually occurs there is doubt. The true victims of this rape fable narrative are the men falsely accused (as they will always carry this false attack against them and will live with the consequences of not being able to trust a woman); the false accuser (as she will always be seen as she truly is – a vicious liar), and the unseen victim (the woman who has actually been assaulted) she will be viewed as possibly not a victim at all!

Let me fast forward, this N . . A . .S . . T . . Y women’s false rape scheme worked, Joseph was imprisoned, suffered much, BUT God — yes, BUT GOD — you see, God had a plan, a great plan, a plan that even Joseph did not see at this point in his life. But God had a plan!! Joseph through divine intervention became second to the highest position in the land of Egypt. Joseph became second in power and authority to Pharaoh. (Sometimes the way up is down). I have wondered many times whatever happened to the husband who believed his N . . A . . S . . T . . Y wife when Joseph advanced to becoming second in the nation’s throne? Whatever happened to the N . . A . . S . . T . . Y woman when Joseph became ruler over all of Egypt? God never speaks of them again, why? because they were merely irrelevant pawns in His great plan to advance His faithful servant to the throne. They were not only irrelevant, but they were relegated to nonentities, they vanished into obscurity. Those who attempt to fight against God and His faithful and true servants always have nothing to look forward to except judgment. The haters of God fight against the message of God, the messengers of God, and the truth of God, but they cannot fight against the consequences of hating God.

To those who are children of God who have been falsely accused, I encourage you to stand strong, this is your time to be in the cage with Satan, but you are not alone. We (your brothers and sisters in Christ) stand with you in prayer, in fasting, (and in some cases financial assistance), and we stand with you in the knowledge that God is faithful and able to deliver you out of the hand of the wicked and deliver you from the cries and tears of N . . A . . S . . T . . Y women. (A side note: whenever you see anyone proudly advertising what they are, and what they believe by wearing clothing with the words ‘NASTY woman,’ BELIEVE IT!!)

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; . . . (Psalm 125:3)

And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither. (Genesis 39:1)

And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. (Genesis 39:2)

And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. (Genesis 39:3)

And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. (Genesis 39:4)

And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. (Genesis 39:5)

And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured. (Genesis 39:6)

And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. (Genesis 39:7)

But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; (Genesis 39:8)

There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? (Genesis 39:9)

And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. (Genesis 39:10)

And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. (Genesis 39:11)

And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. (Genesis 39:12)

And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth, (Genesis 39:13)

That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice: (Genesis 39:14)

And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out. (Genesis 39:15)

And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home. (Genesis 39:16)

And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me: (Genesis 39:17)

And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out. (Genesis 39:18)

And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled. (Genesis 39:19)

And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison. (Genesis 39:20)

But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. (Genesis 39:21)

And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. (Genesis 39:22)

The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper. (Genesis 39:23)
